I cannot gush enough about Stem Productions. Steve was instrumental in planning my wedding by walking me through the timeline, making suggestions for a better flow and kindly mixing two songs for the mother-son dance without us asking! He is always responsive and very organized. MC Andre smoothly directed guests' attention by calming them for sentimental parts then hyping them up for awesome moments. Kate attended our photobooth and generously provided prints based on the number of people in the photobooth. The props were also incredible! DJ Wali kept the dancefloor busy all night long and we got multiple compliments from our guests about him being the best wedding DJ due to his skillful mixing and ability to read the vibes. -

Highly, highly recommend STEM Productions for any couple looking for excellent wedding DJ, MC services. Steve was super professional, responsive, throughout our planning process, with very helpful and candid feedback on things to consider.
Highlights:
He crafted an amazing version of our first dance song.
His audio setup for our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception was perfect. The music and speeches came out so clearly and beautifully.
The Photo Booth was also a 10/10
His DJ, Wali, and his MC, Sisi, were fantastic for our Filipino-Chinese wedding. -

We loved working with Stem Productions! The best vendor and choice we made with our wedding. We loved the professionalism and thorough communication throughout the whole wedding planning. We are so glad that we chose Stem Productions for your DJ on our wedding day. Steve is an incredible owner who did a fantastic job of guiding us through the process. We also had Steve as our MC and we are so glad we chose him - he kept the energy up all night and made sure our guests knew what was happening (dances, cake cutting, special exit, etc.)!! The glow sticks really added to the fun everyone had! We loved that we added on the photo booth option and got a scrapbook of all the photos our guests took through the night. We love flipping though it and seeing how much fun everyone had. -

Stem Productions was everything we were hoping for. Steve met with us multiple times to prepare for our big day, and he was extremely communicative throughout the wedding to make sure everything was going the way we wanted it to.
His hosting was fabulous, to the point where our guests were asking about him for their weddings. The DJ did a great job of sticking to our playlist and changing things up to fit the atmosphere.
We were happy with the photobooth as well because they were very proactive in getting photos of all our guests even amongst all the chaos.
Stem was recommended to us by a friend, and I would do the same any day. -

Simply amazing MCs, DJs extremely professional and fun
Steve and his team at Stem Productions did an amazing job walking my wife and I though the entire planning process through the day of the wedding. We used them for MC, DJ, and photo booth but he essentially guided us through every single moment to think through which helped immensely as we had to quickly plan our wedding in 4 months. Steve is extremely professional and held many planning sessions with us, and accomodated our multi language and cultural needs too. During the wedding, I felt at ease the entire day knowing that Steve and his team had everything in control. Would highly recommend him for all your wedding needs! -

Fun, Organized, and Absolutely Worth It!
Steve and his team were amazing! Steve is incredibly organized, responsive, and made the entire planning process so easy and stress-free. The platform he uses is super intuitive and well-organized. Honestly, the hardest part was just choosing our songs! Thanks to his system, even that felt effortless.
On the wedding day, our DJ was fantastic. He played every song we requested and kept the dance floor alive all night. The photobooth was a huge hit with our guests; I don’t think it was empty for a single moment! The attendant was friendly and helpful, making sure everyone had a great time.

The Photo Booth was very affordable and very responsive on when needing to book it.
During the day of the ceremony, the Photo Booth attendant (Leslie) was very professional and very caring of all the guests. He was there to assist the guests from start to finish without leaving the spot. Very impressed. As the reception was rapping up, the bride and groom (us) really didn't have time to join the Photo Booth due to being so busy with other stuff. Leslie waited till the end to make sure we at least had some pictures ourselves of with other guests.
The prints are really high quality and were worth every penny. The fact that we are able to get all the photos also digitally was a big bonus!

