Made Me Feel Beautiful

To say that Karen and her team are experts in their field is an understatement. They don’t do everyone’s makeup the same, they really look at your face and skin tone to apply what’s best for each individual. Karen did makeup for me, my mom, my mother-in-law, and 3 bridesmaids. I had a trial about a month before the wedding - she talked me through everything she was thinking and we tried different things. She was very open to my comfort level with makeup and willing to make any adjustments. After the trial I felt beautiful - and the day of the wedding even more so. We had a wide array of skin tones in my group - from me being very pale, to my mother-in-law being quite dark. Everyone felt great with their final results. Karen was a pleasure to work with, very responsive, and on time both with arrivals and makeup completion the day of the wedding.

Forever grateful

As one knows their wedding day is a huge day for the ladies :) Darlene Kummet not only did she doe beautiful work prior to on the test run but the day of she was on time, set up and had us all done in time! She was simply amazing! If anyone is looking for someone to make their day a little extra special with flawless makeup.. look NO further you are in the right place with a fantastic crew! 110% I was beyond happy and very appreciative of her skills and professionalism! Thank you Ms. Dar... I would recommend you ten times over to anyone! Near and far!

Working with Karen and her team was fantastic! Beyond being incredibly talented, they are the sweetest and fun to be around on your wedding day. They make everyone look beautiful in a way that looks natural and glam without looking cakey and overdone. If you have the chance to work with them, jump on it!

Karen is amazing!

Karen was absolutely amazing! Karen was hired by my sister for her wedding a view months prior to mine. I loved how easy she was to work with, how much fun it was to get my makeup done by her and how talented she is! When you first meet Karen, it’s like you have known her for years!! I knew after my sisters wedding that Karen was the artist for my big day!

I went to Karen’s beautiful studio for my wedding make up trial and we had so much fun! My trial makeup was INCREDIBLE but I knew exactly what I wanted for my big day (huge makeup fanatic over here!) and I wanted a little more “drama” for my big day. I called Karen the next day and she was so receptive when we discussed what exactly I wanted.
I went back for another trial a few weeks later and we tested a few new products to achieve my look. Karen nailed it and I was so excited for her to do my makeup again for my big day!

Karen truly is talented and did an extraordinary job on my makeup, my mother’s, my mother in laws and my two sisters. She made all of us feel and look so special throughout the day and night!

Karen is amazing!! She is truly the best and so fun to work with! I can’t recommend her enough!!

Such an amazing experience!

Incredible!!!

Studio of Makeup is incredible! I am not someone who typically wears much makeup, so I was nervous to get mine professionally done. Karen made me feel so comfortable talking me through the entire process. When I finally got to look in the mirror I was blown away. She did such an amazing job. I highly recommend!!!

Amazing Experience

Studio of Makeup was so great to work with! Karen is truly an amazing makeup artist and she made me look and feel my absolute best on my wedding day. She is also incredibly easy to work with and made this part of the wedding planning process not stressful at all. Karen, along with her daughter Brooke did my entire bridal party the day of the wedding and all my bridesmaids loved how they looked especially my sister who hired Karen for her upcoming wedding in October.

I can’t recommend Studio of Makeup enough. They were one of my favorite vendors to work with and you won’t go wrong hiring them!

Wedding Party Makeup

Fabulous makeup and experience!

Highly recommend Studio of Makeup! Karen did my makeup in such a way that I looked like myself in person and in pictures. She was very helpful and responsive throughout the entire process, particularly in trying to figure out the "getting ready" schedule for the wedding morning.

Beautiful work

Karen is such a talented make up artist - I'd recommend her over and over again. She took care of 7 of us (including the bride) on the morning of my wedding. She was so detail oriented - taking time to not only make sure each member of my wedding party looked stunning but they FELT stunning too. She was receptive to feedback in order to make each of them feel their best and comfortable with the final look. I couldn't have asked for better make up on my wedding day. 10/10 would hire again and recommend for any other bride. I'll certainly be calling Karen for my next big event!

