We cannot say enough good things about Stone Mill Inn. From the moment we stepped onto the venue we knew it was a special place and it was perfect for us. We fell in love with the abbey ceremony space, the beautiful grounds, and the warm welcoming feeling we had being at the venue. From our coordinator, the owners Ken and Karen, the kitchen staff and everyone in between they are so kind, welcoming and helpful. For our planning meetings, SMI was very organized and helped plan out every last detail. They were very responsive to emails and all the questions we had. Corrine our day of coordinator made us feel so prepared for how the wedding day would look. She checked on us many times through the day and made us feel so taken care of. Ken and Karen always came out at our meetings and made us feel like family. Our guests not only raved about how good the food was (which it’s amazing!) but how attentive and nice the staff were throughout out the day. Jim was also so amazing and made sure we had drinks and his food came out at the right time. Can’t forget to mention that this is the prettiest venue I’ve seen!! The grounds are beyond beautiful every corner you look. Our guests were in awe of the venue and the of course the hydrangeas that lined the aisle. It is apparent how much SMI wants to give the best experience to their couples and how much they care to make it the most special day. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and will always cherish our special day! -

Our experience at Stone Mill Inn was incredible. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our wedding day feel effortless and unforgettable. They were so accommodating to our older guests and even provided go-kart transportation to the ceremony site, which meant so much to our families. Throughout the wedding day, they made sure everyone, especially the bride and groom, was well taken care of—bringing us food, keeping our drinks full, and ensuring we never had to worry about a single detail. They gave us a private moment together during cocktail hour by setting up a table with food, so we could pause and truly soak in the magical day. It was something we didn’t know we needed until they made it happen. Every staff member was professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. Their manners, warmth, and calm presence helped create an atmosphere where everyone felt cared for. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and the perfect setting for our special day. We couldn’t be more grateful to Stone Mill Inn for helping create a day we’ll cherish forever. Highly recommended to any couple looking for a stunning venue and a truly exceptional staff. -

I wanted to thank Amber and the entire team at the Stone Mill Inn for making my daughter’s wedding day perfect. Having planned three weddings in 14 months, I can say that the team at the Stone Mill Inn went above and beyond and made the mother-of-the-bride role exceptionally peaceful. They took care of EVERY detail, from the planning to the execution, so I could enjoy the day with my daughter and the rest of the guests. This was particularly impressive since I live in Florida and so much of the planning was remote.
The property was amazing! From the expertly manicured gardens and the chandeliers in the trees, to the spacious and elegant bridal suite and the beautifully arranged reception space, everything was perfect. And the food was 5-star-restaurant quality food. My father-in-law, who is a pastor and has been to countless weddings, said it was the best wedding food he had ever tasted. I cannot say enough about the excellence and ease of the service at the Stone Mill Inn. -

The Stone Mill Inn is hands down the BEST wedding venue in York! 💍✨
I don’t care what anyone else says—trust me, this is the place you want for your big day!
The grounds are absolutely breathtaking. Nestled in a quiet valley, the Stone Mill Inn is truly a hidden gem—peaceful, romantic, and full of charm. There are multiple gorgeous ceremony spots to choose from, and we went with the classic Abbey—it was STUNNING! Ken takes incredible pride in maintaining the property, and it shows in every detail: the perfectly manicured lawns, lush natural florals, charming archways, and elegant chandeliers along the walking path. It truly felt like stepping into my own real-life fairytale.
The staff was phenomenal from start to finish. Every single person was responsive, kind, and eager to help. As a Florida resident planning an out-of-state wedding, that support meant the world to me. A huge shoutout to Nicole—you were amazing! Thank you for keeping everything on track and making the entire day run so smoothly. I couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator in my corner!
And the food… oh my gosh, the food! Everything was absolutely delicious—I only wish I had eaten more while it was fresh! Our guests raved about it all night long. And for any future couples reading this: order the brunch charcuterie board for your wedding morning snacks. The blueberry-covered almonds? Magical.

A dreamy venue with elegant gardens!
We were fortunate enough to find this amazing venue in the fall of 2023, and we immediately fell in love with every aspect of the facility. We actually had spent the morning touring other venues in the area, and after a really disappointing experience we called Stone Mill and asked if we could bump up our appointment time. "Come on over!" was the response we received, and we got to tour around with one of the owners, Karen. In mere seconds of talking with Karen, I could feel the stress and anxiety of wedding planning melting away. The property itself is beyond gorgeous thanks to Ken, the other half of the dynamic duo of owners. Despite being incredibly beautiful in pictures, the grounds are truly that much more stunning in person. My husband is a landscape designer himself, and this was the only venue that he actually got excited about. We knew immediately that we had finally found our place, with the staff making us feel like we were already part of the family.
Fast forward to our actual wedding day in late September 2025, and our wedding exceeded our wildest dreams. The team at Stone Mill takes care of everything, with detailed planning meetings leading up to the actual big day. I had multiple people tell me that I was the calmest bride they've ever met, and that is largely in part to the dedicated staff at the venue. From dedicated coordinators (thanks Corinne!), to property owners on site, there is absolutely nothing to worry about when you know every member of that team is working hard to give you the most memorable wedding day. Ken & Karen, and their team's attentiveness to our guest's needs, was remarked upon throughout the entire wedding, and days following. I don't know of many other venues where the property owners specifically involve themselves into making sure your wedding is perfect beyond measure.
Weeks later and our guests are STILL talking about the food. Some of which said that the side dishes almost rivaled the entrees themselves. Can you imagine? One guest sent me a picture of the salad she tried to recreate at home because she loved it so much. I had another friend tell me that he almost didn't want to eat dessert, because he was afraid of "sabotaging the experience" of his Chilean sea bass and risotto. We're seriously wondering if we can sign up for another tasting just to enjoy the food again.
Finally, the property is just gorgeous beyond measure. We are absolutely thrilled that it was a beautiful day so our guests could check out various parts of the grounds. Had it rained, however, we know the experience would have been just as wonderful, thanks to the team. Having a wedding experience as memorable as we did at Stone Mill Inn, is something that words truly can't define. Thank you Ken, Karen, and the entire Stone Mill Inn team for giving us the absolute best day of our lives. We are forever grateful, and we hope another one of our friends gets married here just so we can go back and enjoy everything all over again.

Best Venue Ever!!!!
Stone Mill Inn truly made our wedding day the most perfect and magical day. The coordinating staff were so responsive from day 1 when I originally reached out for a tour. Everyone working there does their best to make sure all of your needs and dreams are taken care of down to every little detail. They helped us throughout the entire planning process to get everything in order to be stress free for the day of. The venue itself feels like a place out of a fairytale. The grounds are stunning, unique, and have so much character. The various parts of the grounds are perfect for guest entertainment too for those looking for some quiet areas away from the music to chat and relax. The coordinators and catering staff made sure every single thing went according to plan on our wedding day. And the food from Stone Mill Inn’s in-house catering is to die for! Their catering has so many options to pick from for hors d’oeuvres and entree selections. Everything thing we tasted was spectacular! The chef and catering staff were so helpful and kind when taking our guests allergies into consideration. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of thanks to everyone at Stone Mill Inn! -

