We are so glad Strings Attached was a part of our big day! We loved how special the musicians made our wedding ceremony. It added such a lovely touch! James was very easy to communicate with! They are a very talented group and I would highly recommend Strings Attached!! -

James and his musicians were very professional and incredible! Each song that they played, you could recognize, and they sounded amazing! James also helped me tremendously in preparing the pieces that I wanted for our wedding. He was also able to arrange two songs that we wanted to include in our ceremony, that were not included in their song selection list. Furthermore, James also went out of his way to meet me at the venue and review the length of each song that we had chosen, after I couldn't decide how many songs I wanted to be played during the processional. Along with this, James would also communicate with me on how the ceremony and the music would be put together, which made me feel very confident that everything would run smoothly, and it did! I would highly recommend Strings Attached! They are remarkable musicians, very professional, and sound amazing! -

James, our lead musician, was amazing! He was very responsive when helping us select certain songs and guided us through the entire process. We gave the quarter creative license to play what they wanted in a certain genre during cocktail hour and while guests were being seated and it turned out great! All of our guests were pleased with the song selection and were impressed by the performance. I would HIGHLY recommend Strings Attached to ANYBODY looking for a little extra "wow" for their wedding. -

James and his fellow musicians with Strings Attached were amazing. Very professional, courteous and outgoing. James worked with me ahead of the to plan the music for our event and followed through perfectly. When a horrible storm moved our event inside, James and the other musicians were not phased with our 'plan B' and were set up ready to go! I would definitely work with them again. I have been receiving non stop compliments about the violin quartet sine the wedding! They have such a wide repertoire that I was able to choose from all genres for the wedding. Even songs that were not included in the repertoire they were able to play at my request!! I will forever recommend Strings Attached Houston to anyone. Wonderful to do business with them! I always knew I wanted a string quartet for my wedding...they played during our ceremony and cocktail hour. Competitively priced, wonderful song selections (and they even played some new stuff I specially requested - for instance the string quartet arrangement for Human Nature by Michael Jackson-it was gorgeous). We paid for the rehearsal time, which I thought was beneficial, but they're pros and you can skip the extra fee if you don't have the budget for it. I 100% recommend them due to their professionalism, quality of musicians (everyone that plays with them are professional musicians so this is how they earn their living and it shows). Plus, you can pay all invoices electronically, which helped make tracking expenses easier for us. All of my guests loved having the live entertainment and were super impressed with the song selections (we had a mixture of classical and popular music for our day). -

James and the other musicians were wonderful. Though I did not hear any of their music because I had to walk down the isle, but I was told by several guest that they were terrific. My husband and I had a special request before I was to walk out. I did hear all the guest laugh, which was what we were hoping to happen. Strings Attached just helped complete the beautiful ambiance, elegance and class my husband and I were looking for. -

I heard some "Strings Attached" musicians play at an event and thought they sounded beautiful, and I knew I had to have them for my wedding. My fiancé thought that having the strings wasn't necessary and that the money could be spent in a different way, but since the wedding has come and gone he has apologized multiple times because of how amazing they ended up being! I can't tell you how many people came up to me and asked me about the music and complimented me on how amazing they sounded. All in all everyone was really impressed, and I wish that I could have heard more of them! (Since I was in a different room until I walked down the aisle). I would honestly recommend Strings Attached to anyone having a wedding. It really added a unique and classy touch to our ceremony. I can't say enough good things! -

One of the best vendors I had for my wedding. I met with James months before my wedding to plan out my music choices. He was so nice and had so many ideas. He kept in touch with me throughout the months for my wedding, he even was flexible when my wedding venue made drastic changes to the layout of my wedding. On the day of, he arrived early and setup. The whole crew was very professional and of course played awesome music. -

