Steve was wonderful!
Summit Strings was amazing - Steve was super helpful and easy to work with. They even learned a new song for me that I have always wanted for the bridal processional. I'm so grateful we were able to have them play at our wedding and cocktail hour. It was perfect! -

We hired Summit Strings for our wedding at Twickenham House and Hall in Jefferson, NC in July, 2023. Their quality of service, responsiveness, professionalism, value, and flexibility were 5 out of 5! All of our guests raved about the ceremony music and I am very thankful to Steve and his team for making it all happen and working hard for the songs I requested. They even found a stellar vocalist to sing Stand by Me and WOW was he amazing...everyone was amazed by his voice and how he was captivating. I can't thank Summit Strings enough for being part of our special day and would hire them again and again and again! 5 out of 5 stars recommended!!! -

We used Summit Strings for our ceremony/cocktail hour music for our September 17th wedding, and we were so happy we did! I was planning a wedding NC from NY so it was important to me that I had a vendor team I could trust and Steve and his team absolutely fit the bill! Steve was totally receptive to what my husband and I wanted. We loved that we could give him explicit requests on certain pieces of music, but we could also trust him to play pieces that aligned with the overall feeling of the day. I would absolutely recommend Summit Strings to anyone and everyone! -

I recently got married at Sky Retreat in Purlear, NC & Summit Strings was EVERYTHING I could've ever asked for. I can't remember the last time I attended a wedding that had a live duo & honestly...it was an absolute DREAM.
From Start to Finish I received nothing short of excellent communication, kindness, & prompt response time. Honestly, their videos are amazing; however, it is NOTHING compared to them performing live. Seriously , this is one vendor that was a MUST for us & I couldn't imagine our day without them! -

Above and Beyond Expectations
I arranged for Steve and one of his all-stars from Summit Strings to play for my proposal, and it was worth every penny. They braved a chilly day, truly going above and beyond to make our engagement day one we will never forget. From the first note, my now fiancée was in tears as Summit Strings incorporated a couple of special songs into their playlist. We will be asking them to return for the wedding next year and, without question, would endorse anyone interested in live music for an event to book them. -

Steve was utterly amazing! He not only nailed our musical vision to a tee but he provided some of the most memorable performances we could have ever asked for! He is extremely professional, arrived early and was flexible when we had a slight delay. We could not have had any better musician for our ceremony! Great String Quartet
Perfect String quartet for our wedding! Great mix or modern and classic songs to choose from! Steve worked with me on many special Hymns sung during the service. We needed these hymns played in certain ways with different rhythms and accents and Steve accommodated it all! They showed up on time and played beautifully. We had many guests compliment the music after the ceremony. I would recommend this quartet to anyone. Thank you Summit Strings! -

A Perfect Touch to a Perfect Day!
Summit Strings was such a beautiful addition to our wedding day. Each of their members were truly gifted and created such a magical atmosphere for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Professional, timely and beautiful
Steve and his team were so easy to work with! He played the guitar and cello while his partner played the violin. They were very professional and timely. We got married in early April of this year and Steve Holman played the cello for our cocktail hour at our wedding. We could not have been more pleased with his gifting, his professionalism, and his communication throughout this whole process. Summit strings is a great choice in live music! Steve helped us set up our ceremony sound and even learned two new songs to help our ceremony be just what we always wanted. Talented and easy to work with!
Steve from Summit Strings was extremely flexible with our changing COVID wedding date and was willing to learn a new song we were wanting for our ceremony. He also responded to our many emails very quickly and assured our questions were answered. They arrived early and were set up far in advance to start playing for the early arrivers. Our guests were extremely impressed with their talent and they perfectly executed the songs we had requested. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for live musicians for their wedding to keep the guests entertained and interactive and for a personalized ceremony music experience. -