A wonderful experience from the very beginning

ne of my biggest concerns for wedding vendors was finding a makeup artist that would help me look the best version of myself without feeling uncomfortable. As woman who does not wear much makeup, I worked with Darlene to make me feel and look amazing. This group of ladies has been wonderful to work with, they are responsive, thoughtful and just overall great people. I would and have recommended them to everyone I can - either as a bride or as an individual looking for great skin care. Thank you thank you thank you!

Darleen is a true artist!

There was never a doubt in my mind that studio of makeup would do the makeup at my wedding. They are amazing at what they do! Darleen was the head makeup artist on our wedding day and she did truly breathtaking makeup. We had 14 people getting their makeup done, so her and her assistant had their work cut out for them. However, everyone looked flawless! They used airbrushing that day so that everyone’s makeup would look natural and pop in the photos. While they are more expensive than other places in the area, the money you spend is well worth it! Darleen is an absolute sweetheart and even stayed for a while after just to get photos and be a part of the excitement. I have never felt more beautiful and radiant as I did that night. After hours of pictures, crying, and dancing, my makeup was still completely in tact when we got back to our room at 3am. I even slept in it and wore it down to brunch the next morning as it still looked good. Studio of makeup is the best in town and Darleen was a doll to work with!

Beautiful!!

The team at Studio of Makeup came highly recommended to my mom and I and they lived up to the expectations entirely. Not only did I feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day but I know my mother, my mother in law, my grandmothers, and all of the women in my bridal party felt gorgeous as well. Truly amazing!

Karen and Darlene made my day so special! I got married in August of 2018 and had Karen and Darlene as my artists for the day! They were so much fun and made everyone in my bridal party look and feel absolutely gorgeous! I also spent a lot of time at the Studio with these ladies prior to my wedding getting Hydrafacials and trying out different looks for my big day! They are truly experts in what they do and they really put their hearts into it. I can't thank them enough!

Simply the best!

I cannot say enough good things about Karen and Studio of Makeup! Karen did the makeup for my wedding including myself, bridesmaids, sisters, and my mom, and she did an absolutely PHENOMENAL job! Everyone loved their makeup and I have never felt so beautiful in my entire life! From the trial, to the big day Karen made sure I loved everything about my wedding day look answering any questions and concerns that I had. She is such a kind-hearted and geniune person, and I cannot thank her enough for all she did for our big day! I would recommend Karen, Brooke, Sarah, and Studio of Makeup without hesitation for any special event or everyday beauty need (I will not go anywhere else to have my eyebrows waxed!). They are simply the best!

Brooke did my makeup along with 7 bridesmaids and she was amazing!! Make up looked amazing, she was super professional, fun and most importantly on time. She took her time and made sure everyone loved their makeup and stayed on schedule to make sure everyone was done on time and not rushing. Will definitely recommend them!

Amazing makeup and wonderful people!

Karen did my makeup for my wedding in September and it was AMAZING! They also did makeup for my mom and 6 bridesmaids and everyone looked great and they listened to everyone's preferences/styles to make sure we were all happy with our looks. I got so many compliments on my makeup and everyone looked incredible in our photos. In addition to making us look beautiful, Karen is the kindest person and so easy to be around. We had so much fun getting ready all day and felt like she was part of our family/friends crew. I can't recommend Studio of Makeup enough!

Wonderful experience!!

Karen was so amazing throughout my wedding planning and on the Big Day! She always responded to my emails or calls very quickly and took her time to discuss my options and reassure me at every decision point! On the day of, she arrived early to set up the bridal suite and she played such a big role in keeping the mood relaxed and fun throughout the day! Amazing Experience With Studio of Makeup!

As someone who doesn't have great skin and frequently struggles with acne, Brooke at Studio of Makeup was a lifesaver for my wedding day. These ladies will make you look amazing no matter what skin issues you are dealing with and will also prep you months before the big day. I had a really terrible break out about 6 months before my wedding and worked with Brooke to get it under control. On my wedding day (11/17/18) Brooke was responsible for my makeup, 6 Bridesmaids, and my mom. She absolutely killed it! No one looked overdone and everyone was really happy with the outcome. My wedding day wasn't a particularly great skin day for me, but Brooke make sure no one knew that ;)

Highly recommend Studio of Makeup not only for weddings, but for every day skin needs! PS: Do yourself a favor and get a Hydrafacial. You won't be sorry!

