Suzanna and team are the best you're going to find, hands down. I simply can't put to words how grateful we are to Stems Brooklyn for making our floral dreams come true on our wedding day -- and coordinating with our other vendors to really bring the entire concept to life!! This is an extraordinarily special group of people who put a lot of heart behind the work they do, and it is completely felt. Logistically, everything was incredibly smooth, anticipatory, and stayed within budget. 100000/10 stars. We're buying all of our floral arrangements from Stems BK forever. That is simply how much we love them. -

We truly cannot say enough good things about Stems - they were hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
From the very beginning, they were laid-back, creative, and so thoughtful.
Meeting them in person at their cozy studio felt like sitting down with old friends and their energy and style just instantly clicked with us. We left that meeting feeling completely at ease and so excited.
And then… the flowers. Wow. They absolutely aced the assignment. The arrangements were romantic, effortless, and perfectly captured that late summer / early fall coziness we were going for. Every detail felt intentional and completely “us.” We’re still hearing from guests about how stunning everything looked, and every time we show people photos, the flowers are one of the first things they comment on.
Total pros and absolute artists. If you're looking to bring your vision to life in the most beautiful, effortless way, look no further. We’re forever grateful! -

I cannot emphasize enough how much I loved working with Stems to bring my vibrant, bright & whimsical wedding flower vision to life. When it came to florals, I had some pretty unconventional ideas that I thought were probably unrealistic — all sorts of hanging flower garlands and whatnot — and they made every single one of them happen! They far exceeded my expectations, and I honestly cried when I saw my bridal bouquet — that’s how perfect it was. Also, they did EXACTLY what I asked, which was create a bridal bouquet that looked like the extension of my bright floral unconventional wedding dress (see pic!) Every member of their team was also so kind and cheerful and genuine and got just as excited about the details as I did :) I have zero complaints; booking them was the best decision and I cannot recommend them enough!! -

We wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for the stunning floral arrangements that Stems created for our wedding. From the very first consultation to the final touches on our big day, their professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail truly made our vision come to life. They really listened to what we wanted and were able to deliver on the color pallet we dreamed of.
The bouquets, centerpieces, and all the floral elements were nothing short of magical. They added so much beauty to our celebration that exceeded all our expectations. Our guests were stunned, and we continue to receive compliments on how breathtaking everything looked. Especially the incredible ceiling installation!
They were also so thoughtful to let us take home a floral arrangement from our floral sample meeting and also sent beautiful flowers the week of our wedding. They were so attentive during the floral sample meeting and made sure to cover everything we could possibly need, down to the candles and holders. We also really appreciate their commitment to sustainability.

Julia was super responsive throughout the wedding planning process. We wanted a florist who we could give creative license to and trust that they would do an incredible job, and that's just what Stems did. They helped us pick a color scheme and gave us an idea of what types of flowers would be in season for our wedding. All of the materials they sent were super helpful in giving us an idea of what everything would look like, and in the end it came out beautifully. -

Working with Stems was absolutely incredible. We got married on 2/11/23 at the Wythe Hotel. Not only did our ceremony florals look amazing, and our reception space, but they gave me the perfect bridal bouquet of my DREAMS. Julia was such a great partner in helping us figure out where to place each floral fixture, and she really went above and beyond with her suggestions and recommendations. I could not have picked a better floral team to work with. They completely understood our vibe and helped craft the most gorgeous, moody, candlelit wedding. You won't regret working with Stems! -

We're from the UK and decided to elope in New York. We booked our elopement with Eloping is Fun and the owner, Jenny, recommended Stems for my bouquet. I looked them up on Instagram and immediately knew they were perfect. Their bouquets are bright and full of colour, which is exactly what I dreamt of having. Their 'a la carte' menu meant I could choose just a bouquet and boutonniere for a reasonable price.
Ordering was so easy, and I was able to add any styling notes if I had any particular requests. I loved their designs so much I was happy for them to just do their thing, but requested some peonies be included if they had any. I chose to have them delivered to our hotel the day before our wedding, and was so surprised to receive an email from Stems with a photo of the finished bouquet while we were out exploring NYC. They also emailed to confirm that the flowers had been delivered to the front desk. I really appreciated this attention to detail, not to mention the flowers themselves which were STUNNING. They were delivered in a jar of water so I just kept them cool in the fridge in our hotel room overnight. They looked amazing on our wedding day and kept beautifully for the remainder of our time in NYC. I couldn't recommend Stems highly enough! Thank you! -

We started planning our wedding at the Prospect Park Boathouse before the pandemic hit. We had been fans of Stems' work since they were located within Sycamore Bar, so we were very excited to work with them.
Once things got taken off pause, Stems were very professional in picking up communication and helping us decide on new arrangements based on the change of date. They designed a beautiful set of arrangements in addition to an incredible chuppah we still get compliments about. Stems is the best!

