Stonefire never disappoints

I loved having Stonefire at my wedding. Since then, I have referred them to everyone i come in contact with looking to book a large party. Stonefire was so affordable and professional and truly handled our wedding with care. I even asked them to bring vegan dishes for some of out guests and they obliged no problem.

Great quality food at a reasonable price

Stonefire Grill was very easy to work with. We initially considered them because they were the most affordable option. After we went in for a tasting it was clear we were getting a good deal. I wasn’t sure if the quality would be the same on the big day, but it actually tasted better. We received several compliments throughout the night. My only issue was the cake cutter we added on only cut slices on request. So it created a little confusion and we were left with a lot of left over cake, which was a real shame.

Great experience with Stone Fire!

Stone Fire went above and beyond for us. They were very patient and answered every single question I had. They provided us with more than enough food for the wedding and everyone raved about how great the food was. It was a smooth process and I highly recommend them!

The food was amazing!

There food was great, we were worried because we had 105 guests attend and we ordered food for exactly 105. There was plenty of food and tons leftover. Everyone raved about how good it was.

Best caterer ever!

Stonefire was by far the best value for the money on our wedding day. They went above and beyond in every possible way. Guests were coming up to us all night long talking about how amazing the food was! They were prompt, curteous, professional, and super affordable. They even stayed late to serve the cake (from another vendor) using their plates and forks! I would book stonefire again and again and recommend them to anyone hosting any kind of event.

Everyone loved the food

Food was amazing

Servers were great they even signed my guest book which was a cute surprise

I didn’t know until i asked, they offer cake cutting service for super cheap.

Everyone said this was the best wedding food they’ve had. And let’s not forget all the left overs. Wow

Their food is delicious

I wanted to hire a caterer who would provide full service to our diverse guests attending our wedding. Stonefire grill had everything we needed for everyone special diets and eating choices. They were very pleasant, sweet, caring, professional, and punctual. Everyone enjoyed their food and even went for seconds. Thank you Stonefire for your professionalism and service

Stonefire Grill was hands down amazing. They offered me the best package after many hours of searching and the food and service was fantastic. My guests loved the tri-tip! The set up, serving, and cleanup was outstanding.

I only have positive things to say about Stonefire Grill. They were incredibly responsive, easy to work with, a great value, showed up on time, helped clear the tables, and everyone loved the food. We had some food leftover, which they packaged up for us so we could enjoy it the next day. My mom said they were her favorite vendor, hands down. I highly recommend Stonefire Grill!

We had the pleasure of having Stonefire Thousand Oaks cater our 200 person wedding and it was fantastic!

Stonefire was well within our budget, the food was phenomenal and the menu options were great. The awesome menu provided great options for all guests including those that preferred red meat, chicken, or vegetarian dishes, as well as all the children that attended!
My husband and I were thrilled to find out we could add additional sides at a minimal cost. In addition, the catering office will work with you to help order appropriate amounts of specialty menu options (e.g. quinoa), if desired.

Melanie at the catering office was amazing and the Managers at the Thousand Oaks location made the decision to go with Stonefire easy.

I will say we did hit a couple bumps when it came to revising the order and paying a couple days before the event, so I would definitely recommend working directly with the catering office to make any menu or count revisions opposed to going in person to the Stonefire site fulfilling the order.

I would absolutely recommend Stonefire to any bride or groom looking for great food at a great price! Our guests loved the food and we are loving the leftovers!

AMAZING Wedding Catering! Perfect for anyone on a budget or anyone who loves good food. All of our guests mentioned especially how much they loved our food. So so so good!

Stonefire is incredibly easy to work with and eager to create the perfect menu. We had a few vegetarian and vegan orders which they were more than helpful to accommodate.

They were great. Everyone raved about their food, and it was so easy to work with them. Plus they gave me a gift card ($50) for completing their catering survey. If you live in LA, I highly recommend you consider Stonefire as a caterer. Note: we had them deliver the food and do the setup but we did not have them serve. We did a buffet. Perhaps the most important thing to know about Stonefire is that they have food for even the pickiest eater or restrictive diet. We needed to have options for vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free, and omnivores.

Stonefire Grill did an amazing job. We had a wonderful tasting about 4 months before our daughter's wedding. Someone had mentioned them on a wedding Facebook group I had been following. They said how good their food was and at such a great price. I got so many compliments. We had the Pepper Tri Tip Roast with Butter Gorgonzola, Mesquite BBQ Chicken, their famous BBQ Chopped Salad, Garlic Mashed potatoes, Freshly Baked Bread Sticks. They even had a Vegan Menu so we could get something for the father of the Groom. I just can't say enough about their professionalism. They worked closely with me and answered all emails/phone calls promptly and put up with my revisions. Absolutely Awesome.

