Steve was amazing! He was the DJ and MC for our wedding and did a fantastic job. From the moment we met him, we knew we wanted to move forward with booking. He has so much experience in this industry and knew the right questions to ask to make sure our day flowed well and to ensure he knew exactly what we wanted. On the day of our wedding, he was very prompt and set everything up early, ensuring all equipment was functional and ready to go - he provided a lapel microphone for our officiant, a wireless microphone for a reading, and music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.
He was also very quick on his feet! We had a storm roll in during our reception that made the power go out about 6 times. He never missed a beat and had the music rolling where it left off as fast as possible. As a fun surprise for our guests at the end of the night, we broke out Steve’s karaoke system and sang the night away for the last hour. Steve is dependable, fun, and amenable to changes, and he played a large part in making our day so special. We cannot recommend him enough!Steve Gregory DJ's reply:

I have been the President of my College Fraternity Alumni group since the 1980s and have utilized Mr. Gregory's DJ and Karaoke services during many of our Reunions over those 40 years. He has worked diligently with me to ensure the programs we put together flow to cover the speakers involved and of course the dancing and celebrations we have experienced. I have also attended Weddings and other functions he has been MC of and without fail his personality and knowledge of what music to play when, has resulted in many wonderful weddings getting of with a memorable start.. -

Have a Party with DJ Steve!
Steve made our wedding into a real party–playing just the right mix of songs to get and keep people dancing, with both classics for the older folks and EDM/techno hits for us millennials. He was great to work with, and incredibly helpful not only in orchestrating the music and MCing the ceremony, but providing timelines and other resources to help us plan. This was extra helpful since we were planning and managing the wedding ourselves. Steve made everything we asked him to happen with tasteful flair and showmanship, and we can't thank him enough for his excellent talents for our wedding!Steve Gregory DJ's reply:

We worked with DJ Steve for our wedding in April and he was absolutely wonderful! Our wedding day ended up being a bit more flexible because of the rain storm, and Steve was more than willing to help flip our ceremony and cocktail hour to accommodate waiting out the rain for an outdoor ceremony. We're so grateful for his flexibility in the set up! Additionally, he was so communicative leading up to the big day and sent us a very detailed prep packet with questions about our ceremony and reception. This was an immensely helpful document to help me and the groom think through both of these aspects for our wedding day and talk through what we were envisioning. My initial conversations were with Gayle. After doubtful conversations with other DJs, she was the warm and comforting voice that I needed to hear. Not only was she timely in offering all information, but she went out of her way to provide help with selection. For me, this included Celtic processional song options; she had entire playlists! This was greatly helpful. The couple tailors the wedding to your desires. They have a thorough questionnaire as well as interview to ensure accuracy. Steve willingly edited a song for our first dance. Their experience with weddings showed as they actively designed a timeline which moved guests efficiently. When coordinating an event in only 5 hours, this is very important. Songs selected made the wedding very classy. The sound quality was beautiful and comforted me as I walked down the isle with my father. Once the party started, Greg knew how to keep the dance floor moving. I received many compliments from guests. Would recommend to anyone. They were more than a DJ service, they were part of my professional wedding family!! -

Although wedding planning can be very stressful, both went above and beyond to help us plan the wedding of our dreams. They were organized and very accessible whenever we had any questions/concerns. They even helped us work on our wedding day timeline as well as coordinating with our other vendors. Even though it rained the entire day, they both went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly. All of our guests had a fabulous time and were on the dance floor the entire evening! I would absolutely recommend them to everybody. Thank you for making our wedding so spectacular! We can’t thank you enough!!!

Susan Sent on 06/27/2018Steve and Gayle Gregory provided DJ services for my daughter's wedding reception at the Inn at Willow Grove this past weekend. While venue, food and facilities are critical for a successful wedding, the DJ really sets the tone for the party. Steve and Gayle worked with my daughter and her fiancee to plan the music, toasts, and general flow of the event. All of our guests commented that it was a great wedding and many said it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Even my 80-year old parents were out on the dance floor! I give Steve and Gayle a lot of credit for the success of my daughter's wedding! Thank you Steve and Gayle!! -

Georgia Sent on 05/02/2018Steve and Gayle were wonderful to work with! They responded quickly to my initial questions, and I knew immediately that they would be a perfect fit. They had never worked at my wedding venue before, but they made a special trip to see the location and walk around the ceremony site to figure out how their equipment would work. My favorite part of working with both of them was that they took the time to meet with me and my (now) husband to tailor the experience to us! The setup for the ceremony was great, all of our guests said they were able to hear us and the minister for the outside ceremony. The music for dancing flowed so well, the majority of the guests were on the dance floor all night, and those that weren't were able to talk outside without being drowned out by the music. I would definitely recommend Steve for any event, and Gayle is an amazing bonus! -

A DJ who works so hard ahead of time is a DJ that allows the bride and groom to enjoy the party as much as everyone else. My bride and I were so wrapped up in the moment that the details of the event are a bit of a blur, but I clearly remember the party was hopping the entire time, and the dance floor was always packed. The fact that the event was so seamless is what made it so great in our memories. We had planned everything fairly well, working with Steve the entire time, and he executed perfectly. He had an excellent, detailed form that we filled out to express our desires for the event, and we discussed everything ahead of time. He was extremely communicative leading up to the event, and he handled every detail so that we could just enjoy the moment. He was very accommodating to our every wish, whether it was lugging his equipment up to a small balcony, or playing a custom mp3.
My clearer memories of Steve have him announcing us, kicking off the first dances, and guiding people toward food. I remember him reading some sweet words my bride and I had written ahead of time, and I know he managed to assemble a crowd for the cake cutting. At one point I saw him leading people in a line dance, smiles and laughs all around. My wife and I were focused on each other, on family, on friends; and we'd pop onto the dance floor whenever we had a moment to spare. It really was the best day ever.
