Chelsea was so amazing! I contacted her last minute to come film my wedding, and she was so kind and helpful! Not only that, she put so much effort into her work, crafting a beautiful set of videos I will cherish forever. She replied quickly, and with care. She also got me the videos very fast, and they are excellent! I cannot recommend her enough! -

I could not recommend Chelsea more. Before the wedding weekend even started, she was incredibly helpful making sure our venue and band had all the right equipment so everything ran seamlessly. During the wedding, my dress broke and Chelsea was one of the first people to rush to my side with a sewing kit and safety pins. She truly went above and beyond.
And the videos… perfection. They captured every emotion so beautifully and were delivered unbelievably fast. My whole family cried all over again watching them. We’ll never stop replaying those memories. Thank you, Chelsea, for giving us something we’ll cherish forever.

Chelsea, I don’t even know how to thank you enough for what you and your partner did for us. When our original photographer had to cancel just two months before the wedding, you jumped in without hesitation and completely took over so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. You worked so hard from start to finish—keeping my family together long enough for portraits (seriously, a miracle) and making sure nothing was missed. You captured every moment—from the little details and getting ready with my girls, to our ceremony, portraits, and the wild dance floor—beautifully and effortlessly. I know it wasn’t an easy job, but you handled it with so much dedication and heart. Looking at the photos now, I see moments I didn’t even know were happening that day, and it’s the best gift we could have asked for. We’re so grateful for you both and for everything you put into making sure we’ll have these memories forever. -

We are so incredibly grateful for Chelsea with Stories Told By Film. From the moment she arrived on our wedding day, she was warm, friendly, and made us feel completely at ease. It felt like having a close friend with us the whole time as she blended in so naturally and helped keep us calm and excited throughout the day.
Our wedding video is absolutely breathtaking and it is more than we ever could have imagined. Every time I watch it, I cry. It captures the heart of our day so beautifully and takes us right back to each moment. Chelsea and her team are beyond talented, and we can’t thank them enough for the gift they’ve given us. Truly unforgettable. We received our videos back so quick and communication has always been great with Chelsea. Highly recommend hiring her! -

Chelsea videotaped our wedding and I really cannot recommend her enough, because not only was she extremely professional, she was also the first one to step up and be extra helpful, even doing things like running me a water bottle or whatever came up that needed doing at the time. Chelsea made me feel comfortable and I was able to maintain a feeling of presence despite the cameras and busy schedule of a wedding day. I would absolutely hire her again in a heartbeat, but I’m never getting married again! I have, however, already recommended her to a friend whose wedding is upcoming. Truly, 10/10 recommend! -

Chelsea is the most amazing person, and truly is the best choice when it comes to a videographer for your big day. She makes sure to consult with you beforehand on what shots are important for her to capture, and on the big day she gets straight to business with detail shots and getting ready clips. We had a blast with her in the bridal suite during our getting ready time, and she was incredible with getting perfect shots during sunset as well. She delivered a super fun preview video to us just 3 days after the wedding, and she had all of our edited videos delivered within 3 weeks! Her talent for making the perfect cinematic video of the day is truly unmatched. The way she incorporates vows, ceremony bits, speeches, first look moments, dancing, and so much more had myself, husband, and everyone we shared it with crying because it captured the emotion of the day so well. And of course having our full ceremony, dances, first look, and speeches are memories that we will cherish forever. If you are debating whether or not to get a videographer, this is your sign to absolutely do it. Having these moments on film is worth every single penny, and there is no better person to capture it than Chelsea! -

We’re so grateful to have worked with Chelsea for our wedding day in Sept 2024. She was so on top of it throughout the day always making sure she was capturing our most special moments, while also having such a lovely and kind presence. Chelsea sent us our video footage super quickly a couple days later, so my husband and I enjoyed watching all of the videos continuously while we were on our honeymoon. The videos are stunning and really capture our day beautifully. We’re so excited with how they turned out and will enjoy getting to re-live those moments for many years to come! I can't say enough about Chelsea from Stories Told By Film! I spent months looking for a videographer for our wedding. Chelsea came highly recommended by other vendors and she did not disappoint! She made everyone feel at ease and the final movie she created of our big day blew us away. I've received so many positive comments from our guests, many of which said watching the film brought them back to the day and loved how she captured the most important moments. We've watched it numerous times and it always make me so emotional. Many of of our guests couldn't attend so being able to share this made then feel like they were there celebrating with us. -

