I’m so glad I found Jessica to do my wedding makeup. I cried more than I thought I would on the day of, but my makeup stayed flawless. Jessica is professional, responsive, and very talented. To top it off, her prices are unbeatable. I highly recommend her! -

Working with Jessica and her team for my friends wedding has been such a great experience. It was really easy to communicate with her to figure out the best possible schedule for the day. A couple of weeks before the wedding she asked for hair and make-up inspiration images for each of the bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and the bride. We emailed back and forth to really get the inspiration sorted out. This process was especially important for us because we were planning an out-of-state wedding and were not able to do a trial. On the day of the wedding Jessica and her hair stylist arrived on time and kept calm amidst all the wedding house chaos. All of us wanted really light, natural make-up looks as none of us wear make-up regularly. I can’t emphasize how Jessica really made sure to deliver exactly that. I really recommend Stress Away for the hair and make-up services, and to top it all, they also have great prices!! -

I am very thankful to have had Jessica from Stress Away as my hair and make up artist for my Memorial Day May 28, 2018 wedding! Her work is highly admirable for the price. I appreciate that she is very professional, personable, easy to work with, and creative! During our initial interactions, she was very responsive to messages over wedding wire and text. I had an original vision of woodsy, bohemian chic, long beach wavy hairdo with natural looking makeup. A great partner in the creative process, she took into consideration my dress, jewelry, and skin tone to tie together a hairdo and make up palette that made my vision come to life in ways I did not imagine! I highly recommend going to do the hair and make up trial with Jessica in Rockville, MD! I went with my mom to get both our hair and make up trials. Meeting in person, figuring out colors that work with your vision and skin tone, and creating bonds working together is important to the success of the big day. She was very patient with with our questions and helping my mom with finding a hair and make up look that worked to her liking. While she did not meet my bridesmaids until the day of, she made sure to ask for their hair and make up vision ahead of time!
For the "day of," Jessica and her assistant traveled to my home where my bridesmaids, mom, and I would be getting ready. She arrived early in the morning and did the hair and makeup artistry for me, my two bridesmaids, and my mother. I cannot reiterate how Jessica and her team were simply amazing to work with! She was really thoughtful with incorporating my bridesmaids hair/makeup visions into the overall bohemian chic theme of the wedding. Stress Away's wedding rates are very competitive and affordable especially for those on a budget! Included in the package was that Jessica would provide a number of hours for touch up before the ceremony, which was great to have just before even thought we actually ended up not needing it. Overall, Jessica is amazing, and anyone working with her is in great hands! -

I booked Stress Away to do hair and makeup for my bridesmaids. Jessica did makeup, while Barbara did hair. Both women were professional, arriving on time and sticking to their schedule (as best as anyone can on a wedding day!) to get all my girls ready in time.
Jessica does have a lighter touch with makeup, so be sure you/your girls let her know if you want your look to be a bit more glam! Jessica put on the fake eyelashes (we provided the lashes) for those that wanted them, and Barbara added the hair extensions one of my gals brought for herself. In the end, all the girls looked lovely!
They were responsive to all my questions throughout the planning process, and delivered quality results on the wedding day. Definitely recommend!

She was able to get all three of my girls' hair done in less than 2 hours and stuck around for us to get any touch-ups after we finished with make up. Thanks for everything, Jessica!