I honestly thought having a string quartet was going to be one of the higher costs (fancy right?) but this group is reasonably priced and still very professional.
Deanna and James were both awesome to work with - very friendly and Deanna even referred me to a few other vendors for other services I was looking for that I ended up using. James also helped make some recommendations for timing the song I was choosing to walk down the aisle to.
They have a good repertoire and are more than willing to work with you on songs that they either have not yet purchased or that they may need to compose for you if they cannot find it to purchase. I particularly loved that they have modern pop songs in their repertoire.
They have a planning sheet and go over it with you before your event, and are responsive to any questions. I had been nervous that I didn't secure them for our rehearsal to practice timing (which they offer) but as I walked down the aisle it seemed to flow perfectly. Like other brides, I didn't get to hear much of the other music since I was hiding beforehand, but I heard good reviews from others. And the songs they played for our recessional/postlude were very nice.
I wish I had time that day to thank them personally but I was being whisked away for pictures, etc. and couldn't get to them before I left. I'm looking forward to my wedding video so I can hear more! I'll definitely keep them in mind if I ever have an event where I want a String Quartet again! -

Strings Attached Houston was wonderful to work with. From the very beginning, they were thorough and professional. I talked on the phone with them multiple times through out the process and they were always very helpful. Any question that I had, they answered it promptly and clearly. Even when I was disorganized and scattered, they were always friendly and willing to help. They were upfront about their cost, and in my opinion, their prices are very fair. The day of the wedding, they were equally as wonderful. The music was beautiful and perfect for the wedding. I would recommend Strings Attached Houston to any bride who is looking for live music during their ceremony. Even though I chose only classical pieces, their repertoire also includes modern pieces. They can do it all! -

James was AMAZING! I asked if I could walk down the aisle to something nontraditional and he made it work for me. They were super professional and actually met with us on multiple occasions to make sure we had everything we wanted. I would recommend and use them again in a heartbeat. -

Deanna went out to our venue well in advance of the wedding to check out the set-up. It had rained the week leading up to the wedding, and our ceremony was slated to take place outside. There was no covered nor paved place for the musicians to set up. When Deanna called me, she calmly explained that it was too big a risk for the instruments we had chosen but kindly offered to upgrade us to the string quartet at no extra charge. I really appreciated 1) her willingness to go out to our venue (it wasn't just around the corner) 2) her flexibility in providing not just a feasible solution, but a better one 3) the gentleness with which she handled the situation for a very stressed bride!
Additionally, the consultation went smoothly. I initially was fretting that they waited until ~1 week out from the wedding to call, but I had nothing to fear. It took all of 15 minutes to line up the ceremony music without any preparation on my part.
The music was PERFECT. Our guests loved the upbeat music that was played as they entered the ceremony site. (Especially "Happy"...I cannot tell you how many times guests still mention this!) We loved the mix of songs played and that we were able to steer away from some of the traditional music (we still did Canon in D, but used 100 Years by Five for Fighting for the bridal processional).
Overall, we loved working with Strings Attached. Everyone was SO friendly, made the process quick and easy, and the music was a hit. -

Thank you so much for providing the music for my daughter's wedding. James made sure to touch base with me several times prior to the ceremony to confirm the program and the music. I am very happy that we hired Strings Attached for the event. -

James, Deanna and the rest of the members of the quartet were so wonderful and EASY to work with! So much professionalism for someone his age. I wish all the vendors that i worked with went as smooth as it did with strings attached. I only wish i was present during cocktail hour so that i could hear their beautiful music! The guests really enjoyed listening to them. James was incredibly nice and i was immediately at ease with him when we rehearsed together for our wedding performance. -

I was recommended to Strings Attached by a family member studying music at Rice University. Booking with them was super easy and James was very helpful. They have a wide variety of songs and the fee to turn your favorite song into an arrangement is very reasonable. Also -- if it's a hymn -- James said they can often find the sheet music online or a hymnal and then they don't charge you for that. They showed up on time, looking professional, and played beautifully. -

The music on our day from James was beautiful; I wouldn't have had it any other way--it was so gorgeous and a one of a kind atmosphere! He really worked with me to get me the exact arrangements that I wanted at certain lengths, and even worked with our vocalist to make an arrangement in a certain key. He had great ideas when we met and guided me through the whole process with professionalism and creativity. He was pretty responsive to all mediums of email, text, and phone calls. The value was also fantastic!
Our only source of stress was that the ensemble got to the venue on the day of the wedding a bit later than initially established due to traffic/unforeseen circumstances, which made us have to rush around a bit to do some last minute rehearsing. Otherwise, all was great, and our string quartet really set the mood for our wedding, and I'm so glad we did it! Thank you! -

