In love with my wedding photos
Miranda is an amazing photographer and amazing person to work with. I have nothing but great things to say about working with her. I chose her because her photos are beautiful and capture moments instead of poses. She makes you feel very comfortable even if you feel like you're awkward in front of a camera! We hired her for our engagement shoot and our wedding, and so many people complimented that the photographer was never in the way on the dance floor or during the ceremony, but we have soo many gorgeous photos from the ceremony and incredible shots from the dance floor! When we got engaged I told my husband that there was only one photographer I wanted to work with and that was Miranda. She is absolutely worth every penny and made the process from beginning to end stress free! Thank you Miranda -

Amazing experience from start to end
I have been looking forward to my shoot with Miranda since before we got engaged! I knew I wanted Miranda to photograph our engagement photos because I love the whimsical feel to her photos. When I look at her work I always feel like I'm not looking at a picture, I'm looking at an actual moment in time. She captures emotions and personality so well! The best there is
Straight to the point: if you want literally everyone to talk about your photos and how amazing they are, BOOK HER NOW. If you need more details: I cannot say enough amazing things about Miranda (and neither can anyone who sees our photos!). Even my other vendors were crazy about her work and some wanted to hire her for themselves! Everyone who sees our pictures asks about the photographer. I don’t even know where to begin. Perhaps by stating that I looked at HUNDREDS (no, that is not an exaggeration) of photographers in the entire tristate area plus California before picking my wedding photographer. I went through tens of thousands of photos and didn’t stop until I found perfection. Miranda is that perfection. I am the most type A person many of my vendors have ever worked with so trust me when I say she is the best!
Whether you’ve never been in front of the camera before (us) or if you’re a frequent subject of the lens, she will capture you in the most spectacularly flattering, natural, and beautiful way. She gave us prompts that made us look super natural, not staged, and totally at ease and comfortable. The result? Photography that you can literally FEEL the emotion of. Which was so important to me. She is a master of truly candid photography as well as staged candids that look completely natural.
Miranda can capture any style of photography you want from fine art, to lots of light, to dark and moody and all look flawless. There’s no style she does better than another, she is equally amazing at all of them. Just tell her what you like, show her some inspiration pictures of the types of photography you admire, and she will deliver more stunning photos than you could have dreamed. You may THINK you want that super cute photo you saw on Pinterest, and she will do it for you, BUT let her have creative freedom and she will deliver photos from that piece of inspiration that are beautiful beyond what you could have possibly imagined. As a type-A person, I have a hard time giving up control to anyone. After seeing her sneak peeks from the first shoot we did with miranda, I was confident that I could let go of the reins and let her do her thing. She heard and listened to everything I wanted and put her own creativity on it to make it absolute magic.
Aside from her photography skills, Miranda is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She exudes positive energy and you just can’t help but want to be around her. She is so easy going and wonderful to work with, and was there for me throughout the entire year and a half wedding process. I frequently texted her for advice on colors, staging, and other random wedding things and she was more than happy to offer her opinions and help me out! I felt soooo supported by her as a vendor AND person. I cannot wait to hire her again for everything in my life worth capturing from here on out.
My other piece of advice is to do an engagement shoot. REALLY PLEASE DO IT. There is no replacement for getting that one on one time with your photographer to get a feel for working together and building the relationship. I promise you it will make your wedding day that much more successful from a photography perspective. -

Your Fairy Godmother Photographer
Miranda is the most talented photographer and an all around wonderful person!! When I was deciding between photographers, my sister asked who I would feel more comfortable having around on my wedding day and that was when I knew Suess Moments was the right photographer for us, and she was so right!! Miranda hyped me up and made me laugh and feel beautiful during my portraits, and she absorbed all the stress out of dealing with our families so we didn't have to feel it on our wedding day.
We also got our 'sneak peek' that weekend. I don't know how she managed to get us a good amount of photos perfectly edited in less than 2 days but she did!! If you are into her magical, romantic style, then run, don't walk, to book her services!Suess Moments's reply:

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!! Miranda is by far the best photographer. She is so bubbly and makes everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera! She will literally tell you how to pose, where to stand, where to look, she does it all!!!!!! She gets the trendy and fun photos, but also the traditional photos. She is so talented and creative. She sent us 250 photos for a SNEAK PEAK!!!! ‘Most photographers sent maybe 20 for a sneak peak, and she sent them only 48 hours later!!!!!! Insane turn around and amazing quality work. Miranda created the entire timeline for my wedding starting when hair and makeup needed to start, she included 5-10 minutes extra to ensure we stayed on time. I didn’t feel a single ounce of stress because I knew she had it under control. I wound up having an extra 45 mins before the ceremony to just relax! She even took the time to do individual portraits for my bridesmaids!!!! I simply cannot say enough about Miranda. We are truly so grateful for her because our dream wedding turned out to well because of her and now we have amazing photos to remember! -

