Beverly was amazing! She blew mind and sold me with the cake tasting! So talented, the raspberry lemonade was my favorite. The way she decorated our dessert area was absolutely everything I could have dreamed of and more. She went above and beyond and I’m eternally grateful! -

I could go on and on about how amazing Sugar Dusted Bakers is and how you should look no further for your wedding baker! My husband and I knew we wanted Beverly to make our wedding cake and cupcakes as soon as we left the tasting at her house. She was so welcoming and her cupcakes tasted better than any other cupcakes we had tried, by far. We got so many compliments on our wedding day about how great the cake and cupcakes were. Beverly was very pleasant to work with and offers so many options for cake flavors, fillings, icing flavors, toppings, etc. We had 5 different types of cupcakes at our wedding and each one was a hit! She even took the time to put the real flowers from the florist onto our wedding cake as well. Working with Beverly leading up to our wedding was an incredible, seamless experience. We had intended on taking more time to see other vendors and do more tastings before making a final decision, but by the time we were done with her tasting, we didn't even need a discussion to know that Beverly's cakes were the ones we needed to have on our wedding day.
We aren't local to where Beverly is, so all of our arrangements were made remotely over e-mail or by messaging on WeddingWire. She was very responsive every time we had a question and she was incredibly accommodating when we wanted to try flavor combinations she didn't initially have listed on her site. We had four cake flavor combinations at our tasting, which itself was a wonderful, homey, welcoming experience, and my only regret is that I didn't leave enough room after my lunch that day to eat more cake during our appointment. Everything was absolutely delicious, and if we lived closer, absolutely I would have ordered cakes of the flavors we didn't end up picking just to have for ourselves at home!
Beverly was also very attentive to the look we wanted for our cake, and her attention to detail was immaculate. It looked precisely how we envisioned, and the presentation was beautiful. Beverly made sure to call to confirm everything we wanted or notify us of any minor changes necessary; having a vendor personally reach out was a huge help and meant one less thing for us to worry about following up with in the weeks leading up to our wedding.
Every guest was impressed with the cake, from flavor to texture to presentation. Even most of a week later, when we were finishing up the leftovers, the cake held up extremely well and still tasted as delicious as it did on wedding day. Already we can't wait to tuck into the top tier of our cake on our first year anniversary.

The cake tasting was delicious. Salted Carmel was my favorite & was the wedding cake we chose for our special day! My favorite part is that everything is made from scratch. The wedding cake reminds me of something I would eat at my grandmothers house. -

Beverly created a delicious cut cake and six flavors of cupcakes for our wedding. They were the talk of the town. We taste tested multiple bakeries, and believe me when I say SDB is the only one that delivers beautiful AND flavorful cake and does not sacrifice flavor for style. If you go with SDB, you will have beautiful, flavorful cake for your event! Highly recommend. -

Fantastic lady, amazing service and the highest quality I have ever met!
I wish there were more stars to express how happy I am to find Beverly! She is such a nice, pleasant and wonderful lady. Here cakes and cupcakes is something! After me and my husband had tasting at her hospitable house, I fell in love with her and her cakes! It was so hard to make a choice as everything was so delicious. We chose something, but then I said , oh Beverly, I want to change my order. And you know what?! She patiently changed it and even gave a piece of advice. We chose the red velvet cake and 2 kinds of cupcakes. People told me, don't worry, the guests usually do not eat most of cake. You know what? We even had to cut the top tier. LOL!
At the day of wedding, it was real heat! I have no idea how Beverly managed to do that, but she transported the cake and cupcakes successfully! And the most important thing I want to admit and to thank her for is that when he put the cake on the cake stand and cupcakes on the cupcake stand, she also helped to decorate the candy bar even when it was not her job at all. I appreciate it so much! We were short in time and she gave us a hand! I was so touched!
So , again many many thanks! And I highly recommend Sugar dusted bakery!

Our cake was absolutely beautiful and it was delicious - the cupcake were perfect and great as well. We received countless compliments about our cake.
Beverly was also so accommodating when it came to delivering our cake and cupcakes.
Everything she did truly helped to make our day special. I would recommend her to everyone and would purchase a cake from Sugar Dusted Bakers a million more times if I could. -

I first met Miss Beverly at a wedding I attended, I arrived at the reception a bit early as she was setting up and because my daughter was getting married a month later i grabbed her information even though I had plans on a cake already, I just wanted a backup. Once my husband and I tasted her cake later that night i immediately knew that my cake plans had to change, my husband (not being a cake person) ate more cake than I ever saw him eat and my daughter agreed to take the chance. Her theme was Winter Wonderland and colors light blue, silver and white and I'll admit I was a bit nervous since my gut was to tell Miss Beverly to just do what she felt was best, what she did in return had all my guests talking, the cake was AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL and everyone kept asking me for information on the person who made the cake, never have we tasted a icing so creamy and wonderful (We ordered the cake and cupcakes) Miss Beverly offers many different flavors (my favorite is pumpkin) and she puts everything into her cakes. Not only do i recommend her but she will be making ALL my event cakes, she's wonderful to work with, flexible and her prices are unbeatable (I've already compared her to everyone in my area). Thank you Sugar Dusted Bakers for EXCEEDING my daughters expectations with a gorgeous and delicious cake! -

I honestly just gave her a picture of the flowers for our centerpieces, and she handmade flowers to match for on top of the cake. It exceeded my expectations and was delicious! Seriously was my dream cake

Delicious cake!
Our cake wasn’t exactly what we had discussed. The colors on the flowers were off. They were Supposed to be dark red and burnt orange. We discussed burlap and lace and we got a ribbon and lace which had red icing visibly on it. We asked to have textured icing like lines going around and it was plain and flat. No boxes were left to put any leftovers in which was a hassle. Even though there are some things I wasn’t happy with Overall the taste of cake and cupcakes was amazing and the peanut butter icing is to die for!! Value is also very good just wish it was what I had discussed. -
