Wedding Day

Studio 1 Photography was apart of our special day in November 2021. Booking a team that was passionate about what they did, cared about their clients' needs, and produced unbelievable quality that we could appreciate and look back on, was our absolute #1 priority. Studio 1 did that AND more. I am in complete awe at their work, quality of pictures, and their ability to be literally ANYWHERE & EVERYWHERE during our day. Our pictures are unbelievable (sneak peek) and I can't wait to see everything else. Our wedding video came in SO quickly and the team just made us feel so comfortable. Our same day edit was played during our wedding and it literally brought me (and many of our guests) to tears. Studio 1's attention to detail is unlike any other. THANK YOU to the whole team. We are forever grateful for your amazing work.

So glad we booked them!

Studio 1 photo/film outperformed our expectations throughout the whole process of booking them, and on the day of the wedding! The photographer (Ricky) and videographer (Peter/David), reached out to me well in advance to discuss our timeline of events. They were so GREAT the day of, and worked incessantly side by side to get the best shots possible!

Ricky IS SUCH A CREATIVE/TALENTED/INCREDIBLE/KIND photographer! He was so on time, and seemed to know my schedule more than I even did, ensuring that everything went according to plan at all times! My husband hates taking photos, but Ricky made us feel so comfortable throughout the day, and shot every single detail that I could have ever wanted - whether posed or un-posed! He is unlike any photographer I have ever met, crawling on the floor, lifting curtains, and doing every single stunt just to get the perfect shot! His creativity baffled us, where amazing sceneries and backgrounds were created even when there was none to behold!

Not to mention, we got our photos so quickly (2 weeks after the wedding), I definitely was not expecting that. We can't wait to see our video as well! If you're thinking of studio 1, just GO WITH THEM, don't even think it! They are the absolute best!!! Top-notch, very communicative, creative, professional and super-friendly! I don't think you can ever go wrong, no matter which photographer/videographer you get from their team! THANK YOU, STUDIO 1, AND RICKY, FOR MAKING OUR WEDDING PHOTOS SO SPECIAL!

Studio One did our photography and videography for our wedding on June 1, 2019. Domenick and his team were so awesome to work with. They made the day run so smooth and effortless in taking pictures. Nothing felt forced or awkward to do- very natural. Domenick is so creative in his work. We can’t wait to see all the photos when they come out! Thank you!

The best Photographers in this area! I was absolutely blown away by how amazing my pictures turned out. My experience with Dom was absolutely perfect from the first phone call. He is so professional and easy to work with. He makes you feel comfortable and confident, which makes for even better pictures. Our day was so special thanks to Studio1! They captured every moment i had hoped for and even more. i recommend them if you want your special day to be better than you ever imagined!

Dom was amazing to work with, and after talking to him just once I knew he was who we needed to photograph our wedding. Both of us hate taking pictures, and Dom made the process completely pain-free and made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy the party while making sure we got all the shots we needed. The best shots are the ones from the reception - he and Justin really captured everyone having an amazing time. I could not recommend Dom and Studio 1 enough!

The first vendor we booked for our special day was Studio 1 and it was the best decision we ever made. Beginning with our consultation, the care and consideration of every aspect of your wedding is evident when working with these photographers. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and Studio 1 capturing it truly made it special. They are reliable and extremely talented at what they do! If you book Studio 1, you know you will have the best day along with the best photographers you could ever ask for.

Where do I even begin? Dom from studio 1 is the absolute best. From the second we met him, we knew that he had to photograph our wedding. His work is absolutely breathtaking. From the engagement shoot, to the wedding- everything was perfect. The day of the wedding, Dom and his crew were so organized and really exceeded our expectations- I can’t even begin to explain how thankful we are for their amazing work. He is so extremely talented and really knows how to capture every moment. He listened to everything we wanted and went above and beyond. The amount compliments we have received from our photos is astounding. I highly recommend Studio 1!!

