Samantha and Pete were the photographers for our wedding this past weekend. They were both so easy to work with and both the groom and I clicked with each of them immediately. Samantha was so professional but also made everything a lot of fun. She worked with our special requests and made sure we were able to get all the shots we wanted, while also suggesting others that we may also like. Pete was our second shooter, and was so helpful with getting shots of the groomsmen getting ready, and then with helping Samantha for the remainder of the day. During the ceremony and reception, I didn't notice the photographers or videographer anywhere, yet I know they were right in the heart of the action getting so many great shots! I would definitely recommend Samantha for a wedding day- she was fun, easy to work with, professional and so talented!

I haven't gotten our pictures yet, but of those she showed us that day we are impressed. Obviously, if anything changes this review will be updated further.

Stephen Taylor and his team are incredible. We had Art and Peter at our wedding and they were hilarious. The pictures turned out better than I could imagine.

We had Dave M. from Stephen Taylor as our wedding photographer and had a photo booth through them. They were a fantastic company to work with and Dave is hilarious. We already got our sample images and they all look beautiful and Dave did a great job taking photographs of everything - he even captured small details from decorations that we did not notice at the time of our wedding. We would highly recommend them to everyone!

Stephen Taylor Photography was absolutely wonderful! Not only did they capture our wedding day perfectly, they were an absolute joy to work with. I received my wedding video, pictures and photo albums even earlier than promised! Thank you to Stephen Taylor and our photographer, Samantha, we can't wait to come back in the future!

We found it hard to agree on a wedding photographer and videographer, but we're both very pleased that we went with Stephen Taylor's studio for our Sept 2014 wedding. Scott Argenziano was our photographer; he has the kind of calm, easygoing personality that we were both very comfortable with. He did an excellent job of capturing all the pictures on our shot list as well as lots of great candids and artistic shots. We were able to view the digital images within a week and were thrilled with the pictures. There were literally hundreds of terrific shots! Tony Kennette was our videographer. He brings a fun, playful yet totally professional style to his work that helped us both feel at ease. He was very unobtrusive yet seemed to have been everywhere, judging from the video he captured. Highly recommend this team.

Stephen Taylor Photography is incredible! Their consultation is quick, efficient and they understood my vision for pictures. The week before the wedding, when I had lots of questions and wanted to double check everything, they put my mind at ease. On the day of the wedding, the photographers (we had two) took GORGEOUS pictures and asked about my preferences (which portrait shots we wanted, anything special- which I showed pictures from Pinterest that he used ideas from-, added my own ideas in, whether I liked black and white pictures, etc.). Even when things got a little stressful with other vendors and attendants, the photographers were professional and calming. They were the people who put me at ease (besides my husband, of course). When we received the pictures, we truly loved every one. We have not received our albums or video yet but know that they will look perfect. Stephen Taylor Photograhy, you turned the best day of my life into BEAUTIFUL memories that I will cherish forever. Two of my friends are also using them for their upcoming weddings. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We specifically sought out Stephen Taylor Photography since they did my brother's wedding several years ago. We were delighted when they were one of the recommended photographers for our venue as well.

Stephen did everything he could to accommodate our schedule from meetings, listening to our desires, working with us on what we wanted, to even conducting our engagement photo shoot himself. Having just picked up our wedding album we are overjoyed with the final product.

Our photos are exactly what we wanted. They fit our style and encompassed everything we wanted for our special day.

Excellent photographer, really works hard to get you what you want. Uses a photojournalistic style, not constant setup shots. But of course will do some glam shots at request or if the moment arises. Overall very satisfied and plan to use him for other events as well.

Timely, organized, creative, professional, fun, and entertaining! If you want a stress free wedding day, this would be the photographer to chose! Amazing that I didn't even notice them during the reception or ceremony unless needed!

