Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center Sioux City Reviews

We recently had our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding, and reception at this location! I have to say they were amazing. The staff were wonderful throughout the entire weekend. They were kind and courteous and always ready to help with whatever I needed. The event coordinator (Angela) was exceptional at keeping everything on track. She worked wonderfully with all of my vendors! Would highly recommend them as a wedding venue. If there were more then 5 stars…they would get it!

We recently held our wedding reception at Stoney Creek in Sioux City and had a great experience! From our first meeting with the sales team, we knew they were going to be our top choice. They were flexible and willing to negotiate a bit on some of the options, which sold us. Other venues in town had NO wiggle room. The venue is beautiful and spacious. We had about 300 people in attendance and there was still room for people to space out if they wanted to. The sales team was organized and timely in their responses for the most part. After having an issue with our original rehearsal dinner venue, Stoney Creek was very generous and allowed us to have our rehearsal in a separate room at the hotel. This was sooo convenient for our guests as most of them were traveling into town for the weekend. Both the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception were great!! Having a venue provide set up, tear down, linens, decor and so much more was AMAZING!

Our only issue we ever had was with the front desk. (It also wasn’t a HUGE deal.) In our room block, there were a couple different guests who tried to check in who were told there rooms were “gone” or were never booked. In the end everything worked out and all our guests had rooms, but there was just a little added stress with that.

We had our wedding reception at Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center in Sioux City. They were fantastic to work with and the venue was absolutely beautiful! It was a perk that the hotel was connected for our guest to stay. The hotel rooms were themed and very clean. I would highly recommend Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center in Sioux City for your wedding reception or other events!!

Stoney Creek was perfect for our ceremony and reception. We had an outdoor ceremony (but they also had a back up indoor area) and it was absolutely gorgeous. Their outdoor area hold about 160 people, and their indoor area can hold up to 300 (or 350, I cannot remember 100%) we had about 150 people at our ceremony and reception and the size was perfect. They were accommodating to all of our last minute demands and the reception area looked beautiful (even before we set up all of our decor). They were pretty much perfect. Occasionally I had some difficulty getting responses to my emails, but I would get immediate responses from the event coordinator via text messages and phone calls. I 100% recommend Stoney Creek.
