I just purchased my dress on Saturday from Strut Bridal. I worked with Ronnie, she helped me in every way, answered all of my questions fully, and made me feel special. When it came to my purchase appointment where we talked about what i wanted to do in alterations she knew everything I was asking about and told me what was and wasn't possible. Strut has provided me my dream dress and I cannot wait to wear it later this year. I honestly just want to put it back on lol. The only bridal shop you need
I was not excited to go dress shopping but once I got there and got paired up with Sema’J… that all changed. As a plus size bride, he made it so easy and fun to feel comfortable and gorgeous. The whole team cheered me on and it only took 3 dresses before I said “yes”! Definitely will tell all brides to check out Strut!

Best bridal shop I went to.
I am so glad I found Strut Bridal. From the very moment I called, I knew they were going to be wonderful to work with. Even though it was in Long Beach and I am in The Valley, it is definitely worth the drive. As a plus size woman, finding wedding dresses to try on can be difficult at best and heartbreaking at worst. But not at Strut. They have a store full of beautiful dresses where the sample sizes are plus size. Kelly helped me at my appointment and she was amazing, she helped me try on a ton of dresses and found the perfect dress for me. I never thought I would find such a gorgeous dress that fit me so beautifully. This was the first place I went and I decided I needed to go to at least one other place, but after I did, I couldn’t get back to Strut fast enough to order my dress. I also got my veil from them at a later date and Kelly was able to pull the veil I tried on at the first appointment and ship it up to LA, saving me a trip. If you are a plus size bride (or regular size, they have those too) head to Strut and you won’t be disappointed.

Finding my perfect dress
Manuela and the team made my dress shopping experience so great! After I had gone to a different place to view dresses, I was feeling a little defeated that I may not find the one easily but I had such a different experience at Strut. Manuela really listened to my feedback on each dress, and from there, we were able to find the style that was right for me. They made sure that I was walking out of there with a dress I absolutely loved that I could see myself walking down the aisle in. Can't wait to wear my dress on the big day.

Cancel your other bridal appointments! seriously. Rather than going on a dress marathon at multiple shops (like i did), save yourself time and just go to Strut to start! This shop has a gorgeous selection of dresses in inclusive sizes, absolutely incredible staff, fun & an amazing vibe. I am plus size and was struggling even to find dresses to try in and I could not have had a better experience. Ask for Sema’j he is literally amazing. He has fashion, finds your vision and incredibly kind. I am so grateful for their patients and making me feel confident in my dress!!

Strut was the only place I was getting my dress!
I had the utter pleasure and joy of working with the staff at Strut. From the moment I walked in, until I left, I felt welcomed, valued, and beautiful. Prior to the appointment, I had the opportunity to send pictures of gowns I liked and talk on the phone before to describe what I was looking for. When I came into the shop, I had the pleasure of working with Brooke, and she was fantastic. She heard me when I told her what I was looking for, and by the end of my appointment, I had the most perfect, gorgeous, most stunning dress I have ever seen. The dress was a showstopper and I received so many compliments!

This wasn’t my first time visiting a strut store, but I knew it was where I wanted to go after seeing how wonderful they were to my cousin when she was picking out a dress. My own experience was wonderful, and I was able to find a dress for my wedding I felt beautiful in. Both times we had Brooke helping us, and if you want someone who will make you feel comfortable, and hype you up to let you know how beautiful you are, she’s your lady. It’s a beautiful store with a wide variety of dresses to choose from, and friendly staff. I normally don’t write reviews, but for anyone who’s feeling anxious or not sure they’ll find the dress, Strut is the place to go.

We love Ronnie!
We were not intending on buying that day, but Ronnie was able to find exactly what we didn't know we were looking for! I didn't think I'd ever get misty eyed over a dress, but it's perfect. The wedding is in a month and the service we've received since picking the dress has been even more than I ever expected.
Ronnie is wonderful, responsive, and a joy to work with. Every little hiccup has been smoothed over and taken care of. I have already recommended them to a friend and plan to continue that.

Plus Size Brides get all the Options too!
Starting this review with my dress-buying experience, as some may already know, it is incredibly hard to find a bridal salon that caters to plus-size brides that has a broad selection of dresses that a plus size bride can actually try on. I was thus very fortunate to stumble upon Strut Bridal, conveniently located in my hometown of Long Beach. I went to their sample sale in July of 2019 to try on wedding dresses and was pleasantly surprised. I was allowed several guests and brought my mom and one of my bridesmaids. I had Yulina as my sales associate, who was knowledgeable about all the dresses and pulled great options, given my budget and style preference.
The very first dress I put on actually fit like a glove. It was perfectly my size. I couldn’t believe it! It was not the dress I choose but what a great start to what could have been a stressful day. All the dresses were absolutely beautiful and would look wonderful on any bride. Full disclosure—this was the only bridal salon I visited, and I ended up picking out my dress that day. I ended up choosing the second dress I tried on, a strapless sweetheart bodice lace fitted dress in champagne and ivory with a dramatic tiered train and crystal buttons.
Unfortunately, my wedding was repeatedly postponed due to COVID, but Strut was very accommodating to all the wedding changes. While free storage was included for the first 12 months, they offered very affordable monthly payments for storage thereafter. They conveniently provide the option for in-house alterations, and the seamstress was knowledgeable and friendly.
On the day of the wedding, the dress fit well and felt secure. It looked absolutely perfect in photos and brought the groom to tears. I’d strongly recommend Strut to brides-to-be, especially those looking for a salon that caters to plus-size women.

