This is a very long overdue review, but Julie is the absolute sweetest and was a gem to work with throughout my wedding planning timeline and on my wedding day! She was extremely responsive and helpful with questions when I was searching for a hair stylist. I would highly recommend booking a hair trial day with her as well - I had a few ideas and she was able to bring them all together to make the perfect look ! On the day of my wedding, Julie and her assistant were extremely efficient taking care of 8 people including myself. They brought a great energy to the bridal suite and I could see that my wedding party really enjoyed talking with them while they were getting their hair done :) I absolutely loved my hair and couldn’t have asked for a better team. Thank you Julie! -

Not only is Julie’s work amazing she is such a kind, fun, calming presence to have on your wedding day. I had a large party about 12 girls getting their hair done in a short window of 9-12:30. Her and her team managed to finish everyone by even 12:15. Everyone absolutely loved their hair and it came out exactly how they envisioned if not even better. She stayed around for touch ups and was even kind enough to help some girls who did their own hair. She left me and my girls with a little emergency kit for further touch ups through the night and some tips on how to fix any mishaps. Everyone’s hair stayed all night long and everyone got compliments. Cannot recommend her enough! -

With no extensions and my naturally thick hair, she crafted the most stunning hairstyle that pulled my entire look together perfectly. Those waves held strong for over 12 hours, even through three hours of nonstop dancing! My hair is my favorite feature, and Julie made it truly shine. -

Julie was so great! She did amazing with everyone’s hair and mine. Also my wedding day was like 90 degrees with crazy humidity and somehow my curled hair stayed through all that and continued to stay curled into the next day until I washed it. -

Working with Julie was so fantastic! She was a preferred vendor at my venue David’s Country Inn and once I saw her work when looking at David’s look books and her Instagram I knew I needed to book Julie! I had a style in mind, which was very boho, but I knew my dress didn’t match that style, so I consulted with Julie and we switched my hair style. Then I changed it a few more times before my trial. At my trial I decided I wanted fluffy glam waves, and the trial was so great. Julie was so personable and caring! I felt so comfortable with her and her space is so cozy! I absolutely loved my hair trial, but after much consideration, i felt like the style didn’t match my personality, even though it was beautiful! Panic started to set in maybe a month before the wedding and I ended up totally switching the hair style. Julie was there for me every step of the way through my panic and was always comforting and reassuring.
The day of Julie was a rockstar! She was there ready to go when we arrived and kept on schedule with time to spare. Everyone loved their hair styles and lasted all night long. I mean, my hair was flawless!! She event left little goodies behind and instructions on fluffing/touching up throughout the day. Julie was incredible and I can’t recommend her enough! -

Julie is incredible!
I could go on forever about Julie/Styles on Location….From the start, she was so responsive and helpful with every question I had. As soon as I had my trial, I knew that I made the right decision. She listens to all of your wants and really goes through the process with you to explain how she can make your dream a reality. She was so patient with me that day that she let me try 3 different styles (and was soo nice about it) because I couldn’t make up my mind. She even did trials with my Mother In Law! Julie is the sweetest and becomes a friend rather than a vendor. On the day of my wedding, she helped me, my bridesmaids, and the moms achieve hair dreams. Even when we were running behind for the first look because I thought I lost some of my jewelry, Julie calmed everyone down and kept us on track. She even helped me with a bracelet malfunction! She’s just phenomenal and knows exactly what she’s doing. I can’t recommend her enough! -

Julie is the absolute best! I had a bridal party of 9 and she killed it with all of our hair. It was the best all of us have ever looked. My curls usually fall out in about 10 minutes - wedding day they did not moved from 8am until well into the next day. My hair was flawless - I couldn't have chosen a better person to handle our crazy heads for the day. -

Julie went above and beyond my expectations! Everyone she styled looked amazing and I am still getting compliments from my bridesmaids because of how amazing their hair turned out. Julie is a magician. I’m telling you my hairstyle didn’t just last the night, it lasted for 2 days after the wedding. Not all of my girls knew what they wanted going into the day but she was great with working with them to figure out what they would like and making everyone look so polished. She stayed after everything was done just to make sure we’d still be good to go after we got dressed and was such a perfectionist. -

Julie was so amazing throughout my entire wedding planning process. She did my hair for my engagement shoot, trial, wedding day, and I will absolutely be hiring her in the future.
She was so patient with me constantly changing my mind, and was super responsive with any questions I had. My hair came out exactly as I imagined, and she was able to make it hold for the entire day.
My bridal party of 7 (with all different hair textures) did a variety of different styles and Julie and her assistant executed everyone’s hair perfectly. They even fixed my moms hair after she left a different salon and it immediately fell. So kind!!

