Lori Sent on 06/17/2013I was very impressed with the fun we had with Mark from Studio One in Crystal Lake! Very professional and fun! He liked our ideas to make it more memorable instead of the regular posed pictures and he even had some good ideas of his own! I can't wait to get a bunch of frames and make a "wedding wall" of our special day! Spectacular! -

Lindsey Sent on 06/06/2012Studio One was awesome and our photographer Dave Schmidt was amazing. He was on time, professional, and fun to work with. He answered our phone calls the same day, and listened to what kind of photos we wanted at our wedding. He was there to take all the memorable shots, he had great ideas for pictures, he listened to what we wanted, and was fun to work with. I would recommend Dave to anyone! Studio One was also easy to work with and very professional. Nothing but amazing things to say about Studio One and Dave!! -
User1090640 Sent on 02/13/2013DO NOT use this company for any type of special occasion you will never be able to get back, such as a wedding. I made the BIGGEST mistake EVER using this company. I actually got better pictures from my friends cell phones than from Studio One Crystal Lake. DO NOT waste your money, find another comp. The pictures are so bad I can't even put 90% of them in an allbum. Its an embarrisment. I had a beautiful winter wedding. The ceremony and reception had this beautiful blue lighting, like a cold winter night with the warmth of the candles lit up and down the asile. But what color did every picture of the ceremony and such turn out? A neon pink color and purple. The ugliest thing i have ever seen. My words cant even describe it. And the photographer that took the pictures for my wedding wasnt even the photographer i hired. And Marc didnt even have the decency to call me and tell me something has come up, when he obviously knew in advance, bc Lauren called me nearly a week before my wedding and left a message saying she is my photographer. But by then they already had my account paid in full so I guess it doesnt matter how they treat there customers once they have your money. When I booked I had told him I would like a few formal pictures but we wanted to have new, fun, creative pictures. But nope, everything was the same 2 poses & rushed, the only semi close up pictures are pictures they cropped from a full length picture. no face shots, no fun shots. And to top it off they ruined the "Reveal" photo, which is the one photo I told her how I wanted. She cut half of it out. They ruined my wedding memories & they dont care at all. Now me & my husband are going to have to spend hundreds of more dollars to get dressed up again get a tux find a photographer to take good pictures of my husband & I, but that still will not fix the problem that I have no good pictures of the ceremony set up and the reception set up, that I can never reenact and thats what hurts the most.