This review is for the Long Beach location. Catherine was my stylist. She was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. I told her everything I wanted and what I did not want. She definitely had me try on some beautiful dresses and gave me her honest opinion. She saved the best dress for last and I instantly knew it was the one! She also helped me pick a beautiful veil. Who would of thought I would find my dream dress on the first day! Anyone who knows me knows I am extremely picky. I would definitely recommend this location & Catherine as the stylist! This was my 3rd bridal shop and as a plus size bride it hadn’t been easy thus far. Ronnie made my VIB experience really fun and light and has a great eye for picking beautiful dresses! I finally ended up finding my dress! Only thing I would suggest is to make a bow or signify which dresses are 20+. As a plus bride it is disheartening to sift through the dresses and find the pretty ones not your size! Great shop, definitely recommend.

Strut Bridal was the first and only bridal salon I went to! It felt so amazing to be able to actually try on dresses and get an idea of what they truly would look like! I had the pleasure of working with Brooke - she was, hands-down, the best consultant ever! She was open to my ideas and helped me to nail down my vision. She made my dress dreams come true! I also worked with the seamstress who worked with the salon which was such a great experience! I decided to add straps to my dress and she did so with such ease! It looked like the dress was made that way! I am so incredibly happy with them on all levels! My mother and mother-in-law also got dresses from them and they treated them with such respect!

Brooke the queen of the dress shopping experience
I like many other brides these days had to find my dress in the middle of a pandemic, while this wasn’t ideal... I was blessed enough to run into Brooke. She did a virtual appointment and the first dress she pulled on that happened to be the dress I bought, ladies... she really is that good! She makes you feel amazing but not in a weird fake way, it’s genuine she’s honest and helps find things that fit YOU and your body type. The entire bridal boutique is incredible from the owner, to the manager, to the woman who tailored my dress. Prices are great. I loved going for my dress fittings they were fun!

The Best Wedding Dress Shopping Experience!
I just want to first say that I am a very self conscious type of person and when I first went shopping for dresses I could not find anything I liked in my size or find anything I felt beautiful in. I went home crying after a day of trying on dresses and discovered Strut after doing some online research. I called a couple times before and after I made my appointment and I got super excited just talking to them and overall more comfortable with the whole dress shopping experience. I eventually went to my appointment at their Tempe, AZ location. I tried on a few dresses and shortly after I ended up saying yes to a beautiful gown! Brooke was the person to assist me that day and she was not only a great help but super kind and helped me with my confidence. I also got a nice postcard in the mail from her that congratulated me.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Brooke at the Strut Tempe location. She is a diamond in the rough! My mom and I had gone to another bridal shop earlier in the day and we found a dress that we sort of liked, but definitely wasn’t in love. Got to Strut and Brooke let us go through the store on our own - no pressure at all. It was dress number 2 that had me catch my breath. We put on a veil and I could feel the tears coming. Brooke handed me a fake bouquet , had me close my eyes and count down from 5. When I opened my eyes I burst into tears and I knew. Thank you Brooke for giving me that experience.

Finding a plus size wedding dress can be stressful since places like David's Bridal have selections that are limited for plus sizes. I was so happy to find Strut because they really understand what works or doesn't work in the plus size world. My stylist, Brooke, made me feel practically like royalty. She even joked about the fact that she's not a plus size and put me at ease immediately. Your insecurities go poof! Gone! You feel her passion for what she does and it was contagious. Having that personalized service experience was well worth the $, as was the dress.

I got my dress from Strut in Tempe, AZ and am in love. As a bigger girl, I was dreading the time that I would have to try on my wedding dress. I was afraid that nothing would fit and I would feel self conscious. I put this appointment off for so long. When I found out about a Strut, I took a leap and made my appointment. All I can say is that I wish I did it months earlier. Ronnie Benavidez helped me find the perfect dress- actually, I fell in love with three dresses! Ronnie & the girls at Strut made me feel like a beautiful bride from the second I walked in. If you have any reservations about going, let them go. You will truly love it and them. Thank you Strut & Ronnie for making my bridal experience one for the books!