My husband and I knew we wanted to get married at Stone Mill Inn from the very first time we stepped foot on the property. The grounds are absolutely captivating, all of the staff have been so helpful and kind. I wanted my wedding day to be stress-free. My day of coordinators (Corinne and Sarah), ensured every little detail was taken care of and I did not have to worry about a single thing. The food was some of the best food I've ever eaten (I'm not exaggerating). If you don't believe me, you can ask any of my guests who are still RAVING about how good it was. Many of our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they've ever been to. We could not have asked for a better wedding day. All thanks to SMI and their amazing team! -

There are not enough kind things that I can say about Stone Mill Inn and the staff that work there. From the moment we booked this venue, to even the day after our ceremony, they worked tirelessly to help curate the most incredible experience for us. Amber was absolutely phenomenal and really helped to guide us through the entire process from start to finish. She sent us tons of pictures and videos the day after our wedding, provided support and guidance through some weather scares making sure the ceremony we had hoped for went off without a hitch (thank you again for that!), and made sure that we never wanted or needed for anything throughout the entire day. Jim and Corinne checked in on us constantly and made sure we always had a drink in hand and peace of mind. The food provided in the bridal suite was absolutely incredible. The hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and the meals at dinner were some of the most amazing food! The guests could not stop talking about how incredible it was. We are still getting texts about how delicious it was even days after the wedding! All of the staff truly make this venue one of a kind and you will absolutely not be disappointed if you book with them! -

Stone Mill Inn surpassed all of our wedding dreams and expectations! The moment we walked onto the gorgeous property - we knew this was the place we wanted to bless us with our wedding ceremony and reception. The venue is absolutely STUNNING and so well maintained. We fell in love with the Abbey and stone work throughout the Mill. The staff was beyond the best staff ever... even our wedding guests told us how amazing they are. Nichole, our wedding coordinator, was soooo friendly and organized! Not only did she not mind all of the crazy-detail-oriented requests from myself, the bride, but she joined me in it! All of her suggestions were the perfect fit for us, as she got to know us. We felt like friends instead of just 'part of work'. Ken and Karen are the absolute best owners. They came out to greet us and meet with us on multiple occasions! They really truly just want to give their couples the best experience, and will make anything work. Don't even get us started on the late night pizza... this is a MUST! Honestly, we could not be happier with the Stone Mill Inn and will cherish our day forever, so much in part because of this amazing venue and the incredible people who make it wonderful. -

From our very first visit to Stone Mill Inn, we knew it was something special. The venue is absolutely stunning, every part of the property is beautifully maintained and feels like a dream. It truly set the perfect backdrop for our wedding day.
What made the day even more special was the incredible staff. They made everything feel effortless and completely stress free. We received so many compliments from our guests about how attentive and kind the team was throughout the entire day. The staff truly went above and beyond to make sure every single guest was cared for.
The food was another highlight, delicious and generously portioned. Our guests were raving about it all night, and we were so impressed ourselves. We even got to-go boxes!
Thanks to the amazing day of team and all the consistent communication and thoughtful check ins leading up to our big day, we felt completely supported every step of the way. The entire staff made us feel valued, important, and genuinely cared for. Staff extended that same warmth and attentiveness to our families and guests on our wedding day, which meant the world to us!

We could not have chosen a better venue than Stone Mill Inn. The owners, Ken and Karen, are wonderful people. Our coordinator, Amber, and the whole planning team did an amazing job making sure the planning and wedding day went smoothly. The property is incredibly beautiful and immaculately maintained. The food was also amazing - we had numerous people tell us how it was the best food they had had at a wedding.
Other than the exceptional service, one of the biggest reasons why we chose Stone Mill Inn was just how much is included. We didn't have to worry about renting tables, chairs, or linens, and had plenty of options to choose from. We didn't have to hire an outside caterer, and the on-site food was top notch. We didn't feel the need to hire a planner or coordinator, and the day still went off without a hitch. This saved us a ton of time and stress throughout the planning process and made the overall pricing more transparent.
We are so grateful to everyone at Stone Mill Inn for making it the perfect day!! We can’t recommend them enough! -

We could not be more impressed by Stone Mill Inn, from the venue itself, to the staff, to the food, we were blown away! From the moment we first walked in to tour, we knew we wouldn't find better. Communication was fantastic, I asked way too many questions and the entire staff was always willing to answer in record time. There was a chance of thunderstorms leading up to our wedding and Ken and Karen took so much time to reassure us and walk through every option just in case. Amber was also the best coordinator we could have asked for, I don't think I had an empty glass in my hand from the second the ceremony was over! The food is also something that needs to be discussed, we are still being told by our guests it's the best wedding food they've ever had! I couldn't be more grateful for the incredible staff at Stone Mill Inn. The venue clearly speaks for itself, but the staff, food, and overall experience makes this a 5-star venue. -

We can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience at the Stone Mill Inn. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking — from the beautifully maintained grounds to the charming, elegant indoor spaces, every inch of the property is picture-perfect. Even though we had some unexpected rain, the team was able to make a last-minute decision that still allowed us to have part of our event outdoors, and we’re so grateful for their flexibility and quick thinking.
A special shoutout to Nichole, our day-of coordinator, who was a rock for us not just on the big day, but throughout the entire planning process. She was incredibly helpful, responsive, and supportive, making sure every detail was accounted for. The entire planning team at the Stone Mill Inn was exceptional — they truly have everything down to a science. Drop-off and cleanup were a breeze, and honestly, we barely had to lift a finger when it came to setup or teardown. Their team took care of everything seamlessly.
The food was absolutely incredible. We had multiple guests tell us it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had — and we agree! The catering staff was efficient, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly during dinner service.
Overall, we had the most amazing time at the Stone Mill Inn and cannot recommend them highly enough. It was the perfect venue for our wedding, and we’ll forever be grateful for the care and attention we received throughout the entire process. -

Absolute perfection
Our wedding at Stone Mill Inn was absolute perfection. From the moment we visited your venue we knew it would be the perfect, and really the only place/team, that could bring the wedding vision to life that at the time we didn’t even know we had. At every step they went out of their way to make sure our wedding was exactly as we wanted it to be. The chef even made hors d’oeuvres using family recipes.
I think almost every single guest told us it was the best wedding, with the best food, that they’ve ever been to (and they’ve been to A LOT of weddings). The team exhibited truly unparalleled professionalism and care. We felt like a part of your family all day (and even every meeting, email, and phone call leading up to the event). Staff was constantly checking in but also somehow were so subtle and unnoticed by guests to make sure we had everything we needed. Amber even rescued me when my dress got claustrophobic and brought my pajamas from the car so I could change and keep dancing! I feel like I could gush on forever but I will try and wrap it up by saying that we truly had the most perfect wedding and it is ALL thanks to their impeccable team. -

Our Dream August Wedding!
We visited the venue in January 2023 and immediately fell in love! Olivia was so welcoming during our initial visit - we left completely sold! The planning process was so stress free. The team was responsive and willing to answer all of our questions. Getting to revisit the venue for our tasting was such a treat - and we loved that we could include our parents in the process. We were nervous to settle on an August date given the summer heat but WOW, we could not have been happier with our decision. SMI is truly a one of a kind venue but seeing the grounds in full bloom in August made for the backdrop of our dreams. We utilized all aspects of the venue - first look at the woodlands, ceremony at the abbey, dinner under the tent & dancing in the mill. Everything was beautiful! We were not stressed at all knowing we were in great hands. From dropping off our decor the Thursday before, to getting ready in the bridal suite, to leaving the venue at the end of the night, we didn't lift a finger the entire weekend! Our guests still rave about how attentive the staff was, how beautiful the grounds were, and how amazing the food was. It is so apparent how much love goes into every aspect of the venue! Thank you Ken, Karen, Olivia, and the entire team for giving us the wedding of our dreams. Not sure we will ever stop talking about it! -