We were SO lucky to have Chelsea as a part of our wedding weekend with us, and highly recommend you booking Stories Told by Film for your big day!! In addition to filming our wedding day, she joined us the night before at our rehearsal dinner to film speeches. From a planning perspective, We really appreciated how easy she made the process for us - quick to respond over email and always so helpful answering our questions over the phone. Her packages made it really easy for us to customize exactly what we wanted - we were able to add an extra videographer, extra hours & even get all of the raw footage, in addition to her beautifully edited videos.
We were so impressed with the video she put together for us - I have literally watched it on a daily basis and don’t plan to stop any time soon! She did such an incredible job authentically capturing the joy & love we felt during our day, and seamlessly blended together the speeches, first looks, ceremony & reception. We realized that one of our favorite moments hadn’t made the original cut of the cinematic edit, but Chelsea was able to quickly edit that in for us when we asked. We’re so grateful to be able to relive these moments over & over, and can’t wait to show our wedding video to our kids & grandkids one day!

I can’t even begin to calculate the countless times we’ve watched our video and have noticed/appreciated all the details that went into it. Another thing that both Chelsea and her team were fantastic at was keeping things moving ON TIME (so critical) and giving us moments that we got to spend together just us away from our loved ones. On such a fast paced day it can be hard to cherish every moment, but we’re so grateful that Chelsea did this for us!

Chelsea is absolutely amazing to work with. She was by far our favorite vendor. She was kind and very professional. We didn't meet her until our wedding day but she immediately made us feel at ease. Amidst the chaos that is COVID weddings, her ability to communicate timelines and actually stick with them was so appreciated. My husband wasn't sold at first on hiring a videographer and now that we have had a chance to watch back our special day, he said it was the best money we spent on our big day. We decided to invest in a videographer because after the wedding, photos and video is all you will have to remember the special day. We have no regrets with spending the money to hire Chelsea as our videographer! Chelsea was a joy to have around during our wedding day. She was kind, laid back, professional, and went above and beyond for us. First off, our videos were edited and back to us 3 weeks after our wedding (SO FAST). Especially with how many weddings vendors are taking on the 2021 season, I was so impressed with how fast our wedding video was delivered. Second, we absolutely love our video - the quality is great. Our package allowed us to have our entire ceremony, vows and toasts in addition to the highlight video which I really appreciated. Next, I did a lot of research on videography and Chelsea's pricing is extremely reasonable for a high quality videographer. Finally, Chelsea also went above and beyond and stayed past her contracted time just to get our grand exit and that didn't go unnoticed on our end. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. Thank you a million times! -

Hiring Chelsea for videography was the one choice about our wedding that I never questioned. Planning through the pandemic, she was flexible and understanding as our wedding developed. Her calm personality and straightforward nature immediately put us at ease. She is unendingly talented, professional yet easy going, and a joy to work with.
The payoff for videography was priceless. Having the moments of our wedding captured in video, full joyful expressions, voices cracking during vows, post-ceremony cuddles and kisses, is a level of emotion that photography just couldn't fully do justice. Get the wedding portraits for family, but I encourage every couple to do videography for themselves. For your 70 year old selves rewatching your special day for the millionth time, marveling at how young you once were.
I have treasured my wedding video far more than the still images from the day. She captured the special moments even better than our photographer did, dedicated to getting the best angles and shots. While still filming during the wedding, I could see her starting to weave our story together. Chelsea truly creates love stories, and I felt beautiful through her lens.
There is a lot I would do different about my pandemic wedding, but hiring Chelsea is one decision I would never change! -

We seriously have lost count the number of times we have already watched our video, and every time we watch it it blows us away! Chelsea was incredible to work with. She was so responsive and was patient with us when we couldn’t make certain decisions about what we wanted out of the video. She had never been to our venue before, so she came during the rehearsal to get a lay of the grounds and some epic drone footage. Chelsea made us feel incredibly comfortable from the start! We felt like we were hanging out with a friend all day! Watching people’s reactions to our video has been one of our favorite things since the wedding. She captured our day PERFECTLY! After we finished watching the video for the first time, we immediately started it from the beginning and watched it again. We didn’t ask for a single thing to be changed. The morning after we saw our video for the first time, I texted a friend who is getting married in the area and told her if she hadn’t already chosen a videographer, to go with Chelsea hands down! Each time we watch our video, we love it even more, which we didn’t know was possible considering how much we’ve loved it since the beginning.

