Reliably beautiful flowers with excellent customer service every time!
Stephanie designed all the flowers for my wedding back in 2015. This year, for our 10 year anniversary, we decided to return to where we got married for a vow renewal. She made a replica bouquet for me, boutonnières for my husband and boys, flower crowns for me and my daughter and swag for the cross for our ceremony. Everything was so beautiful and I am so happy with how everything turned out! She is so kind and easy to work with! 10 years later but the same amazing service and products! -

Stephanie's Secret Garden provided all the flowers at my son's recent wedding. She exceeded our expectations with beautifully-arranged autumn-inspired floral arrangements: the bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, the ceremony and cocktail hour arrangements, and the gorgeous centerpieces on all the tables. When I share photos of the wedding, the one comment I consistently receive is how beautiful and colorful were the flowers. Highly recommend!! -

Gorgeous Wedding Flowers!!!
Stephanie was wonderful to work with. She was able to translate our ideas into beautiful flower arrangements. She gave us ideas that would save us money and keep us in budget. I loved getting the sample bouquets and table arrangements. When we walked into the space it literally took our breath away. She gave us everything that we asked for and more. We couldn’t have been happier with the flowers and with Stephanie’s Secret Garden. -

My dream wedding
The easiest part of my wedding was working with Stephanie at Stephanie's Secret Garden. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous and the flowers she did for our rustic barn venue were simply georgous. Stephanie was very responsive and accomodating. She listened to what I was envisioning and with her knowledge and expertise turned my wedding bouquet and venue into the stuff dreams are made of. -

We used Stephanie for our wedding flowers in Spring 2023. The whole process, Stephanie was very proactive. We met several times at her flower shop to discuss our vision and different flower options. She did a mock centerpiece arrangement and mock bridal bouquet in the months leading up to the wedding so we could see everything ahead of time. We were very pleased with all the bouquets, the boutonnieres, centerpieces, and flower swag used on our ceremony arbor. She helped make our garden party wedding vision come to life! -

Stephanie did the flowers for our wedding and they were incredible!! She and her team are so talented and all of the flowers and greenery at our wedding were insanely gorgeous. She is so fun to work with and is able to make your vision come to life so perfectly. One cool thing she does is about 2 months before your wedding, she does a trial and she puts together a bouquet and centerpiece to make sure its what you want or if there's anything you'd like to change. She is so creative and she makes sure everything is set up perfectly the day of the wedding. She's very hands on and does not just drop off flowers - she made sure each table was set up perfectly with the centerpiece, greenery, and the votives. The flowers were definitely one of the highlights of our wedding day and we got so many compliments on how gorgeous they were. We highly recommend Stephanie for your wedding or any event! -

Amazing florals that brought our venue so much life!
We had a very bare-bones venue that had only been used a couple of times, so we knew the bulk of our decor would be florals and greenery. Stephanie was PERFECT for it. After a couple of phone calls, emails, and her actual visit to the venue, she knew exactly how to make our vision come to life. She dressed the columns, staircase banisters, tables, and wedding cake beautifully and simply. She even used the bag of tulle from my wedding dress alterations to cinch our cocktail table linens for the hourglass shape I wanted! I could not recommend her more, she was fabulous. -

Stephanie and her team did an incredible job taking a plain old barn and turning it into a festive, beautiful setting for our daughter's wedding reception. Every table looked wonderful with the muted tones of whites & pinks we requested, and the touches of garlands, greens, and pops of color throughout really made the event pop. Even the venue owner couldn't believe the difference. Stephanie walked us through from start to finish and was always available to collaborate to make sure we got exactly what we were wanting, and her suggestions and expertise helped us focus on what would work best at our venue. Stephanie is hands down the best at what she does. I came to her with a very limited budget and she took my vision and made it a reality. She is direct and clear with her feedback and tells you upfront if your vision makes sense with the season and types of blooms that are available. She also has urns and vases that you can use which is incredible. We chose to do greenery and pumpkins for our centerpieces and they came together so beautifully. I really cannot say enough about Stephanie, her eye for floral arrangements is truly amazing!! -

Stephanie made our day BEAUTIFUL!
Working with Stephanie was WONDERFUL!! She was incredibly helpful when it came to choosing what we wanted for our wedding. I do not know a lot about flowers, but just by telling her our venue and style she was able to come up with a PERFECT mix of flowers for our big day. She talked through every detail with us and offered advice for saving money while still maintaining the look we wanted! And everything was beautiful the day of too! Our ceremony arch and my bouquet looked like something out of a bridal magazine! She is a true artist!!! Thank you Stephanie!!! -