I must begin by stating how WRETCHED my dress shopping experience was for the first 3 shops I went to... NO BRIDE SHOULD EEEEEEVER be made to feel as unattractive as I did at those other salons. I am a solid size 16/18 and at the first store the woman brought me a 6, 8, & 10 to try on... My Bridesmaid & Matron of Honor had to go pull dresses themselves. It was mortifying! I called strut to see if they had a few dresses I was interested in and the woman in the other end of the phone was unlike anyone I had spoken to this far. She was INSTANTLY vested in my happiness. Disheartened that I didn't want to try on more dresses as a plus size bride. I knew I'd end up going to strut, but I needed to set a time with my girls.
Before I made the appointment@Strut I stopped in to one shop that had a series of 10 different dresses I'd seen online. This was the 3rd shop! I hated nearly everything, but hey.... they fit! Then I randomly saw one and asked to add it to the mix. It was an Allure gown (size 20) but there was*something* about this dress that I just needed to see, so I was sausaged into it. Couldn't even get my arms in the sleeves!
I called 15 stores in AZ. no one had a 24. Then I spoke to Strut! They didn't have it in Phx, but the location in California did.
These amazing ladies helped me get it shipped out to PHX so I could try it on! I stopped in randomly to pay for the shipping and got to meet the voice from the phone- it was Brooke! We spent an hour going thru the salon talking about dresses and textures and just joking and getting to know each other.
BROOKE IS A GOD SEND!!!!!!!!!!! She calmed my nerves instantly. I thought I was just a bride that wasn't going to get emotional about her dress. SOOOOOOOOOOOO wrong! The minute Brooke began buttoning the back of the gown I started shaking and I hadn't even seen it yet. Brooke reassured me every step of the way. NEVER pressured me about anything, and made everything so effortless!!!!!!
She even put me in a dress I *never* thought I'd look good in... If I hadn't gotten the Allure, I would have gotten that one! Lol
Brooke, you and your ladies are UNBELIEVABLE! Thank you! You changed my ENTIRE experience.

Incredible experience
Ladies, I was so nervous to go dress shopping and let me tell you...Strut made the experience amazing. I feared tears in the dressing room because things didn’t fit and nothing is farther from the truth! They have an amazing selection of dresses for curvy brides. I was so nervous to book and luckily the owner Ann was on the line. She assured me it would be great, I didn’t have to lose weight and come back in two months..I’d find something wonderful and I did! Ronnie was phenomenal too, highly recommend her and having a VIB appointment. We had the place to ourselves, yummy snacks and bubbly, it was a special day!!

My experience at Strut was amazing. I worked with Ronnie and before I knew it she pulled dresses based on what I told her I was looking for. She was professional and no nonsense. If I wasn’t sure about a style she was honest with me and helped me move forward with a dress better suited for me. The whole staff made me feel very comfortable and I didn’t feel any pressure to buy that day. This was my first dress shop I went to and my last because I found the dress of my dreams! They also have a awesome payment plan! You can put 25% of the price down day of purchase - but also move that money towards another dress (only once) if you change your mind, this is what I ended up doing. Moving forward, you have to pay 50% of your dress to have it ordered (they recommend ordering your dress up to 6 months from your wedding date) then by the time your dress arrives, you have to pay the balance to take it home. Overall, an super easy, personalized experience at Strut and I highly recommend!

Go you won’t regret it!
I love this place! As a pulse size (18) bride going to normal bridal shops left me crying and in the lowest self confidence ever in my life and I love my body! They typically put you in at most a 12 and tell you to picture how it would look in your size... STRUT doesn’t do that! They put you in the size you are or bigger. And damn did It feel good to just be in dresses that fit!
I walked in feeling defeated but they turned that around real quick! I had told them ahead of time the type of skirt I was looking for. I arrived and they had my name on the board and greeted me with the most genuine smile. I talked to my stylist telling her how horrible my experiences have been and how I need a win. She apologized on the behalf of the industry and promised I will leave with smile and probably a dress. She pulled the dresses (or similar ones) that i asked for before the meeting. Trying them on I realize this wasn’t what was what I actually was going to look good in. The stylist asked if I was willing to leave the ball gown dress behind and adventure into a different fit. I reluctantly agreed. She pulled a dress my mom and sister had asked about when we 1st walked in and looked at their dresses. I tried it on and it fit really well. After taking my mind out of the ball gown I fell in love! Yes I ugly cried... I stayed in the dress and asked question. I wanted a corseted dress and this was zipper. They said that they can see if it will be able to be ordered that way and if not then their seamstress would be able to do it! She was there and confirmed all the alterations I wanted to add to the dress (sequins and sleeves). I didn’t have one problem and DID leave with a smile and a dress.
I returned to pick up my dress a month ago and put it on and didn’t want to take it off it fit perfectly! I go back in April for alterations!
I can’t recommend this place enough! If i could give it more stars I would. My cousins fiancé actually found her dress here as well!
If you are a “plus size” bride you don’t need to go anywhere else!
Just a heads up parking is scarce. I recommend to park in the parking lot across the street.