Stems Brooklyn - and Zara specifically - made our wedding the event it was. They are so talented & thoughtful. Every single bouquet, table and vase was a unique work of art that together became a magnificent environment. And not only that, but Zara and Stems were truly a partner to us across a crazy year of covid-required wedding postponement & some re-ideating based on the new year. All of our guests are still raving about the wedding arch/chuppah (with its branches, wispiness & integrated twinkly lights), table settings and more. I'm obsessed! -

The team at Stems Brooklyn were incredible. They created beautiful arrangements and installations and were so kind and thoughtful during the process of planning my wedding - letting me push the date multiple times and reaching out to check in w/me during Covid. I know they put so much love attention into the work the did for my wedding and I can't thank them enough. Zara and her team are true artists and just straight-up wonderful people. -

I contacted Stems to order a bridal bouquet a boutonniere for our winter elopement. Zara was quick to respond and a delight to work with. The whole process, from proposal to pick up, was really streamlined. I basically just requested a color palette and they did their magic and totally delivered on our flowers. I would 100% recommend working with Stems - you will not have stress about the details and the product is sure to be stunning! -

I did not know what my flower dreams were made of until it was created for my wedding!!! I had found Stems through Instagram and loved their arrangements and their mission of sustainability. I spoke with Zara on the phone for an initial consultation and I felt like she heard me vision and was ready to make it a reality within budge. Her enthusiasm and knowledge of flowers got me excited and I knew we had to have them for our wedding.
Zara was flexible and willing to shift gears with us when we had to make a change to our initial wedding plans due to COVID. She came up to our now Upstate NY wedding venue for a site visit and helped us to rethink out plan.
I really did not know what to expect for our flower arrangements, but I was STUNNED and in total awe when the room was finished. My husband is still talking about our sweetheart table to this day.
Zara and her team made our flower dreams come true. -

I found and contacted Stems via Instagram for availability back in 2019. They happened to have an elopement package which for our budget. I provided them with an image of something I liked, but asked them to surprise me and have fun!!

Andraya at Stems Brooklyn was our flower genius! She helped us figure out ways to stay in our budget and was awesome to work with the whole time. She took my general ideas and color schemes and made them come to life! Our wedding flowers were beyond gorgeous- whimsical and creative. We got so many compliments on our flowers from all of our guests! I dried all our flowers because I couldn’t stand to see them go to waste. Amazing in every way!
The Stems team made all my wedding dreams come true!! A few weeks later and I'm still swooning over my bouquet :) both Suzanna and Rachel were amazing to work with throughout the whole planning process. I gave them a few pictures and explained my vision and they ran with it and exceeded all of my expectations! I received so many compliments from guests and even my wedding vendors (who see thousands of flowers I'm sure). I would recommend them a million times over! -

Stems was exactly what we needed and wanted - an easy, affordable, flexible florist close to our wedding venue with beautiful arrangements that fit our aesthetic. Working with Zara was a dream. She understood what we wanted better than we did, and she was super flexible about altering our order and working with us to make sure that it was in line with our budget. We ordered bouquets, a garland with loose flowers that we had assembled for the alter, and some pedals for the flower children. She even added some extra loose flowers for the tables that our family friend put together. We really appreciated that flexibility, and understanding of our scrappiness - especially because the search for a wedding florist was a particularly frustrating and stressful point in our wedding planning.
What was most special, though, was that everything was carefully chosen and curated based on what was in season. We loved that we didn't have to do much work or decision making, and everything ended up turning out beautifully. The flowers fit with our venue and overall aesthetic perfectly.
We highly recommend Stems to anyone and we've already ordered from them for other things. We're customers for life (or as long as we live in the area)! -

Completely exceeded any expectations
Stems completely took my breath away on the day of our wedding. From my bouquet, to the wedding structure, to the table-scapes I was stunned by their work. Working with Zara was fantastic from day one. She provided a visual proposal and additional sketches that helped us get on the same page for what we were envisioning. I felt completely comfortable leaving her and the team to be the artists that they are and I appreciate how they strive to be sustainable and environmentally friendly. I cannot sufficiently put into words how much I loved all of their work. -

I would highly recommend hiring Stems to do your wedding flowers. We did the a la carte package for budgets under $5k and the flowers we received were above and beyond my wildest expectations. Zara and her team are the most professional--I later learned our cake was delivered VERY late and they waited until the cake had arrived and the job was done. They created a custom swirled backdrop for our ceremony that was so fanciful and lovely. Every guest raved about how beautiful the flowers were and they held up the entire night. Stems is also environmentally friendly and does't use foam, which is a wonderful plus. I told Stems to really do whatever they wanted and I trusted them completely. It was fun every step of the way. -

I was so happy to have chosen Stems for our floral arrangements. Zara is a natural and she put together a beautiful mood board off of what very little we knew about flowers, color etc. She was easy to work with and although I had a vague image in my head, she listened closely to my likes/dislikes and was able to bring my vision to life. The fact that they were experienced with our venue (The Wythe Hotel) helped as well. The price point was great (compared to some other florists in NYC, which can be outrageous) and it ended up feeling like we got even more than we had asked for! They also helped us coordinate donation of our flowers after the wedding which we were very happy about as well! Highly recommended. -