Brooke was absolutely amazing! She did the make up for my wedding which involved 5 bridesmaids, 2 moms and my aunt! She quickly made everyone feel; comfortable, confident and beautiful!! She spent time with each person to see if they had any makeup likes or dislikes and matched each persons colors individually. Everyone felt amazing! Absolutely LOVE Karen and her team!! Karen did my engagement and wedding makeup. She truly made me look and feel like a natural beauty! Karen and Darlene worked well with our wedding team and beautified 11 Greek women with no complaints from anyone! All the ladies felt beautiful the day of the wedding and I cannot thank them enough! Karen and Sarah did the makeup for my wedding (it was 12 bridesmaids and 1 MOB)-and every single person looked amazing! They did an incredible job, and really listened to the skin or makeup concerns of each girl. I couldn't picture the makeup looking any better! I had people coming up to me at the wedding telling me how beautiful everyone in the wedding party looked, and I couldn't agree more. I would recommend them to anyone!!

We booked Sarah and Karen from Studio of MakeUp for my wedding this past December…. they were fantastic! Karen and Sarah did make-up for my entire bridal party, including my mom and mother-in-law. Our wedding photos recently came back and my bridal party’s make-up looks gorgeous in every photo. Sarah did my make-up and it was absolutely stunning! I met Sarah at my make-up trial and could immediately tell how professional and genuine she was. She took the time to answer all of my questions about false lashes (I had some concerns since I wear contacts) and was very patient while we took time to find the perfect lipstick color. I would 100% recommend Sarah and Karen for all Brides for their upcoming weddings!

Studio of Makeup was amazing to work with! Sarah did my makeup for my wedding on September 9, 2017! She was so attentive to detail and wanted to make sure I was happy every single step of the way! The very corner of my eyelash actually started peeling off a little bit (lots of happy tears!!) and Karen even sent someone back to reattach it after the ceremony! Karen, Brooke and the team at Studio of Makeup is BEYOND fabulous. I instantly loved Karen when I went in for my trial, and loved the makeup outcome. She is so skilled at what she does. On the actual wedding day, Karen and Brooke were timely, professional and most importantly a joy to be around. My mom and bridesmaids felt like we were hanging out with family for the day. Not to mention our makeup was INCREDIBLE. Guests at the wedding asked me multiple times who did our makeup and I gladly said "Studio of Makeup-- you must hire them!". I cannot begin to tell you how much I love the girls at Studio of Makeup. While I have had my makeup done by three of the girls at the Studio (all were amazing) Karen was with us for the big day. Everyone that works at Studio of Makeup is not only amazing at what they do but also kind, caring and truly listen to your request. My girls all LOVED their makeup and they all looked amazing. I am so happy to have friends at Studio of Makeup and I know that I can always count on they to do amazing work. My wedding was on 9/3 in Gettysburg. I heard about studio of make up through the lady that does my nails. I never even knew that place was there! I started going there for eyebrow waxing, so when I got engaged it was a no brainer to ask them to do my wedding. Everyone there is always so nice and look fabulous! Brooke came up to the hotel I was staying at in Gettysburg, got everything set up, and went straight to work. She was right on time with everything, even though I had heard horror stories from other brides about things never going as planned on a timeline scale. Everyone's make up looked gorgeous, and I received multiple compliments throughout my wedding from guests about how fantastic my make up looked. Brooke used airbrush make up for all of us, and no one looked "gaudy". Everyone's make up matched their face and complexion and looked great for them. I love Brooke and the Studio of Make up and will always use them for all of my beauty needs! Highly recommend this place!!

I recently visited the Studio of Makeup for a photo makeup application. I don't normally wear much makeup and I was happy that my application didn't feel heavy. The airbrush was flawless and I loved my lashes! I left looking and feeling 10 years younger. I appreciated their knowledge on skincare and look forward to visiting them regularly!

