We love Kat!! She use to take my dance pictures from a young girl up and then took my coulples shoot, engagement and wedding!!!! She’s so nice and flexible and easy to work with! I love her photos also! She never fails to amaze me and does once again such an amazing job!!!
It was absolutely Amazing very positive attitude and very understanding and knowing of what I wanted and excepted!! She even met with me to get coffe just to make sure she knew everything I wanted!! The price was definitely worth the photos!! She offers so many diff packages that I’m sure everyone will have at least one package that works with their budget! -

Kat is so amazing to work with! I met her as a preferred vendor at the wedding venues that I have worked with and I knew I needed her bubbly personality to be part of my special day (now days because I use her for EVERYTHING! Engagement session, wedding, Christmas cards!!), She keeps you on task but is super flexible at the same time! She really listens to what you want and delivers every time. My engagement and wedding photos were almost complete opposite styles and she nailed them both. One was a twilight hour sunset session and the other was a bright and sunny afternoon. I can't recommend Kat enough! -

From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, Kat made everything run so smoothly and perfectly and we could not recommend her enough!!
We live in Ohio but had our wedding in Pittsburgh. Kat was so accommodating with us living far away throughout the whole planning process. She traveled to Ohio to the place we got engaged to take our engagement photos, and was willing to plan everything through phone and texting whenever we had questions! She planned a timeline for us that allowed for flexibility and accommodated everything we wanted to fit in on our special day! On wedding day, she was our right-hand girl for our timeline and even navigated changes with all the vendors when we had to move our ceremony inside due to the rain. I was really starting to stress about the rain and Kat helped me through everything and made sure we still had time to take the most beautiful pictures - both in the rain and sunshine!! I literally cannot thank Kat enough for making our wedding day so special and memorable. I cannot believe how she was able to capture our day in such a way that I am able to relive the day every time I look at the photos. Every emotion, family member, and detail is captured beautifully in our album. Kat is worth every single penny and I would hire her again in a heartbeat if I had to do it all over! -

From our very early stages of working with Kat during our engagement photos, she made us feel so comfortable while shooting with her. She understood our vision and really allowed our personalities to naturally shine through in every image she captured. For our wedding day, she was extremely professional, and stayed positive, patient and calm throughout our special day. She made sure to capture all of those unique moments and did a great job of blending in with such a hectic day to make you feel like you were the most important and her top priority. Kat and her assistant photographer captured every detail of our day perfectly!! She was very knowledgeable about the best lighting and both individual and group poses. Our pictures turned out so beautiful (all 1200+ of them!). The turn around time was around 6 weeks for a full gallery, which isn’t bad for peak wedding season. Highly recommended if you want a kind, down to earth, and knowledgeable photographer! -

Kat is everything you could ever want in a photographer. She has done our photos for years and our friends and family love her so it was a total no-brainer when choosing a photographer for our wedding day, even if it meant hauling her all the way to Louisiana. No other considerations were made. I knew the quality would be nothing short of exquisite. She is so flexible and so keen on details. Kat will do anything and everything to make sure you are absolutely thrilled with your photos, which doesn't take much because her work is always flawless. She can blend into the crowd so you don't even know she's there or she can cut up with your guests, all while capturing every moment. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does and it shines in every photograph. She always has an assistant to catch the moments she might miss and in our case, she had Jessica with her who was also a welcome addition - so sweet, so personable, and such a positive spirit. Tens across the board, no notes, nothing but great things to say, always. I wouldn't choose another photographer for anything. -

Absolutely amazing!
I found Kat on Facebook recommendations she was quick to respond and answered all my questions. From morning of my wedding until the end of the night Kat acted like a best friend and did everything she could to make sure my day went perfect. Unfortunately it rained during our outside ceremony but that did not stop her one single bit. She was soaked and covered in glitter (poor girl) sorry! She made sure every shot was perfect and asked my input. I am so happy with my photos and have received tons of compliments! Highly would recommend her for any photos! -

Kat was the photographer for our destination wedding in Colorado, along with an adventure engagement session in Rocky Mountain National Park, and she was nothing short of incredible! Planning a destination wedding has a lot of logistical challenges, but from the very beginning Kat was both extremely organized and adaptable as we navigated the process. Each time we met with her before the wedding, her enthusiasm and sincerity always put us at ease. And she was flexible and accommodating when we did have to make adjustments. She was actively involved with creating our day-of timeline, including collaborating with our other vendors. Her involvement was critical to our big day going so smoothly! When it came to taking pictures, she gave such great direction, yet always made sure we were comfortable. Kat’s creativity, authenticity, love for her craft and professionalism are simply unmatched. We’re so happy we decided to go with her for our wedding and highly recommend her to anyone searching for a destination photographer! -

