    Highly Recommend!

    We booked the Lonestar room in the Stockyards Station for our reception and it was fantastic. They were running a special for the room and we received complimentary upgrades for the time of year. The staff was incredible and easy to work with. Catering goes through one of their approved vendors, and the servers, bartender, and security were all coordinated through the events POC. We coordinated music, bakery, and photography ourselves, but it was so simple! The room was beautiful, everything ran on time, and setup/ cleanup was a breeze. Plus, their location was perfect for an afterparty and entertainment for out of town guests. Overall, we were super happy with our reception!

    If you serve alcohol, we highly recommend their Sangria. It was a hit!

    Awesome Experience at The Exchange/ Hotel Drover

    We had the best experience at this venue. Team was great to work with and the onsite staff was the best! Couldn't ask for more. Would definitely recommend.

    Superior event venue and support staff

    My group had a fantastic time visiting the stockyards, partaking in the shopping experience. and enjoyed all of the entertainment provided. Would definitely recommend this venue for small or large parties/events.

    What a fun venue!!!

    My husband and I used the stockyards as our reception after our ceremony. We had a blast!!! The heritage room has a more industrial/rustic vibe than cowboy, which is exactly what we were looking for. It didn’t require much decoration because it’s such a beautiful open space. Plenty of room for our guests to social distance during our Covid wedding! Ethel handled all of the planning with me and was extremely helpful and responsive. She made sure everything went off without a hitch and really took the stress off my shoulders. Staff at the reception was super kind and accommodating, and made sure i had food and drinks so i was especially happy!! We had a blast here!!!

    Amazing place to have reception!!!!

    When we first booked this venue I did it with hesitation due to staff, and their lack of communication and customer service. However, they had a change in staff which was such a huge blessing to us. Tamara was so amazing...planning our wedding from out of state during covid was stressful...but she was absolutely wonderful!! She put all of our worries at ease and helped us with everything. The night turned out wonderful. The stockyards are a beautiful place!!

    I cannot thank Kendra and the Stockyards Station enough for making my October 2018 wedding wonderful. We had to change venue's last minute, and Kendra stepped in to save the day. She was so accommodating, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire planning process, and everything turned out beyond wonderful because of her help.

    The venue is so beautiful and unique!! Great location, especially for out of town guests. Tamara and Jaime were super attentive and helpful through the whole process. I'm so happy we ended up at Stockyards Station!

    Shay at Stockyards Station is awesome. She is so friendly and responsive. We were able to enter our venue the day before to set up. Our venue was huge and everyone loved the way it looked. It was well maintained and clean. We had an absolute blast, along with all our guests. The atmosphere the Stockyards creates is just so inviting. Shay really took the reigns and kept us in the loop for everything we needed to book.

    Shay at the Stockyards was such an amazing and resourceful person as a contact for the stockyards. We went one day just as visitors, and fell in love with the venue rooms. We contacted Shay that following business day and from there on out she was so helpful. Every question (& there were ALOT!) were answered timely and with professionalism. The day of our wedding the staff was extremely helpful in setting up and making sure everything was in place the way we wanted. The food catered by Risckys BBQ was amazing. All our OOT guests are still raving about it. For the price of the venue, food and historic atmosphere, you cannot beat that!

    Amazing!! Perfect location for everyone but especially out of town guests. Lots to do and touristy so it was fun for everyone. Food was catered by Risky's and it was so good! I am so happy with the decision to have our reception here!!

    We had our ceremony and reception in the Stampede Room at Stockyards Station. The entire planning process was seem less and Shay was amazing to work with. She was always there to answer our questions and was so helpful throughout everything. The venue is beautiful and it's great to be able to choose your own vendors (aside from food which is already included). We got so many compliments on our wedding night about how beautiful and fun the venue was and how great the food was. We couldn't be happier. Everything was perfect!

    We could not have picked a better place to have our wedding and reception. Shay was very informative by showing us the venue (on several occasions). She also showed us pictures of different ways the venue had been set up in the past. She was always available over the phone and email and she always responded quickly. They were very helpful through the whole process.

    Wow, this was perfect for us! We wanted a rustic/country wedding that is a good size and affordable, and this was PERFECT! Shay is absolutely awesome to work with and kept me up to date with everything. She stays on top of things! They are very flexible and it was an absolute BLAST! The only thing was you can't bring in alcohol but that is a liability. i would TOTALLY recommend this if you want a nice sized, fun, flexible venue right in the middle of Ft. Worth.