Food was FANTASTIC! Service was very professional, showed up right on time, and was quick and neat in cleaning up even in having to move through the reception to get everything back to their truck. Before the wedding, the coordinators were very attentive and available via phone and email and called twice the week before to confirm and re-confirm the numbers. We under-ordered compared to our guest count and still had way more than enough food for the wedding and leftovers for a week!

Stonefire was awesome. The staff was so good to our guests. They were very organized and the food was excellent. There was also more then enough food! I would cater with them again!

We used Stonefire for our wedding and everyone couldn't stop talking about how good and fresh the food was. The pricing was cheap and service was great! Would highly recommend using them for any occasion!

Great food and service for an exceptional price! For a small family wedding of 30 adults and 5 children the cost was $602 and this included a server! ($80 server fee plus tip) Ryan K. was worth every penny! Melanie Greene in the Catering Dept. was extremely helpful in explaining our options and setting up a Tasting at the Irvine location so I wouldn't have to travel to Thousand Oaks. I would definitely recommend Stonefire Grill for a Rehearsal dinner or Reception Meal!

Stonefire Grill was a great choice for our small wedding catering.
We got "The Works" which included tritip, chicken, salads, sides, breadsticks and I added on some brownies.
We had about 50 ppl and I got 2 works packages. There was more than enough food to go around and a week later we're still eating leftovers.
The catering staff was super flexible and amazingly helpful over the phone. They updated/changed my pre-order with me about 4 times before I had everything finalized and every time I changed something they would promptly email me a new version of my order invoice with the changes.
Even though I picked the food up from the restaurant in trays and served them a little bit later, the food tasted great.
I would definitely use them again for catering a party of any kind.

I'm so glad we had Stonefire Grill cater our wedding! The food was very reasonably priced, was delicious, and there was LOTS of it! I ordered food for 125 people, we had probably 120 or maybe a couple more, and we still had tons of food left over after. We got to eat our wedding dinner twice! The staff was very responsive and helpful when I booked and when I had to make changes during planning, and as far as I can tell, things went off without a hitch on the wedding day. They provide their own tablecloths, but you will need to provide a table. They'll decorate their display with baby's breath or greens. They provide plain white styrofoam plates and plasticware; if you choose to rent china you can have them scrape the plates for an additional fee. They will cut and serve your wedding cake for an additional fee (really reasonable). Our menu included BBQ tri-tip, lemon garlic chicken breast, caesar salad, garlic mashed potatoes, fresh breadsticks, and we added a premium side which they were kind enough to split between half macaroni & cheese (for the kids) and half roasted veggies. They were great for our outdoor, summertime, family-friendly wedding.
If you want affordable, tasty food and are happy with a more casual crowd-pleaser versus a fancy steak-and-seafood option, I highly recommend Stonefire Grill.

Best choice ever! We love Stonefire and figured it would be perfect for our wedding! some caterers charge an insane amount of money for multiple courses and fancy meals. We had a fancy wedding, but the food didn't need to be fancy. We knew everyone was going to like it, cuz who doesn't like Stonefire! It was perfect! We were able to spend the money on the bar, because let's be honest, weddings aren't about the food... they're about the BAR! =)

It wasn't super fancy but boy was it good. The talk of the reception (and days that followed) was how awesome the mashed potatoes were.... We had chicken, tri-tip, mashed potatoes, salad and grilled veggies. Everything was yummy. They served and cleaned up. I would recommend.

I seriously cannot say enough good things about Stonefire Grill for our wedding buffet. We had a small DIY wedding (40 guests) and went with their 15.99 per person package that came with 2 meats, 4 sides, and breadsticks. We had the BBQ tri-tip, lemon garlic chicken, nutty coleslaw, cartwheel salad, tomesto pasta, and garlic mashed potatoes. The servers set up the entire buffet with their own linens and baby's breath. The meat was tender and moist, but the tomesto pasta was everyone's favorite! Many of our guests went back up for seconds and some even thirds. We had two servers (one was in training), and both were so timely, friendly, kind, and helpful. I must also put in a good word for our contact at the catering office, Danielle, who was patient and prompt with paperwork, and who made sure every thing was taken care of before our event. The entire night (and even after the wedding), everyone kept complimenting the food saying that it was delicious and "not your normal disgusting wedding food!" I would totally hire them again, even for a different kind of event! SO AFFORDABLE!

Great service. Even did a taste testing day with our family (they even gave us the leftovers) we requested for linens to be dropped off ahead of time so we wouldn't have bare tables and they were completely willing. Food was great and was even boxed up us. Workers were dressed appropriate and very friendly.

