We originally planned to get married in 2020 but due to COVID-19 we had to push it back to 2021, Kelly helped us reschedule our reception and it was all worth the wait. Stonewall staff did an amazing job with from our guests stay, the rehearsal dinner and meal for the reception. Our guest complimented us on quality of food and were they were able accommodate people with dietary restrictions (vegan and food allergies).
We held our reception at Lightburns which is such a beautiful space, with awesome views of the resort and lake. The service staff were expedient serving our sit down meal. At one point one of young guest disappeared (we thought) and they dropped everything to help us search, it was so enlightening to see their concern for the situation. The staff never give the impression that they wanted us to wrap up even as we went late into the evening. We are looking forward to coming back for our anniversary. -

Everything was perfect from the top notch wedding coordinator, beautiful facility, friendly accommodating staff to the tasty food. I wouldn't have changed anything----hats off to everyone at Stonewall Resort you were a big part of making our special day indeed SPECIAL. -
User2309868 Sent on 09/10/2015When we wanted to get away for a few days, we decided to take a trip to Stonewall Resort. It was so breathtakingly beautiful that when we got engaged a month later, we looked at no other venues to have out ceremony and reception.
We began planning with Kaitlin. She was awesome. Unfortunately (for us), she went on maternity leave early, two months prior to our wedding. We were so nervous about starting over with someone new so close to our date. However, when we met Greg, our concerns disappeared. He set up a meeting with us immediately and walked us through, step by step, our rehearsal and wedding day. He answered our notebook full of questions without getting annoyed (perhaps he’s just good at hiding it!!).
When we arrived the Wednesday before the ceremony, Greg was there to greet us and made sure we knew that he would be available for anything that we needed. The night of the rehearsal, he walked us through the entire ceremony. At the dinner (which was held at Lightburns’s—it was amazing!), he stayed in the background, popping up only to offer drinks and make sure that everything was going as we had wished. The day of the wedding, he was with us from beginning to end. Knowing he was there put me at ease! During the reception, he checked in with us and our families often, making sure we had everything that we needed. As the party showed no signs of slowing down, he extended our time in the ballroom at no additional charge, and even made sure our other vendors had a place to stay. Greg, along with the rest of the staff, went above and beyond; making sure that our wedding day was perfect. And it really was!

I do not know what else to say other than we had the BEST weekend of our lives. My husband and I were married at Stonewall in September despite the pandemic. To keep our wedding at Stonewall and power through and plan was the best decision. Kelli and her team were amazing. Kelli and I worked hand and hand almost every other day for a year and a half and she was phenomenal. Everything we asked or did, she made our dreams come true. Seriously we cannot say enough. We ended up spending Wednesday- Monday at the resort. Our friends and family made it a long weekend as well, staying at the cabins and the lodge. We boated all day and partied all night. It was a weekend we will never forget because of how special Stonewall made it. Venue, Food, Alcohol, everything was top notch. We loved Stonewall Resort -

Renee Sent on 04/24/2014AWFUL! The coordinator was the third I had worked with and was extremely rude and condescending. He broke my contract 3 times and when pointing it out didn't care. It seemed all he cared about was money not our event being special. Completely screwed up our rehearsal and didn't even show up, then actually called me while I was getting ready on the wedding day asking if I was angry! Thank goodness the evening manager and another manager stepped in and saved the day at the rehearsal. Without them I don't know what would have happened. they were both extremely helpful and considerate. The last few months of planning was weekly stress because of our coordinator who even called me the wrong name. I am actually working on a detailed letter to send to the general manager about how disappointed I am with the services. The venue itself is stunning and the food was delicious. While the other staff were wonderful their wedding coordinator is a nightmare. I would absolutely recommend a weekend getaway here but never an important event.
