  Julie was a pleasure to work with. She completely captured our vision and flavor. She offers delicious pastries that are baked fresh and YES you can tell! We ordered tarts, cookies, cupcakes and mini parfaits for our wedding dessert bar. Everything was just perfect. Looking forward to celebrating our Anniversary and ordering more. We will absolutely refer friends and family to Julie at Sugarcastles.

  Julie made the cupcakes for my wedding last month. She was such a pleasure to work with! She was patient, responsive and accommodating. And of course her cupcakes are absolutely delicious and beautiful! I would highly recommend her to anyone! Thank you Julie!!

  Julie provided the cake/cupcake for my daughter's wedding. My daughter's vision of what she wanted was very specific, and Julie absolutely understood and delivered. The finished product was absolutely beautiful, not to mention delicious. She is very easy to work with and is very accommodating. I would absolutely recommend hiring her.

  Julie of Sugarcastles made our wedding cake for our wedding in St. Helena. We were immediately impressed by her when we arrived for our cake tasting. Instead of a standard tiny replica of a cake, she brought actual slices of her cake favors with container samples of frosting, allowing us to mix and match favors. Her cream cheese frosting was so good we ordered her carrot cake, sight unseen. :)
  The cake was beautiful. And she worked with me to decorate the cake with some homemade paper flowers I had constructed for other aspects of the wedding. Our only regret? The bride and groom were dancing too hard during the reception to get any cake! We had our first bite, and had some leftovers the next day, so we will look forward to our top tier when we return for vacation to wine country :)

  Julie was FABULOUS. She was so quick to respond, set up a tasting and worked with us through every piece of our cake planning. She was on the ball and it was SO NICE not to have to think about the cake once we booked with her. The cake was beautiful and tasted FANTASTIC. We received so many compliments.

  Our wedding cake was one of the most beautiful things that I have ever seen! Julie did such amazing job with our cake table & with the cake. The cake was delicious and everyone said that it was one of the best wedding cakes that they have ever tasted. Julie is extremely responsive through email & always wanted to make sure that our special day was everything that we wanted- she did an absolutely outstanding job and we are so grateful to have had the pleasure to work with her!

It is clear through her work that she is pursuing something that she absolutely loves & wants nothing more but to contribute to making your special day a memorable one. Julie is extremely easy to communicate with and is willing to go the extra mile for anyone. She checked in with us often and offered great advise and suggestions. Our wedding cake is still talked about till this day due to her amazing work! The amount of detail and attention that was put into our cake was apparent. I'm happy to recommend Julie to any bride or groom that is looking for a great cake vendor.

  I loved my wedding cake!! It was nothing short of delicious and everyone is still talking about it today! Julie was wonderful to work with and everything regarding the cake was seamless. At first, I was considering not doing the cake thing, but after working with Julie, I am so glad I did. It looked beautiful, tasted delicious and she went above and beyond traveling to deliver it and setting it up beautiful!! I would recommend her to anyone!

  Julie was great to deal with. I brought pictures for her to reference and she followed it exactly. The cake was delicious and a huge hit. She went out of her way to do what I needed. It looked beautiful. Would definitely recommend her to future brides.

  I am not a HUGE fan of buttercream frosting but after tasting Julie's, I'm a complete convert. Julie provided the cake for our wedding and it was fantastic. She worked with our needs, provided prompt service, and was VERY friendly and helpful in every aspect of the cake planning. I would call her again in a heart beat for any future cake needs. She provides a great product and very high quality service. We were thrilled with her and her tasty creations.

She knew what we wanted before we did! We opted for a "cupcake tree" instead of a traditional wedding cake, and Julie outdid herself with adding just the right touch of flowers and decorations. She was flexible with meeting times (even met me at a coffee shop for last minute details!), easily reachable by phone or e-mail (important with any vendor!), and extremely easy to talk to and bounce ideas off of. She has a wide range of cake flavors and her product tasted exquisite. Thank you Julie for making a lasting impression on our special day- everyone ALWAYS remembers the cake!!! :)