    My husband and I fell in love with the rooms at the stockyards station the day we went and viewed them. We had originally booked the Stockman's Club, but had to move to the Stampede room because the we were going to have over 200 people. I know there seems to be some bad reviews on here about shay, but let me just tell you she went out of her way to help us with our reception even giving us the larger room at no additional cost at the last minute to help meet our needs. The staff at the Stockyards Station were great, and we had the best night of our lives in this space. I would absolutely recommend this venue.

    The day went off perfectly, the venue was just what we wanted and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! Above everything else, however, Shay is amazing!! I would email her way too often with question after question, change my mind over and over, and she was always there for me with answers. She really does care about the brides she works with and helped me find vendors on top of all that!

    AWESOME!! I had my ceremony and reception in the stampede room and it was everything I hoped it would be. The staff was so helpful and attentive, making us feel like we were the only people in the area. I would do it all over again in an instant!

    I had my wedding reception in the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame in the Fort Worth Stockyards and could not have asked for a better experience. Sherry Sayers and Shay Lawson have obviously been in this business a long time as they, along with the rest of their staff, were flawless. Their genuine attitudes, endless options, and quality of service far exceeded my expectations. A lot goes into planning a wedding, but my reception was not a part I had to worry about because the staff at Stockyards station took care of everything I wanted and more. The attention to detail was impeccable, the food was fantastic (according to my husband and I, as well as many of our guests), the unique and spectacular environment were amazing, and the tireless efforts of each staff member involved was beyond belief. As most brides, you want your once in lifetime occasion to be perfect, and that is exactly what it was at Stockyards Station. There were a few things I would have done differently with my wedding, but having my reception at the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame is NOT one of them. They truly made me and my husband feel very special!

    The stockyards Station is a beautiful place to have a wedding. The staff are friendly and nice. They keep in touch with and and make sure that everything is done right. They even give great ideas on how to set or decorate the wedding/reception. The food is great. They on time and allowed my party to come in a day earlier to decorate. Th price was right. I was so happy the day of my wedding.

    The Stockyard Station was the perfect place for our wedding! Shay Lawson was very helpful and professional in planning our wedding celebration. We wanted to have something fun and semi-casual and not the stuffy hotel banquet room. When I saw the Stockman’s Club, I knew it was perfect for us. We had a small group for the size of the room. Shay Lawson suggested some set-ups and ways to help fill up the space. She went over all the details with me prior to the day and very patient when I changed a few details (and then changed them back). We had the ceremony in the Stockman’s Club and then the reception in the other half. The room was set-up as Shay and I discussed and it looked amazing! The servers and bartenders were very attentive and kind. The food was amazing – two weeks later and my friends and family are still raving about it. We had one of the upgraded menus (with pecan chicken and braised brisket of beef) and it was delicious! I would highly recommend hosting your next event at the Stockyards Station! Thank you Shay for helping to make our wedding such a special and beautiful evening!

    I would recommend the Stockyards for everyone and anyone! My husband is from Missouri so we wanted everyone to get a good feel of Texas and this was perfect and easy. We were in the Stampede room with about 300 guests and it was great. There was plenty of room. We brought in our own decorations but they were so easy to work with and there is SO much you can do with that place!

    We had our Reception at The Stockman's Club. The people were so easy to work with. Everyone involved knew exactly where it was (Bakery, Caterer). We loved it and would definitely have something there again. Everything was excellent and very beautiful!!

    We had the rehearsal dinner for my son and new daughter-in-law, at Stockyard Station, knowing it would be the perfect space to give our out of town guests a taste of Fort Worth, in a relaxed, casual, enjoyable setting.
    Heather could not have been easier to work with, and completely flexible, professional and helpful, when our numbers soared to over 100. The staff the night of the event were very friendly and helpful in any way they could. We had many guests comment on the delicious food, and what a great space the Stockyards are.

    The staff at the Stockyards Station are wonderful! I love the atmosphere here. And the BBQ for the catering is delicious!! All of our guests loved it.