We had the absolute best experience working with Stem Productions. From the very beginning, Steve made the planning process feel so easy and stress-free. He helped us map out the flow of the day and made sure to incorporate personal touches that really reflected who we were as a couple. His communication was clear and timely, and the process was incredibly well organized. The DJ was phenomenal. They understood the vibe we were going for and followed our song list very well. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, and so many guests told us it was the most fun they had at a wedding. The photo booth was also a big hit. It added a fun, playful element to the night. Steve and his team were an absolute dream to work with. Not only did they bring the party to life, but they handled everything like stuff I didn’t even know I need help with!
Other than the amazing DJ they had, Steve was able to refer us to our officiant and live harpist (swoon) as well. They took care of sound for our entire wedding from ceremony to finish. And let me tell you about the MC they got for us: Sisi was phenomenal. She navigated the entire evening with charm, humor, and just enough authority to keep the timeline on track without feeling rushed. Honestly, she felt like a part of the family by the end of the night, she was also bilingual, and my families were able to have a blast the entire time!!
The dance floor was PACKED the whole time with guests from 3 to 60 years old, and I’m still (6 months later) hearing from everyone about how amazing the music and atmosphere was. If you’re on the fence about who to hire for your big day, let me save you some time, just book them!!! -

Steve and his team were the absolute best for our wedding! I got compliments on day of for MC improv, DJ mixing, and photobooth service in addition to everyone being in awe of the dancing on the clouds.
But more than that, Steve was truly instrumental in planning the scheduling and planning for my ceremony and reception. Not only sound but also suggestions on sequence, editing of key music pieces, helping me with my vague vision for reception entrance. I could not have done it without him!

Steve, our MC for our special day was the best MC we could’ve asked for. He really knows how to get the crowd going and is able to control the atmosphere of the mood very well. The best DJ!
DJ Wali was a phenomenal DJ. He kept us dancing nonstop by smoothly transitioning each track. He knew what track to play next to keep us going on the dance floor. We loved every moment!

We had the best time at our wedding reception, thanks to STEM. MC Timmy, DJ Wali, and Photo Booth attendant Leslie kept the guests entertained all night long. MC Timmy and DJ Wali catered to all our guests, from speaking some Korean to playing a Baby Shark remix for the kids. Leslie even got up from his dinner early to open the photo booth back up for guests.
Most of all, thank you to Steve, who really made planning the reception a breeze. He was very attentive, organized, and kept us on track with multiple follow-up meetings. He was very involved from beginning to end, even if he could not be there. I hope I can attend more STEM events soon! -

Amazing wedding experience!
Steve did an amazing job MC'ing for our wedding. We live in Texas and our wedding was in Jersey. He was very willing to accommodate us by holding zoom calls and taking our questions over the phone. He's very understanding, professional, and experienced. We also booked the lighting, DJ, plus photo booth package. Dance lighting and uplighting for tall ceilings are a must! The DJ did a great job mixing playlists based on the songs that we liked, and even edited the songs for transitions, timing, other stuff. The Photo Booth was a big hit, Katie managed it very well and made it fun for us. We highly recommend using STEM Productions for your wedding. Thank you Steve! -

Steve and his team were phenomenal during our whole planning process! We booked him because we heard his team DJ at a friend's wedding and knew we had to have him at ours!!
Steve responded quickly to all our emails, kept everything super organized, and made the whole process feel very personalized to us. He even took on extra Zoom meetings with us when we were feeling overwhelmed/confused about wedding planning as a whole.
The actual day of our wedding was very hectic but Steve got us back on track. The DJ was amazing and so skilled, and the photo booth attendant was efficient and kind throughout the night. At the end of the night we got a little book with all the pictures our guests took and it was so nice to look through while waiting for our photographer to finish editing the professional shots from the night.
We have nothing but great things to say about everything!! -

Steve and his team at Stem Productions did an amazing job at our wedding. I would recommend him to anyone planning a wedding as he's extremely well prepared and adaptive to changes. In addition to that, he's very talented with editing the dancing songs to help bring the time down a bit which helps a lot when you have two left feet like I do. Additionally, they were able to incorporate just enough Korean for her side of the family to understand. Also, the Photobooth was AMAZING!