Cannot recommend enough
We cannot possibly say enough good things about Miranda’s quality, professionalism, and care. From day zero, Miranda got to work for us, completing tasks (such as doing her homework on our wedding theme and putting together a mood board) before our contract was even signed. We had a very specific view of how we wanted our wedding to be, evoking an old 1930’s Hollywood vintage. Because of this, we had very specific requests involving symmetry and lighting that would have required a very specific technique, and Miranda went out of her way to make it happen. She paid the utmost attention and care to all of our requests, giving us photos evoking a glamour and style that you would swear were taken in the era. She gave us exactly what we asked for.
As for the actual wedding, she is just the person you’d want being around you during your special day. She’s professional, competent, and organized. She’s also so much fun you’ll want to be friends with her. Honestly, she’s the best of the best, and we would hire her again in a heartbeat.Suess Moments's reply:

Just had my engagement photos yesterday with Suess Moments and honestly WOW. Miranda is always available if I had any questions, outfit advice or as a hype woman. I have the worst anxiety and not once during this photoshoot did I ever feel uncomfortable. She had this entire set up! Roses, candles, wine glasses, cookies, blanket! Anything you name it! She went with the colors/ theme of my wedding and these photos are just my sneak peak I cannot wait for the rest. Please if you are looking for a photographer she is IT. -

Best money we spent on our mini-wedding!
Miranda is absolutely the best money we spent on our mini-wedding! Miranda went above and beyond to ensure she captured every moment that was special to us. She took the time to have multiple phone consultations with us and had me send wedding pictures I liked so she could create a mood board. She edited our photos exactly how I asked her to - naturally. My husband doesn't love getting his picture taken, however Miranda knew exactly what to say to coach him through pictures. She was also great at working with children - we had 6 nieces and nephews and she was patient with all of them! All of guests commented on how un-obtrusive she was during the wedding & reception - you wouldn't even know she was there, yet she captured EVERYTHING!! I cannot stress to you enough that you should absolutely hire her! We absolutely love our pictures and are so happy she captured our special day!! -

When figuring out our wedding budget, we both knew that the photographer was the #1 priority for us and said so to our phenomenal wedding planner (EventsbyJesse). We wanted a photographer whose photos bursted with life and felt like a disney movie, so that when we looked at any photo for our big day we would instantly be brought back with just a glance. After the first meeting with Miranda, we both said we are in love and need her to be part of our special day.
We asked Miranda to do both our engagement photos and wedding photos, we felt taken care of every step of the way. Miranda is incredibly organized and detail oriented with a clear timeline ensuring all you have to do is have fun. She takes time to get to know you. My partner and I are self conscious with our looks and Miranda creates an environment that brings out all the best sides of you in the photo. During the wedding day it can get stressful quickly but having Miranda with us felt like having a friend you’ve known for years by your side. We had an ambitious wedding plan with 3 outfit changes to represent different aspects of our cultures and Miranda’s execution was flawless.
In talking with people who’ve had their wedding day, the #1 regret we’ve heard from most people is that they should have invested more in photography. Don’t let this happen to you! Truly just knowing Miranda will make your life better. We love Miranda and want her to be a part of all of our special moments! Her talent truly shows in her incredible portfolio. She made me feel like the most beautiful bride and captured images I didn't even know I was capable of taking. She is incredibly sweet and makes you feel so comfortable, my groom loved her as well and never got tired of taking pictures!
If you go with Suess Moments, you wouldn't just get a wonderful wedding photographer, but a real gem. I plan to use Miranda for the rest of my photography needs and I cannot imagine having anyone better who will be there for the greatest milestones of my life! Thank you Suess Moments! -

I don’t even know how to describe Miranda’s talent, and professionalism. Booking Miranda as our wedding photographer was the single best decision my husband and I decided to do. She was with us every step of the way making sure she understood our vision and gave us the most detailed and organized wedding timeline to ensure we got all our getting ready photos, family photos and action shots. Not only is she insanely talented but she is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. By the end of our wedding she felt more like a friend than anything else. I can’t wait to see all our beautiful photos but know from what we have seen so far that we will be absolutely blown away. Her work is impecable! She is professional, organized, detailed, kind and makes you feel like she’s not just your photographer but your friend. For our 2nd Anniversary photo shoot, we hired Miranda Suess of Suess Moments Photography, whom we used for our free Engagement shoot. I used her again for our anniversary shoot. She got our sneak peaks back to us in less than 24 hours and a couple weeks later, the rest. She is very easy to work with and good communication. My wedding was made complete all because of Miranda! She has a born-given, natural talent for capturing the most precious moments. When I show people my wedding photos they say "those look like they could be in Vogue magazine!" Not only is she talented at taking photos, but also super friendly and personable! She cares so incredibly much about her clients and that was evident from the very beginning with our consultation. She cares about all the little details like the story of how you met, important family traditions, pets you might have, and all the others! All of the little things that mattered to us she incorporated into our photos. Miranda also captured my bridal shower and our engagement shoot, and I can only wish that she will capture all of the special moments that life brings us ahead. Miranda did an engagement shoot for my fiance and me in Central Park, where we got engaged. Firstly her work is amazing. She has so much attention to detail and lighting. Words cannot describe her photos, so I have attached some. She is also great to work with. Gives simple instructions to help keep things natural, but poses turned out lovely. She is simply a pleasure to work with with a great personality, and is very flexible on scheduling, rescheduling, and also showed up 30 minutes early. Highly recommend! -