I was frustrated to tears because every shop I went to only had two or three plus size options. At the third shop we went to, we asked in desperation, where do plus size brides go to find their dresses? The answer: Strut Bridal Salon. From the first moment, I felt welcomed, supported, and beautiful. Ronnie wasn't fazed that I walked in without an appointment, or that I was getting married in less than six weeks, or that I needed a modest dress. She provided me with lots of options within my budget. Not only was I able to actually try on a wedding dress, I fell in love with the second dress I tried on. My new husband may have shed a tear or two when he saw me for the first time. Thanks to Ronnie and the rest of the Arizona Strut staff. You're a godsend!

I've been here before, but this time I was blown away by the selection and amazing customer service I received. This time I came in for my wedding dress. I'd been to other stores and was disappointed by the selection, style, and prices of the plus size dresses available. Who wants to look like they're wearing their grandmothers tablecloth for $3K? I walked in knowing the style I wanted and I wasn't going to leave without the dress I envisioned in my head. Thanks to my consultant Ronnie, I walked out with something COMPLETELY different and 100% over the moon in love with it. Ronnie really listened to me, made adjustments where needed, was incredibly helpful, hilarious, and even pulled off her own petticoat so that I could see how the dress would look. I never felt neglected or like I was wasting her time, and she made me feel like an important customer even though my budget for the dress was fairly low. There was a small issue after the fact with my bridesmaids dresses (which we also got there), but she made sure to go over all the details. It ended up not costing any extra and my bridesmaids are actually happier now. You can bet your bustle I'll be back for any of my fancy dress shopping needs.

What an amazing experience. As a plus size bride I was a little scared to go dress shopping especially with some physical limitations. My consultant Helen Van Hamme was so understanding and patient. So willingly and understanding with my physical limitations. I cannot wait for my wedding day. I can't wait for my fiance to see me walk down the isle.

I don't know where to even start with how great my experience was with Strut Bridal! From the moment I called, I had great customer service. I had already scheduled 2 other appointments at other shops and decided to call Strut to schedule an appointment per a recommendation from a friend. I am so glad I did! I spoke with Ronnie and she gave me a brief review on their shop and asked me questions about my wedding day and vision for my dress. None of the other shops had asked me anything more than my name and what time I wanted to come. I was coming from out of town and happened to go to Strut first to try on dresses. Ronnie had picked out a few options for me and let my family and friends help look for others. It only took 5 dresses before I found "the one" and thanks to and awesome deal, I ended up with a second dress for my reception! Thank you so much Ronnie!

I'd tried on other dresses at other wedding dress shops before heading to Strut Bridal. I wish that Strut had been my first experience trying on dresses.
When I called to make the appointment they asked questions that the other places hadn't; basic questions like, what's your budget? Pretty sure that's an industry standard, but nobody else had asked. I was so appreciative of their attentiveness and their knowledge. That phone call boded well for my appointment.
When I arrived at the shop Cynthia greeted me right away, sat me down with a questionnaire, and listened to my likes and dislikes. My mom, sister, and cousin were then led to a try-on area where there was private seating and a mirror. It felt personalized and special. Cynthia pulled several gowns based on my likes and the photo that I shared. The owner w even got on the phone trying to contact the designer of one of the skirts I was interested in to see if it came in my dream color. Wow! As it turned out, I didn't actually go with what I'd intended because Cynthia hit it out of the park and I found my dress!! What I went with was slightly different from what I'd originally thought or dreamt of, but I couldn't be happier. I can't stop staring at the pictures of me in my dress! :) Then today, a week after my appointment, I received the sweetest handwritten note from Cynthia about my appointment and my wedding. What an amazing personal touch in a world of customer service that's very much the opposite.
Every interaction I had with Strut from start to finish was what I'd always imagined shopping for a wedding dress would be like. I can't recommend them enough and I can't wait until October to return to the shop and try on my dress!! Thank you, Cynthia and Strut Bridal.

I made an appointment at Strut Bridal a couple of weeks ago. This was going to be my last stop before returning to David’s Bridal to make my final decision. I had already decided which dress I wanted from David’s, but I wasn’t sure which color I wanted. I started this process thinking I wanted a long sleeved ivory and lace dress. When I walked into Strut, I met my stylist Ashlei. She sat down with me and really took the time to get to know me and my personality. I went to Strut Bridal by myself so that I didn’t have other opinions influencing mine. Ashlei said she had a dress that she wanted me to just try because she thought it matched my personality. You know how they say you’ll know when it’s the one? Well, I hadn’t had that moment until Ashlei put me in my pink ruffled dress. That was it! I shed a few tears and I couldn’t stop looking and taking pictures. I knew it was the one! I ordered it that day and called to cancel my appointment with David’s that was scheduled an hour later. I received an email letting me know that my dress has been ordered and is scheduled to ship late November. I’m so excited to wear this dress while I marry the love of my life in February 2018. Strut is awesome and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

As a plus size bride, there is nothing more frustrating than visiting a bridal salon only to find out the largest dress they carry is a 10. Just saying, other bridal stores should buy larger and pin smaller girls into the dress, but what do I know. Anywho, I saw Strut at the Arizona Bridal Show a few times and figured I'd try it out. I found my dress during the first visit! So I bought the dress. A week later I changed my mind on the color but according to my paper work, once the order was placed I couldn't change anything. So I called to just see if there was ANY way to change the color. I received a call back within 30 minutes saying they were able to change the color!! It was such a weight lifted and it made me more excited for my dress. My dress hasn't come in yet but as of right now I am a happy camper and have no doubt that the rest of my experience will be flawless!!