Prepping entertainment for your wedding guests is quite the daunting process.
Steve guides you through the entire process and breaks them all down into simple steps with timelines. You will never get lost working with Steve from STEM Productions.
Timmy, who was our MC, made our ceremony quite the memorable one. Not only that, he was fantastic in hyping up our dormant crowd to bring out the wild party-side out of our guests (and ourselves). We had a blast from beginning to end, and its all thanks to the hype in the crowd built by Timmy our MC and DJ Wali.
If you hire STEM Productions, make sure you get yourself the photo booth. Our guests loved it so much that they would not stop talking about their experience after the wedding. Danny, who was working in front of our booth during our reception was excellent in explaining the steps to our guests. The guests who took part in the experience walked away with copies of their hilarious photos and URL to print out however many copies they wanted in the future.
Overall, I could not say one thing bad about the experience I had working with STEM Productions both during the preparation and during the actual wedding. Thank you STEM Productions for the experience we will never forget. -

We just had our wedding last weekend and Stem Productions helped us coordinate / plan from start to finish. We had the most amazing time and received endless compliments from the guests from the DJing to the whole event. Everyone was saying how it was one of the best weddings they have been to and we could not have been more happy. We didn't have to do anything to plan the wedding as Steve did all that for us. All we had to do was enjoy which is what we did. We also received tons of compliments about the DJ (DJ Wal). He had an excellent taste and great transitioning skills. A perfect day led by a perfect team - you can't get better than Stem!
Steve and the Stem team are SUPERBLY professional, personable, and experienced in weddings small and large. We were fortunate enough to be guests at a wedding emceed by Steve and we were amazed by how seamless the night went and how easy he was to talk to, and it was therefore an easy decision for us to go with Stem Productions for our own larger wedding! He provided plenty of tips in the planning process from music selection to learning the first dance, and he takes time to get to know his clients inside out to provide an expertly curated day to remember. He is meticulous, organized, timely, and puts in 120% to help clients achieve their vision. On the wedding day, he made everyone feel comfortable and welcome from young children to grandparents, and we got nothing but compliments about the DJing/music as well. Stress-free from start to finish!
Planning a wedding is never easy. There are many deadlines, multiple venders to manage, and there is something that always goes wrong. Working with Steve effectively resulted in one less vender to worry about.
What we liked the most about them (besides the music of course) is that they were extremely easy to work with. Their process to manage the timeline was very organized and their music catalog helped to make the planning process surprisingly easy!
On the day of, Steve blended in naturally, was extremely professional, and set the right vibe for each part of the event. They handle the last minute music request without any trouble, plus their photo booth was a huge hit for the guests!
We would highly recommend Steve and his team to anyone that wants to have their best day ever! -

Fantastic, fantastic DJ!!!
Steve and his team were amazing from start to end! He was so organized throughout the entire process. I could not recommend him more. His DJ kept us dancing til the end of the night and his photobooth was absolutely the hit of the wedding! We had people lined up to use that photobooth from beginning to end. Steve himself was a fantastic MC. He was personable, and made every attempt to relate to the Dutch and Korean guests at the wedding (my family is Korean, my husbands family flew in from the Netherlands). He threw in some Dutch phrases and his DJ was able to locate and play an old Dutch song that the crowd absolutely loved! He also always kept us on schedule and notified us when it was time for important things like the cake cutting. The ceremony and cocktail music also went off without a hitch. I cannot recommend Steve and his team enough! -

Working with Stem Productions was seriously one of the best decisions we made for our big day. Steve met with us multiple times leading up to the wedding to help create a ceremony/reception schedule and curate playlists to fit the mood of each event (i.e. guests arriving, cocktail hour, eating, dancing). His website and planning process also made it so easy and stress-free. Everything was exactly how I had imagined it on the day of! We had a Sunday night wedding so we weren’t expecting our guests to stay the whole reception but the music had everyone out on the dance floor up until the end. Even our grandmothers (who told us repeatedly that they weren't going to dance) joined in! After the wedding was long over, so many guests told us how great the music was. It truly was a highlight of the night! I would definitely recommend Stem Productions. -

