Steven was so wonderful to work with in creating a positive and meaningful wedding ceremony. He virtually met with us first to get to know us, our relationship, and our vision for the ceremony and I knew he was the perfect officiant for us. He worked with us to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. We had a part in our ceremony that was something he had never done (a Native American blanket ceremony) and he not only welcomed that idea with open arms, but did research and added his own touch to the ceremony in a respectful and caring way. We received so many compliments from our guest about the ceremony in part to his planning, carefully selected words, and energy. I highly recommend working with him. -

Steven was everything we could have hoped for in an officiant- he really guided us through the process and put in a lot of time upfront to make sure we were happy with the ceremony. The end result felt personal and intimate. We had an early morning wedding for a small group outdoors (no microphone) he did a great job with delivery and guests in the back row complimented that they were able to clearly hear the entire ceremony. Overall tone was professional, friendly and charming! -

He guided us every step of the way, from pre-ceremony preparations, writing our vows, and aligning his ceremonial delivery to express our vision + values. His light-hearted demeanor & humor coupled with his depth & devotion to his craft left us feeling confident and held at the altar, and our guests feeling sublimely entertained and dewy eyed. Steven was an integral part of our wedding, and a big part of why it turned out so well. When we first began planning our wedding, we weren't exactly sure what we would want from an officiant, we just knew what we didn't want. In our initial emails with him, we could tell that he was the right fit for us and when we met with him in person, we felt even more comfortable. Steven has a very positive and reassuring way of connecting. He wanted to know us, who we were, what drove us, and what made us fall in love with each other. Throughout the planning process, he offered us helpful tips and genuine insight, and we each corresponded with him individually so that he could incorporate our inner feelings and appreciations for one another into the ceremony. I would wholeheartedly recommend Steven; I really feel that he helped us elevate our words and our ceremony to levels we had not considered prior to working with him. -

We had to organize our ceremony from abroad, and Steven was very accommodating. He provided examples of different ceremonies and allowed us to be creative in adapting sections to fit our couple. We did lots of back and forths to polish the final result and even though we didn't meet in person until on the day I felt everything was in good hands. He was very professional and present during the ceremony - he gave me some welcome and subtle reminders to breath! Many people commented on how beautiful and uncommon the ceremony was. I'd recommend in a heartbeat! -

Eric and I were referred to Steven by another Austin-area officiant. We met with Steven twice, the first time so he could get to know us and the kind of ceremony that we wanted. He gave us some great advice and a list of "types" of ceremonies that we could use to build our own, custom features.
We got so many compliments from our guest on how wonderful Steven is (we already knew that) and how the ceremony/vows were like nothing they had ever heard. It was beautiful and fun and exactly what we wanted.
We love Steven and cannot recommend him more highly!

Lori Sent on 10/31/2017Words cannot express how grateful we are that Steven was able to perform our ceremony! My husband has known Steven for many years and I met him a few years ago. From the moment we started talking about getting married we knew we wanted Steven as our officiant and we were grateful he was available on our wedding date. The process was super easy and Steven sent us many examples of vows and other verbiage to help us along. We were a bit stumped when writing our vows because we wanted to come up with something unique. Steven even constructed our vows out of a few statements that we had come up with! He really listens to what you want and then turns it into a beautiful, special and personalized ceremony. Steven is a wonderful person and his sweet and easy personality showed through during the ceremony. It was super windy during our ceremony and Steven was well-prepared with heavy cardstock notes and kept his hands well-placed so that the pages wouldn't blown away. :) It was so so beautiful and we appreciated all of the effort and personal touches he provided. I received so many compliments from guests on the ceremony and most importantly, my husband and I loved it immensely! I would highly recommend Steven as your officiant!

Matt Sent on 10/05/2017Steven was the PERFECT fit for our wedding. He was extremely easy to work with, even from a large distance. He made every effort to get to know as much about my fiancée and I even though we live in Wisconsin. He helped and guided us in creating our custom ceremony, vows, and wrote a heartfelt story about our relationship that HE created from what we told and wrote him about each other. His calming and soft demeanor helped us specifically in dealing with a very personal and close family loss that affected our ceremony immensely. He was able to make that sad moment into a happy remembrance.
And lastly, the man has an awesome Scottish accent! I mean, how cool is that!!!
Thank you Steven. I could not imagine anyone better to have been a key part of our amazing day. -

We found Steven through the glowing recommendation of our original officiant when we switched venues and the original officiant couldn't make it.
Im SO GLAD we were able to work with Steven! From the first meeting, he got us excited to plan our wedding ceremony instead of uptight and stressed. Essentially after the first meeting, we did all of the planning through Google Docs and it was super easy. His words really captured the essence of our relationship and we couldn't be happier with how the ceremony turned out. The ceremony wouldn't have been the same without him! :) -