I came to her with some scraps of an idea ("i like blue" "i like candles" "garlands are cool") -- i didn't have a wedding planner, I didn't have wedding colors, I just had an idea for a vibe -- and from there she created and executed an ambiance that was literally my dream come true. And she did it all accommodating my budget. Stems allows you to name your price and then works to fulfill your vision within that range, knowing where to spend the money and on what. Never wasteful. Always thoughtful. And like I said, they really take the time to understand the basics of what you want and then grow that with you. I get chills thinking about how beautiful their work was at my wedding. My venue had a very medieval feel to it but had fairly bare walls... Zara somehow installed vines to crawl up the walls, bursting from the fireplace, candles everywhere... it really felt like we were transported to another time and place. The bouquets and centerpieces she created were flawless -- just exactly matched the vibe. When I have pics back from the photographer I will add them. If you're looking for someone to hand you a bouquet of white roses and call it a day Stems really isn't for you -- they can do that, but their forte is for the bride who wants to create a multi-dimensional vibe with their florist that goes beyond the flowers themselves. Stems is a part of the family now -- we're going to hire Zara for any event we ever need flowers for. She's amazing to work with, and her work will blow you away. HIRE STEMS!!

Casey Sent on 08/14/2018Wow, what an amazing, professional, communicative, helpful staff. I found Stems Brooklyn through my own research and could not be more impressed with the job they had done. We were married at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in front of 150+ guests. My logistical, incredibly thorough, and most importantly beautiful wife (see photo) planned and organized the majority of the event, but was gracious enough to allow me to pick the florist. Zara was the absolute best vendor we worked with throughout the entire planning process. When we initially met her, her organization, enthusiasm, and care shined throughout the entire meeting. She listened to us intently, provided well thought answers, and made us feel like friends, not clients from our first meeting. My wife was so impressed with her organizational skills and attention to detail she left our first meeting smiling ear to ear. Zara truly listened to us throughout the entire meeting. I had stated I wanted high arrangements to provide depth to the space but wanted to stay as far away from trumpet vases and hydrangeas and the like to avoid a bunch of golf ball looking obelisks around the space. What she showed me was beautiful. What she delivered was breathtaking. While beautiful flowers are important, the most important thing is to ensure you are hiring someone that cares about your day just as you do, and Zara certainly reflected that. We ordered 3 mother corsages, 2 father boutonnieres, 6 bridesmaid bouquets, 6 groomsmen boutonnieres, 1 bridal bouquet, 1 groomsmen boutonniere, cake decor, and table arrangements. It was worth every. single. penny. She even made me a backup boutonniere in case my first one was crush from all the hugs I received! I cannot thank Zara and the team at Stems Brooklyn enough for their dedication to our wedding. And I won't stop thanking my wife for agreeing with me that they should be our florists. THANK YOU STEMS BROOKLYN! THANK YOU ZARA!

Crystal Sent on 04/13/2018I loved my flowers at my wedding! Zara was so sweet! She helped me organize and create my wedding decor! She was flexible and worked with my budget. The flowers are so unique and perfectly put together. My bouquet was so beautiful and I absolutely loved the wrist corsages for all the mothers and grandmothers. Stems prices are reasonable compared to other big florists in Brooklyn. I was able to pick up my flowers and set it up myself (well bridesmaids did it) so it saved me on $ since I was on a tight budget. However, if you have the extra $ it's worth it to let them set it up for you! I highly suggest STEMS Brooklyn for your wedding! -

I had basically no ideas of what I wanted for flowers, so she talked me through decision points and vibes based on my budget and looked at my pinterest, but basically I trusted it would be beautiful, and I was totally right. She also did a great job of dealing with my mom on some last minute requests (lol). I gasped when I saw our venue and how the flowers transformed it. We got married at a museum, and the team worked very quickly in the limited time they had to set up. I totally recommend the Stems team.

They were able to work within my budget and delivered our pieces on time. They really listened to what I wanted, and when my bouquet arrived I was so impressed! It was like they had pulled all the best bits from the inspiration photos I shared with them to make something dark and romantic that totally fit my vibe. I especially loved the flower crown they made for my niece. They were easy to communicate with and I would definitely work with them again!

She got our vision right from the start, and had such a great artistic spin on everything, and a clear love for flowers. She made beautiful flower crowns, incredible bouquets, and even grand floral pieces for our "alter" with florals evoking my southern home state and a mix of incredibly bright, rich hues that I wanted. Absolutely beautiful -- AND an incredibly professional team that arrived early -- my dream! -- on the day of the event. Please hire them.

PROS: 1) I love Stem’s non-traditional style and still follow their gorgeous designs on instagram. 2) Zara was good to work with — she was responsive and professional throughout the process. 3) In the end, Stems did an amazing job on the greenery installation bringing to life my vision to life.
CONS: I was wildly disappointed by the bud vases and statement piece. With the bud vases, I expected far more for the cost. It was literally one flower plus eucalyptus (note Stems charges the cost of the item, plus a 30% markup, plus a delivery fee of several hundred dollars). With the statement piece, it completely missed the mark. We had talked about a cool brass vase with a wild floral design and what I saw when I showed up at my reception was not that.
I would still recommend Stems. However this was the one vendor I was disappointed by. -