We were so grateful to Thrifted Sister for referring us to Stonefire Grill. After balking at the cost of other caterers, we were relived to find Stonefire Grill. The price was extremely reasonable. And the food was DELICIOUS! They served BBQ chicken and tri-tip, along with several side dishes, including mac-and-cheese, mashed potatoes, coleslaw and salad. Our guests raved about the food! It was perfect! Also, their staff was delightful. They set up a beautiful buffet, and the servers were professional and friendly. Great recommendation!

The cost of wedding caterers is enough to make anyone feel queasy. It's the reason I decided to plan my wedding piece by piece - I chose my own caterer for food, I hired my own waitstaff, I took care of rentals myself, etc. This was a lot of extra work, but it saved me a ton of money. We chose Stonefire Grill because I have always liked everything I've ever ordered from them and their prices for wedding catering are a phenomenal value. We got the chicken and tri-tip meal for everyone and added on some individual orders for vegans, vegetarians, and generally food-allergic guests. The ordering process was easy and the delivery schedule was very flexible. I think we only had to confirm our order 48 hours in advance which was great. We also only had 80 people at the wedding so maybe for a bigger wedding you'd need to give more advanced notice. They delivered everything on time, the meats were all sliced into small slices so they were easy to plate (we hired a wait staff to plate the meals instead of using the stonefire buffet option). Overall the food was great, on time, and almost zero hassle. I couldn't have hoped for a better catering experience!

The food was delicious and inexpensive and left our guests very satisfied. The day-of staff was professional and booking was very easy. They do this type of event all the time and it shows! Excellent!

This restaurant knows what it is doing when it comes to catering an event. The servers and food set up was impeccable and on time. The food was delicious and the hot items were hot and the cold items were cold. They have an amazing variety of menu items and have a professional staff to help you develop you menu, assist in portioning the amount of each item and take your order. The follow-up is great and once placed, you literally don't need to think about it again. We used them for our daughters wedding in late May and all the guest remarked on the quality of the food. And their price is extremely reasonable. Again, they know what they are doing and I would highly recommend you visit the restaurant closest to you and taste for yourself the freshness and quality of their offerings.

Stonefire Grill in Fountain Valley, Ca was so easy to work with. They provided staff, linens and great food. All of our guests were very happy with the service and quality of the food. I certainly cannot forget to mention the pricing. The pricing is amazing for what you get! I would definitely recommend Stonefire Grill in Fountain Valley, CA to cater any event!

Great food, great service. They brought tons of food, and the guests all ate until they were stuffed, and there were still leftovers. Very professional, prompt service, they even provide plates, napkins, cultery, do a great job of setting up and cleaning up. Affordable, delicious, and the servers are really fantastic.

Stonefire was on top of it! They did a great job setting up and getting everything ready, they stayed even though the wedding ran late, and they collected/scraped plates for us. The best part was that it was quality food for a great price. Everyone I talked to was very professional and communicative. Great vendor.

Can we just say tremendous? Very cost-effective and the food is so tasty, many of our guests were blown away! We had three very terrific entrees with four sides, and garlic breadsticks, which alone were worth the price of the catering - :) and more than 10 meals left over which Stonefire Grill graciously packages for you to take home.

They were extremely easy to deal with, great communicators, and they arrived when they said they would, served the meals so beautifully to our guests, and did the tear down and left without leaving a trace of anything behind. We highly recommend them.

Delicious BBQ chicken and tri-trip with four sides for $15 a person! The server cost $120 for three hours plus set-up. Everyone ate a lot and there was plenty left-over! Love Stonefire Grill!

If you want quality foor at an affordable price, Stonfire is the best! Stonefire was great to work with. They answered all my questions clearly and in a timely manner. Their staff was friendly and service the say of was super quality. Stonefire's food is amazing and perfect for a wedding! The bonus is that they are super cheap in price. You won't find a better quality food for the cost!

Stonefire was an amazing caterer! We had an outdoor, casual wedding, and their barbeque was perfect! They were there an hour before the scheduled meal time, were set up and ready to serve on time, and went above and beyond and cleared plates from tables (only offered if plates are disposible) when everyone was finished eating. The catering office was very responsive and well-organized, calling me to confirm and sending me updated contracts when necessary. They offer utensils, napkins, and plates with their catering, and even though I only wanted their utensils, they worked with me to provide them ahead of time so that I could wrap them in napkins. They are so well priced!!! We ended up paying $12/person for the food, and under $500 for all of the servers, and we had trays and trays of food left over! You can't beat their prices, their flexibility in menu, and above all the taste of the food! Even if you have another caterer in mind for your wedding, I would recommend their catering for any event, rehearsal dinner, etc.