The Best Venue
Noah and I are overjoyed to have found Stone Mill Inn. It was the perfect wedding venue, and we highly recommend it. The setting is stunning, and the staff members are all incredibly kind and welcoming. Our wedding planner, Nicole, was outstanding; I can't thank her enough for her hard work in making everything run smoothly and handling every detail with professionalism. Ken and Karen are also fantastic, making us feel like we were part of their family. Our wedding was completely flawless; I couldn't have imagined anything better. This venue was truly ideal for our ceremony, and if I had to choose again, I would undoubtedly make the same choice. -

Our July wedding was everything we wished for and more. From our first time seeing the venue to our actual wedding day- everyone/everything was above and beyond. Nicole was our wedding coordinator at the venue and she took the time to get to know us as a couple to make sure our day was amazing. My husband is hard to open up to at first- but Nicole took the time to figure out a connection (the Army) before diving into details. This helped him have more of a voice in meetings and feel comfortable with the process. From every last-minute question to the day of random tasks, Nicole did it all without making us seem like a burden or ridiculous in any way. She was everywhere the day of but always made sure I got what I needed and felt confident all day. She does it all- and even helps serve the food! She was incredible in every way and we owe her many thanks! The staff- what is there to say besides- THANK YOU! The bartenders- amazing (the drinks were phenomenal!). Waitstaff- Amazing. Chiefs- Amazing. Owners- amazing! We heard so many things about our wedding but one consistent thing was how nice and helpful everyone was to our guests, along with raving food reviews. My Husband was and still is bragging about our menu! The venue itself deserves its own review- It was gorgeous. The house the bride and bridesmaid get ready is perfect to enjoy a relaxing morning. For pictures, there are so many breathtaking spots. We still only have our sneaks but I am showing everyone because every single picture is amazing! Coming from a family of gardeners- they were impressed with the grounds! Everywhere you look- beautiful lush gardens. The historical Mill is preserved so well that you want it to be in all your pictures! I could write another 5 paragraphs but it all comes down to, we were so lucky to have found Stone Mill Inn. It exceeded our expectations. We had our dream wedding and it was largely because of Stone Mill Inn! We would recommend it to anyone!! -

There are not enough words to express how amazing our experience at the Stone Mill Inn was. From the moment we first walked onto the property, we knew the SMI was the place we would start our forever. The staff at the SMI is unlike any other wedding vendor out there. Their talent, expertise, kindness and attention to detail are next level. They truly make you feel like friends and family, and treat your wedding journey with such love and care.
My husband and I felt like we were the only wedding they were planning with how much time, attention and help went into our day. Olivia was who showed us around the property first, and she quickly became a key reason we signed with the SMI. She was so talented, fun and we knew she would be amazing to work with when bringing our vision to life. She was key in turning our dreams into a reality.
Ken and Karen, the owners, cared about us a couple more than any other vendor we worked with. Whether checking in to see how things were going, asking about our family, friends and beyond, they brought a level of magic to the wedding planning process that I cannot begin to explain.
Planning a wedding is hard, often stressful, and not very glamorous. but when you choose the SMI, they make the experience memorable, fun, and exciting. When we look back at this chapter of our lives, we will always remember the kindness from the staff, the stunning property, and the way the team showed up for us.
Finding the venue was an amazing experience, they answered all my questions and helped us pick a date that would align with what we were looking for on our big day. Planning with the SMI wedding coordinators was top tier. They provided helpful resources, answered every one of my emails quickly and professionally, and they cheered us on and were always happy and excited to talk and work with us. They never ever made me feel like a bother ( even on email #5 of the week!!). On the day of the wedding, the team blew our expectations out of the water. They are so creative, talented, and sweet and our day was picture perfect.
The tasting event was such a fun and delicious day that we will always remember and made crafting our wedding day menu so easy. The food at the SMI is better than any restaurant and the catering team & chef have such a passion that truly shines through the food and the experience. Our rehearsal and decor drop off was organized, quick, and FUN! The SMI team made our entire wedding weekend enjoyable. The SMI is the only wedding venue who goes above and beyond for their couples. We didn't lift a finger all weekend. They even opened my car door when I pulled up for the wedding morning! The bridal getting ready suite was the perfect size, so beautiful and the staff was amazing to me and the girls all morning. They are so professional and great at throwing events that if anything went wrong that day, we had no idea!! They handled everything with grace and the day was beyond our wildest dreams. I could write a book on the SMI and how amazing they are. They are the only venue we toured and we knew instantly, we cannot recommend them enough. Thank you SMI for the best day of our lives, we love you! -

I cannot put into words how grateful I am to Ken, Karen, Olivia, and the rest of the SMI staff. Their hospitality, organization, and attention to detail is top notch. We could not have chose a better place for our special day. Even though it rained they made it feel like we were being married in the Woodlands. They made our whimsical, woodsy, disco dream come true! I would recommend Stone Mill Inn over and over again. And the short rib and Ken’s pizza was an added bonus! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! -

Stone Mill Inn Delivered Our Dream Wedding!
Our wedding at Stone Mill Inn was an absolute dream. Ken and Karen, the owners, were incredibly hands-on and dedicated to making our day perfect. From the initial planning sessions to the execution of our ceremony and reception, their attention to detail was impeccable.
The venue itself is stunning, offering a picturesque setting that made our wedding day feel like a fairytale. The inclusive package they offer, including in-house farm-to-table style catering, makes the entire process seamless and stress-free. The fact that everything was inclusive truly sets Stone Mill Inn apart from other venues in the Maryland/Pennsylvania area.
On our wedding day, the staff at Stone Mill Inn were absolute lifesavers! Despite our plans for an outdoor ceremony (“The Abbey” was even printed on our wedding invites!), unexpected rain forced us to swiftly change gears and move everything indoors. The staff displayed remarkable patience, kindness, and professionalism throughout this sudden change. They were by our side every step of the way, ensuring that the transition was seamless and stress-free. Their adaptability and grace in handling the situation showed their commitment to ensuring our day was perfect, regardless of the weather, was evident in every detail they managed. We couldn't have asked for a more supportive team to navigate such a significant change on our special day.
Not only did they excel in creating a breathtaking atmosphere for our wedding, but the dinner experience was also beyond exceptional. What truly stood out was the attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure we, the bride and groom, not only had a chance to enjoy the delicious appetizers and dinner but also made certain we took moments together to celebrate amidst the whirlwind of the day. Their genuine care made us feel not just like another wedding couple, but like cherished guests, adding an extra layer of warmth to our entire wedding experience.