Very unhappy with the service. We spend weeks going back and forth via email and actually had a phone conference about a week ahead of time with a representative of the company about exactly what was wanted. We specifically chose this vendor because of the specialty services they could provide. We chose a specialty song from the list they provided and paid to have a specific song composed. When the day of the wedding came the musicians did not have our specialty music at all. They did not have the prelude song or the postlude song. An hour before the wedding we had to scramble, the maid of honor had to get a laptop, find a printer and look up the prelude music online. The postlude we could not find (which was special to my husband-this was the song he chose). In essence we did half the requested work for the company. My issue is that, while we were reimburse the cost that we paid for postlude song and a small amount of what we paid it did not make up for the hour lost on my wedding day. I feel that compensation of half of (large) fee we paid would have been sufficient. The employee we spoke with on the phone, James, flat out lied about the discussion we had. We do not recommend this vendor - there are other companies that we feel confident would do just as well at a lesser cost with much less hassle. -

Do NOT use Strings Attached Houston!!! The quality of the music was wonderful, but the company told the musicians the wrong start time and as a result the musicians arrived 30 minutes late for the ceremony and then left early!! James Beauchamp was our "Client Consultant" but he didn't show up at the ceremony at all. When I spoke to him about it he apologized and promised a refund but the refund never arrived and he has been totally unresponsive to my repeated phone calls and emails for over two months now, as has his wife Deanna. My actual rating of this company is a ZERO but the lowest the system allows is a 0.5. We paid $750 and were completely cheated and seem to have no recourse since the company will not return phone calls or email. Buyer beware... -

Very upset with this company. My music consultant did not respond to any of my emails, and when he responded to my texts he did not do what I asked (which was to change one song and get a copy of the music playlist). They were suppose to arrive 15mis before the ceremony for guests to enjoy, but they got their barley on time for the ceremony. I paid for an hr of their service and they only stayed about 20 minuets and just left. I paid a lot of money and was very excited they were playing for my wedding, but they really dropped the ball on this. I will be calling them soon to demand some sort of refund as they only provided half of the paid service. -

Very unprofessional ! The week of my wedding it was impossible to get ahold of James Beauchamp. I called him, day of wedding coordinator called him, my maid of honor called and nothing. He finally responded the day of the wedding and was rude to my day of wedding coordinator. The string trio showed up way too soon and stated that their hour started 20 minutes before the 3pm ceremony actually started. That is not the proper way your wedding should start, it was a very stressful experience. To make matter worse, when my coordinator called James back he was even more rude and said that's how it works with them, that they start before the ceremony. How does that make any sense? I specifically told James over and over and stated in the contract and the work sheets he emailed me, that the ceremony could not start any sooner than 3pm since the church had an event every hour. He changed our agreement last minute and did not even try and fix their error. The musicians did not even have the music schedule I emailed, so they did not even know what they should play. When I called James a few days after the wedding, he refused to even acknowledge their mistake and refused to pay me my money back for the 3 songs they played. I will be pursuing legal action. -

I purchased a string quartet with a vocalist through Strings Attached. I sat and discussed for a lengthy period of time what songs we wanted, when to play, when the vocalist would sing etc...I was assured James would show to the rehearsal, he did not. He sent the vocalist, who although very nice, was not aware of anything we had sat and discussed. At the time of the ceremony only two violists showed up without any sheet music or any idea of what was discussed to be performed at the wedding. I paid for three hours of service and this is not what I received. I was told the James was 1 1/2 hours away, however he never showed and never responded to my calls. He has yet to answer any of my calls or emails. I have called numerous phone numbers on his website again without any response. I would not recommend their services to anyone. They have been very unprofessional in the handling of this situation and have made no attempt to rectify this situation. -