Strut has been amazing so far! I have ordered my dress and it is due to be here in September. My initial appointment was beautiful. It was just my mom and I in the salon and my stylist took care of us so well. She was a total sweet heart and let me set the pace of the appointment. I felt completely comfortable with her. I didn't feel like I had to hide my body or make excuses for my flabby arms or my chubby tummy... I just felt beautiful, messy bun and all. My second appointment was to just re measure me, it was also nice. This time there were two girls prom dress shopping in the store and the stylist did a fantastic job of hopping from me to them. I was able to try my dress on again so we could order the correct size and she took the time so that I knew I was making the right decision. 10/10 would recommend Strut. I was so thankful to have a plus size salon to turn to. I never imagined I would have a dream dress for a decent price at my size. They took payments which also was a huge help! LOVE LOVE LOVE STRUT!

You won't waste your time here. All of the dresses are so unique that it makes you feel like you are one and only. I am so glad I didn't settle. I found my dream dress and the ladies were so helpful. You can make payments which makes everything so much easier and less stressful. When I walked in, the ladies saw my vision and put it together piece by piece. I also received a little note congratulating me on my purchase which I found to be very thoughtful and a memory I will cherish forever.

Strut has all different kinds of dresses and styles (some I have never seen!) They also have prom and other occasion dresses. Jewels is amazing, she made me feel beautiful in everything I tried and told me what she thought about each dress! I am happy to say "I found my dress at Strut Bridal" and I LOVE IT! :)
**Side note: If you have bigger boobs bring in a bra corset- their sizes are limited (if you are not sure, call them! They are super helpful)

3 words: Yulina, Yulina, Yulina! I had come into Strut immediately following an appointment at a shop that claimed to have plus size samples when in fact, they did not. I was frustrated and let down but boy did that change when I walked into Strut. I was introduced to my stylist Yulina, who right away asked me direct and clear questions about what I liked about this and that dress. Before I knew it, she had helped me pick out about 5 and into the dressing room I went. Yulina was so positive but yet honest about what she thought looked best on me. I really felt like I was shopping with a friend rather than a sales person who was just out to make a commission. If you can, book your appointment with Yulina. She is a tiny little thing but she sure does know what looks best on some curves! I loved how all of the ladies at Strut are so outgoing and truly seem to enjoy their job. The place really does have a family feel. Oh and even after I thought I had decided on the right dress, I had 2nd thoughts about another dress I loved as well. As soon as I called Yulina, she remembered me and encouraged me to come back in asap because she wanted me to LOVE my dress. I came back in, tried on the other dress (she made me a next day appointment btw and I don't think any other shop would have done that on a weekend) and decided on that one instead. Bottom line- Yulina totally could have pulled the "no you looked good- don't rock the boat" thing but she didn't. Instead, she went out of her way to set aside more time to ensure that I found my dream dress!

After spending the whole day searching for a wedding dress and finding nothing, I was just about to give up on finding one until. I contacted Strut Bridal Salon in Tempe, AZ and they were so excited to help me. They took me in with no appointment and was destined to help me turn my day around and make my dream dress come true.
Once I arrived to the bridal shop the greeting was impeccable and the vibe was nothing the like the previous shops I had visited earlier in the day. My bridal consultant was Hannah and her customer service was impeccable. Hannah not only took the time to get to know me and understand my vision she fitted right in with my crew and it was like family.
I was so impressed the first dress she put me in blew me away and was everything I ever wanted. Hannah has a true eye for fashion and knows how to connect with the Brides. I would defiantly recommend Strut Bridal Salon, for all your wedding party needs from Brides, bridesmaid and mother of the bride attire. A++++++++

I loved Strut so much when my sister bought her dress there that I first went back for my prom dress and then later for my wedding dress! As a more conservative bride, it was a real struggle finding a dress that had what I wanted (e.g. sleeves, higher neckline, etc.). Chandler, my stylist, did everything she possibly could to make me feel comfortable in every dress I tried on! She was so creative! She tried having me wearing little lace jackets backwards and helped me construct and envision the sleeves I later decided to add to my dress (instead of buying one of theirs that already had them). She also worked very hard without being dramatic or making comments about how low it was to stay in my decently tight budget, which was super sweet.