3 months to put our appreciation into words
On August 11, 2023 we tied the knot at the SMI and had the most magical day of our lives! From the initial planning meeting to the day of and everything in between the stone mill staff was phenomenal with all of their help.
SMI staff did all the heavy lifting during rehearsal and day of which took a huge weight off our shoulders. All the food and drinks were crafted so perfectly and was honestly the best wedding food we’ve ever tasted! They made us feel so special and loved in the care they took and the details they provided. Our guests have continually told us over the last 3 months it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! If only we could do it again! Thank you for everything! -

From the first time we toured Stone Mill Inn, we knew it was special. The grounds were so full of different colors and plant life, it was astounding! From our planning meetings with the SMI Team, we knew their service would be top-notch, but it wasn't until our wedding day that they absolutely blew it out of the water. From the start of unloading all of our decorations with care from the trailer to setting them up with care and precision. As the Type A, DYI bride, I was truly able to enjoy my whole wedding experience without a worry that something would be in the wrong place or would be missing. The day was perfect and the grounds were even more beautiful the day of. The service to my bridal party, us, and our families was OUTSTANDING! We were able to enjoy all the treatment as Bride and Groom. Our guests can't stop talking about how beautiful the venue is, the amazing food, and the top-notch service. I would love to come back as a guest at Stone Mill Inn! -

The best!
The whole staff is truly so kind and caring. The communication was wonderful and they were all so helpful with any questions we had, or any information we needed to know. Olivia was so sweet and a joy to work with. Karen and Kenneth were very welcoming and accommodating. The catering staff on our wedding day literally came to us with hors d'oeuvres wherever we were taking photos to make sure we tried all the food and took such good care of us. They took care of all the setup and breakdown in such a quick and secretive way that was amazing to see, and everything was beautiful! I would truly recommend this venue to everyone! -

We had the pleasure of having our wedding at Stone Mill Inn - and let me tell you, it was beyond what we could have imagined. From the moment we stepped on the grounds, we knew that it was the place we wanted to get married. The entire team worked so hard to make sure our wedding was everything that we imagined it to be; from the meetings we had all the way up to the day of the wedding, the whole team made sure we were taken care of. We were fortunate to work closely with Olivia and she was incredible at making sure our vision came to life and handled all of the finer details. On our wedding day, the entire team made sure that we didn't have to lift a finger when it came to set up and ensured that everything ran smoothly. We knew from the countless reviews before ours that the service was unmatched - but it surpassed anything we could have imagined. My husband and I are still talking about how wonderful Jim was at making sure our every need was met, even the things we didn't know we needed. Our guests are still raving about how perfect the entire day was with one of our guests telling us "This place is magical" on the day of the wedding. And it truly is! We are so thankful that we had our wedding at such a special venue. Seriously, look no further - Stone Mill Inn is where you want to get married! -

My husband and I just got married this past Sunday (5/14/23) and our day was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!! From the moment we toured Stone Mill Inn back in 2021 we knew it was the “one”. Karen and Ken are one of a kind! Olivia our planner made everything so seamless! The entire process was so personal and they truly care so much about your big day! Every little detail Olivia was right on top of, we truly didn’t need to stress about a thing! We knew we were in good hands! The grounds speak for themselves, they are breathtaking. The Mill is absolutely stunning, the character and charm is one of a kind. I seriously wish the day didn’t have to end! The attention to detail is impeccable! During our rehearsal Jim, Ken, Olivia and Amy made sure we didn’t lift a finger unloading all our decor, alcohol, etc! The morning of our wedding Karen and Ken were there to greet us at the house and were just as excited for us to get married as we were! Karen got my dress all hung up to air out, she even got our daughter Rowyn (she’s 3) a mat to lay down for her to color and even brought her a coloring book and crayons! Karen also was there to pop our champagne!! She and Olivia checked on us throughout the day in the bridal suite which is seriously gorgeous!!! Olivia was there to fluff my dress and train and let the wedding begin. One of my favorite parts was immediately after we were married Olivia had our signature drinks waiting on hand for us, and there were multiple staff bringing us our food from cocktail hour! They followed us around outside while getting photos done in different locations with a smile never leaving their face and made sure we never had an empty drink! The service is honestly the BEST! I am still thinking about the pork egg rolls from cocktail hour!! Our food at dinner was fantastic, I couldn’t even finish my sampler plate so they packaged it right up for us to take home! All throughout the rest of the evening they checked on us to make sure everything was going perfectly and if we needed anything! Our wedding day at the Stone Mill Inn was a DREAM!! Everyone is so welcoming, they make you feel like you’re apart of their family! You are not just another number or wedding at Stone Mill. You become a part of their family for life and they so deeply care about each couple! I could go on and on…if you are considering Stone Mill Inn, I promise you will not regret it!! Our family and friends are still blown away with SMI’s service, friendless, and the beauty of it all!!! -

My husband wanted to get married "in nature" and I was in awe when I saw pictures of the Mill's beautiful property! We were hooked from the moment we met Ken and Karen and their (recently passed due to sweet old age) dog Carrie. As a fellow Penn Stater, I knew Ken's background would be perfect for us. They are so helpful along the way, sending reminder emails, giving vendor recommendations, and every vendor I spoke with, raved about the Mill! Wedding day was magical and super smooth. We had everything we needed! I had 2 guests arriving to reception late, but was able to tell the Mill ahead of time, so all my guests were well cared for. My 2 vegan friends loved their dinner option and all food was wonderful! All the decorations looked great, even the ones I was concerned would look drab, the staff still made them look lovely! We traveled 2 hours for our wedding and I'd happily do it again. It was a perfect day, and we even got to have our dogs in the ceremony. Thanks Ken, Karen, Amy, and the whole staff! -

Everything You Could Hope For & More
Where the heck can I begin. From the moment you meet the owners you feel welcome. You’re not another paycheck to them, they learn your names and are interested in every idea you have for your wedding day. Their food is to die for, the aesthetic of the whole venue is jaw-dropping, and they’re so kind as to make sure you don’t lift a finger on your wedding day before, during and after it.
But lemme tell you guys about Amy. She is a ray of sunshine and extremely organized, basically the full package! She is there every step of the way and makes you feel like she’s your family member through the process by how much she cares. Any time I was stressed out or had a million questions she was there with a smile and an answer. The amount of love that Amy exudes is unmatched (& her husband Jim!!). Having her there on my wedding day made me know that everything would be okay - it was everything I could’ve imagined and more. I will always be so grateful to the whole team for their endless hard work and kindness, and Amy was the beautiful bow to wrap it all up :) also their food was amazing everyone was talking about it! We added late night pizza from the brick oven and it was such a great addition. 1000% recommend Stone Mill Inn! -

The day my mom and I toured Stone Mill Inn we immediately knew it was "the one". The grounds are gorgeous, immaculate, and they are constantly adding to the property. My husband and I got married at Stone Mill Inn on 11/12/22 and it was an absolutely perfect day. Leading up to the wedding we had 3 planning meetings on site, and it was so fun getting to visit the venue each time. The plannings were so organized and they create a PDF for your entire day so that not a single detail is missed. Amy is amazing - truly the sweetest person. She was so genuinely excited about our special day and it was contagious. Amy and Karen ran the most efficient rehearsal as they kept everyone moving and even helped out our family member who was officiating for the first time. The bridal suite was perfect for getting ready with my girls the morning of - we had hair and makeup done for 8 ladies total. Ken was quick to bring extension cords or anything else our HMU team needed. The entire ceremony and reception flowed so smoothly and Ken was quick to keep things under control and on track as he kept tabs on everything all evening. I never even made it to the bar as Jim waited on my husband and I all evening, making sure we always had a full glass or appetizers to snack on during our couples portraits. The food was delicious and the steaks were huge. The tear down of our decor and florals was completed by the team in the blink of an eye as they packed everything into our cars for us. I cannot imagine getting married at any other venue that was more beautiful or had a better team working our day. Thank you SMI!! -