Steve and his team at STEM Productions were one of the highlights of our wedding! When we began our search for a DJ, he was one of the first vendors we met. And we were in love! From our initial conversations, Steve had an eye for planning and helped ease many of the stresses we knew that we would have in our planning process. He even offered to speak a few Korean phrases for our family that came from overseas!
We booked him for his emcee services, DJ, and photo booth. The level of detail, attention and effort put into every aspect was unmatched. Steve was ready and able to answer every question that we came up with. After every conversation, we just felt further reassured that we made the right choice and that we would be in good hands. He also gave us deadlines to ensure that our planning not only kept moving forward but that we would feel no stress as we got closer to our wedding date. And his extra touches did not go unnoticed by us and our guests. He even incorporated pictures of us into the photo booth!
On the day of the wedding, Steve was present and on top of anything that may have come up. He was communicative without being too intrusive, and he made sure to prioritize us and the vision that we had for our wedding day. We’ve been to a LOT of weddings. It was at a friend’s wedding reception when we noticed something different about the entertainment. We knew we needed Stem Productions for our own wedding. Steve’s thorough and thoughtful consultation calls were very productive and he got to know us personally beyond our taste in music. Amazing Work from Stem Productions
Steve and his team did an amazing job with my wedding. Without him and his team, everyone at the wedding would not have had as amazing of a time as they had. Steve was an absolute gem. He helped us make a timeline and tried to finalize details early on. This helped lower our stress levels as the day got closer. He even assigned us "homework" to make sure things got done on time.
During the wedding, Steve was able to read the crowd well and make decisions based on what was going on. The playlist was perfect, and my guests loved the vibe and energy of the whole wedding.
I would highly recommend Stem Productions. You can't go wrong. I would genuinely be disappointed if I wasn't able to refer Stem Productions to at least one other person. -

Steve Hong and Stem Productions provided absolutely immaculate service as MC and DJ for our wedding. From start to finish, Steve was very thorough getting to know us and gathering details for the Wedding Day. The Stem Productions portal site kept us on track with our schedule with regular reminders and soft deadlines for our wedding tasks (providing music tracks for the DJ, input on visual designs, etc.)
On top of that, my wife and I had a big curve ball in our wedding day when we tested positive for COVID-19 one week beforehand. We needed to completely pivot our plans and make the ceremony and reception socially-distanced and safer for our guests. Stem Products were completely flexible and worked around all of our last minute changes.
Stem Productions worked very well with our venue and made us feel like they were one cohesive team. Not only that, but Steve gave dynamic input to make our reception more optimal based on how the night was playing out. We had several speeches and performances, and all of them were navigated wonderfully.
The team at Stem Productions, and Steve Hong in particular were considerate, thoughtful, and completely professional at all times. We were very lucky to have them as our MC and DJ and they were instrumental in making our wedding day absolutely magical. -

Hiring Steve and Stem Productions was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding reception planning process! Since we had a small restaurant garden reception, we initially thought we could make our own playlist and handle everything on our own, but as things started to pile up and we became overwhelmed, we found Stem Productions and reached out to Steve to talk through what we wanted and how he could help. From the first consultation, we knew Steve was the one we needed to emcee our event — he is thorough, detail oriented, and a great listener. He presented us with a timeline, a checklist, even calendar reminders to make sure we were on track and feeling prepared for our event. He even gave some really good advice on song selections for special segments like garter toss. On the day of the reception, Steve was nothing but calm and professional — he met us just before the grand entrance and put us at ease. Even some of our guests came up to us at the end to comment how smoothly everything went! I’ve definitely been to some weddings where the MC is a little too much or can’t read the crowd well, but with Steve, you do not have to worry at all. Stephen and Stem Productions went above and beyond our expectations. Not only was he our MC, he acted as our Wedding Planner and helped organize all of our messy thoughts. After you choose Stem Productions, there's nothing else you need to worry about. He will figure out all timing, songs, order of events, all while communicating with the other vendors to make sure everything goes smoothly. We even did Paebaek between Cocktail hour and the Grand Entrance, but everything went perfectly. You will not be disappointed. -

