  10/10 Highly recommend Stephanie as your Wedding Photographer!

  We'd give 10 stars to Stephanie if we could, she made our wedding experience absolutely perfect before, during, and after our wedding day! We hired her about a year in advance, and from the very beginning she was specific with her expectations, listened carefully to every word we said, and really got to know us as more than just her client. She can command a room easily and professionally, which is exactly what we were looking for. Our venue recommended Stephanie to us and she's worked there before, so we were able to look at exact photos of her work at our venue which was super helpful. She has also done Catholic church weddings, which was a requirement for us, and she knew all the details and specifics to capture every special moment during the ceremony.
  As part of her contract, she offered an engagement photo shoot for us, and she traveled from Leesburg to our town Manassas to take photos after work one day. It was a cold, Nov. day, we were absolutely freezing, and the sun went down halfway through our 1-hr long session. HOWEVER, she was still able to capture amazing photos even with minimal light, and she even stayed a little after the hour mark to make sure she could get the photos in the dark. And the photos turned out amazing! We can't tell which photos were taken before the sun went down and which were taken after!
  In preparing for our day, she had a couple detailed meetings with us to make sure she captured every photo moment we wanted on our wedding day within the contract time frame - that extra communication was exactly what we needed to keep ourselves calm right before the wedding day. We used her 10-hour package but ended up hiring her for an additional hour to make sure we got some getting-ready photos, and we're so glad we did! She arrived early and prepared, and she jumped right into taking photos immediately. She was friendly with all of our vendors, who even started calling themselves the A-team since they've all worked together before our wedding!
  The day of our wedding was perfect! She captured every single candid moment that we wanted to remember forever, and we never felt like she was in the way during the entire day. We had a short amount of time to get church photos after the ceremony, and we had a church coordinator who even turned the lights off on us trying to get us to leave, but Stephanie was professional and efficient the entire time and made sure to get every photo. At our venue, she captured every detail! And she even snuck in some golden hour photos which we were on the fence about getting, depending on time. All of our guests love the dancing photos and never felt like she was in the way. And at the end of the night, when we had our private dance after the send-off, she even stayed a little after the venue was supposed to close down to make sure she got every angle during our dance. We cannot recommend Stephanie for wedding photography enough, if you are on the fence about who to choose or where to start in your search, please start here! Thank you for everything Stephanie!

  Our Favorite Photographer!

  We were lucky enough to have Stephanie take our engagement photos, and they turned out absolutely stunning!
  
  As a couple, we don’t have much experience with photoshoots, but Stephanie guided us through the whole process. She was an expert in posing, making us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. She was also very open to recreating specific poses we were interested in. I tend to feel insecure, but Stephanie made me feel beautiful throughout the whole session, and it showed in our photos.
  
  Overall, we are in love with our photos and will be coming back to Stephanie Michelle Photography for future life-events. She is a wonderful human to work with and we highly recommend her services!

  Loved our photos!

  Stephanie photographed our engagement session and October wedding. We absolutely love every photo that Stephanie took! She listened to our wish list and paid attention to the images we wanted to capture for our special day. Stephanie was easy to work with, offered suggestions for our vision and timeline, helped corral our families for group shots, and was generally fun to be around! We would absolutely recommend Stephanie and hope to work with her in the future for family portraits!

  Stephanie was a wonderful photographer!! We knew after our engagement photoshoot we had made the right choice. She is friendly, easy to work with, and knew what to do for us to have the best photos possible.   Perfect for anyone nervous about getting photographed (and everyone else too!)

  We so appreciated having Stephanie on our wedding day! Her energy is honestly so infectious and she helps you have so much fun taking your photos. My now husband and I were both a little bit nervous to take our engagement photos and Stephanie immediately helped us feel more comfortable being in front of the camera. I loved how much she balanced giving us direction and posing us and letting us embrace our natural goofiness. We have so many amazing memories documented now that truly show who we are, so we'll always be incredibly appreciative of her. From a logistics standpoint, Stephanie was very communicative as we asked for additional information and discussed the contract. We had a zoom call in the week leading up to the wedding so she had an exact idea of what shots we wanted with our families, each other, our first look, etc. We booked Stephanie's Forever Package and can't recommend it enough!

  Wonderful Memories!