From the first time my husband, Alex, and I stepped onto the Stone Mill Inn property from when we left our wedding night we were in love! The owners, Ken and Karen, and our coordinator, Olivia, were so nice and so supportive through the entire process!
The property is absolutely gorgeous! You can tell that Ken and Karen take pride in the property and are constantly improving it to make it even more beautiful! The bridal suite was beautiful with cozy feels and plenty of natural light!
The food was absolutely delicious! We loved the tasting experience and our guests even talked about how amazing the food was! We also got their late night pizza option and man was it great! The owner, Ken himself cooks the pizzas out of a wood fire oven right on the patio!
Our entire wedding day was an absolute dream thanks to the owners, our coordinator, and the staff at the Stone Mill Inn. Everyone was so nice and so helpful all day! We truly are thankful that we found them for our wedding! -

We cannot say enough great things about Stone Mill Inn! They really make you feel like family throughout the process + especially the day of! Everything leading up to the wedding day was smooth and easy with Stone Mill!
The food tasting was basically a mini wedding, set up with other couples getting married that year. The food is absolutely delicious! Our guest were raving after the wedding about not only the taste but portion sizes of the food ! They have a large menu of items you can chose from for your wedding day and they will help you to narrow down options and solidify your menu.
The venue itself is gorgeous! From the beginning I knew we did not need to provide a lot of decor, because the venue spoke for itself. However, the venue does provide some of their own decor scattered throughout the space which really helps to complete the whole space! We were able to add a bunch of our own touches + flair which made it feel so special + personal and the venue took care of setting all of that up AND packing it up at the end of the night and loading it into our cars.
Our coordinator, Amy, was great to work with! We had VERY thorough phone calls leading up to the wedding , which was great, we knew everything was taken care of after talking with her + she made sure that everything ran smoothly the day of! We felt such a personal connection with Amy :) You could not ask for a better staff to work with. The owners Ken + Karen are the sweetest + so hardworking, they were at the wedding from the moment we arrived until the end of the night. Jeff actually found my husband and I as we were mingling to tell us our food was going to be placed at our table (amazing! we really appreciated that). We had a lot of family photos to take after the ceremony + the staff made sure there were drinks and apps for all the guests needed for photos as well as the guests who were not!
I could go on and on! My parents were thrilled that the staff followed up with them throughout the day/night to make sure everything was taken care of for them. Again, the venue is a complete fairytale... if you are looking for magical, woodland, garden, outdoor vibes Stone Mill has it all! -

I am so thankful in every way possible that I chose Stone Mill Inn. The owners, the staff, the caterers, the vendors they suggest for you - every person involved treated our wedding and our special day as though it was someone in their own families special day. The venue itself is absolutely so stunning and you get to use EVERY inch of it on your day. And that we did! Over a month later and I continue to get so many compliments on how beautiful the wedding was, how incredible the food was, how great the staff was, etc. I cannot imagine having gotten married anywhere else. Our coordinator, Amy, was so amazing! I did not need a wedding planner with all of the help she provided me! It was so beyond perfect. The woodlands site was the ceremony location of our dreams. This property is absolutely perfect for you if you love the outdoors or even if you want an indoor wedding, but want outdoor photos. I cannot recommend this venue enough. Above and beyond. That is the way we can describe Stone Mill Inn. From the very first tour until the very last guest leaving the wedding, Stone Mill Inn goes above and beyond to make your dream wedding become a reality. And for an incredibly reasonable price! First and foremost, the property is stunning. From inside the Mill to the surrounding grounds, there is no shortage of beauty. You and your photographer will be able to capture incredible photos. Second, Ken and Karen (the owners) treat your wedding like it is their own. We looked at a lot of places and it felt like some places were preying on people's wedding dreams, nickel and diming you for chairs, linens, plates, easels, you name it. Not here. It may sound gimmicky when Ken and Karen say you are joining a family when you work with Stone Mill Inn but it’s true. And this mentality trickles all the way down the staff. The staff is incredible. They truly went above and beyond on the wedding day to make sure we had everything we needed. Olivia, one of their wonderful coordinators, worked so hard to make the day run smoothly and let us tell you, what an asset. The fact Stone Mill includes a wedding day coordinator makes your life so much easier. Trust us. Not once did we have to worry if something was going to be done right or on time. We were able to enjoy our day with our friends and family without having to sweat the details. Not to mention, the food is AMAZING! We can rave about the Stone Mill Inn but let’s give you the reasons we decided to work with them:
1. Location – they are easy to get to from highways and local hotels
2. Layout – The Stone Mill and surrounding property is beautiful
3. The price & no hidden fees – Everything is upfront. You pay for the venue, and you pay for the catering. That’s it. No nickel and diming you and it is very reasonable for the value you are getting.
4. Wedding Coordinator is included – they help plan your wedding day, keep you on track during the planning process and answer all the questions you may have.
5. You will be the only wedding day of – their attention is completely on you. Plus, there are multiple places to get married on the property so there is an A, B, C plan for the day. You can get married outside. If it rains, there’s a big, beautiful tent outside to get marred under, and if it’s really bad weather, you can get married inside the Mill. All things they can make happen last minute if need be.
6. You can bring the alcohol – this may sound like a pain but what a savings. You can buy exactly what you need for your wedding, whether it’s just beer and wine or a full bar service. The bartenders are already included in your price. It is one of the best values out there.
7. Professionals – Ken, Karen, Olivia, Jeff, and all the staff members at the Stone Mill Inn are true professionals in their trade. You and your guests are treated so well, and they take great care to blend right in with your day.
8. The food. From the hors d’oeuvres to dinner, the food is incredible
We know this is a long review and frankly, doesn’t capture everything. All we can say is, definitely visit this place as you are searching for venues. No matter where you go, weddings are stressful to plan, the Stone Mill Inn makes it easier on you and you simply cannot beat the price for their beautiful venue, wonderful staff, and the value you receive.

For as long as I can remember I've always wanted to get married under a tree. So I searched for venues that fit that hit that mark. The knot led me to Stone Mill Inn. One of the amazing things about the Inn is that they only do one wedding a day and other people don't come on the day you will be married, which is awesome but hard to schedule a time to view the venue. So on a Wednesday, 5:30 at night in November we met with Ken to view the venue. Ken is absolutely amazing! He sold us on the venue, not from salesman-eque pitches, he sold by his love of his art. He introduced us to the Inn as one would his favorite child, he was so proud that you instantly wanted to know more. By the end of our time, we had gotten to know the inn and fell also fell in love with its charm and elegance.
The planning process for the Inn was amazing. Stone Mill Inn has its own caterer that you are required to book, but don't worry the food is absolutely amazing! The Inn also allows you to due a tasting to sample some of the dishes they have to offer. The problem is that everything is so good that it really does not help you narrow down what you actually want. We eventually were able to make a decision and two weeks after our wedding, our guests are still talking about the excellent food and service. Jim was amazing during dinner and made sure ourselves and guests were fed and satisfied!
Stone Mill Inn has its own team of wedding coordinators to help you through the planning process and are on site the day of your wedding. Olivia was the wedding coordinator we worked with most closely, but the entire team was amazing! My bridesmaids and I DIY'd all the florals and Olivia and her team made sure they were all put up and ready to go. The day of the wedding was the most non-stressful day of my entire life. It was absolutely perfect! Needs were anticipated before they ever became one and I can say that was all thanks to the Inn! Many of my guests have said they have never seen a wedding and reception run so smoothly, the Inn's team even packs you up at the end of the night!