I honestly don't know if there's enough space here to fully explain just how wonderful Stephanie is, and how perfect our experience with her was. My husband and I were married on May 15th, 2021. Our original date was may 16th of the previous year - but as with many of my fellow 2020, we had made the decision to postpone in light of the pandemic. This means that Stephanie worked with us, patiently and graciously, for almost two years. She was more than understanding of the situation, and adjusted our contract without hesitation. I mention this because I have heard horror stories about brides whose vendors refused to accommodate the new date, and even charged to change the contract. Stephanie did neither of these things - and I don't think it even crossed her mind. The relief and reassurance that brought, amidst all that turmoil, was indescribable.
Now, as far as the process of making a vision become a reality goes - Stephanie was spot on. She dealt with my (oftentimes) vague and abstract requests without even blinking an eye. I remember describing my desired color scheme for the as a "Colorado sunset," and she truly brought it to life. She requested a few photos to help visualize my idea, and was off! I'm not the most creative person but Stephanie absolutely is; she new exactly how to perfect and elevate each of my ideas. Stephanie also took each new request in stride, and there were many (I guess that's what happens when you have two years to plan!). She was never bothered or frustrated, just happy to help ensure my vision came to life.
I'd also like to mention that Stephanie and I were nearly two thousand miles apart throughout this entire process. Because of this, we relied heavily on email to communicate. She was incredibly communicative; always responding to my emails within a day, sending me photos of various flowers, potential arrangements, various fabrics to wrap the bouquets in, vases to use, the list goes on. Her level of communication was incredibly reassuring, given that I was so far away. I knew that I was in good hands, and trusted her completely.
I truly can't recommend Stephanie enough. She was incredible. I'll never forget walking into my venue on the wedding and seeing how beautifully she had transformed the space. The beauty of her work took my breath away. Stephanie - I can't thank you enough. You are the only florist I will ever recommend to my Maryland friends. You are that good. -

Stephanie was wonderful to work with from start to finish! I was not entirely sure what I was looking for when she and I first sat down, but she spent a lot of time with me to learn about my style. We decided to go in one direction, but after she and I met again where she had created samples (a WONDERFUL perk of working with her!), I had a few different ideas that she completely went along with. Our flowers day of were absolutely gorgeous and had been set up perfectly by the time I arrived at the wedding venue. Lastly, Stephanie was willing to work within my budget! She is incredibly talented, creative, and a great listener. I could not recommend her more! -

She took our daughter's vision, elevated it and made the most magical, natural floral works of art. Stephanie added touches we had not even thought of, but were so inline with our vision. There were flower crowns, other floral hairpieces, boutonnières, wrist corsages, table pieces (lavender plants and succulents to create a woodland feel), barn decor, arch flowers, and the bouquet...just perfect! I would highly recommend Stephanie's Secret Garden for your event needs, especially if you are looking for unique pieces of floral art! I have attached some candids from a friend. I will add professional shots when we get them to really do the flowers justice!

Joan Sent on 03/12/2018Stephanie was wonderful to work with! We were planning a Silver Spring, MD wedding from a distance, with the bride in NC and the mother-of-the-bride in TX. She was flexible in meeting with us and we were able to ship supplies like candles & vases directly to her - being able to provide these ourselves was a cost savings. She worked with our requested color scheme and suggested flowers that would be available at our time of year and steared us away from others that were either not durable enough or not available in March. The church looked lovely and so did the reception and bouquets. Somehow our cake topper went missing but Stephanie saved the day, responding to our last-minute text with the suggestion of dressing the cake with flowers. And the reception flowers lasted for more than a week afterwards when we gave bouquets to friends to take home. High quality flowers & beautiful work - thanks Stephanie!

Her team did a wonderful job with the set up, I didn't have to worry about a single thing. The flowers were absolutely one of my favorite parts of our day. We received so many compliments and will enjoy seeing them in pictures for many years to come.

Carrie Sent on 02/07/2012The flowers that Stephanie put together were so stunning. Stephanie spent countless hours with me figuring out what I liked and wanted. I changed my mind so many times, and she never got frustrated with me, but just kept digging to see what it was I really wanted. My bouquet was prettier than I envisioned, and she made miniature bouquets for the mothers which were just as pretty (I actually would have been just as happy with the mother's bouquets if I was on a tight budget). Would recommend Stephanie in a heart beat. -

She is very patient, she answered every question we could think of and went above and beyond and expectation I had regarding our flowers. She and her assistant Linda made me sample flowers for the bride and bridal party and centerpieces. She spent countless hours with my mom and I designing our arrangements, and was able to pick out the best ideas.
I was a bit upset wedding day that my bouquet was different than what we had planned. But when I called to ask about it, I understood that the flowers that arrived that time of year for my bouquet came in looking off, so she substituted others that were similar. They looked great, and I'm happy she went ahead and switched them out. -

I was lucky that she was available as I didn't even contact her until about a month out - my date was the only one she had left for April! She saw my vision and made it happen in record time. I knew our vibes would totally mesh when I went to her rustic chic studio on her family farm. She incorporated the beauty of peonies with my succulent themed wedding - look closely at the bouquet. She helped me design the arch look and suggested ideas to do it on a budget. I provided the fabric, but she hung, along with her flowers creation, the day of. As a bride on a budget, it was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but worth it for the high quality of her work! -

Failed to honor her own proposal. Flower decorations on cake were lame and not nearly as described in proposal despite us supplying photos to follow. Sweetheart table never got decorated - she forgot? Not a single flower. Ordered the wrong vessels for the table arrangements, offered to loan us ones she already had, but then expected us to return them to her after the wedding. What a way to kill a vibe! The bouquets for bride and MOH were nice. Other than that, didn't live up to her reputation at all.