Working with Julie for my wedding was amazing! She was able to travel to my parent's house so both my mom and I could get hair trials ahead of the big day! On the day of the wedding, everyone commented about how amazing their hair was and how efficient Julie was, making sure we weren't late for anything! She styled my hair beautifully and was super helpful making sure all my concerns about my hairstyle staying in place were taken care of! She stayed to do last-minute touch-ups for everyone to make sure everyone looked their best. I highly recommend working with Julie to make sure you and your whole party look incredible for your big day! -

Styles on Location was the perfect hair team to tackle my large wedding party! I absolutely loved working with Julie from the time we booked a few years ago, to delaying our wedding a year, to finally getting a trial date set (3rd time was the charm!), to the morning of my wedding. Julie was organized and easy to work with throughout the entire process. When we met for my trial, I showed her some photos and she was happy to try out a few options to help my thin hair look more full and voluminous. Julie recommended a hairpiece that I ended up purchasing and absolutely loving, as I did not do a veil. Julie provided advice and some products to texturize my hair and provided me with all of the necessary materials that I needed. As someone who has been in a few other weddings and ended up with random up-charges throughout this process, I really appreciated how flexible Julie was and that she included whatever was necessary that day. Julie and her assistant had no problem doing all 8 of my bridesmaids’ hair, as well as my mom, mother-in-law, and my grandma (who looked AMAZING and was so, so happy with her hair!). She even lingered for a while while we started taking photos to add some additional spray and do touch-ups, which was so thoughtful and kind. If you are looking for a hairstylist for your wedding, look no further! Julie is the BEST! -

amazing experience
Julie did my hair for my 7/17/21 wedding and she did an amazing job! She was quick to respond to all my questions and so patient with me while having to postpone my wedding a year. Despite it being one of the hottest days of the year, my hair stayed the whole night! Her and Rene did my large my bridal party in the perfect amount of time and everyone loved their styles! Julie is a responsive, fun, and talented hairstylist. She knows how to keep the conversation going and make you feel comfortable. During my trial I was unsure about the style I wanted for my wedding. Julie provided her expertise and was also receptive to feedback. On the day of the wedding Julie was able to master the 7 different hairstyles in a timely matter. Our hair looked AMANZING!!!!! At the end of the night, everyone's hair still looked like they just had it done even after dancing :) -

Julie is fantastic!
Just WOW! Julie was one of my favorite vendors. First of all, she spent nearly 3 hours with me on trial day because i'm so indecisive and i loved every style we tried. On the wedding day she came with Rene (who was also amazing) and the two of them did 11 women's hair. When I say everyone LOVED their hair I mean EVERYONE. Julie perfected my hair the day of the wedding and it looked even better than on the day of the trial. She listened to the subtle changes I wanted and made me feel so beautiful. Julie even stayed until we all got dressed to touch up not just mine, but everyone's hair to ensure each of my bridal party felt perfect. She was also so much fun on the day of and helped keep the morning stress free! BOOK JULIE YOU WILL LOVE HER! -

Julie Is the BEST!!!
Julie is AMAZING!!! I am so, so so happy I found her on Instagram and met with her. She is such a sweet, easygoing and caring person. She made me feel at ease during my wedding day, and she did the impossible--she made my limp, flat head of hair look voluminous and made it not lose its curl and stay put. Julie is a wizard with the bobby pins and the hairspray. Have no fear--she's not kidding around. Your hair-do will last the entire day, and probably the rest of the week if you really wanted it to LOL. Julie was able to take my vision and bring it to life! She also helped assemble my little floral clip in the back of my hair. I can't thank Julie enough for all she did, and for all the help she gave my bridesmaids/mom when she did their hair as well. Everyone looked so beautiful and I am in such gratitude. -

Julie was so fun to have getting ready with us on my wedding day. I was really impressed with how everyone's hair held up throughout the day (we started getting ready at 8am). Julie took so much extra time to make sure my hair was perfect and showed my bridesmaids how to gently pick up my hair piece to remove my veil for the reception. -

Julie was truly amazing in every way!! I was one of 7 bridesmaids along with my sister, the bride. I LOVED my hair. She did such a fabulous job. The Best!!!
I'm so incredibly happy I chose Julie to do my hair and my bridal party for our wedding day! Julie arrived early and even gave me the sweetest bag with bobby pins and other bridal necessities for the day. Everyone was so happy with their hair and she finished early with so many of us. She didn't stop touching us up until we had to take photos... we loved her! She made my vision come to life and I absolutely loved it!!! Julie was recommended to me by my MUA McKenna and I'm so glad she was! She mastered my "mermaid" wedding hair and was extremely professional and sweet. I am very picky and she never once made me feel bad about asking her to fix a curl, move a pin, etc. Prior to my wedding we also had not one, but TWO trial sessions because I was indecisive on what I wanted and it was only through her recommendations and "eye" that I believe we came up with "the look". I honestly do not believe I would have been this happy with any other stylist. Thanks, Julie! -