Stone Mill Inn is an incredible wedding venue!! They treat you like family from the moment you step on the property for a tour to the moment you've just finished the best day of your life and you're leaving with your spouse. The property owners Ken and Karen are the most wonderful hosts and maintain a stunning property!! Amy is the most fantastic wedding coordinator! She is organized and flexible and took care of all the details leading up to the wedding and made our wedding day run so smoothly. My mom and bridesmaids commented on how relaxed they felt throughout the day, and how wonderfully they were cared for by the staff at Stone Mill Inn. As the couple, my husband and I felt like royalty the entire day: the staff was waiting with drinks for us directly after the ceremony and brought us food/drinks while we were taking pictures and walking around to greet guests. Additionally, the food was phenomenal, we got so many great comments from guests about how much they loved it!! I can't say enough good things about this venue and would encourage anyone deciding between a few places to book this venue immediately. -

Stone Mill Inn is truly a wonderful place! Ken and Karen, the owners, made myself and my now husband feel so welcomed and comfortable. Ken or Karen always made themselves available for our family and answered a million and one questions with ease. I cannot imagine a better experience even with Covid protocols. Victoria, our day of coordinator was perfect too! She even double checked the day after our wedding to make sure a missing apple watch wasn't in the Inn. Our wedding was everything I had wanted. The Woodlands space was perfect, rustic and charming without being kitschy or over done, the perfect backdrop for our autumal, rustic, and elegant wedding. And the MILL! God could you ask for a pretty place for a reception? The new patio was wonderful and added much needed space. I cannot say enough good things. Ken and Karen truly have a unique and perfect venue that could not be more unexpectedly wonderful! -

Stone Mill Inn is the absolute best venue around. My husband and I got engaged right before COVID debuted in March of 2020. Stone Mill Inn welcomed us with open arms, and made us apart of their family immediately. The owners Ken and Karen Painter are two of the kindest people I know and you can tell they genuinely love what they do. They take pride in their beautiful venue and its luscious landscape. They both work so hard to make sure each wedding is absolutely perfect for the couple, come rain or shine.
We had the pleasure of working with Victoria and Katelyn for our day of coordination and they are on their A-game all of the time. Victoria is so kind and organized. She really takes the pressure off of you to make sure you are relaxed the day of your wedding. She is truly excited for you and it shows in person or through the multiple emails we shared. Katelyn answered all of my questions in a timely manner and helped ease my nerves right before walking down the aisle.
There are not enough words for the rest of the staff at Stone Mill Inn, they are beyond wonderful and excellent at their jobs. They made sure we had drinks after our ceremony, and that we got to enjoy some of our hors d'oeuvres during our cocktail hour while we were getting photos. They made sure everyone was well taken care of during all aspects of our wedding.
Stone Mill Inn also provides in house catering, which was some of the best food I have eaten, hands down. They are so accommodating to menu changes, allergies, or other dietary restrictions. I had requested boneless chicken breast instead of the airline breast they offered, there was no question about why I wanted it changed, they just made it happen. I have a severe allergy which they took very seriously during the menu planning process and the day of preparations. It really helped me relax and enjoy my meal. The catering team also requested any further dietary restrictions on guests, whether it was a gluten allergy, or if I needed some vegetarian/vegan options. They made it happen so each guest had the best possible experience.
Overall our experience with Stone Mill Inn was phenomenal. They have everything; beautiful venue, stunning landscape, wonderful food and great staff. Each and every person who works there makes your experience the best it can possibly be. -

Breathtaking Venue, Superb Service!
Our daughter’s wedding reception at Stone Mill Inn was so perfect, it was even more than we could have imagined! The initial event planning process was smooth and effortless. The day of the wedding, the entire venue staff was so friendly and professional and helped make our special day run perfectly! The food was absolutely amazing! Guests continue to talk about how fantastic the hors d’oeuvres and dinner tasted! The grounds are breathtaking and there are endless areas for photo opportunities. It is clear that the owner Ken (and Karen) Painter is passionate about his work. In addition to the beauty and excellent food, what made the day even better was that Stone Mill Inn staff took care of everything! In-house food preparation, tablecloths, dinnerware, placement of our décor exactly as we had requested, even loading up our cars at the end of the day! We didn’t lift a finger the entire evening which allowed us to revel in the beauty and significance of the evening! If you’re hoping to be treated like royalty, we recommend Stone Mill Inn highly! It was absolutely the best choice we could have made for our daughter and son-in-law’s big day! -

Do you remember that feeling when you met your spouse, the hair rose up on your arm, you felt a little tingle in your neck? When my wife and I first walked onto the property at Stone Mill Inn and met the owner Ken and then his wife Karen whom walked us around; we looked at each other, smiled, and at the same time said "This is where we are going to begin our forever." We had that hair raised, chilly feeling on a hot June Day in 2020. Over the next calendar year we planned out our dream wedding with the assistance of the entire Stone Mill Inn Staff. They will do whatever they can to go above and beyond to make sure in planning, and then having your big day, you will have the very best day of your life and it is a guarantee that people will talk about it for weeks, months, and I am sure for years to come. The grounds at Stone Mill Inn are absolutely stunning but Ken is always doing even more to make it more beautiful than you or I could even imagine. With recent additions of the Moon Gate and expansion of their beautiful outdoor tented and social area, guests will surely enjoy taking a romantic walk around the grounds or having conversations outside before the ceremony and during the reception. While my wife and I were taking photos we loved seeing people take advantage the entire Mill and grounds. Our outdoor wedding in the Woodlands was literally a fairytale, I can not even tell you all of the amazing things that happened the day of the wedding. A few that stick out: The staff will know your names and anyone important in your wedding party/family. You will not pick up one single box or bag, the stone mill staff goes out of their way to make sure you have the least stressful day possible and they will take care of every single detail of setting up, directing people, and cleaning up, along with loading your car. You will give the coordinator your vision in the planning meetings and they will turn that vision into a reality on the day of the wedding. The FOOD: Oh my gosh! I have been to quite a few weddings and am a foodie of sorts. This food is simply unable to be matched, I wish I could just go back for dinner once a week it is that good! Pro Tip: Please order the crab cake, beautifully plated on a spoon. They will change your life... if you like and can eat seafood. We went heavy on the cocktail hour food and guests were pleased with every single bite and then the seated meal was incredible as well! The servers were swift, kind, and attentive to any guests needs throughout the evening. Pictures: Every single location at the Mill offers a beautiful place for photos and in looking back at our photos each one is our favorite simply because the grounds are absolutely stunning. Service Team: First Class, and then whatever is higher than that. They will make you feel like royalty and you can tell that they simply enjoy being a part of your special day. Every single need will be met and then more. Owners: Ken and Karen are two of the most beautiful people. Their heart for service is unmatched and really shows throughout the entire process. They are simply the best. They rely on the virtues of kindness, humility, putting others first, and serving others. This isn't just a venue to them, this is life and if you choose they will forever be a part of your special story forever. 10+++/10! Fairytale venue
AMAZING!!! We had our wedding here on 5/15/21 and I would highly suggest this venue! We absolutely loved it! Our wedding day was perfect thanks to the beautiful property and the amazing staff. Nichole was so helpful throughout our planning process - always quick to respond. Ken takes such great care of the property and was constantly updating which just added to the beauty of the property. We had our wedding at the Stone Mill Inn on 5/14/21, and we still cannot wrap our heads around how perfect of a day it was! The grounds of the Stone Mill Inn were absolutely beautiful and set the stage for the day. While we could continue with compliments regarding the grounds and venue all day, we must say that the staff at the Stone Mill Inn really made the day. Ken, Nichole, Kate, Karen, Jim, Jeremy, and all of the other staff members were so professional, helpful, fun, and just incredible at what they do. The love and passion that each of them has for the property shined through in the way they cared for it. It was also so clear that each of them truly cared about us and were ready to help us in any way possible. We joked that we certainly felt like a king and queen for the day, and our families echoed our sentiment. Everything was taken care of without us having to worry about a thing. We were welcomed like family from the moment we stepped onto the grounds. We believe truly that we could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding. The Woodlands ceremony space was so tranquil and elegant while also providing the outdoors vibe we were going for - couldn't ask for a more naturally stunning location! The combination of the new touches and updates done recently with the old charm and character of the Mill is just perfect. We could go on and on with compliments, but the bottom line is that the Stone Mill Inn really blew us away, and again it comes down to the combination of the beautiful grounds and the lovely people. The venue sets the stage for a beautiful wedding, and the people really make it memorable and allow you to enjoy it to the fullest! We will certainly recommend this venue to everyone we know without hesitation! Thank you again to everyone at the Stone Mill Inn for helping us create such wonderful memories on our wedding day! -