We had a group of 10 people to have makeup done. Not only did everyone look amazing, but they were so efficient and we finished well ahead of time. Everyone's makeup lasted all day, and there were so many compliments all around. We all felt so pampered by Karen and Brooke. My daughter and I went in 6 months prior to do monthly hydrofacials as well, and these were a highlight for us as well. Thank you Brooke and Karen for making us all feel so incredibly beautiful.

Karen and Brooke were AMAZING!!! My wedding was May 19th and we had 9 ladies for makeup. Everyone looked STUNNING. Brooke did my makeup for my wedding in July and did a great job! She was professional, personable, and fun. I loved that she really listened to what I like and dislike and that when she was finished I felt like a more beautiful version of my normal self. The makeup looked so natural and really enhanced my natural beauty, which was exactly what I wanted! Darlene did my makeup for my wedding, as well as seven of my bridesmaids! We all got our hair done in the morning and Darlene helped me create a timeline for each bridesmaid to get their make up done that worked with our hair schedule as well. Darlene drove all the way to DC very early in the morning and set up in a very timely manner. We had to leave for the ceremony right when the last girl finished, but Darlene stayed behind and cleaned up the entire room. She is very organized and created a great set up in my hotel room. She even suggested making a music playlist to have while getting ready. Darlene did an amazing job with my makeup as well as my bridesmaids makeup. Everyone looked beautiful!! It was such a joy working with Darlene for my weddingI She is incredibly professional and I would highly recommend her to any bride looking for someone to do makeup for their wedding!

Darlene did my makeup, as well as the mother of the bride/groom, and 2 bridesmaids! Darlene worked with us and the photographer to determine a timeline that would work for everyone! Studio of Makeup came to our house for the morning of our wedding and made sure that all my bridesmaids, my mother, my grandmother and I all looked our best for my big day. I booked Karen to do my wedding party's make up and I couldn't have been happier with that decision!
I was very picky deciding on the 'look' I wanted for my wedding day and throughout my make up trial Karen was patient, attentive and very professional. She listened to my ideas and anxieties and took them on-board to create a look I absolutely loved.

Studio of Makeup did all of the make up for the entire wedding party. Darlene and Sarah were incredible! Everyone absolutely loved their final look - which they tailored for each individual person's skin tone and wanted look. They had every tool and product imaginable and we didn't want for anything. Karen Weiner's talent for makeup cannot be summed up in words. Not only is she kind, patient, and warm, but she is as creative as an artist as they come. I've used studio of makeup for skin care, facials and makeup for more than three years. It was a no brainier that I'd use them for wedding makeup. They are the best at what they do. Darlene is the so genuine and cares for her clients! Studio of Makeup is the most amazing group of women you could want to surround yourself with on your wedding day (or any day for that matter). My family has been going to them for almost two decades and they are honestly the most genuine, helpful, talented women in this field. Cannot say enough good things about the service I received on my wedding day. My makeup artist was Darlene and she really went above and beyond to be sure that everyone was 100% satisfied. I was thrilled with what she was able to do with my skin. Despite my recent breakouts, she was able to make my skin look flawless. I requested a more natural look so I was afraid that I might looked washed out in photos but was surprised at how well my makeup showed up in pictures while still giving me a more natural appearance. Studio of MakeUp is hands down the most classy, elegant studio I have ever seen. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with beautiful faces who are eager to assist. My make up application was extremely beautiful, my husband couldn't take his eyes off me. Brooke, was my artist and she made my eyes literally pop and just... Wow. Definitely not afraid to go outside the box and open to unique ideas... just .. WOW!!! I had false lashes that were well worth the price, they lasted throughout the whole morning, day and completely through the night. I started seeing Sarah months in advance to get my skin prepared. I went frequently to get HydraFacials . She did a great job clearing up my skin to ensure my confidence for my big day.
Karen did an outstanding job with everyone's make up. I was so glad I took her suggestion on doing the false lashes. They really gave me the look I was going for. There was a minimal extra fee, but definitely worth it. My skin looked and felt amazing. Overall I was most impressed with my grandmother's make-up. Karen literally took 10 years off of her face. It was a wonderful experience for all of us and I would highly recommend Karen for any special occasion. She truly is the best at what she does and a perfectionist to boot!