    Shay at Stockyards Station made planning the wedding very easy. She was always highly responsive and helpful. Everyone at the wedding said it was the most FUN they have ever had, & I believe it is largely due to the laid back, rustic atmosphere of the event rooms. My only complaint is we were fully expecting both sides of the room to have a buffet, because that is what we were told, but they only set up on one side because we had less than 200 people. The final head count we submitted was under 200 so I'm not sure why we weren't given that information. Either way, the guests didn't mind waiting in line and it wasn't a hue deal at all. Would definitely recommend Stockyards Station in the future.

    We had a great experience with Stockyards Station. Shay was always easy to get in touch with and accommodated our schedules for meetings. For reception venues in the area, it was very affordable and all of our guests had a great time. It would have been nice if they'd had a coordinator for the day-of, but we just hired our own and it worked out perfectly.

    Couldn't have asked for more. Heather was wonderful and easy to work worth. Food was exceptional and everyone enjoyed the event, the location, and the ability to walk through the museum.

    Working with Heather was fantastic!!! She was always responding to my needs in a very timely manner. I sent her MANY emails with questions throughout the six month contract period. Was very pleased with the service that was provided.

    The room was really nice! It was decorated just like we had asked. The tables were perfect, and the on-site manager was there during the wedding to make sure everything went as planned.

    Our guests loved the cowboy theme, and everyone thought the museum being open was really neat.

    Parking is a slight problem. Make sure to provide a detailed map for guests, and make sure older guests know that they will have to walk a long distance from the free parking.

    The Stockyards are definitely expensive, and that was the only thing that I would have changed. But, considering the surroundings and the level of service, I was happy with my investment.

    Had a great venue for reception. Food was excellent. Many stated it was better than any catered they had eaten. Wished I had taken the left overs with me...as Mother of the bride I was too busy to eat. Heather was a great help and always answered my questions promptly.

    We had our wedding and reception in the Stockman's Club. This venue was great. The value was wonderful. The room rental includes catering, set-up and clean-up of provided tables, linens and decorations. They also provide a security guard and servers. The area was great because there are hotels, food, and entertainment close-by for out of town guests. The event planners were easy to work with and were very helpful during the planning process. The only complaint was that they were a little late opening the room for us and the vendors to set up, but we were there early enough in the day so it worked out fine.

    The venue was gorgeous, just what we had pictured for our small wedding. We were told the only room available was the lone star room. From the pictures I was directed too it looked perfect. However, for a bride booking from out of state they should really offer a 360 virtual tour... This would have helped me understand the placement of things better for the ceremony and reception (which were both held in the one room). The food was a complete hit at the wedding and we appreciated the added boot centerpieces that were used. The drinks were overpriced and really turned off some of our guests, knowing that I would have opted for the sodas to be added so people would have had more choices besides tea and water. Shay was easy to communicate with through email giving her a few days to respond because I was most of the time not available to talk on the phone so this worked great for us. The most annoying thing was the wedding across the hall from us... All the rooms have nothing but walls of windows so you can watch and sometimes hear everything the other wedding was doing when our music wasn't going. Additionally the other wedding had kids running all over the place while we were trying to take our wedding photos making it a bit uncomfortable and really annoying. I think an option of amenities like wall coverings would have been nice. Overall, we loved the place and created a lot of wonderful memories there. Great value, great food and a perfect backdrop for our photos!!

    I recommend this venue to everyone looking for a different feel for their reception. I had a large wedding of about 250 guests and the Stampede Room was perfect!! The room looked great! The only thing that I would change was the attention that the sales staff showed to me. We met one time when I toured, then after I signed the contract and that was it. There is new staff currently, and I'm sure they are better. But overall it was awesome!!!

    The only mess up we had was that at the reception. They did not have a copy of my invoice that showed I had paid for the house champagne, so they tried to tell me that i had to buy the expensive champagne because they were out of the house champagne. It was a bump in the road during the reception, but we were able to get it all sorted out.

    Stockyards Station had the casual elegance we were hoping to find for our wedding. The staff was very accommodating and helpful with each of our concerns. The cost for the two room rental was a bit higher than we were wanting to pay since we used our own caterer, but overall, our experience with the Station was wonderful.

    The venue was beautiful and not extremely expensive. It was difficult to get a hold of Shay and I don't think she kept track of things very well. She asked the same questions multiple times. Also, I told her on multiple occasions that we wanted a champagne toast. Instead of making it clear with us that she had taken that to mean champagne only for us two, I got an awful surprise and everyone had to wait for them to get enough bottles for everyone.