May ‘23 Wedding
This is your sign to hire StudioKat Photography for your wedding! Right off the bat Kat was accommodating and professional with our initial meeting and offering her suggestions without swaying you towards a certain decision or altering your vision. That professionalism continued leading up to the wedding while also offering a great hype person for your big day! Having Jake there as a set second shooter was key because they work so well together and helped keep a nice flow throughout the day. Kat has perfected the balance between providing structure for the day by keeping us to our time table while adjusting to changes/spontaneity! A few things I was particularly impressed with were the quality of the pictures from shooting in an Orthodox Church (which they had never done before and absolutely crushed it!), being able to capture amazing pictures of my not-so photogenic husband (he will attest to this himself), and how quickly we got sneak peak pics and our full album back!! You hear horror stories about couples not getting pictures back for months on end and with Kat, that is not the case. We could go on about Kat, but suffice it to say you won’t be disappointed in choosing her as your wedding photographer! -

The Best of the Best!
There are not enough words to describe all the reasons that Kat and Jake were the perfect couple to work with. From the first day we met them at a wedding show, we knew they were the ones for us to capture our special day. They were the sweetest couple and very passionate about their work which shows in every picture they take. The communication was effortless and Kat always responded quickly and timely. I had many questions and she never made me feel bad for asking them and was always ready to put my mind at ease. My husband and I have never had professional pictures before and Kat and Jake made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire day. They were friendly with our guests and fit in so much that they seemed like part of the wedding crew! We received our pictures so quickly and they blew us away. I am still in awe over how amazing they all turned out. Not to mention, Kat also created a sneak peek reel which was completely above and beyond our expectations. I am not sure what pictures we will need in the future, but I know when we do, the only place I will go is to StudioKat. 10/10! -

I first heard of StudioKat through friends and I am so glad I did because they are amazing! She did both of our engagement and wedding pictures and I love them all! She is so very sweet and makes getting your pictures taken so much fun! She truly made our wedding day so special and it meant so much to my husband and I. The details she did on our pictures are amazing, she was quick with getting all of the pictures back which was impressive knowing how many pictures we got back! Kat and Jake really made our wedding day (and the days leading up to it) magical. Kat was extremely helpful and tentative whenever I would reach out to her with crazy questions and thoughts about timelines and whatever else I needed to ask her. When the day arrived, I had nothing to worry about. We thought it was going to be awful because the weather was horrible and we were bummed because we were worried we wouldn’t be able to get nice photos. Kat and Jake took charge and made sure not only did they capture the most important moments, but that we got outside to get the photos we wanted at the right time, and that everything ran smoothly. They even took time to help me with my dress, which wasn’t buttoned correctly. They are a fantastic team and we could not have imagined trusting any other photographer to capture our special day. I would get married 100 times just to have them has our photographer team. Did I mention the amount of photos we received was astounding and they were all AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL!! We loved every. single. one. -

Every bride's dream photographer!
I'd been admiring Kat's work for a long long time, so when she had my date available, it was like a dream come true! Kat was extremely professional to work with, and to say she's talented is an understatement! Our photos were back in under two weeks, right in time for the holidays. Nothing was missed, from the solo shots, to the details, to our venue decor, she really made sure to capture the whole day, start to finish. She took hundreds of photos and there's not a single bad one in the bunch! Her editing is simple, classic and romantic! I couldn't recommend her more. Amazing Experience!
Kat was absolutely a pleasure to work with, I'm so glad that we chose her to be our photographer. She was so helpful and flexible from our engagement photos to our wedding (9/4/21), even when we had to reschedule the date. For our engagement photos, she was willing to do two locations so that we were able to include our pets, which make them so meaningful for us! For the wedding, Kat was instrumental in helping with the timeline of the day and working with us, especially as we had to be flexible as some family members couldn't make it at the last minute. Between Kat and Jake, they made us feel comfortable and natural in the poses, and that attention was paid towards the special shots that we wanted. Afterwards, the photos were delivered so quickly, I was extremely impressed with her selection and editing. Overall, both my husband and I would highly recommend Studiokat Photography, and especially Kat for your next event or photoshoot, as we intend to book with them for future family photos! -