My husband and I got married on 6/17/17 and we can't say enough great things about Studio 1! Mike and Dom are amazing! There are so many gorgeous photos our only problem is picking out the ones we want because there are so many that we love! They made everyone feel comfortable and they fit right in with our bridal party - we all had a great time! Thank you for making our wedding that much more special!

My husband and I got married on 5/13/17 and used Studio 1 for our pictures. They do not disappoint!! Dom is so awesome to work with, I never had to worry about a thing because he is so knowledgeable and has an eye for creative, unique pictures. From the minute we met you could tell Dom was passionate about his job and really tries to get to know a couple. He was not pushy or overselling, and so genuinely nice. Although it rained the entire day, he was still able to capture the most beautiful photos, including a few rain shots that were unbelievable. He is incredibly detailed and photographs all the important candid moments!! Dom was recommended to me by 3 different people and I will continue to recommend Studio 1 to anyone I can!!

We are very happy we went with Studio 1 for our photography. Planning was easy and went smoothly with Domenick. We ended up working with Domenick and Mike on the wedding day and they were both great. Domenick said he was the easiest guy to get along with and it was so true. Even though he had never worked with our videographer or his assistant before, they worked so well together, communicated well and helped each other throughout the night. Even though we were running late (totally our fault) the guys did their best to get in as many shots that we wanted as possible. And I just got our pictures back- in about a month!

We got a recommendation for Studio1 from one of the wedding venues we were looking at. The wedding coordinator at the venue told us “of all the photographers I’ve seen here, Domenick is by far my favorite. His pictures are beautifully unique. He is who I would pick to photograph my daughter’s wedding”. After meeting with Domenick and his crew we couldn’t agree more! We used both Dom and Mike as our photographers and they were so easy to work with, incredibly hard working and have a true passion for their work. The pictures are stunning and how they work with lighting is amazing! Domenick and Mike were able to capture every aspect of our day (including many things that we missed)! We received all of the pictures in a timely manor and even got a sneak peak of a few while we were still on our honeymoon! We also used Eric from Studio1 films as our videographer. We love the highlight clip and are so excited to see the rest of the video! The whole crew worked seamlessly together to make our day stress-free. We loved everyone so much that my brother and his fiancé have already signed to use Studio1 for their wedding next summer!

We worked with Michael and Dom of Studio 1 Photography & Film. The are absolutely amazing and very talented individuals. My husband and I are very camera shy so we were not sure what to expect for our engagement photo shoot with Michael. We instantly felt comfortable and didn't even notice that Michael was taking our pictures! He gave us guidance, and at the same time let us use our own creativity.

On our wedding day everyone is so worried that taking pictures takes up ample amounts of time and you cannot enjoy your reception. That is definitely not the case with Dom. We did our first look, bridal party and family pictures all before the ceremony! After the ceremony we took a few pictures, and during the reception we took pictures for about 10 minutes tops! Dom worked his hardest every minute of the day! He was very pleasant and professional. He worked with us to ensure we received the pictures we wanted, as well as taking candid pictures!

I would recommend Studio 1 Photography & Film to anyone looking to have gorgeous pictures from amazing photographers!!

Words cannot describe how amazing Domenick and his team are! From our initial appointment, you were able to see how passionate Domenick is about his work. It was one of the many reasons my now husband and I went with Studio 1 Photography and Films. I am a very anxious person and sent Domenick an email almost every month, not to mention the closer to the wedding day the more I bombarded his inbox. He was so patient, genuine and responsive.

The day of the wedding, Domenick made me feel comfortable around the camera. He took away the anxiety I felt that day with just his presence. He has such a great personality on top of having a great talent.
When I got my pictures back I was beyond speechless. Every one of the photos was amazing! From the angle, to the background, he really captured every special moment from our wedding day. Looking at the photos you can see the day unravel. What makes Domenick different from every photographer is that he doesn’t take the same photos, with the same poses like many of the other photographers do. The pictures are very unique. He shot this one silhouette picture at the end of the wedding, where the night sky was light up and every star was visable – it was breathe taking! I am truly going to miss working with Domenick and Joe, they are great guys!