    With such short notice, I was happy to find anyone who could accommodate us for our wedding. I must say though, that they weren't all that flexible. It took Black-eyed Pea calling them for them to allow me an outside caterer. However, Black-eyed Pea was on their list of vendors, but they ask that you choose from a set menu. Not right. Also, they are very expensive for what they offer

    First of all, starting with good, the food catered by Riscky's amazing and well with the servers and bartender. It was a unique place compared to the ordinary to have a wedding, which is why I chose Stockyards Station. Also, it was a reasonably priced venue within the area.

    However, My husband and I were rather displeased with the wedding coordinater, Shay. I am not one to overanalyze every detail, but in the beginning I had to email her serveral times about adding other items to the bill. Secondly, She was never present at the wedding, it would have been appreciated if was she were there even momentarily to confirm everything was as expected. Due to her absence, our last names were mispelled on the marquee and we had two vegan dishes put aside for guests, in which she failed to mention to the servers. I will say that she recommended a good rental company [Simply Elegant] that we used for chair covers and lights.

    A very stressful experience

    Would NOT recommend. Parking was confusing for our guests & the "dressing room" was an employee restroom with a wet floor, no counter space, & no privacy. Most important was the fact that once a deposit had been made for my daughter's reception we were then completely ignored for 9 months. Someone happened to answer the phone twice but not a single phone message or email of ours to the venue's event planner was ever responded to. With only 2 weeks to go, I asked my much more forceful sister in law to step in & she was able to maintain contact with the venue & pull things together at the last minute. As much money as we spent here we should've had much better service in the planning process. I don't like making negative reviews but I don't want another bride, couple, or their families to go through this. Planning a wedding event is stressful enough but being ignored by the venue made it much, much worse.

    Our overall experience with Stockyards Station was not a good one. In the begining it was very tough at times to get a holdd of Shay (director of special events). We understand she was pregnant, but when she was out you couldn't get anything more then her voicemail. We booked the Stampede room with expectations of having 200 guests (min allowed for this room) We thought the Stockman's Club (max of 200) couldn't comfortably hold this number. We unfortunately only had 160 RSVP. We were told we would have a small underage fee for the room. This was understandable. Still feel $500 is a bit steap for only being short 40. We also bought 1 keg of Budlight @ $250. They do not allow ANY alcohol to be brought in. The house wine and champagne is highly over priced. The bartenders would either stand at the bar or (at times) sit on the back with their feet on the bar and wait for our guests to initiate a drink order. Many of our guests were not told about the free Keg beer and would buy (even Budlight) bottles of beer @ $3.50. The food from Risky's BBQ was fantastic. However, it was packed up and the remainder of the food was disposed of in approx 45min of being opened. Not allowing our guests the ability to get seconds from the "buffet". We did have the bartenders fee's taken off after the event but that took some arguing with Shay. Overall, a bad taste remains. Especially after they attempted to charge our parents a seperate "service charge" for using drink tickets for bar drinks. The service charge was already charged in our balance. You should not be charged for using tickets like a bar tab. I know this is rare and I hate that we were the one's who had a bad experience. The overall look and feel of the Stockyards is great. However, I would not reccommend this vendor at this time.

    Stay away!!