We hired Chelsea per the recommendation of our friends who hired her for their wedding in 2017. We are beyond thankful and grateful to have found her!
Chelsea perfectly captured our day. She didn’t miss a beat – getting ready, pre-ceremony letters to one another, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, toasts, cake cutting, and dancing – she caught it all! It’s also worth noting that our ceremony and reception were in different locations. We knew this would create some logistical challenges between getting ready at the reception site, going to Mission SLO for the ceremony, then back to the reception venue! But Chelsea handled it all seamlessly. We had a full mass ceremony, so clearly this was an aspect of our wedding day that was very important to us. Chelsea read into this and we loved how much of our ceremony she included in our wedding highlight video!
Chelsea made it so fun and comfortable to be in front of the camera, sometimes I even forgot she was there! She also worked fabulously with our photographer which helped make the day go smoothly.
It’s weeks later and our friends and family are still giving compliments on how much they love our wedding video. Again, we are so grateful to have found Chelsea and for the video(s) we’ll be able to cherish for a lifetime. Thank you Chelsea for EVERYTHING! -

We hired Chelsea upon the recommendation of friends who used her for their wedding in 2017. We are so grateful that we found her!
Our wedding was on Sept. 21 and she completed the 13-minute video by Sept. 27. An unbelievably quick turnaround, and she nailed it.
We've watched the video countless times already, and just about every time it leaves us laughing and crying tears of joy all in one. She perfectly captured our day, from the ceremony to the cocktail hour, toasts, first dance, cake cutting and celebration.
We were on the fence about hiring a videographer until our friends told us, "You have to hire Chelsea. You won't regret it." It was the best advice we received while wedding planning. Now we have a keepsake to watch for the rest of our lives.
On a personal note, Chelsea was incredibly easy and fun to work with. She is such a great person and made us feel at ease in front of the camera.

A dream to work with!
Where do I start? Chelsea was a DREAM to work with, from our very first call to our last email exchange over edits requested on the video, Chelsea was by far one of our favorite vendors we hired. She was so so so professional and easy to work with, on the day of, we trusted that we were in good hands with her. What I appreciated the most was that she came to the venue the day before to capture some shots as well as some drone footage, and even watched us practice our first dance so she could be prepared. I definitely did not expect her to do that but she volunteered her time! She also delivered the full video ONE WEEK (!!) after our wedding and asked if we wanted to make any changes. We requested some small edits and she got everything done quickly!! We’re so happy with the final product; unfortunately our DJ screwed up the music when I was walking down the aisle, but Chelsea’s work was able to capture the ceremony the way we envisioned it. We are also so happy we decided to get a videographer and feel we really lucked out in finding Chelsea at Stories Told by Film. Definitely recommend her, the last thing you’ll need to worry about on your wedding day is whether the videographer knows what they’re doing. With Chelsea you’ll be in good hands!!! -

My husband and I had decided not to invest the money in a wedding video. Thankfully, my mother-in-law was not about to let that happen, and organized gathering contributions from my bridal shower guests to give the video to us as a gift.
Now that we have received our video from Chelsea, I can't even explain how grateful I am that we were given that gift. Chelsea captured our special day so beautifully and perfectly. I have watched it almost every day since she sent it to us, and it is such an invaluable reminder of how truly special that day was for us. I tear up every time I watch it, and all of my family and friends who have seen it have said the same.
Beyond her artistic talent, Chelsea is just a phenomenal person. She truly cares about the couples she is capturing. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable. It didn't feel like a camera was following us, rather that we were sharing our special moments with a friend.
Chelsea sent us our video less than a week after our wedding. I was shocked! We were able to watch it on our honeymoon and reminisce on the special moments of the day.
I can't recommend Chelsea enough. If she's available on your date, book her!! -

Chelsea is absolutely amazing!!! She was so helpful throughout the whole entire planning process and definitely in the affordable range. She was extremely quick with giving us our video, we were still on our honeymoon when we received it only 1 week after our wedding! We had a performer at our wedding, and she even added a special touch of our performers song on our video. She really told our story perfectly through film. It was a pleasure working with her and I highly recommend her!! -

Kelly Sent on 09/07/2018When it came to choosing a wedding Videographer, I seriously looked and looked and looked, and then I found Chelsea's work online and knew she was the one!
Before the wedding, Chelsea was extremely responsive to all emails, calls and questions. Chelsea was very flexible with scheduling and came in on our wedding day and was so calm and professional. Her second shooter was great as well! It was like they weren't even there. Very professional.
We had booked a teaser film (2-3 minutes) and a highlight video (10 minutes) and Chelsea got on it right away and gave us our teaser film within a week of our wedding. Our highlight film came a week after that!
I have known other couples who have waited months and months for their videos, but Chelsea got on it right away!
Our videos are seriously amazing and I would book Chelsea over and over again if I had the option!
