We had a great experience working with Sugar Beats. From the very beginning, communication was great, they were quick to reply to emails and kept everything organized.
On the wedding day, the cake looked beautiful and was exactly what we had discussed. It tasted amazing and tasted just like the tasting. We had a few different tiers, but the strawberry flavor was the clear winner for us. It was fresh and not too sweet. Overall, they were a reliable vendor that delivered a great product. -

Our wedding cake was absolutely stunning — truly a work of art and worth every penny. The design perfectly captured our boho glam theme, with rich tones, gold detailing, and a gorgeous floral arrangement that made it feel like a centerpiece of the evening.
But it wasn’t just beautiful — it tasted amazing! Every layer was moist, flavorful, and as thoughtful in flavor as it was in design. Guests are still talking about it!
Highly recommend for anyone who wants a cake that’s both elegant and delicious.

Made exactly the wedding cake we wanted. Our guests loved each flavor especially the Red Velvet! The traditional wedding cake and the marble with buttercream icing all three flavors & layers were a hit!
The detail was beautiful and we were very pleased with every flavor. -

Absolutely amazing
Did such a good job on our cake. Absolutely delicious and couldn’t get enough of it. She accidentally messed it up but partly our fault because we asked her to change it and she refunded what was wrong she messed up but still absolutely DELICIOUS!!! I recommend her to anyone who ask for cake! -

We cannot recommend Sugar Beats Bakeshop enough--we absolutely loved our wedding cake and Ashley made the process so fun and easy! If you work with her for your wedding or other event you'll be in the best hands possible. From our cake tasting, to the design, the flavors, and the other dessert options to offer, Ashley offered great advice at every step of the way, and her advice was right on. We weren't sure how much cake our group would need, and she gently advised us that we could probably get away with a little less (I think we ended up doing a cake that yielded 130 slices instead of 154, which was perfect--we had maybe 10-12 pieces left, which our family happily ate in the day or two after the wedding). We also needed help figuring out what we wanted the cake for our New Year's Eve wedding to look like, and she came up with a beautiful design of different textures of buttercream with fun accents--gold spheres and flowers and feathers!--that we would never have dreamed up but absolutely loved! Thank you for everything, Ashley!!! -

My now husband, my in-laws, and I met with Ashley to do a tasting and place our order early in 2024. The day of, Ashley dropped off cake and cupcakes herself and set the dessert table beautifully. Everyone loved the cupcakes and the cutting cake was beautiful. The variety of flavors also gave our guests the ability to choose what they wanted. Ashley was wonderful to work with and her dedication shows in the final product. I would easily recommend her to anyone looking for great cakes in the area. -

Ashley is incredible! She went above and beyond for our special day! The cake and cupcakes were so beautiful. She made everything perfect! Sugar beats bake shop is the place to get anything you could possibly think. She showed up on time and the table was perfect. Can't say enough good things about Ashley and Sugar Beats Bake Shop! We had Ashley bake our wedding cake and cupcakes and they were beautiful and absolutely delicious! She created exactly what we had talked about at our tasting. She has such an amazing selection of flavors and cake stands to fit any color scheme and vision. We were able to order our custom cake topper as well and not have to worry about that separately! I have had so many guests comment on how great the cupcakes were and ask for her info to use her themselves! We will definitely be using her for our dessert needs in the future! We had the best experience and would 10/10 recommend to anyone considering ordering from her for any event!! -

We absolutely loved our wedding cake from Sugar Beats! Ashley was so reliable and kind from our tasting to our big day. Beautiful (and delicious) cake, excellent service
Sugar Beats did the cake and some mini cupcakes for our wedding. The whole process was smooth and could not have gone any better. From the cake tasting and consultation to them delivering and setting up at our venue it was an absolute pleasure to work with them. I was a little stressed out planning the wedding but Sugar Beats made the cake one of the least my worries because they had it all handled. We went with the white almond flavor and I’m not exaggerating when I say it is the best tasting cake I have ever had. We are very much looking forward to having it again at our anniversary! -

First, the in person tasting we did was so delicious and fun! Ashley was always on top of keeping good communication up until the wedding day and had no issue making changes to our cake size just days before the big day to accommodate our larger than expected guest list. Beautiful and Delicious!
Everything about our wedding cake was perfect! Not only was it delicious, it looked amazing as well. Ashley did a great job and we are forever thankful. Her cake and icing recipes are great and she provided the beautiful wood cake stand and even made our topper for us customized with our two dogs. I’m at a loss for words for how truly spectacular our wedding cake and cupcakes turned out!! Ashley was not only an affordable option, but also brought organization, insight, creativity, and tastiness to our event! We started with a taste test to see if we liked her various flavors, and then had the extremely difficult (but best problem to have) of figuring out which ones we were going to go with- they were all SO GOOD!!! She decorated our cake exactly like the inspiration photos, with some added flair of real flowers from our florist to match the decor. She has options to provide stands as well, and delivered everything on time. I can’t tell you how many guests we had that told us the cake and cupcakes were the best they’d ever had at a wedding! Extremely happy we chose Ashley and if you choose her you won’t be disappointed!!

Ashley was super easy to work with and her cake is yummy!! We had three different flavors of cake and our guests loved the variety! We ended up with just a tiny portion of our bottom layer left so I am pretty sure our guests even went back for a second piece! When we went to our tasting we had such a hard time figuring out what design we wanted because all of her past designs (in her design books) were so pretty. She also made us a custom cake topped that we loved! -

Can't say enough great things about Ashley!! She is so kind and amazing at what she does. Her cakes are delicious and beautiful. She can pretty much create anything you can dream up and has loads of books with past cakes she has created for inspiration. For our wedding day, she baked us a a three tier semi-naked white almond cake and a Boston Red Sox marble chocolate/vanilla groom's cake for my husband. They both looked and tasted great and our guests literally ate every piece! On top of that, we also ordered a bunch of Krispy Kreme donuts and she set up and organized them all for us the day of the wedding. Ashley is awesome and a great choice for your big day's sweet treats! She is also super affordable compared to similar bake shops. -