What can I say? AMAZING great tasting food! AMAZING professional, helpful staff! More leftovers than I knew what to do with. Prompt, courteous service from the first time I called until the final follow up call to make sure I'm satisfied. Great option for any occasion especially a wedding. Can't say enough great things about them.

Stonefire went over and above. The servers stuck around to help with the cake because they had extra time still. The portions were huge!!! We had so much left over food, we ate well for the next couple of days.

I have always loved Stonefire Grill and its' casual atmosphere in the restaurant. Their superb food from tri-tip, breadsticks, and salads are a weekly craving of mine. But I admit I had a little doubt in the back of my head concerned if it would be good enough for a wedding. Boy was I wrong. The food and the way it was presented, to the hospitality of the servers, to the clean up was better than I could have imagined. All my guests, especially the out of towners who were unfamiliar with Stonefire Grill were so impressed, talking about it for weeks after.
As the bride, I'll never forget one of the servers coming to my head table. My mind was in a million places at once, feeling a little overwhelmed. She was so sweet, with her warm, sincere smile asking if I needed anything while pouring more water into my glass. I felt a certain calmness after that moment, to remember to stop and cherish everything. It was a moment I needed and thanks to Stonefire Grill I was reminded of it.
I didn't need to worry any longer about anything. Stonefire Grill supplied more than enough delicious eats, feeding everyone late into the night.

Stonefire's catering service provided excellent food for our wedding. Many of our guests were excited when they walked in the reception hall doors and saw Stonefire employees getting ready to serve. The chicken was very moist and there was plenty of food leftover.

We used Stonefire Grill for our wedding because we wanted something low cost but also that tastes great (we love to eat at Stonefire!) The service was all excellent, everything arrived on time, was warm and fresh and lovely. The only complaint I have is that I hired an extra server to specifically do water service for guests and although it was stated in the contract, this did not happen, the server just served at the buffet instead. Otherwise great!

best price you'll find out there for the amount of food and quality of food that they put out

their customer service is excellent and their servers are great with the crowds. they were efficient and polite.

I love their restaurant and their catering department is just as great too

I was referred to Stone Fire Grill by a friend who had used them as her wedding caterer 5 years earlier. As my husband and I shopped around, we tried different restaurants and reviewed various packages and price points. We had difficulty choosing a caterer that could accommodate both Mexican and American palates. In our research we found out that a family friend had also used Stone Fore Grill to cater a birthday party. We sampled the menu many times on our own, and took our parents out to lunch to preview the menu as well. Stone Fire Grill is one of those few restaurants that does everything well. We chose it for the variety of menu options, the service, and the value. Our guests raved about the food! Stone Fire has earned many new patrons. Other vendors would charge two or three times the amount we paid, but could not equal the quality of the food. We had two buffet tables and four lines, with six servers, and all our guests (200) were served dinner within 45 minutes. We paid for additional staff time, and they cleared all the dinner plates, served the dessert, and cleared those plates as well. In addition, we ordered food (pizza and Mac N Cheese) for the kids room, and this was also a hit.
My only complaint is that e-mails were a little slow to be returned, our final contract was completed a week before the event date and e-mailed back 3 days before. They were more responsive on the phone, and easy to reach at the restaurant site. Stone Fire has won us over for life, and I know we will use them again and again for family events, parties, and dinners out. I LOVE Stone Fire Grill!!

We were very pleased with Stonefire's services and prices! Our only issue was the chicken we chose was a little dry, but the other food (tri tip, breadsticks, salad) was well worth it. If you're choosing an outside caterer, try Stonefire. Very budget friendly!

Overall, we really had a good experience with Stonefire. They were only $15/person, which was GREAT value. The servers did a great job as well.

Our only challenge is we needed some specialty food items, and we had to call a few times to get that resolved, but ultimately they were able to do it. Travis at the West Hills Office was particularly helpful. Overall, a great vendor!

Stonefire Grill catered our wedding in January. I already really loved their food and now so does the rest of my wedding guests :) I think their food is way better than any food from some catering company that you would pay a lot more money for. They also set up, served, and cleaned up everything. Your tummy will not regret using them...

Stonefire was a good choice for it.

It only cost us about $11 a person, and we had sooo much food.

My only complaint is that they inturpted me during my father daughter dance to ask how i would like to pay. even though we had pre-paid for the event. I understand it was a mix up, the appologized, but it still was not cool.

Food was great, servers were great, they set up was timley.

Stonefire did an amazing job catering my reception. The only complaint that I have is you always have to go through their corporate catering number, rather than the store you having deliver. The corporate number is always super busy, you have to wait 20 min just to talk to someone!