No Better Choice Than Studiokat
Absolutely wonderful to work with! Kat took all the stress out of planning our wedding in Pittsburgh as we live in Colorado. She was incredibly responsive to emails, provided suggestions for the timeline and other wedding related things, and was SO efficient when capturing pictures the day of our wedding. She went above and beyond, and even pulled us outside during the sunset for an impromptu sunset picture that is one of our favorites. I highly recommend Studiokat for wedding pictures, and will definitely use her anytime we are back in town - I know our family & friends enjoyed her presence at the wedding as well. Destination weddings can be stressful, especially while try to coordinate with the vendors, but Kat made the experience effortless on our part. Kat and Jake are absolutely amazing!! They are so talented, so kind, and made me feel like everything was always under control on my wedding day! It rained the day of, and I had no backup location planned, but they found us a place to go immediately. I never pictured doing photos indoors, but they were so creative with poses and where to put us, that our pictures turned out even better than I could have imagined! I can't thank them enough for being so sweet and patient with my family as well-- we're a huge, easily distracted group, and they were so understanding and flexible! Perfect and memorable
Kat and Jake were wonderful not only for the engagement session but also the planning before our big day! They have given us the most fun, memorable pictures! Amazing Photographers
We are so happy that we chose Kat to photograph our wedding! We had a pretty fast paced day (2 hours for ceremony and reception) and she didn't miss a moment! Not only do we have gorgeous pictures of us, but she also captured the goofy moments of the day. Great engagement and wedding photos!
Absolutely recommend StudioKat Photography to anyone looking for a wedding photographer! Starting with our engagement photos Kat did an absolutely wonderful job. My husband and I didn’t know where we wanted to get out engagement photos taken, but we wanted somewhere outdoors with a greener feel. Kat immediately recommended Heartwood Acres Manor and the photos turned out wonderful. Kat helped my husband and I feel extremely comfortable. We are not good at taking any photos besides the two of us smiling and Kat gave great suggestions to get so many different good shots!
Then on our wedding photos could not have turned out better! Kat was extremely flexible with us having to change up our venue and extremely punctual. We kept things moving and got some great before shots. Then our wedding party headed to Mt. Washington for photos and they were stunning even with a little rain! I could not recommend Kat more for a wedding photographer, my husband and I couldn’t have been happier!

Kat & Jake drove all the way to Buffalo (from Pittsburgh) to shoot our wedding (and they did it directly after shooting another wedding in Pittsburgh!). They were so patient and caring throughout the day. Kat would often get a straight-on shot while Jake would get an alternative angle (whether from the side or from a higher standpoint) - and this led to some incredible captures. Some of our guests even came up to them for shots of their own throughout the night and they were incredibly accommodating. My wife's favorite part was our reveal in front of the hotel fountain and there were some incredible shots there. In addition, we were able to get a cigar shoot together with my friends & party toward the middle of the night that was also very special to me. -

I cannot describe how perfect working with Kathleen was. She helped me capture two different engagement sessions, both gorgeous! Also, she took the time to capture everything we wanted but more!! She captured all the love shared between my husband and I. Not only did she capture the love, she captured the happiness and joy that was showered on our wedding day. I cannot express my appreciation and gratitude towards Kathleen and her team! Me saying that I recommend her is an understatement! -

We received our photos very quickly after the wedding which was nice. Kat is so talented! Her and Jake were also very nice! I cannot begin to rant and rave about our experience with StudioKat Photography! Kat was one of the easiest vendors I dealt with my entire wedding. She is flexible, accommodating, and has a wonderful energy. The day of our wedding, she arrived around the time that the nerves and reality of getting wed were setting in. Her gentle, sparkling personality put me at ease and I felt like we were taking pictures with an old friend. All of that said, she is equally professional. She follows through with deadlines and provides you with an exceptional product. I cannot wait to get our pictures printed and cover our house with them. She captured the best day of my life in the best way possible! -

Highly recommended wedding photographer!
Kat was our wedding photographer on May 18, 2019 at Foggy Mountain Lodge. She was a recommended vendor from the venue and now we completely understand why! Our package included an engagement and boudoir session along with 8 hours of wedding day coverage. We were beyond pleased with our photographs from each session and felt 100% comfortable each time. I was very nervous for the boudoir session as it was something completely out of my element, but she knew exactly how to make me feel beautiful and calm my nerves. The pictures were PERFECT and made the best wedding gift for my husband. She communicated well from day one and helped us enjoy our special day stress-free. She made sure to complete any requests we had and did it with a smile on her face. Highly recommended! -

Kat was amazing to work with! Our photos capture our love story perfectly and she was so easy to work with. Very knowledgeable on how to get the best shot with the best lighting. She captured every single detail of our wedding. It will be perfect to reflect back on in years from now and still have a perfect memory of what our wedding looked like. -