The Stone Mill Inn is the perfect venue. We hosted our daughter's wedding reception there, and we could not have been more pleased. Our guests could not say enough about the excellent quality of the meal, the beautiful venue, and the friendly staff. Ken and his team do an outstanding job, and all of their interactions have the professional touch that assure you that they know what they are doing, and the personal touch that make you feel like family. Everything we hoped for and more!
Everything about Stone Mill Inn exceeded our expectations. The owners Ken and Karen, the coordinators Nichole and Kate, and the rest of the staff made our wedding day so special and perfect. Everything went how we had imagined, and we are so appreciative of their attention to detail and professionalism. We could not have asked for a better day, and we received lots of compliments from our guests in regards to the beautiful venue, great food and drinks, and wonderful staff. We had a stress free day thanks to the amazing Stone Mill Inn staff, and we highly recommend them! -

While we ended up selecting a different venue for logistical reasons, my fiance and I LOVED touring this venue and working with Nichole and Ken. This would be the perfect venue for couples seeking a beautiful outdoor ceremony on a well-cared for, historic property. We would highly recommend for couples who want an all-inclusive experience with lots of personal flexibility. -

Amazing from beginning to end!
My now husband and I visited Stone Mill Inn simply because we were in the area visiting another venue, and wanted to make the most use of our time (we live in NYC). Stone Mill was our first stop when we arrived in the Lancaster area. We were warmly greeted by their puppy and Ken, and immediately were in awe of the venue's beautiful landscaping. The greenery, the stone, the wood, it was so natural and well taken care of. Ken gave us a tour of the property, which got more magical with each step. We knew if we chose this venue, minimal decor would be needed because the property and on-site decor were already incredible. After learning during our tour that we drove from NYC, Ken- who has the kindest soul- cooked us breakfast and we chatted with him and Karen about our wedding vision, which was SO easy to bring to life at this venue. They REALLYYYYY care about your vision and budget, and not just giving you a one size fits all package. They had only two Saturday options available for the summer of 2019, and only one would work in our schedule. We said yes to the venue without going to look at any others, because we knew it was everything we wanted! And our wedding day truly was amazing. Gorgeous. Delicious food. Wonderful bartenders and staff. Treated Justin and I like gold- brought us our own cocktail hour plate of food, got us drinks, served us first for both dinner and dessert. Listened to every request with a smile on their faces. Minimal stress due to the work and help of Ken and Nichole. Seriously, it was SO incredible to have a truly helpful coordinator included. Simply put, we had the best day of our lives. And highly recommend the Stone Mill! Do it! Now! Stop reading and go visit :) -

My husband and I were just married at Stone Mill Inn on September 29, 2019 and it was absolutely perfect!!
From the very start of our wedding planning process, we knew we had to go with Stone Mill Inn because of Nichole. She is absolutely wonderful and amazing at her job. She is very sweet and helped a lot in figuring out all the major and minor details that we didn’t even know we needed to decide on! She is really good at touching base during the whole process and replying to all of our mass amount of questions! She was honestly one of the main reasons that we went with Stone Mill! We can’t rave about her enough for everything that she has done for us!
Ken and Karen are the owners of Stone Mill Inn and they’ve done an amazing job on the property. Originally, my husband and I were going to have our ceremony around their beautiful fountain and grass area, but over the past several months Ken built their Woodlands. The Woodland area is just absolutely gorgeous and we immediately switched our ceremony location a month before our wedding date. Ken and Nichole were super accommodating and easily transitions all of our previous decisions to adapt to this new spot. From speaking to our wedding guests, everyone loved the Woodlands. It is the perfect shaded, wooded, romantic area with this amazing arbor (that Ken made!) that just made our day so intimate.
We also had a traditional tea ceremony for my side of the family. Originally, my family was to provide some special teacups but it didn’t end up working out. Once Ken and Nichole found out that my family couldn’t provide teacups, Ken decided to let us use his own beautiful teapot and teacup set!! I definitely didn’t know this at the time and was blown away at his generosity using his own personal belongings for us! This just goes to show how important every little detail is to Ken!
We had our reception indoors in the Mill, which we also loved for it’s exposed wood and brick walls. We loved how intimate and rustic the entire place felt. The dinner reception was awesome because the food was amazing and the staff were very attentive. We chose to have a dual served plated meals and it was beyond our expectations! Many of our guests said that it was the best wedding food that they’ve ever had! The staff, which ranged from the servers to Nichole and her assistant Kate to even Ken, were constantly checking in on guests and especially on my husband and I just to make sure everything was going well.
My husband and I are just so happy that we had our special day at Stone Mill. Ken, Nichole, and all of the other employees at Stone Mill go above and beyond to make sure everything is absolutely perfect. We highly recommend Stone Mill Inn for its beautiful grounds and wonderful staff!!

The Stone Mill Inn was the first venue we looked at and we knew this is where we wanted to get married. Now, two weeks later we still can't get over how perfect our day was here.
The first reason why we loved this venue was because of the wedding planner, Nichole. She was amazing and knows what she is doing. She is personable and takes the time to get to know you. She answered every call and text right away. She met with us multiple times leading up to the day to make sure we had everything done and made sure the day was exactly how we wanted it. Even the day of, she and Ken (owner) were waiting for our bridal party with umbrellas to let us into the house. She made sure the bridal party had food, drinks, really anything we needed throughout the day and night. We honestly cannot thank her enough.
Next was the owner, Ken. He also was so personable and hands-on from the very beginning! He truly cares about the property and it shows because it was STUNNING. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was from the woodland ceremony sight to the bridal suite we got ready in. It had down poured the morning of our wedding and he assured me that he would continue to check the weather and try his best to make sure our outdoor ceremony could happen. He checked on us throughout the day and night to make sure everything was running smoothly. He was there up until the very end when he took down all of our decorations and packed up everything so that we did not have to worry about it. Like Nichole, he took the time to get to know us and truly cared.
Finally, the FOOD! The venue uses their own in house chef, who truly cares about the food he puts out. We were invited to a food tasting months before our wedding where he introduced himself and talked about the food. We got so many compliments on the food from our guests. Someone even mentioned that it was the best steak he ever had (which is hard to do when you are preparing steak for a large number of people). Not only was the food delicious the presentation was also beautiful.
We cannot think of one thing that went wrong that day and we truly owe it all to the Stone Mill Inn. We wish we could do it all over again!