We would highly, highly recommend hiring Miranda to do your wedding photos. Not only did the photos turn out totally beautiful, she also helped so much with the actual planning process & is extremely organized. Neither my husband or I particularly love being photographed but she made us both feel relatively as ease & actually had a good time during the portrait shots & getting ready shots. We also hired our videographer from her recommended vendor list & while we still haven't seen his finished product yet, we loved him too & you could tell the two had worked together before & had a really solid flow going on. This woman really, really loves her job & takes the work seriously but also helped to keep us calm on the big day. Really can't say enough good things. Excellent communication. Went above & beyond. An all around delight to work with! We're so thankful we found her! -

My husband and I highly recommend Miranda Suess as your next photographer. She traveled from Brooklyn, NY to the Albany, NY area to capture our wedding day. She had such a unique ability to capture the small, wonderful moments that we are so thrilled to be able to treasure forever. Miranda took the time to get to know us before our wedding day by meeting us on Skype. She went above and beyond to make sure that every single shot we were interested in having for our wedding day was captured. She was organized, ready, and prepared, and kept the bridal party and family photos running smoothly and quickly so that we were able to spend time enjoying our day! Miranda also used her creativity and talents to capture some amazing “golden hour” photos, even though there was not a sunset due to the overcast weather. Miranda was so talented and professional, especially when capturing candid moments, and throughout the ceremony, we didn’t even know she was there taking pictures, but she was able to capture the moment perfectly! We were beyond excited to view some pictures and she was able to send us some sneak peaks (about 30 pictures) the day after our wedding that were edited and so professional! We then received the rest of our photos less than 2 weeks after our wedding day, and we absolutely LOVE them. For anyone who is looking for a professional, creative, fun, and just lovely human being to capture an important event in their life, we urge you to use Miranda Suess as your photographer!!! WE LOVE YOU MIRANDA SUESS!!!! -

Perfect NYC Elopement! (and Engagement Shoot)
Miranda, the photographer behind Suess Moments, did an absolutely wonderful job photographing both our wedding (elopement) ceremony and our engagement shoot. We planned a secret elopement with just a few close friends, and our Chihuahua. Since it was going to be small, our only vendors were a photographer and videographer, so we did a lot of research before selecting Miranda. She completely exceeded our expectations.
We knew where we wanted our ceremony, but we were still new to New York City. Miranda really went above and beyond to help us choose locations for our group and couple photos, and she helped us work out our timeline. She knew all of the hidden gems around DUMBO, and we had a blast exploring our neighborhood. Our evening schedule was perfectly timed with golden hour and the sunset with the city in the background. As someone who is generally uncomfortable getting their photo taken, Miranda had us relaxed and laughing the whole time. She really excels at getting the candid shots that happen in between "formal photos." Not only did she help us relax and have fun, but she really captured the essence of that day. I look at the photos now, and I can remember exactly what that moment was like. She did such a great job capturing the goofiness of my husband and his friends. Plus the moments with us and our dog are just perfect. Miranda got every crazy, adorable, face that our dog makes, and her little puppy dress!
Both times working with Miranda, (engagement and elopement) we received sneak peaks within a day. We actually received our full library of Elopement photos within ten days of the ceremony. As you can probably guess, they were perfect. Everything was edited in a way that completely matches our style, and there was a great blend of shots. Group, individual, pet, black and white, moody, formal, candid. We even had a few magical long exposure shots that are stunning. We absolutely recommend Suess Moments for all of your wedding photography needs. Not only will you get great shots, you will have a great time.Suess Moments's reply:

Miranda's level of professionalism and her commitment to making sure that my fiancé and I would be happy with our photos exceeded all expectations. She was SO responsive and accommodating when scheduling our shoot and confirming all of our details to ensure that we were on the same page. Suess Moments also allowed us to bring our 8 month old Airedale Terrier puppy to the shoot and take photos with him, as he is just so important to Matt and I. Miranda went above and beyond in making sure that our shoot was dynamic, by bringing props and additional lighting with her that we never would have even thought to bring! She brought beautiful string lights which we used in some of our photos, which incorporated a level of uniqueness that we could have only hoped to reach. Matt and I felt immediately comfortable with Miranda due to her welcoming personality and her eagerness to work with us, which directly resulted in her ability to capture moments that were not stiff or staged at all. Suess Moments was a true serendipity for Matt and I - we are so lucky to have come across such a skilled photographer in such a big city. We are so grateful and we will 100% be reaching out to Suess Moments to capture all of our future milestones.