While paying what may be considered a premium above other choices at the time of the wedding, the quality and artistic touch were more than worth it, and years later it was quite a bargain. I am attaching an email I recently sent to Stephen to summarize our feelings:

I was looking through pictures we are collecting for my Mom’s 90th birthday and I browsed through the box from our wedding last evening. I can’t believe how well you captured the feeling of the event, and I feel like I relived a part of it even though it is almost 20 years later. I attached a scan of a picture that captured the moment perfectly (and this is an off-centered cropped version). I highly recommend Stephen Taylor Photography. He and his team were wonderful and my wedding pictures and video came out fantastic- I couldn't have asked for anything more. Scott, the photographer, captured the moments of the entire day in such an artistic way. He was like a ninja, we didn't even know he was there! It was a pleasure working with this vendor.

Hello Stephen,

We would like to thank you, our photographer Dave, and your staff for making our wedding photo experience flawless.

Our photographer seemed to be 'everywhere' capturing the most special moments at the best angles yet we never really noticed him.

Nancy and I did not want to pose for lengthy photo sessions away from our guests, but photos taken showing our guests having a laugh, dancing or even shedding a tear.

It wasn't until we saw our proofs that we realized just how many special moments he photographed and that we would enjoy for the rest of our lives.

After the wedding Stephen, your service continued to be excellent and 'turnkey'. Your availablilty by email was timely and allowed us - by that I mean Nancy a busy personnel administrator and me a frequent business traveler to choose our photos on-line right from our home.

Since our wedding was before the Holidays, you and your staff assisted us in preparing beautiful Holiday cards to mail out to our friends and family. Also your framing service of a cherished photo of myself and two of my best buddies from college standing aside my antique car - just outstanding.

Nancy and I give you our full permission to use our photos and certainly this letter for any of your potential clients who may consider using your professional photography services.

Stephen Taylor photography is wonderful. Samantha was the best. She asked us how do we want to remember our wedding 50 year from today. I looked at some other studios with styles that looked like a scripted movie ,hokey. I wanted more natural, authentic documentary of my day. I want to look back at my images and see what we truly looked like, Timeless. The love, fun, relationships. Not what a photographer posed us to be. They did a full family and bridal photo session that lasted about an hour. We did some posing but with a minimum of direction. We just did want too much. They did give us a choice of how much direction we wanted. Samantha said she worked at other studios that did very creative fashion style posing and she can do that as well but warned us that we may regret this look later in life. Their prices were better then all other studios. They have a beautiful studio in a Bernardsville. They don't meet you at Starbucks or work at of their apartment like others we looked at. Their reputation in the industry is impeccable. We found them because they are referred by many of the top venues. That recommendation meant a lot for us. Use them you won't be sorry.

Arthur Green is amazing! Our pictures are absolutely breathtaking and he captured everything we wanted to a T.

He was so easy to work with and flexible with the shots we wanted. We got married a few days after hurricane sandy and had our formal location change due. He was so flexible and ready for anything!

I highly recommend them for your wedding photos!

We loved Stephen Taylor. They had the most affordable prices around and offered great service. We had two photographers at our wedding and they captured every moment! We had a difficult time selecting our proofs for our album because all of the pictures were beautiful. They had our proofs to us in less than a week after our wedding and once we submitted our request, our album was back in less than 3 months! I would totally recommend them to anyone!!!!

These guys have been around for a long time. They have a different touch to their work. Anyone who knows something about art will love their images. One of a kind!
We used them for our daughters wedding and they did a fine job. Courteous and honest. You may spend a few dollars more for them but in the end all you have are the pictures. They also did a nice video. Stephen and team are fine ladies and gentleman. First class! Use you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I were put at ease as soon as we stepped into Stephen Taylor's office. Their level of professionalism is beyond anything we had seen from any other "wedding photography company". We were able to sit in a viewing room, and go through different photographers in our price range. They were never pushy, we were able to build our own wedding package for what we could afford and we were extremely happy with the end result! The photos are everything we could have hoped for!

We used Paul Mecca from the Stephen Taylor studio and he was just phenomenal. We saw work he did from another wedding and new we had to have him. He called us a few days before our wedding to go over all the details again, ask what he should wear, and just to put us at ease. The day of the wedding he showed up on time and came up with the greatest shots. The greatest compliment I can give is that we loved EVERY SINGLE photo he took - there was not one picture that we thought was 'just okay' let alone bad. You will not regret choosing him!

