Personable, flexible, and friendly!

We contacted Steve somewhat last-minute, and he was quick to schedule meetings and communicate about the day. We enjoyed chatting with him and knew quickly that it'd be a great match. He was very flexible and willing to change the script to suit our preferences with no judgment. On the day of, he arrived early to touch base with me and my husband, which was much appreciated! His words were touching, and I was happy that he incorporated many things I wanted and didn't even have to say. I also greatly appreciated that he stepped to the side so as not to be in the photos during our first kiss - as a former wedding photographer myself, that is a level of self-awareness that most officiants do not have! He is very personable and struck up conversations with many of our guests, and even accepted our offer to stay for dinner! He truly blended in to the day, and it was wonderful to be married by him. Thank you so much, Steve!

Beautiful Ceremony

We’re so glad that Steve officiated our wedding! His ceremony was beautiful from start to finish. We were asked several times in the days following our wedding if Steve was related to one of us, because the ceremony felt so personal and emotional. When we met a few months out from the wedding date, he helped us pick a unity ceremony, and he sent us an overview of the ceremony order, which helped a lot with any public speaking anxiety. My (bride’s) mom is rehabbing her knees, and Steve was happy to escort her in the processional since my dad was with me. Steve is easygoing and professional, and our bridal party is still talking about how much they enjoyed him. He’s a great choice!

Flexible and So Kind

We were so happy to have Steve conduct our wedding ceremony. He tailored the vows and ceremony to our preferences and was just a kind and accepting person. We heard of Steve through a recommendation, and would definitely pay it forward to anyone looking for an officiant. He kept it simple, and had some really touching words about love and the symbolism of our wedding bands. Our guests all mentioned how nice the ceremony was.

Wonderful!

Amazing and Affordable!

Steve officiated our wedding on October 11th and he was amazing! He was there when he said he would be and kept in contact with us if we had any questions. He took our values and religious stand points into consideration and did exactly what we needed. If you're wanting an officiant that is amazing, polite, and punctual (not to mention affordable), then Steve is your guy! Thank you so much, Steve! We absolutely loved you!

Very Professional

He arrived an hour early to make sure he could talk to us and wouldn’t be late. He was very personable and gave us a ceremony I haven’t seen at any other wedding. A little pricey but well worth it.

Steve was very helpful with us doing a destination wedding. He went over the wedding details very well over the phone and answered any question we had. He responded very quickly to any emails we sent. Steve gave us a beautiful ceremony even made sure the day of, he went over the ceremony again with each of us. Patient, flexible and great value

Steve was very thorough in our first interview in making sure he understood exactly what we wanted from our ceremony. Friendly, very patient, easy to talk to, and responded promptly to questions. Very reasonable pricing for our out-of-the-way wedding.
He was flexible with our requests and accommodated last minute changes with no trouble. He also delivers a really touching sermon--my husband totally cried.

Steve did a great job at our wedding. He spent a few hours with us, getting to know us, a few weeks before the ceremony. He really tried to make it personal and include everything we wanted into the script. His script for the wedding was very sweet and everyone really enjoyed it. He also stayed for the rehearsal dinner and the reception, which made it seem like he wasn't just there to make money. We would recommend Steve if you need a wedding officiant!

Steve promptly returned my call and was very easy to talk to about our ceremony. He was flexible about planning and really wanted to know what exactly it was we wanted. He was even willing to drive to Roan Mountain State Park for our ceremony. Now that the wedding has passed many of our guests have commented on the ceremony. Both of the groom's grandmothers said this was the most enjoyable ceremony they have ever been to. Close friends of ours said it was so unique and entertaining. I even had people ask me if I had a video of the ceremony to send to them. I failed to think of that, so learn from my mistake even if you just ask a close friend to take a video with their phone. You will want to look back on the words, laughs, and tears that were shared with you and your guests.