Strut Bridal was the first place I went to during my dress search. I then went to other places, but in all honesty, their exemplary customer service brought me back. They are courteous, responsive, realistic, and fun. The staff is great, super helpful, and experienced! Maritza is amazing and will have you feeling like she's known you for years in no time! She is incredibly patient which is highly appreciated during a stressful time. She was great with helping me into my dresses, which surprised me as this is not the norm at every salon. Customer service is unfortunately hard to come across these days, but the Strut ladies provide it so effortlessly. I purchased my dress from here in October, won't consultant was Brooke and she was soo awesome! I had an appointment at another store before my apt at Strut and it it didn't go good at all they claimed to have plus size but I could barely get any dresses on to even envision ordering it in my size, Needless to say I was so nervous I wasn't going to find "My Dress". Brooke made me feel sooo comfortable and made my experience one to remember she even interacted and had good conversation w my sisters/bridesmaids and my mother! I definitely recommend them!

Strut Bridal is the best! I booked a Deluxe Bridal Appointment and brought along my Mom and four bridesmaids. My Bridal consultant was Chandler & Jess was also helping out. Chandler & Jess went above and beyond to make my dress shopping a WONDERFUL experience. I was incredibly nervous about gown shopping especially since my Mom and I did not agree on styles, but Chandler was always in my corner and helped keep things under control. I didn't have a specific dress style in mind, so Chandler gathered what I liked/didn't like and was able to put together my dream dress from Strut's Custom Collection! I highly, HIGHLY recommend Strut Bridal Salon! They truly care about what YOU want and will do their BEST to get you your dream wedding dress!

Way better than David's Bridal, they didn't seem to care much or listen at all to my price range and my preferences, Strut did all of that and more. Strut is the perfect place to go wedding dress shopping! I'm not plus size but everywhere I went I had horrible luck with the size of my chest, I though I might get turned away because they are a plus size store but they still helped me. I found my perfect dress there with the help of Brooke, who was fantastic and listened to my every idea of what I was looking for, all my worries and had no problem telling me if a dress was not for me, the honesty was a relief and felt like she really wanted to help me, not just make a sale! I would highly recommend going here, you'll enjoy your experience and the crew is amazing!

I did not believe that the "wow" feeling existed for me, but boy was I wrong. I came in to Strut in a panic after my dress from Alfred Angelo was a complete bust. I was nervous and jaded about the dress buying process, but the girls at Strut made everything such a GREAT experience.
Initially, they put a dress in the dressing room that I didn't think I was going to like at all. On the hanger it was just.. eh. When I put it on, it felt like the skies opened and the heavens were singing because I FOUND THE ONE!
I was literally going "OK, CAN I GIVE YOU MY MONEY NOW? LIKE RIGHT NOW?" I am a last minute bride, so that means they could only pull certain styles for me. I thought that meant samples ONLY, but no.. they did something that no other salon ever did for me, look and see if my size was in stock so they could order it and rush it over.
So.. in one week, I am going to receive the dress of my dreams. Not in a month, not in 4 months, not in 6 months, in ONE WEEK!
Thank you so much, Strut! You definitely brightened up this bride's YEAR.

My first experience was great then it went sour but it ended up being a happy ending. I was told my original dress could be altered and that ended up not being the case.
Tamiko let me exchange my dress, found a seamstress at the last minute and covered the alterations on my new dress just in time for the wedding. A big thank you to her and the seamstress, Lara, for making my wedding day stress-free and turning my bad experience into a great one.

Amazing! I am so glad I found Strut Bridal! Let me first mention that at the beginning of my wedding journey, my dress was one of things that was low on my priority list. I wasn’t too excited about shopping for a dress, since I am not a dress kinda gal, so I was wasn’t too concerned with what type of dress I got. As long as it fit, and looked half way decent I was going be happy. But that is definitely not how it went down. I first picked a couple dresses to try on, for the sake of not wasting anyone’s time. I spotted one that I though was pretty but knew it would never look good on me. Brooke was so helpful during the entire process! I tried on the dress and to my surprise it was the PERFECT dress. I didn’t even need to try on any others. I never believed that people have “that moment” when they find their dress…but it’s real, and I have Strut Bridal to thank for that. Finding my dress turned out to be the most special part of the whole experience so far. My dress has been ordered and I can’t wait for it to come in!