Scott, my wedding photographer, was fabulous! Stephen Taylor and his staff do a wonderful job from beginning to end- they are easy to work with and take the time to go over your special requests from well before the wedding until after. When I saw my pictures for the first time, I was in complete awe. I didn't know I could look so good (!) and Scott really captured the essence of the wedding and the love between myself and my husband. I would recommend Stephen Taylor Photography to anyone looking for high quality, professional photography.

WOW! What can I say. Our images are Stunning and Magnificent . So easy to work with. I'm a tough client and demand a lot of attention. Stephen gave it to me. Everything I asked they found a way to work out. I have been at so many weddings where the photography staff was not professional either bad attitude or not dressed well. Stephen Taylor studios was so professional and knew how to make us all feel comfortable. I met my photographer before my wedding and we had so much fun discussing my day. Not expensive and worth every dollar.

Our photographer, Art, was great to work with, and our engagement session with Stephen was a lot of fun. The photos from both days came out beautifully as well. The only thing that prevents me from giving a full 5 star rating is that somehow we ended up with no real portraits of my husband and I with only our 2 year old son. We were naturally disappointed about that, but we do have extensive and beautiful photos from our day and are pretty confident that we can crop larger group photos to make up for this oversight.

I cannot say enough about my experience working with everyone at Stephen Taylor Photography. From my engagement session to my wedding day, I could not have been happier. Our wedding day photographer, Dave, was terrific, putting everyone at ease the entire day. The photographs truly captured all of the emotion and fun from that day. We had an impossible time selecting the photos for our album because they were all so good...I can hardly wait to see the final product.

I would highly recommend this studio to any bride!

I would highly recommend using Stephen Taylor Photography for your wedding! Dave and Arthur were our photographers and were amazing. They truly belended into the crowd and we didn't notice them (other than during the portraits of course). I loved how they captured the emotion of the day. My favorite photo is one of me grinning from ear to ear as I look down the aisle and my dad is by my side with tears in his eyes. They effectively captured the excitement of the day by keeping us relaxed. Truly photojounalistic - the day wasn't a photo shoot...it was a wedding. Dave kept us laughing during the family portraits and did a great job keeping everyone focused so we could make it on time to our cocktail hour. Overall an amazing experience and the photos directly from the camera were spectacular. I can only imagine the quality after some touch-ups.

Our photographer, Joe Church, was fantastic, very detail-oriented and our photographs are absolutely lovely. The communication was a little tricky for me as I live abroad and couldn't speak with the office in person, but I'm very happy with the decision to use them and would recommend them to anyone.

The photographers at Stephen Taylor do an amazing job of making your vision come to life. They take their time to learn what you like and what you're expecting for your wedding photos. They truly make it their priority to insure that you are comfortable, and that you are getting what you hope for. Also, there will be no shortage of photos for you to choose from! My husband and I actually had trouble cutting pictures out of the 900+ proofs when putting together our wedding album! There's a reason so many people have used Stephen Taylor through the years- they are reliable and provide consistently great photography services.

The moment I walked into the studio to meet with Stephen and Arthur (the photographer) I knew right away I wanted him for our wedding. I met with several photographers and there was no doubt that Arthur was the right choice! He did an amazing job the day of the wedding. Our family is huge and he very patiently and efficiently got as many family portraits as possible. After the formal pictures you truly did not even know Arthur was there. He was extremely nice, professional, patient, and courteous. I have seen the photos online and they came out really beautiful. It is still early for receiving our album so I cannot comment on that yet but I can tell you so far we're thrilled with the services we received from Stephen Taylor Photography. Thank you!!

I used Joe Church for my Oct 2010 wedding after literally falling in love with some of the pictures we saw that he took. He was awesome. Really great to work with, extremely professional and did a great job both with the posed pictures (we had 5 kids in our wedding under 10 years old) and with the candids. The album was done with Stephen. Although sometimes it took a few phone calls to get things worked out we could not be happier with the way that it came out. It is beautiful and I am so happy with our choice. It is expensive but then again most things with weddings are.... and I think it was worth the money.

quality of photos was excellent and photographers were unobtrusive during the wedding. There were several mix ups during processing and getting the final albums took an inordinately long period of time

Overall, we are happy with their work.
Slightly disappointed that it didnt seem like we got the extra bang for the buck for getting the second photographer.

