  Delicious!! And crowd pleaser!

  We used Sugar Pine Cakery for our wedding desserts and it was the BEST decision. It was such an easy process to order the desserts - quick order on the phone and payment right then and there. Allison was so organized and sent our invoice right after the phone call. Not only was it easy to order the dessert but everything was DELICIOUS. We had brownies, lemon bars, raspberry shortbread bars, chocolate chip cookies, snickerdoodles, iced oatmeal cookies and strawberries and cream cake. Every bit was sooooo yummy. I highly recommend Sugar Pine Cakery if you're on the search for desserts for your special day!

  I loved our wedding cake! And cupcakes! Sugar Pine Cakery was the perfect choice for us, and so yummy! My husband and I had the option of purchasing a cake from our vendor but after we tasked their cake and the many different flavors we were hooked on this bakery for life. We had first wanted to have one big cake however we ended up going with a smaller cake for my husband and I to cut and then cupcakes in a variety of flavors. We couldn't choose just one flavor because they were all so wonderful. Allison gave us the option to pick and choose what we wanted. She was excellent to work with and understood exactly what we wanted and made that happen. She worked well with our florist since we had flowers cascading down the cake and also provided décor items for the cake table. I cannot wait to come back up to Tahoe City and get more of the goodies they make at the Sugar Pine Cakery!

  Allison made us the most beautiful AND delicious cake...tough combination in my opinion :) She did a great job executing my crazy request to have skiers on the cake and even went to the extra effort to get some trees to decorate it. It turned out better than I could have imagined and was flagged by delicious cupcakes and lemon bars on a beautiful wood round layout. She was wonderful to work with all the way from the cake tasting through the big day.

  We ordered our wedding cake and cupcakes from Sugar Pine Cakery for our Tahoe wedding this past Sunday. Allison was extremely helpful through the whole process of ordering our delicious treats. We couldn't have been happier with the way everything turned out. Our cake was delicious and looked beautiful. The cupcakes were a hit and our guests complimented us on the presentation and their tastiness. We ordered a variety of cupcakes and they were all so delicious! I would highly recommend Allison to help create something tasty for your next special event!

  Sugar Pine Cakery made our wedding cake and it was absolutely delicious! I contacted them on short notice, and they graciously made us our cutting cake. My husband has food allergies, and they made us a gluten, vegan cake that tasted amazing! I would highly recommend Sugar Pine Cakery.

  Sugar Pine Cakery made our wedding cake and we were really happy with both the cake and the service. We requested a last minute change to our order, asking Allison to go from a small cutting cake to a cake large enough for all our guests. She was very accommodating and even allowed for an additional tasting. The cake turned out beautiful and our guests raved about how tasty it was!

  Allison of Sugar Pine Cakery made carrot cupcakes for our wedding. She was friendly and easy to work with and the cupcakes were absolutely delicious. So many guests asked where I ordered them from. Since our wedding was on a Tuesday, she was able to deliver them for a reasonable fee. We also ordered 1 dozen of our cupcakes to be gluten-free as one of our guests has celiac disease. This was no problem and they were delivered in a separate box and were carefully labelled.
  The cupcakes looked great and I even managed to save a few to freeze and save for our first year anniversary. I can't wait to indulge again!

  We had cupcakes for our wedding from Sugar Pine Cakery and boy were the amazing. They worked with us on different flavors and even offered some suggestions that would pair nicely together. The taste and quality of the cupcakes are just delicious and perfect. I can not recommend this place enough!

  So thankful Allison was able to make cakes and cupcakes for our wedding! They were so delicious! Allison was very sweet and accommodating. She personally had a tasting with my husband and myself and showed us the many possibilities and options for cakes at our reception. Our guests loved the different flavors. Our personal favorites are the salted caramel and the strawberry with cream cheese! for our cutting cake, we had a delicious vegan chocolate cake with almond icing... I will be eating delicious cake for breakfast for a week! Thanks Allison for making such sweet treats for us!!

  Delicious Cupcakes

  Sugar Pine Bakery created the cupcakes for my daughter's wedding. They were delicious and beautifully decorated. The bride and the groom's cupcakes were adorable.

When talking to her over the phone or in person, she is great, but email was a struggle. I think she replies too quickly, by either providing incorrect information or just being abrupt. In terms of incorrect information, I was under the impression after we signed the contract we would be paying one price. When I emailed her as we had gotten closer to the wedding, she told me another price. While she honored the original price, there was a few moments of spasticism while I dig up my contract and try to figure out what is going on. Just little moments like this of unnecessary stress which could have been alleviated if she had reviewed our information before quickly responding.
  
  The cake arrived as scheduled and was set up beautifully. It was exactly what we had ordered. Additionally, her servings are quite generous, so if you're on the boarder of wondering sizing up or down, I'd size down. We ordered a cake that was about 10 servings less than our guest count and we ended up with a lot of left overs still. Overall, I'd still recommend.