Dominick Michael is one of the most focused driven and motivated people I've ever been around. From the engagement photos to the wedding photos he was always prepared energetic and prepared. The photos look amazing. His assistant Andy is awesome too. She has a great personality and can get along with any group of people. They promise gret work and do great work.

My husband and I are so very happy we chose Studio 1 Photography for our March 2014 wedding! In retrospect, choosing our photographer was one of the most important decisions we made in the process of planning our wedding—your photographer is with you for every moment of your special day, and when all is said and done, the photos are what you have to look back on.

Domenick, Mark, Lindsay, and all of the photographers at Studio 1 are incredibly talented (you can tell that pretty quickly by browsing through their work). We chose to meet with them because we were drawn to their photojournalism style photos, and their ability to truly capture special intimate moments so beautifully. After meeting with Domenick, we knew Studio 1 was the right match for us—he is thoughtful, and creative and has the most amazing eye for lighting and composition. He is also a genuinely nice person, and I knew he would make us feel comfortable and relaxed.

We did our engagement shoot with Domenick in NYC at Grand Central Terminal. The photos we took that day are truly magical, and we are so grateful that we have tangible memories of that special time in our lives. We had Studio 1 take a few of our engagement shots and print them on large canvases, which we displayed at our wedding—they were a huge hit!

On our wedding day, Domenick and his team were with us every step of the way guiding us without being bossy or intrusive. They let moments happen and captured them as they naturally unfolded. When we saw our photographs, and we could not have been happier! They truly encapsulate all of the emotion of the day. Our family and friends have also given us great feedback on both the quality of the photos and the professionalism of our photographers.

We wanted a photography team that would first and foremost take beautiful pictures, but also who would make us feel comfortable on our wedding day. Studio 1 did both, and they have my absolute highest recommendation!

Sean did our photography and he's extremely talanted and does natural pictures. We were also happy with the videographer and DJ. The wedding pictures are listed under Heather and Tom. I'm thrilled with their professionalism and talent. I'm glad we used the whole team and couldn't be happier with our decision.

My husband and I had the pleasure to work with Dom and Lenny. All I can say is AMAZING WORK!!! Thank you guys for our beautiful pictures, we loved each and every one of them. Domenick and Shaun are amazing! We spent time with Domenick walking around with him for our engagement shoot at Bear Mountain. He worked the entire time to get the most interesting, perfect shots. Both my husband and I enjoyed spending time with him and he made us feel so comfortable that we were excited when he was able to photograph our wedding along with Shaun. At our wedding Shaun and Domenick were completely professional and captured so many beautiful moments. We love so many of our photos we have trouble picking our favorites for our wedding album. They did a great job of getting group photos of our families and bridal party as well as capturing many natural moments between us and the guests at the wedding. Many of our favorite pictures are the individual moments that were captured and by stringing them together we are able to remember our entire wedding. One of the things that was important to me was the ability to have all of my pictures and I love that they send you all of your edited photos to download. Additionally, they posted 40 photos that were their favorites the week after our wedding. Since this is the only thing that lasts after the wedding I am so happy I chose Studio 1. I don't think anyone could have done a more perfect job and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a photographer!

Amazing Coverage - Great photography

Do not sleep on photography from Studio 1. Ricky and Melanie were our first and second shooters respectively and they did an absolutely amazing job. As an event photographer myself, I wanted folks I could trust and they freaking nailed it even with the difficult logistics of our venue (we got married at a ski resort where guests were required to take the lift - so there was a lot of moving around different locations).

Ricky made me feel calm and heard and was incredible working with guests to get shots. Melanie was with my husband and his groomsmen getting ready and they said she was incredible and organized. She was a great help running through the shot list to ensure everything was captured for portraits and was very personable. Every photo that we saw studio1 posted on their socials from our wedding was absolutely amazing and we cannot wait to receive our full gallery.