    I want to start off and say I’m not one to usually write reviews and I feel bad having to leave this awful of a review, but I would never want another couple to go through what my husband and I had to.
    First off, the venue is great aesthetically-it’s kind of a rustic-chic vibe. The venue gives you the tables and linens built into the price of the venue. They also have some table decorations (black boots, lanterns, and candles that can fit into the lanterns). They go through a company for chairs that you have to rent. They have a set-up crew that was on time and did a great job putting the tables up, linens on the tables, and table decorations on the table when we arrived the morning of the wedding. Wedding guests do get free parking, but just know the parking is for everyone coming to the Stockyards so there is no guarantee of a parking space (we also had to email the venue coordinator the day before our wedding for the parking code as she forgot to give us one).
    Unfortunately, that’s basically the only positives I have to say about the wedding venue.
    The venue coordinator is Molly. While she was a nice person she was definitely doing too much. We could never get in contact with her-expect at least a 1-2 week turnaround for a response from her throughout the entire planning process. My husband and I actually started betting on when she would respond-over or under 1 week. I was constantly having to reach out to her to remind her that I had sent her emails. It felt like we were pulling teeth to get information about the venue, such as pictures of the table decorations, measurements of the table decorations, chairs, measurements of the room and stage, etc. I ALWAYS felt like an inconvenience contacting her. I also felt like a lot of important information was not disclosed-for example, we were told that we would not be able to get into the ceremony and reception room until 2 pm on the wedding day, which is just not acceptable to set up an entire wedding. When I told Molly I would have to look at different venues as that only allows for a 2-hour setup and that is backing directly up to the beginning of the ceremony, she said she could try to make an earlier time work, but it was like it was an odd request and really making her team jump through hoops-still confused by it all. When we toured the venues we would ask questions such as “how is the room usually set up?” and she would respond with “however you would like”, I don’t know if she thought this was helpful to give us free rein to do with the room what we would like, but as someone who has never been married before, this was not helpful and very overwhelming.
    Moving onto the bartenders-WOW, what a rip-off. We had MANY guests say they could literally not taste a drop of alcohol in their drinks. I had friends drinking 20 drinks and were not even feeling tipsy and obviously the wedding venue charges by the drink so they made some great money. Just know if you have a drinking crowd, run from this venue or know that you will be spending thousands of dollars on basically just pop. Another thing was that the staff would pick up a full drink and dispose of it. I cannot even count the number of times I heard someone say “where did my drink go, I just set it down”. Oh and don’t tip the bartenders, staff, or coordinator-the gratuity is included in the bill.
    Onto the catering…We were allowed to use outside catering with the Stockyards venue, I do not think that option is available anymore. I think you can only cater through Reatta and WOW was it expensive for what you got. We went with Magdalena’s (the were AMAZING). We were promised a room that our caterers could prepare in. This did not happen, they had to prepare the food in one of the alleyways of the stockyards. So, just know there is no chef's room to prepare food.
    There is also no bridal or groom suite. That wasn’t a huge issue for us-just wanted to let y’all know!
    Onto the bathrooms…We were promised private event bathrooms that only the wedding guests would use. Sadly, that was not true. We had put together baskets that our guests could use while in the bathroom (deodorant, Advil, perfume, etc.) and it was all STOLEN within 30 minutes. Maybe if the security guard that we had to pay for didn’t hang out at the bar the entire time looking at his phone, all of that would not have been stolen by people who were not a part of the wedding.
    I loved the idea of having a Stockyards wedding and thanks to all the other vendors we had, the day was still a success and the best day ever! Long story short-the venue is beautiful, but be prepared to reinvent the wheel with EVERYTHING and know you will have a horrible response time from the venue coordinator. Let me leave this as a final thought-when I emailed Molly for pictures of the venue she simply said she did not have any-that basically sums up the entire experience with this venue.

    Again, it sucks having to write this review, but I do not want another couple to have to experience this.

    If you are planning to get the stockyards station venues for your wedding or special party please stay away! Shay Lawson is horrible to communicate with, she is not attentive or doesn't answer her emails on a timely matter. I waited 2 months for her to answer a few questions because quote "I am sooo busy right now with parties going on in November and December Christmas parties…so I have not been too terribly focused on my 2017 spring/summer events". Professionalism at its best, how can you answer that to a bride planning her own wedding?!. The day of my wedding the bartender charged my guests for hosted drinks!. Drinks that I had already paid for!. When I informed Shay about it she defended him and told me I couldn't accused him of stealing but my guest paid cash for those drinks so it is more than obvious!. The count that was submitted as a final bill could have included drinks that he also charged. He turned in a bigger amount of soft drinks than what it was ordered. Bottom line I got screwed over by the bartender and they can't do anything about it. She said they will solve it on their end. Here I am writing this almost 3 months after my wedding and I have not received a call of a follow up or anything at all.
    Another issue I had was the week of the wedding Shay asked for my last count I had paid for 100 guests; I had 106 adults and 11 kids at the time she asked. I asked her if we could do extras after the wedding because I clearly stated I didn't want to overpay. She said no and told me I had to turn in a final count. I end up having 99 adults and 11 kids at the wedding. I asked if it could be modified at first she said no but then complied after I mentioned she could of had more empathy and said yes to bill later like contract states since it wasn't a huge difference in guests.