Steve was wonderful to work with. Responded quickly and was professional yet very easy going. He performed our wedding at a campsite in Townsend on April Fool's Day, which also happened to be on Easter Sunday. He arrived early talked with us a bit and put everyone at ease. Highly recommend and also very reasonable for budget conscience couples.

Steve was absolutely PERFECT for our day. We had a small wedding with our immediate family and he made it mean so much. A few months before the wedding he was very active in all of the details which was super nice. He also made a beautiful suggestion of adding a Sand Ceremony to our wedding which definitely put the icing on the cake. He also was very flexible and drove all the way from Tennessee for our wedding in North Carolina. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Mr. Steve did a great job! He provided us with clear instructions on what he needed from us in a timely manner. The ceremony was truly beautiful because of his dedication to helping our vowels reflect our personalities.

Steve Learn was an absolutely perfect choice for our wedding ceremony! He is easy to stay in contact with, he is detail-oriented, and when we saw him tear up at one moment during our ceremony, you could clearly tell truly cares about the people he works with and enjoys what he does. Steve was such a warm and friendly person, who also knew how to make things lite when times got stressful. He was extremely accommodating. We were VERY behind schedule, and he made us relaxed about it. His speech was moving, and he even expressed emotion, which touched everyone. I highly recommend Steve for your wedding nuptials.

Steve was fantastic! He did a great job of communicating with us before the wedding. I asked him to do a blessing at the reception which wasn't part of my original request. Many of my family members came to me and told me what a great job he did after the wedding! He made our day fantastic!

Steve accomplished exactly what we asked of him, and his fees are incredibly reasonable. He was able to accommodate our families' differing religious backgrounds seamlessly in a short but sweet ceremony with just the right amount of humor. He really made our wedding special. He didn't have a problem with the wedding attire and was even willing to do the ceremony in the rain if we had to due to last min weather changes. Anyone would be lucky to have steve make your wedding official. Thank you steve for all you did.

My fiancé and I contacted Steve on very short notice with a few quirky request, he was happy to accommodate our needs and wants for the ceremony. Steve was helpful with walking us through the process before hand he defiantly made the day less nerve racking and more enjoyable for us. Steve gave us no reason for a bad comment we recommend him to any of our family or friends.

He was very respectful of what we wanted and was on time. He stayed in constant contact to let you know whatever we needed him to do he would. Pricing is great.

Steve did a great job for our wedding and rehearsal, made sure all ourights guest and Bridal party were comfortable and entertained through the the ceremony! He's great!

Steve was great to work with.

He was very flexible in the content of our ceremony, including passages we recommended and modifying those he recommended. He was helpful in providing a lovely witness as well as recommendations for an outdoor ceremony in an unofficial location. Steve traveled some distance to get to our location and had to wait an additional 20 minutes for us (we were caught in particularly heavy traffic in Cade's Cove). He was gracious in the face of both obstacles.

We asked for a relaxed and comfortable event and Steve provided that very well , he kept it low key and comfortable as requested. Steve's attire may have been a little tool relaxed (sneakers and a Steelers sweatshirt) but to be fair we did indicate we would be wearing blue jeans and didn't discuss his attire.

It's obvious Steve doesn't have a lot of experience but I don't think that had a negative impact on the event.

I would recommended Steve to anyone looking for a great guy to work with.

I contacted Steve about his services at very short notice for my wedding. Our rehersal went off without a hitch and the wedding was lovely. You could tell it was his first time, but the ceremony went very smoothly.

Steve was great. He was quick to respond to messages and was willing to brave the summer heat at our outdoor ceremony. We had a mix up as far as the meeting spot before hand but that was most likely just miscommunication. Luckily it was resolved pretty quickly. The ceremony was what we wanted short and sweet and Steve delivered just that.

Awful not professional had family come to me after and say he sucked

I had people come up to me and say it was bad. From the comments that he was in charge to the talking crap about decorations to literally messing up during ceremony. Papers got signed he referred to finding information online multiple times which made it worse. Job was done but not great or happily. If I could redo I would unfortunately a wedding isn't an easy redo. Unhappy!