If we could rate the videography team separately, we would have rated them about 4 stars, but we didn't feel it would be fair to rate the photography team lower than 5 stars due to the amazing job they did as a whole. The videography team could have been a little better/more organized with their communication and it didn't feel like they were one cohesive team. When the video team arrived, I had never met them and they were not clear in communicating what they were doing, however we felt we received great coverage which is another reason why we didn't want to rate the team lower than five stars. We also only asked for one videographer, so we were shocked when we received 2 additional folks and were concerned about the overlap (while we were ecstatic to get more coverage - we wish it would have been communicated to us because we were stressed about tips as our envelopes were already prepared!). One thing to note, it seemed like although Ricky was running the show (which he was absolutely amazing at) sometimes the video team was clashing for coverage with photographers, but overall,
I would not change anything, just encourage a smooth hand off with all vendors to make sure everyone is on the same page.

I fully recommend Studio 1, especially Ricky and Melanie despite the videography discrepancies. Everyone was great - cannot wait to get the final footage!

This was the first and only photographer we met with and decided on them on the spot, and I am so happy we did. The photos from the engagement shoot that Domenick took were just a taste of what to expect and we were blown away with the samples we recently got back from our October 2015 wedding. Our family and friends were all contacting us and were saying how beautiful and amazing the pictures came out, that they were the best they have ever seen. During the ceremony, Dom let us do our thing. He wasn't pulling us away for too long to take tons of pictures and really let us enjoy our day. You get what you pay for. They are reasonably priced, especially for this area. Domenick will only get better with time and has a raw talent that's obvious. A big thank you to Michael as well, our second photographer. You both are amazing!

Captured every moment!

We used Studio1 for our wedding this past May. We worked with Peter (videographer) & Victoria (photographer). Prior to our day, they took the time and went over what we wanted to capture. They were timely on the day of and got straight to work! We took pictures prior and during the day. During sundown, they both convinced us to go outside and we ended up getting some great shots. We were so thankful to have received all our pictures/video less than a month after. The videos (highlight, trailer, and film) were all tremendous, we watched them more times than can count. The quality was amazing and we were able to pick our favorite songs to go with it. Watching them allowed us to re-live the day and recall things in a different way. Peter absolutely killed it. The pictures were great, too. Some had awkward angles and shadows, but with some cropping and rotating, we were still able to use most of them. I do wish they got a shot of the back of my wedding dress, as the train and veil were long & dramatic, but luckily I had guests that captured. We also didn't get many pictures of our guests, which could be nice to see down the line. I had to make sure certain shots were being taken (i.e., first look with dad), which was difficult for myself as the bride in navigating, without taking from my day. Nevertheless, studio 1 did a good job of capturing every single moments of our big day, and we are thankful.

I waited a year and a half to write this review in hopes I wouldn't sound as angry or upset about their services. I have heard nothing but amazing things about this company and was so excited and relieved to book them.. WELL in advance. About 2 weeks prior to the wedding I attempt to reach out to Dom and go many days without any response. And this was after months of not having contact bc we did book over a year prior to the wedding. Finally when he responds he states oh and by the way I think I told you you're getting a new photographer. This photographer was very nice and awesome to work with but he told me himself he was NOT a new photographer he was contracted out and it was a last minute booking and basically they overbooked and he was helping him out. So my wedding day comes and I wanted a this company bc they are farmilar with the venue and this guy had never stepped foot there before, had no idea what would work and what wouldn't. And we didn't even get ANY photos of our entire bridal party. Which at the time I'm not keeping track of what and who has been in the photos....that is their job... I am SO disappointed in this company and the way they treated us. We booked a year in advance but I guess bc we didn't have film or any upgrades we were treated as our money is worth nothing and were given a photographer that doesn't even work for their company... If you use them, I say get in writing that they won't contract your work out to some shmuck off the street... bc now we missed out on so many important photos and I'm sure great shots in different areas of the venue that an actual employee would have known about.
