Mike is amazing

We had an amazing time with Mike as our dj... not only did he go above and beyond— he really got our guests to get going and interacted with all of us. Played good music — kept making sure we were okay and was always right there to help other then being a dj... my bridesmaids are planning on contacting him for their weddings this year!!

Mike was very accommodating, he was the officiant for our ceremony and also DJ'd the reception. He played all the music we requested and made sure to play entertaining games that kept the excitement going throughout the night. He handled all of the coordinating during both the ceremony and reception which took a lot of stress off our shoulders when we were both nervous up until the ceremony!

Amazing people to work with. They were extremely accommodating, easy to get ahold of, and they had extremely fair prices. We are very pleased with how our wedding turned out, it wouldn't have been the same without Mike and studio 616!

Joe with Studio 616 was so much fun during our reception! He did a great job of announcing everything, playing the songs that we wanted, and keeping everyone on the dance floor. He talked to us beforehand and walked us through the whole plan as well.

I am so glad we went with Studio 616! Mike was our DJ for the night and we also had the photo booth! Mike was so great about listening to what we wanted, and was so flexible! He had a great set up with fun lights, and the photo booth came with props and a book with all the images in the end. (Our favorite part).

He did a great job with having the right music for different activities. And he also knew how to get everybody's attention, and keep things moving!

The only bad thing I heard from our guests was he was not too responsive to taking requests. But he still played fantastic music!

We hired Studio 616 to do the music for our wedding ceremony, photo booth, DJing the reception, and to do our Photography. Hands down the best ever! The package prices are affordable, and the service that we got was amazing! The stereo and DJ equipment is top of the line, and Mike definitely knows how to make a fun party! My guests kept coming up to my wife and I all night telling us how awesome Mike and his crew are. The most impressive part was the photography. By the time we all sat down for dinner, they had already printed and put together an album for the guests to look at! The photo quality is superb, and it is easy to tell that they are pros. I would recommend Studio 616 without hesitation, great job guys!

The photo booth/DJ package is a great deal! There were fun props to use and was a hit! Our DJ did a great job with making sure the musical selections we wanted to have played, were played and same for those tunes that we didn't want. Our guests had an awesome time with groups in the photo booth. I loved at the end of the night how my hubby and I were given a copy of everyone's film strip taken! Hilarious pictures to look at and remember for a lifetime! I would recommend Studio616 to friends and family looking for entertainment services!

Fantastic music and over all engaging atmosphere was created by Joe. Joe was able to help us out last minute and did not disappoint. Joe seem to know the crowd and what they wanted to hear with in just a few songs. he accommodated everyone with there wishes and was very easy going to what we needed. I extremely recommend Studio 616 and Joe!!!

Mike was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. He patiently answered all of our questions and followed through on everything he said he would do. Our photo booth attendant was very kind and courteous. Our guests enjoyed the booth, and from all the research we did it was the best value. Would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them.

Hello. I just wanted to say that I had Sherry Hansen from Studio 616 for my DJ at my wedding and she was very professional. She looked very nice and she had no problems playing all of the music that I or my guests requested. We also had her handle the music for my ceremony which she handled nicely. She was very helpful in getting my party started and keeping the events running smoothly. I couldn't have done it without this company!

We are so happy we used Studio 616 as our DJ service. The majority of our communication was via email as we are from Chicago and the owner, Mike, was very prompt in his replies. Mike met with us at our venue prior to the event to discuss where the DJ would be located for the ceremony and reception. We chatted about the kinds of music we preferred, as well as how we wanted the day to flow. A few days prior to the wedding, we met with Dan, who would be our DJ for the night. We reviewed the schedule of events and the music must haves for our big day. Dan did not disappoint and really helped make the night a success! He played music for all ages and even got our grandparents out on the dance floor. At the end of the night the dance floor was full and we finally had to shut the reception down!

We also utilized the uplighting available from Studio 616 and this really enhanced the reception space. We rented the photo booth, which comes with a slew of props, and Studio 616 puts together a photo album that you then receive at the end of the night. This was awesome and we highly recommend it! I think almost all of our guests ended up in the photo booth at some point which made for a highly entertaining photo album!

We would highly recommend Studio 616 - they were accommodating, helpful, affordable and tons of fun!

We worked with Mike from Studio 616, and got the package with 11 hours of DJ and Photo Booth combined. Mike was very responsive to emails throughout the engagement as we prepared for the wedding. He was very laid back and professional, and offered a nice combination of both offering us ideas that he has used in wedding receptions that have been successful as well as listening to our ideas about what we wanted.

