  The best cake & cupcakes!

  Brittany was the best to work with!! She was very easy to communicate with and always did so in a timely manner! Most importantly, her cakes are so delicious!! We did a "take home" tasting which was both delicious and very helpful! We had a small cutting cake and cupcakes for our guests which were all a HUGE HIT! Everyone raved about the cupcakes :)

  Delicious Cake!

  Sugar on Top was very easy to work with and very responsive during the pre-wedding planning period. We got to taste 3 different flavors of cake and frosting during our 'tasting' and were even able to take some back for family members to sample. Brittany was easy to work with and quick to respond to communications, including when we need to adjust the diameter of the cake just one week prior to the wedding to accommodate a smaller cake stand while still maintaining the 'look' we were envisioning. We loved our cake and received feedback from multiple guests that it was one of the best wedding cakes they had ever had, some even having seconds when they do not usually enjoy cake at weddings.

  beautiful and delicious!

  Brittany took all of my requests and ideas and made them a wonderful reality! Everything was beautiful, my guests raved about the desserts! We put some to go boxes out and ALL of the dessert was gone because everyone took home extras it was so good! I wish we lived closer to eat her treats more often!

  So Happy With Our Wedding Cake

  Perfect Cake!

  Brittany was so easy to work with. She was so kind and incredibly flexible. She worked hard to help us find the perfect wedding cake flavor combinations. When I presented her with a style of cake that we wanted, she was able to deliver, no questions asked! She even provided the greenery decorations on the cake free of charge, so that was one less thing I needed to worry about finding. Brittany and her husband are a great team and the cake on our wedding day was absolutely delicious!

  Brittany was so great. Even though I changed my mind on her 10 times the cake i got was exactly what i wanted and delicious. She drove my cake and cupcakes from va beach to little old Madison to help give me the perfect day. The cake and cupcakes were beautiful. thank you so much Brittany. Your the best

  My guest loved my cupcakes, they looked beautiful and the cake looked exactly like the picture i showed her. Incredible prices. Not high like big bakery shops...she also does amazing birthday cakes and designs.

  If you are looking for somebody professional yet friendly, Brittany is your go to girl!! Not only did she make my cake exactly the way I wanted, she exceeded my expectations with the taste. Everyone was raving how it was the best wedding cake they had ever had. Since the wedding, I have also had many of her sweet treats!!

  Amazing!!! Amazing!! Amazing!!!
  I spoke often via email with Brittany about what i wanted. She was always very pleasant and helpful. I changed my mind a few times on what i wanted visually. I ordered a 3 tier cake that fed 80 people. I had each layer a different flavor and different design. On a last minute whim i requested a special grooms cake too. I Told her what his hobby was and she sent me a few pics of ideas. I liked a couple of them and told her to go with it. What i got was remarkable.
  Both cakes were amazing and i was so very happy. I had cake nightmares because my wedding was in July and i had been to a few weddings before mine and the cakes were leaning. So i was afraid my would melt. Nope, she assured me it would not and it DID NOT. Yay!!! She is so very talented and creative. I highly, highly recommend her to everyone in her area. I will be contacting her for future cakes. Oh and i forgot to mention her cakes taste amazing and are very resonable.

  Brittany is Great! Great value for beautiful cakes.

  Brittany was very flexible when we had to postpone our wedding. She was very responsive and everything was easy to understand. The Rotunda cake she made for us was beautiful, and the red velvet wedding cake tasted so good! Thank you Brittany!

  All I can say is “WOW!” Brittany was WONDERFUL to work with, and the cake and cupcakes she provided for our May 2017 wedding were not only absolutely delicious, but absolutely beautiful! Our guests absolutely DEVOURED everything, and we heard nothing but compliments about how good the cake and cupcakes were! Brittany even went above and beyond and made us a batch of gluten free cupcakes for a couple of our guests who legitimately medically cannot consume gluten—one of whom let me know that this was the first wedding she’d been to in YEARS where she’d been able to eat any kind of cake and not feel sick afterwards. I highly recommend Sugar on Top for any of your cake needs!

  I had them make a football wedding cake for my husband and even gave them a picture of exactly what I wanted and even confirmed with them twice what I wanted. When the cake arrived at the wedding I was not able to see it until it was time to surprise my husband with it. When i saw it in the box It looked okay and then I took it out and it looked more like a ham then a football. In fact that was the comments by most of the guests at the wedding. It was actually not the size of a football at all and it was falling in in the middle of the cake. It did have the redskins logo and the number I wanted on the cake. The cake was also delicious but I was very disappointed with the look.