The staff at the inn took care of everything that day allowing my husband and our families to relax and truly enjoy the day. Our guests had so many compliments. Getting married at the Stone Mill Inn was the easiest choice! Once we saw the venue in person and spoke to the awesome staff, we were hooked! Our late July wedding was the most amazing day, and the venue really topped it off. It was gorgeous and the grounds were perfect! It fit all of our guests comfortable, and we could not stop getting compliments on just how STUNNING it is. Overall the venue really is just perfect in every way. From beautiful photos to delicious food you get it all with Stone Mill Inn! -

My husband and I got married at the Stone Mill Inn on Sept 21 2018 and it was absolutely perfect! Nichole and Ken were so much fun to work and helped make our day less stressful by being there whenever we needed them. My husband and I are extremely laid back where little to no decorations didn't make or break our wedding day, but Nichole took the little decorations we had and made is so simple and beautiful. It was everything I had ever hoped for! We got married by the fountain which is perfect for small-mid size weddings. I give Stone Mill Inn 5 stars all around because I really can't say anything bad about them! Thank you for giving us memories we will cherish forever -

And despite the suprisingly humid weather, everyone had a blast and we were given DOZENS of compliments on the venue selection! (Which I might add was 1-2 hours drive from our home and all of our guests! Completely worth the drive!) Nichole was really helpful and super sweet to us through the whole process, as well as the owners Ken & Karen. We feel they treated us like the most important couple of the year! We were married May 20, 2018 at the Stone Mill Inn. Everything was absolutely perfect. When we laid eyes on the property we instantly fell in love. The grounds, gardens, the inn, the brick home, everything is BREATHTAKING. The grounds are always in perfect condition and so well taken care of. It is a fairy tale walking on to the property. From the first day we met Nichole from Stone Mill Event, we were hooked! She was absolutely incredible through the whole process and made it completely stress free for us on our end. She handled everything and gave us amazing recommendations and ideas and helped make our vision come true. She LISTENED to everything we said and made it ALL HAPPEN. She is so personable, so friendly and so kind. Any question that we had for her she answered so quickly and she paid such close attention to every detail we threw at her. We didn't worry about a thing being in her hands. Also Ken, the owner of Stone Mill Inn and his wife are absolutely incredible. So down to earth and such lovely people! They helped us in so many ways and made our wedding day perfect! . We were able to arrive at the venue at 9am on our wedding day. We had a whole suite in the beautiful brick home on the property where the bridesmaids and I could get our hair and make up done and relax and get ready all day! The groomsmen and groom also had an awesome area where they were able to be separate from us but able to get ready and hang out! We also spent the evening after the wedding at the inn and stayed at the bed and breakfast. We were greeted by Ken after the wedding at the beautiful brick house on the property and he had a beautiful tray of fresh fruit and cheeses and beverages waiting for us. The next morning he cooked the most amazing breakfast we have ever had! What a way to start our married life together! Beyond perfect. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Kelli Sent on 04/26/2018Anyone knows that looking around for venues can be super stressful but you can remove all that stress by having your wedding and reception at Stone Mill Inn! The owners (Ken & Karen) were so accommodating and kind. You knew they were just as excited to share in our day as we were. When we contracted out a chef to cater our event and we had less than a month until the wedding and the chef was not responding or contacting us to go over questions or changes, Ken offered Stone Mill’s chef to cater our event. We were never ever pressured to use them but they stepped in and helped us when we really needed help. Nicole, our event coordinator was the absolute best! She knows what you want even if you don’t know! Her suggestions were spot on and there was never any pressure. She provided us with venders that we could use but had no problems working with ones we decided on. She replied to every question and email promptly and when we were doing that last minute panic wondering if everything was right, she offered us to come back and go over everything again. The day of the wedding couldn’t have been any more perfect. Nicole was there to assist and guide everyone to where we needed to be. Ken and Karen were also available and helped with anything we needed. The food was terrific, the grounds were absolutely stunning, the house that the bride and bridesmaids got ready in was spacious and had old world charm. The Mill was gorgeous and held everyone comfortably. I honestly cannot say enough about Stone Mill except Thank you!

Jannessa Sent on 03/01/2018If I had to do my wedding over, I would still pick Stone Mill Inn a thousand more times. The area, landscape, and overall feel of the venue is so charming and perfect for a romantic wedding, and we had many guests who have never been there before compliment us on our choice throughout the entire night.
The staff was incredible to work with and made wedding planning a piece of cake. They left you with the confidence that they would do as much as they could to ensure everything was perfect on the big day. Nichole was everything you could ask for in an event planner and more, constantly going above and beyond. It snowed and the staff never complained but instead joined us in admiring the beauty it added to our wedding. Nichole helped the catering staff bring drinks and appetizers to the bridal party in the mansion in the snow while Ken constantly shoveled the paths to make sure they were as safe as possible. They were open to all of our ideas and did everything they could to make them happen, even setting up and heating the tent in the middle of winter. They could not have been more pleasant or accommodating, something that really goes a long way on your wedding day.
The kindness of the staff carried over farther than just with us, our family, or guests. Our other vendors were thrilled to hear our venue was Stone Mill Inn, and it really showed with how comfortable everyone was with each other and how perfect the night was. Their effort to communicate with other vendors is what helped us create an all-star team for our big day.
We are so glad we chose Stone Mill Inn for our venue, and would highly recommend it to anyone searching for a stunningly beautiful space for their event with an astounding staff to assist you.

Kristen Sent on 01/20/2018Most vendors thought I was insane and advised against when I told them I wanted to get married outside in mid December but not the Stone Mill. When I first mentioned it to Nichole her response was 'Cool! I love it'. Having a venue and coordinator that believed in my vision made all the difference. The day before the wedding when I checked the weather and saw the snow storm coming I was nervous. Would they state the hazards and force me to accept Plan B? Nope! Ken and Nichole said 'Here are our ideas. We will cover the chairs until the last minute, heat the walkways to keep the snow melted' and so on. They were incredible the entire time and worked very hard to make my vision a reality. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone and everyone!

We absolutely loved it. Our wedding was two days ago and I wanted to write a review while all the wonderful memories were fresh.
Part of why we loved this venue was because of the wedding planner, Nicole. She took care of everything but still let me have a part in setting up the venue. We had a few conflicts but she fixed them immediately and made everything perfect. I honestly couldn't have imagined trying to get through the whole planning process and wedding day without her help. Plus her personality is incredible so that helps.
The next was the owner. This may not be true but I feel like most venue owners are not hands on. The first time I met the owner (Ken) he was taking off his gardening gloves to shake my hand. He took an interest in how I met my, now husband. Most importantly on the wedding day he greeted me with coffee and let me pet his golden-doodle Cary. He continued to be there to help watch over everything and assist us throughout the evening up until the very end of our reception. If you are looking for a venue you with a kind-hearted, friendly, and fun owner - this is definitely where you will find him.
Of course I have to mention the beauty. This venue shines when it comes to looks. Both during the day and evening (lighting). There are so many options for ceremony locations to match each couples preference. My photographers had a blast creatively thinking of locations to take photos. They had so many different ideas it was basically impossible to fit all of them in. However we still have the most beautiful pictures.
Lastly, unique presentations catering. They no longer require you go with this caterer but I want to express how awesome the chef is. During food tasting we already knew all the food would be delicious but all of my guests were in love and complimented the food constantly. The display and taste are completely worth testing them out.