At the reception, the music was really really good. He mostly stayed with a list of songs that we had provided, in addition to taking requests from guests. The dance floor stayed full for most of the night, and he offered a variety of songs that got almost all guests (from young people to grandparents) on the floor at some point in the night. The Photo Booth was also a huge hit. My favorite thing about the photo booth was the props Studio 616 brought. There were a lot, and they were really fun hats and masks. Many guests wore them not just in the Photo Booth but on the dance floor as well, and it added to the party atmosphere. All in all, Studio 616 exceeded my expectations and helped us throw a really fun party for our family and friends. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Studio 616 was the perfect choice for our big day. The package we chose for our reception included a DJ and a photo booth for a very reasonable price. Mike was our DJ and he truly allowed us to enjoy our reception by keeping the evening flowing nicely and playing an awesome mix of music that kept our friends and family on the dance floor having a blast all night! Everyone loved the photo booth and the huge selection of props made for some amazing pictures. We are extremely pleased with our choice, and would choose Studio 616 again in a heart beat!

Mike and his company did a wonderful job of providing DJ services for both my wedding ceremony and the reception. Mike was extremely professional and friendly. He did a great job of communicating with us on the wedding day and helped us relax and have a good time. Mike knew how to entertain our guests, including many older folks, with a great selection of oldies and hits from the 80s and 90s and today. My family and friends loved the photobooth. The nice thing is that Studio 616 provides a book at the end of the night of all photos captured in the booth. It was super fun.
Everything went off without a hitch!

We rented the photo booth for a back yard toy drive/pool party and our guests loved it! Mike is very professional but at the same time very personable. The quality of photos were great and the fact that they were waterproof was genius. We host this event every year and plan to use his services again and again.

We got married on June 21, 2014 and Studio616 did my DJ, Photography, and Photo booth. Mike was wonderful and so was his staff. My guest kept raving about the photo booth and how much fun it was, and the DJ service kept the music going so it was never a dull moment.

We hired studio 616 last weekend 7-26-14 for our wedding Kyle was our DJ and Casey worked the photobooth. They both did an exceptional job. Everything was amazing! Mike the owner took meet with us initially to go over everything his company offers and what we could expect. He spent over an hour of his un-paid time with us. We booked them that day! We were very specific what we wanted, needed, and expected. I believe this along with his knowledge and professionalism helped to make our day special. Our DJ was joe. Joe also meet with us on his own time. Upon meeting we could tell he was a very seasoned dj. When we didnt know what direction to go he was there to offer suggestions and guide us. He spent many minutes on the phone with me back and forth, always called me me back in a timely manner, and never made me feel like I was bothering him even when I got bridezilla. The day of the wedding came and joe was there early to set up. He was dressed in a nice suit. He was attentive to our needs. He familiarized himself with our intenary. He made us comfortable. Everything went off without a hitch. Joe is amazing. I have already recommended him to several people inquiring about a dj. I think the key to our success was great dj and good communicating between all parties involved.

We also had a photo booth through this company. Sarah did our booth. She was set up prior to my events starting and there and ready to go on time. She actually requested to donour wedding, so that was awesome! The props were fun and there was plenty. Sarah was also training a girl who's name escapes me. However, both sarah and her trainee were fun, energetic, attentive and amazing. Sarah let us go extra without any extra charge. We took so many pictures and had so much fun! The price was right. Everything was wonderful. Id recommend sarah and joe all day long. Thanks guys for making our day so special! Even my bridal party raved about both of you!

Mike seriously went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I's special day was perfect. He did everything perfect- his vibe was great, and his personality is GOLD. First off, before even meeting this guy, he made sure he had all the right songs, and the right vibe for the wedding (which was 1920s theme). Mike and I talked many times over the phone to tie up loose ends and get everything concrete and decided on. Before I even got to experience the magic of his awesome Dj skills, he already went above and beyond by actually genuinely caring. You can tell he absolutely loves his job. The website he has set up is AMAZING. Its so easy to log on and put any and all information about the reception on it. Mike then put videos and songs on the site that were MAIN songs and then after the wedding he put up all the photobooth pictures (which are so awesome to scroll through). I had many people comment on how amazing he was and how jealous they were that their Dj wasnt as fun and cool. I love that Mike always let us know what was going to happen, when to announce certain things, and he helped me understand when to do cake cutting and the dollar dance. Mike had a few fun things of his sleeves to get guests involved and it was BRILLIANT! I got to go around with my cell phone and take selfies with as many people as possible while he played that song about taking selfies! The photobooth was seriously amazing too! Almost all of my guests took pictures and used their awesome props inside the booth Studio 616 even provide a photobooth booklet where everyone can put their pictures in it and write the bride and groom well wishes. I got a service that was worth $5000, for $1000. 11 hours of Dj and Photobooth! Best deal around- and the best Dj ever.