I came in for their once a year annual sale the day before the main event on a VIP appointment. At the time I was about 18 weeks pregnant and didn't plan to go dress shopping while pregnant however I knew I couldn't afford one of their dresses otherwise. My bridal consultant was Stephanie and she was adorable. Very helpful in showing the different styles (since I didn't know exactly what I wanted) and seemed open to help me try on as many as needed till I found something I really wanted. I picked out a dress and made the needed down payment and went on my way. Later that evening I was going through pictures on my phone of all the different dresses I tried on and I came across one that I didn't really give much attention to. All night I kept thinking of the other dress and how I really liked the way it looked just wasn't a fan of the straps as they were uncomfortable. So the next day I called and spoke with Ann (the store owner) and she had me text her the dress to see if it was still there (as this was the main day of the sale) and to ask one of their seamstresses (luckily she was at the store at the time I called!) if removing the straps was possible. She text me back quickly to let me know it was possible and I was able to switch out the dress I originally picked for the one I couldn't stop thinking about. They really went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase and would recommend this store to anyone looking for personal service and a wide selection of plus size dresses.

From there they choose options to try on but also helped open your mind to other choices as well. The prices were average as far a bridal gowns go. I had nothing but a positive experience at Strut Bridal! This was not my first bridal salon experience, but it definitely was the best. They have an actual variety of styles in larger sizes! Mind you, I am a 16, but other stores had a dismal amount of styles in my size, since many designers run 2-4 sizes smaller than street size. I was looking for a flowy and ethereal type of dress for my forest wedding, and it was impossible to find at other stores. My stylist, Stephanie, was absolutely amazing! She made me feel comfortable. She LISTENED to what I wanted, and every gown she pulled was something I really liked. She was a PRO at pinning me in the dresses, not every stylist can give you a good idea of what the dress will look like after alterations. I never felt rushed, or pressured. I actually had fun at this appointment, I left SMILING. Other stores I left in tears, and NOT in the good way. It was an hour drive to get there for me, and it was absolutely worth it! Don't let where other bridal stores are limited define what you should wear on your wedding day!

I had a busy weekend shopping for the perfect wedding dress. We went to six different bridal shops in two days. Strut was the first place I went to and the last, where I said yes to the dress! I couldn't be happier with the dress and stylist, Stephanie, who made me feel incredible every minute! I left saying "I want to be friends with her" because she made me feel confident and really took the time to make sure I was getting what I wanted! I would highly recommend shopping at Strut if you are a curvy girl. Their dresses are very unique and will flatter every curve! I was dreading to shop for a wedding dress. Knowing that dress shops cater to petite bodies. I found Strut through a wedding blog. I almost settled on a dress at David's bridal and paid more for a dress I wasn't 100% in love with. My appointment was with Maritza. She was very patient with me and quick. I was able to try on a good amount of dresses during my time there. Near the end of my appointment I was looking through the racks and found the one. I asked my maid of honor if it was too plain but she said try it on. It was everything I wanted. It has back details, the silhouette gives me shape and it's light. It's simple but detailed. Even though Maritza had another appointment coming in, she didn't rush me and gently encouraged me to get the dress. I was debating on another dress. The girls working there knew that was the dress for me. Even my maid of honor knew it was my dress. I finally said yes to the dress. I was lucky I didnt have to pay for rush delivery. It's coming in a month before my wedding. I was quoted an earlier date. So I'm still waiting for it to come in. The dress I chose is a private label, it's nice to know that my dress is unique and not mass produced. The store may seem plain but they had a good selection of different styles. The prices are reasonable. I had a pleasant experience at Struts in Long Beach and recommend them to curvy girls.

Strut was the third store that I visited when looking for my wedding dress. While the first two experiences were great, Strut blew them out of the water.
Strut was accommodating from the first phone call. They called me to confirm my appointment and we discussed my larger party that would be joining me on the day. They assured me that there would be no issue accommodating my entourage! Upon our arrival, we were greeted by three smiling faces. Ann came over and told us they were wrapping up an appointment and she would be right back. After looking through the images of the dresses that I had already tried on (one of them potentially being THE one) she disappeared to find dresses for me. She then brought us all back to try on dresses.
To say that Ann is a master is an understatement. She did not measure me initially, but brought out 5 dresses that were an almost perfect fit in the sample sizes. She was more than accommodating as I asked to try on different accessories, belts, veils, and sleeves. She encouraged me to mix things up and made me feel totally comfortable. While she was a woman on a mission, she listened to EVERYTHING I had to say. After trying on a few dresses that fit my requirements she asked if she could put me in a dress that she had selected...I said yes, and boy am I glad that I did! That dress became THE one! I am so excited to go back for my first dress fitting and alterations in September.
I should mention that Ann is the owner of Strut Bridal; however, she never once mentioned that, or tried to pressure me into buying one of her dresses. All of her staff are friendly and understand the needs of a curvy lady. They encourage you to embrace your curves and best features, but understand your concerns too.
I highly recommend that you visit Strut if you are looking for your perfect dress!