I have been going to Karen for makeup for special occasions for almost 15 years. Her makeup always looks flawless – very natural but bold enough to look great in pictures. Karen did my makeup for my wedding and it looked perfect! She brought another makeup artist, Sarah, and together they did makeup for me, my mom, 7 bridesmaids, my mother-in-law and my aunt. They timed it perfectly and everyone looked amazing! They used air brush for everyone and it turned out so well in the pictures. Karen has a very calm, professional and incredibly warm demeanor that helped set the tone for the perfect wedding day. I would highly recommend Karen and the other artists at Studio of Makeup for weddings, special occasions and everyday makeup needs!

Studio of makeup is absolutely amazing! Karen is a true artist. She made me feel so beautiful, and she has a calming nature that makes you want her around on your wedding day. Karen's daughter is really talented too. I can't recommend studio of makeup enough!

For our daughters wedding Karen and her daughter did 10 people. My daughter looked so gorgeous, the airbrushed makeup lasting all day, despite the heat, humidity and dancing. They are artists and delightful to be with...we love them!

Karen is the best! Me and my bridesmaids looked fantastic. Her airbrush machine made my skin look flawless. She worked very hard to cover up any spots or blemishes on my face perfectly. She also did an amazing job with my eyes. My entire face, especially my eyes, was like a work of art. It all looked very tasteful and my pictures came out great! She really knows exactly how much makeup to use so that it shows up in pictures without looking like too much.

I would highly recommend Studio of Makeup! We used Karen Weiner for our wedding and everyone looked absolutely beautiful! Although Studio of Makeup is pricier than many places, Karen is worth the money. My makeup looked flawless and stayed on all night. Make sure to book her well in advance though!

We had a great time working with Darlene from Studio of Makeup. We did a make-up trail which helped figure out our starting point, but she was prepared to experiment day-of to complete my look. Darlene arrived early and agreed to stay late for touch-ups. She even was willing to touch-up my mother-in-law who was unhappy with her make-up from another vendor! Three generations of women in my family were extremely happy with they way they looked. Thanks, Darlene!

Karen did my makeup for my wedding as well as makeup for my 4 bridesmaids and my mom. She was willing to travel to Annapolis early in the morning to do our makeup at the hotel before our 1:00pm ceremony. Karen was well organized, calm and positive while we were all getting ready, and she worked fabulously with my hair stylist. My makeup looked incredible, both in person in my photos, and even though it was more makeup than I typically wear, it looked natural and felt very comfortable. I also really enjoyed my pre-wedding trial - getting to know Karen and seeing her work ahead of time made me feel so much more at ease on the big day. Would highly recommend Karen for any wedding or other special event!

Karen and her team are always my first choice for professional makeup application. I trusted Studio of Makeup with my two sisters, mother, and grandmother, and my bridal makeup and everyone's final results were perfect! Darlene did my makeup for my wedding. She came early and was ready to go on time. She had 7 faces to do. She looked professional and smiled the entire day. We all felt relaxed while she worked nonstop. We all were thrilled with how we looked. I would highly recommend Darlene or any of the others who work at Studio of Makeup. The owner requires a level of professionalism with all her artists.

Karen and the whole Studio of Makeup team were fantastic. They provided makeup for the women of the bridal party, myself included. Everyone looked and felt great, and our makeup lasted for the entire day.

We had a wedding party of a bride, two moms and 6 bridesmaids. The moms and the bride went in before the wedding for a trial makeup that Karen had suggested. It was so helpful. The day of the wedding we had two makeup artists and they were fabulous. They were calming and yet made us all feel so special and happy. I would use them for any event that you need special makeup. We all looked unique and beautiful. Studio of Makeup never does the same makeup look for everyone because they understand skin tone and color. I had never worn eyelashes before but they suggested I try it and I was not sorry. It was the best experience and I would do it all over again. It was worth every penny.

Makeup was beautiful. I felt like a princess. I did not like the fact that she charges extra $25 to apply false lashes on top of the $125 she charges for makeup. It should be included.

They were pretty good. Pretty expensive. Require you to bring a lot of items with you for the wedding day. Charge you for trial runs or you have to buy 5 of their products.