Mike totally came through and saved the day by saying yes to being our DJ 3 months before the wedding. Great value for the price! We hired them for 2 hour photo booth rental during our reception at the Henderson castle and they were awesome! (they even carried the photo booth up 3 flights of stairs for us) They made us a personalized logo for our photos and a personalized guest book. They even went out on the dance floor and took some photos for us with their cameras! Everyone loved the photo booth and they were very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend for the future!

I attended my cousin's wedding this past weekend. Kyle was the DJ and he did an amazing job, I made sure to make a note of his name in case I need a DJ in the future. He was always playing the perfect song and kept the party going until the end of the night.

This ended up being the surprise hit of the reception! It was so fun and there were so many props to choose from. All of my guests were able to get a copy of their pics, and I also got a copy, which was put in a book, along with a message from the guests. It is such a cherished keepsake. And hilarious too! Hired on moments notice. Been getting phone calls all week saying how much fun they had. DJ and photobooth operator very professional, amazing set up. Very personable and super nice. Great music..all night, it was seriously erfect no complaints. Thanks again studio616 for contributing to a fantastic evening, and creating great lasting memories.

Thank you for doing such an awesome job on our daughters wedding. The photos of the bridal party, before and after the wedding were just beautiful. There were so many photos of our family, the Wedding, Reception, before and after shots, nothing was missed. The DJ-ing of the reception was above fantastic. My son in law and daughters wedding was SO much fun. The entire wedding party from the facility next door came and joined our group because they could see and hear the fun we were having. It is fun to look at the photos to see the great time everyone from our party and the other wedding party were having. I HIGHLY recommend your services to everyone!

THIS WAS AN AWESOME SERVICE! Mike and his photobooth were so fun. It was so worth the money. The props were a big hit with the photos and on the dance floor. They were prompt, helpful, and just simply worth the money!!!! GET THIS SERVICE. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!

These guys were totally awesome and we had a blast with them. We booked them kinda last minute because our other dj backed out because a hunting trip came up, and Mike and his crew were right there and absolutely amazing. He was positive and knew what he was doing and had lots of suggestions for us, especially cause we were really laid back and didnt really know what we wanted. Couldn't have asked for a better dj. We also had their photobooth!!! SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Just married on June 14th, Dan from Studio 616 was an awesome DJ. He was flexible in the selection of music and three days before the wedding we got all of our must haves to him and he had everything prfect. He made all the announcement clear so everyone understodd what was happening. He even kept cool and calm when the cops came... LOL..... The photobooth was AWESOME. It was the hit of the night. They provided the props, paper, and a memory book. The operator was so cool and laughed right along with us. Our dog was even in the photobooth getting her picture taken!! I would definatley hire these guys again and recommend them to anyone getting married or anyone who wants to have an awesome party. We absolutly loved the photo booth, I would recommend to add this feature to your wedding it was lots of fun and all the invitees loved it.
We also have music at our ceremony and it made it very special. We are glad we did. Except that the speakers for the mics for the singer appear to make a noise sometimes.
Mike arrived on a timely manner.
During the reception he play most of the songs we requested. It appeared we have some minor glitches about playing the right song at the right time, but none seemed to notice but us.
The wedding was lots of fun and everybody said how wonderfull everything turned out.

They have some of the best deals out there. We used them for a photobooth only. We got a copy of the pictures in a book and the guests also got to take 1 home. It would have been nice if the pictures were personalized with our name and date of wedding as this was the favor for our guests. The website was difficult to navigate and I needed to email them to inquire about an invoice.

We had Mike as our DJ for our wedding. He had great suggestions for games to play during the reception, and it got a lot of people involved which was fun! I liked how he checked with either myself or my husband if someone requested a song I didn't want, so I appreciated that.
One of my biggest things that made me gave him a 4 out of 5 stars rating is that he played older songs for too long. A lot of my guests started to leave because they were wanting to get out and dance and the music just wasn't there for it. Once he finally started getting into more music to dance to, it was hits from 2008 basically, with nothing really current. During the night he also announced something along the lines of "Well the Bride and Groom have already hired me, they can't fire me now!" I only heard it once but my bridesmaid told me that she heard comments like that 4-5 times throughout the night which I thought was rude. Overall though we had a good experience.

The worst DJ I have ever encountered!He was a joke. Polite, nice guy but NOT a DJ. I have paid way less for the best of the best! Waste of money.