While we LOVED the photographer we picked from their selection, we had a difficult time working with this place. They double booked our photographer for a late night wedding the night before ours, when we had booked her for an early morning start time months before. Then they gave me a hard time about wanting the photogropher to be there at 7 am to capture me getting dressed at my parents house. I found them to be a little expensive and we just received a proof "journal" - no actual proofs, which was disappointing. Although they do make you a DVD with some of what they feel are the best pictures of the day - which is a nice keepsake to have, especially since we didn't have a videographer. They were a little inflexible - though our pictures came out fantastic, again thanks to the wonderfully talented photographer we selected. I have mixed feelings about working with them.

I waited to submit to view the pictures again and to distance myself from the event to allow for more objectivity to our experience. The anger has subsided but the disappointment is as strong. After looking at Stephen’s portfolio of work we decided to contract with him. The video is wonderful and the videographer did a great job.
The quality of the pictures is excellent however the majority of the pictures are the traditional routine posed weddings pics, nothing that shows any unique style. Samantha was assigned to the event and she contacted my daughter via email introducing herself. She asked my daughter to complete a questionnaire about the wedding and to identify any pictures/poses that were important to be taken. None of the 5 pics my daughter listed were taken. When posing the bride Samantha never fixed the dress, the train is bunched up - the photographer provided no attention to the details. The second photographer was a waste of money and when my daughter asked him to take some pics he told her he needed to get permission from “her.” Essentially we paid for him to carry a camera bag.
We received the digital proofs within 2 weeks after the wedding and although the contract has a strict timeline for selection of pics for the album he offers no timeline for his deliverables. It took several phone calls and emails, to repeatedly answer the same questions he had and it was necessary to make the same request for edits to the selected pics – my daughter felt he wasn’t listening to her. Finally, nearly 3 months after the wedding and after multiple requests for him to please complete the album she received the album.
The photographic style we received from this studio didn’t come close to what we had expected or what Stephen sold us. We contacted Stephen to express our disappointment and concern with the pictures however he defends his work. Since all is paid and you cannot redo the event there is nothing that can be done other then pass on our experience.

Stephen Taylor Photography came highly recommended to us. We thought we hit the jackpot with securing them for our wedding day however we are extremely disappointed with their service and results. Arthur was phenomenal to work with but afterwards (when it was too late) we realized we should have written down EVERY shot we wanted and not left it to his judgement. MANY pictures were not captured that we wanted. For example, there are no pictures of our wedding bands together. On a day a crazy as your wedding day you hope you rely on someone who has done it before to remind you that they need the wedding bands for a second to take a picture. The assistant photographer was wandering around, following Arthur when he should have been capturing other things. He needed to be explicitly directed on what pictures to take. There was no creativity behind their work. Most of the shots that are "okay" and somewhat acceptable have the videographer in it, blocking people or blocking the action. There are at least 10 pictures that were taken by the professional that were captured better by guests at the wedding. It has been extremely difficult to put the wedding album together due to the amount of disappointment we have with their service. I would ONLY use them again if I had detailed instructions to give the photographer because if you trust their judgement, you will come up empty-handed after having spent a large amount of money. You can never get that day back....
When we expressed to Stephen our disappointment he barely listened and said he disagreed. He has done nothing else to help us create an album that we will like. He just keeps saying "the pictures are beautiful, do the album"... Not what you want to hear from the person you trusted to capture the most important day of your life through pictures.

While Stephen Taylor is extrmely professional, I cannot say the same for Joe. Joe was my photographer and he did not get family photos that he was suppose to get, he skipped table shots, and even worse, he didn't take portrait shots of the bride and groom! He did excellent editorial style/action shots but really missed the traditional portraits that make an album. I had to have my wedding portrait photo-shopped by their graphic artist. This is something that is truly unacceptable and doesn't make for happy clients. It's not like you can go backwards to fix the day but obviously something was lacking.