Julie and Rene aren't just outstanding hairstylists, but HUMANS as well. I was an absolute wreck on my wedding day. They treated me as if I was their own daughter and made me feel comfortable and beautiful. I had my trial with Julie and Rene in the height of COVID-19. Their professionalism and eagerness to move mountains for you is unlike anything I’ve seen in this industry. It rained on my big day and I decided to say “screw it” and take all my pictures in the rain. Please believe me when I tell you me and my girls’ hair DID NOT BUDGE. (Picture attached was taken in the rain). My experience with these girls was flawless despite all the changes we had to make because of Covid and I would recommend them again and again. -

I hired Julie and Rene for my bridesmaids (I had ten!) And mother in law. They got all of my bridesmaids done in time For photos and with time for touch ups!! Everyone LOVED their hair! I had my own hair stylist however My headpiece broke and Julie grabbed her sewing kit and fixed it! She saved the day ! I love them and would hire them a million times over again. Not only are the professional, they are flexible and kind. They’re talent is also unmatched. -

I found Julie through another vendor she works often with, and I am so glad I did. Julie was very easy to work with and is extremely talented with hair. I did my trial with Julie about 2 months out before the wedding along with my makeup vendor, Samantha Linn. They work together often and occasionally can trial together if their schedules permits, which I thought was a huge perk. I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted for my hair so at the trial I showed her a few photos I liked and she put together two ideas for me - 1 half down with a braid, another was an updo with a braid. She was kind enough to squeeze in both for my trial and take a TON of photos for me so I could look back on the two and decide which one I wanted to go with on the day of the wedding. I was pretty in love with the half down styling, so that’s the one we went with for the wedding. Julie showed up early the day of and was ready to go as soon as everyone arrived. She also was able to work with a flower crown from my florist for my and my flower girls’ hair - she secured it SO well to my head and wanted to make sure there was no way that thing was going to move around so we could really have a good time through the day and dance through out the night - let me tell you, that thing did not move one bit! I probably could have slept in with it and worn it for days if I wanted to. Besides being great at hair, Julie was a super awesome person to hang out with all morning and everyone felt really comfortable with her. I feel so lucky to have her on my wedding day, and highly recommend her to everyone. -

Best Hairstylist and Addition to my Pre-Wedding Team
Julie did the hair styles for my maid of honor, mother, flower girl and myself on my wedding day and all four of us were beyond pleased with the outcome. Julie felt like a part of my family as we were getting ready the morning of. She was so calming and quick with the styles yet the quality was impeccable. I'm so happy I chose Julie who also recommended my makeup artist McKenna whom I was equally pleased with and they got along so great. Thanks again Julie for the work you did and for treating me like I was a family member. I'd highly recommend her to anyone because she is an absolute professional whose so experienced with what she does. -

I changed my mind last minute on my wedding day and gave her a few random pictures to show what I was going for. she NAILED it! literally every fable guest asked about my hair and took pictures of it! She is sweet and goes with what is thrown at her. Easy to work with and pricing is typical.

I am so glad that I hired Julie as the hair stylist for my wedding! I looked and felt beautiful, and all of my ladies said the same!
Julie was wonderful to work with from start to finish. She was super flexible about scheduling the trial, and as soon as I arrived, I felt like we were on the same page. She helped to interpret my rambling thoughts into a gorgeous look, and answered every question and made every adjustment that I asked.
She is also a lovely person, and she was a wonderful and calming presence to have in the bridal room on the big day. -

Amanda Sent on 02/24/2018Julie was a dream to work with! She did my hair as well as the bridal party and the mother of bride and groom. She arrived very promptly and made sure everyone's hair was perfect and they were pleased with the results. Our photographer even gave them praise for how well they (she works with MUA Samantha Linn) managed time! Our hair stayed throughout the day without any problems or falling out. I couldn't have been happier! We even changed what we were going to do from the trial and it worked out amazingly. Thank you again! I would recommend her to everyone!

My bridesmaids all looked stunning, too! If somebody wanted to tweak something Julie was 100% accommodating. She even stayed for a bit after she had finished and we started taking pictures to make sure everybody's hair stayed the way we wanted it and nothing fell out of place. The icing on the cake is that she came to us! I can't say enough great things about Julie. You will absolutely make the right decision if you choose her for your wedding day!

When I trialed with Julie, I showed her a few pictures of my ideas and she perfected the look that I wanted pretty instantly. During the planning process, she was so easy to get in touch with and helped plan the timeline of the morning so that everyone would be done in time. On the day of, she and Renee hustled to get all of the girls and moms finished -- there were quite a few of us, but they pulled it off! Everyone looked amazing, felt completely satisfied with their chosen styles, and now that the pictures are coming back, look absolutely stunning in them. Thank you for making us look our absolute best on the big day!