  Stephanie was the photographer for my brother and sister in law’s wedding. She captured some of our most treasures family memories that day. How fortunate for us that she relocated to our area and was available for a Holiday mini-shoot! She was incredibly responsive leading up to the shoot and chose an amazing, festive location. She was VERY patient with our five year old (who wasn’t in the greatest mood the day of our shoot) and managed to capture our family’s love and joy. I highly recommend Stephanie for any of your special occasions.

  Best Wedding Decision We Made

  To start and give some context my wife and I had a small wedding. We had less than 70 guests and it was in my mother's backyard. We didn't have a wedding planner and we survived mostly off the good will and contributions from our families and personal wallets.
  
  From the beginning working with Stephanie she was professional, personable, and so much fun to work with.
  
  If you've never coordinated a wedding or taken part in one as bride/groom you may not be aware of why people hire wedding planners. You get turned around beyond any party you may have hosted in your life. Time escapes your perception and if you don't have a guide of some kind you're going to wish you had one.
  
  Stephanie was our guide with a major emphasis on specifying and sticking to a timeline.
  
  The photos. Immaculate. Pretty sure she took several thousand then curated the best.
  
  The day of the wedding. We were hauled and prodded and handshaked to exhaustion all the while Stephanie was there calling and directing who was next for a photo. She took charge and we did as we were told. We'd told her in our Zoom call what we wanted and she made sure it was gotten.

  Stephanie is the best!!! She is such a professional in what she does and her work speaks for herself. She was our photographer for our wedding this October and was able to execute our vision while going above and beyond. I've never met as great as a photographer as her who knew just exactly what poses and aspects to snap.

  Family photo shoot

  Stephanie is AMAZING! She captured perfect photos of our family and also some incredible action shots of my dance company. I never like pictures of me, but she posed me just right and I actually have shared photos of me with people - something I usually don’t do. She is so personable and patient and GREAT with kids! Even my 2 little boys who do not enjoy pictures! I could not recommend her more!

  We just had our engagement session with Stephanie. She was excellent. Made us feel very comfortable and really captured the beautiful setting of our engagement photos. I highly recommend you booking with her company. All communication has been straight forward and easy and we are so excited for her to capture our special day!

  The best photographer!

  Stephanie is an amazing photographer! She took creative pictures that show how special our wedding day was. We also had her do a photography session for my daughter and her new husband on the beach. Absolutely gorgeous pictures that will give us a lifetime of memories! Thank you Stephanie!

  Stephanie has shot all of our family photos, our daughter's senior pictures, and hopefully when the time comes her wedding! She treats all customers as if there is no one else! She puts you at ease anytime she is working with you! I have seen her progress through the years and she just gets more amazing

  Professional and a wonderful experience

  Stephanie did an amazing job photographing our wedding! She was EVERYWHERE- but never intrusive. We did really fun, great shots and she has a great sense of humor. We felt like Stephanie understood us as a couple and catered her photos to us. She's a really cool person who we enjoyed spending a good chunk of our wedding day with.

  Stephanie has been an absolute dream to work with. She captured our wedding day more perfectly than I could have ever imagined. She was kind, professional, communicative, and got our photos to us in a timely manner. She doesn’t miss a single detail and is just a joy to work with. We have had her take more photos for us since our wedding and have been thrilled with our pictures and every time! She is truly one of the best photographers there is!

  Passionate and Gifted

  We just wanted to give an amazing review for Stephanie! She did our engagement photos and was wonderful. From the moment we met her she made it so comfortable. She made us laugh nonstop through the whole thing. My fiancé was a bit nervous about doing the pics and was not all into it but when he met Stephanie he had a blast! I can't thank her enough for all she did. Every picture we wanted she took it right then and there! Truly has a passion for what she does and it shows!

  Stephanie made the experience fun and personal! From the engagement shoot to the wedding photos, we were so relaxed and able to let go and enjoy every moment! We never had to worry about what our photos would look like! We knew each one would be beautiful and a great representation of how everyone was feeling! I even booked Stephanie separately after our wedding for a boudoir photo shoot for my husband‘s 30th birthday! I’m so sad that she’s so far away now, but our loss is your gain! You’ll never regret your decision to book her for any type of photo shoot! She’s THAT great and versatile!