I worked with Natasha. I went in skeptical that I would find my dress. I had been to other shops and decided to just go in to see what I found. I ended up finding THE ONE! My dress is perfect and I can't wait to wear it again on my wedding day. Natasha helped me out with sincere feedback, never pushy and although I did not have an appointment, she made me feel welcome and helped me out tremendously. It was such a relief walking into Strut and being totally comfortable. I had been to two other shops that had a range of sizes from 0 to 30 and they had maybe 2 or 3 dresses in my size that I could try on. I almost settled for a dress because I didn't think I would find anything else. I came to Strut and worked with Ashley. It was an AWESOME experience. She was very nice and extremely helpful. She understood what I was looking for, and understood that I had to stay under a certain amount. I found THE dress. I am absolutely in love with it! I love their pricing and the fact they have a discount if you purchase it the same day - super helpful! A few weeks like, I found the dress in a shop in Tucson and it was $1000 MORE! I couldn't believe it. I am so happy I made the drive from Tucson to go to Strut! TOTALLY WORTH IT!

I had almost 15 people come to see the fitting. We tried coming in on Saturday but they could not accommodate that many people... So they gave me a late Tuesday appointment and closed the store!!! I had an amazing experience here. The first time I visited Strut was for my sisters wedding two years ago and it was a beautiful experience. So when I got engaged in September and began to plan my wedding, I immediately knew where I was going to get my dress! Being a plus size bride can be tough, but when you're at Strut all those worries are out the door. Tamiko helped me out on my day & I can't thank her enough. My three bridesmaids, my mom, and I had such a wonderful afternoon at Strut Bridal! AND, most importantly, we found the perfect dress for my wedding. Ashley listened carefully to what I wanted in my wedding dress, and she pulled dresses that matched that perfectly, as well as presenting a few other ideas that she thought would work well for me. She & the other staff members were kind, patient, and generous with their time and expertise. I couldn't have asked for a better dress shopping experience, and I can't wait to see my dress when it arrives in June! Thank you to Strut and Ashley!

First let me start by saying how warm and welcoming Elizabeth is. She greeted me with a bright smile and made me feel extremely comfortable and welcome while shopping by myself. She was attentive and thorough and helped me find my dream dress when NO other boutiques would be able to get my dress in time or spend the time helping me find my dream dress! No only was she attentive but really made me feel special and answered all my questions I had. Even after I ordered my dress she has continued to be through and has given me updates about my dress. Most places you have to communicate with them and chase them down so I really appreciate her reaching out to me durning this busy hectic time! Elizabeth was also so kind to honor a promotion they had a week prior even though it had ended. STRUT bridal thank you for providing me the experience every bride should have!

I was pleasantly surprised at the selection I was able to find at Strut! I had tried on at a few other places and and had narrowed down the basics of what I was looking for. Elizabeth listened to my inexperienced wedding lingo and helped me try on beautiful wedding dress after beautiful wedding dress. I felt like each dress helped to accentuate my curves instead of making me want to hide them. Finally, I found the perfect dress! I highly recommend Strut to anyone looking to feel confident in their body and a very personal touch!

The selection at Strut is amazing for plus sized brides. They make sure you are comfortable and really listen to your wishes so they are able to find you your dream dress! I would 100% recommend.

I visited Strut back in November and it was the best dress shopping experience! Not having the best luck at other shops I went to, I was really crossing my fingers! Ashley helped me find the perfect wedding dress! She was super patient, helpful and really listened to my likes/dislikes when trying on multiple dresses. The store has plenty of wedding dresses and options to choose from and the staff makes you feel comfortable as ever!

Absolutely adore my dress from Strut! My husband and I decided to have an elopement type deal and I walked into Strut with about 4 weeks until the date we selected. After 2 dresses I had selected and hated on the wonderful stylist (so sorry to not remember her name, she has long blonde hair) brought out a selection of her own. I tried it on and bam! It was the one. Fit me like a glove up top and I only needed the hem altered because I'm so short. Wish I could upload a picture! I highly reccomend Strut to all women who are made to feel anything but beautiful when they visit another shop. Feel beautiful, go to Strut!

I can not say enough good things about Strut Bridal. I am a larger bride and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a dress I like. Let alone dresses I could try on. I tried David's bridal first and the one dress I liked my wedding party didn't.
Our next try was at Strut. After trying on three dresses and having the same problem, the one I liked wasn't the one my party liked, I found my dress. I found it hanging on the rack and when I tried it on everyone had the "moment".
Everyone at Strut was amazing. They were very patient with us and made the whole process very fun. I liked them so much that we also purchased the bridesmaids dresses here.
I also used Vicky to do the alterations. She did an amazing job on my dress.

I live 2 hours away from this Bridal salon and happened to be nearby so I decided to go on a whim. I didn't make an appointment ahead of time, and it wasn't a problem. Ashley took care of me and made me feel comfortable. I had some pictures of a dress I liked and we picked out 5 dresses that were comparable. She chose the 5th dress and it ended up being THE ONE!! It was the first place I'd gone to try on a dress and I'm so glad because everything was perfect. I will say this, if you're looking for something cheap/inexpensive, this isn't the place for you. But if you are looking for a gorgeous dress made for a larger body, with fantastic materials, and excellent service then it is worth every single penny!