Steve was incredible to work with! He’s extremely detail-oriented, which made planning 100% easier for us, and also got us thinking about stuff and logistics we otherwise wouldn’t have known to consider. He was great about hopping on the phone to discuss our vision and to give us much-needed advice/input. He even brought extra sound equipment last minute when he realized our venue’s setup was not ideal without charging us, which speaks to how accommodating he is. He was a great MC throughout the night matching the tone of each segment and keeping the guests engaged and entertained.
His photobooth/prints were personalized to us, which was really cute. We worked with DJ Wali – we didn’t get to speak with him beforehand, but he had people dancing all night. We had so much fun during our reception that we ended up extending the party. My husband and I are very happy to have chosen Stem Productions, and would highly recommend them to anyone! -

We hired stem productions based off of reviews. From the initial consultation to wedding planning, Steve was very organized and thoughtful when it came to giving ideas or opinions. I cannot thank Steve and his team enough for helping us throw an amazing reception. From the beginning of cocktail hour all the way to the end of the reception, Steve delivered poise, professionalism, and kept the party going. Stephen and his team were excellent! They had a wonderful combination of detail-orientedness (Stephen is very comprehensive), customization/tailoring to our preferences, and patience. We needed a lot of resources and support to execute our post-covid reception - We also had a lot we wanted to do with a very short bandwidth to prepare. But this team had everything from the media set up we needed, song selections, and all the meaningful touches we wanted to enjoy and remember our special day. To be straight to the point, Stem was awesome and I have absolutely no complaints or any suggestions for improvement. Steve was the first person my husband and I reached out to and after the call, we decided to go with Steve and his team. To be completely honest, I was kinda nervous at first because we just went with the first person we spoke to and Steve wasn’t selling himself which was good since we didn’t feel pressured or guilty to go with Stem. Now that our special day is over, we can honestly say that we are veryyy happy we went with Stem Production. Steve was professional, calm, easy to talk to, and to work with. My husband and I have been together for ten years and we didn’t care for a wedding so we were completely clueless to the wedding process. Steve helped us plan the wedding and I think that might be why my husband and I weren’t stressed planning the wedding and the process seemed so easy that we felt like we didn’t do anything. Steve sent us a layout of what to expect and how the day will proceed and we just left everything to him. The only thing my husband and I did was pick a few songs for the first dance, father-daughter, mother-son dance, and few more. Based on some of the songs my husband chose, Stem played music that was similar and the guests loved it. My husband’s uncle said he has never seen his brother enjoy music that much and we had guests coming to us complimenting the DJ and the song selections.
For our wedding, we also went with Stem for the photobooth and the guests loved it. The photobooth gives the perfect privacy that guests can be comfortable being fools without being conscious of other guests’ eyes. Our grandpa even enjoyed the photobooth and the next day he enjoyed telling us how he didn’t know his sister in law had a playful side. He said the boxing gloves went on her and she was a different person. Steve asked for a few pictures for the photobooth and it was really nice how the photobooth was personalized to us for our guests. I wish we had pictures of how the screen looked to share but trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
We also asked Steve for lighting about two weeks before the wedding and the lighting made the venue soo beautiful. My husband and I sent Steve a picture of what we wanted and Steve made it happen.
On the day of the wedding, STEM arrived early to set-up and the ceremony, cocktail, and reception went perfectly. My sister in law was nervous about what to do since we didn’t rehearse and Steve along with everyone else just made thing perfect. At the end of the night, my sister in law came to me and said everything was perfect and thanked me for the amazing night. I kinda feel like my husband and I were clueless to the wedding process and we unintentionally left the wedding planning and day to Steve to communicate with whoever he had to on the day of in order to make the day go smoothly... so thank you, thank you, thank you!
Now that the wedding is over, we want another wedding and we get why people can’t wait to have a wedding. The teams (Stem, Motiongraphy, Vicky C5, and Madison Hotel) that worked together to make our day amazing has put us in wedding withdrawal and wanting more!
One last thing to add... our guests thought we spent a lot of time planning our wedding but we really didn’t do much. STEM really made the night amazing!

Steve along with his crew made our wedding so memorable! From day one during the planning process, Steve was so professional and made the entire process so easy. He listened intently to all of our our scatterbrained ideas and requests and offered his professional opinion to make it all work out. Him along with his DJ showed up early to the venue to set up and there were no hiccups with sound or flow of the ceremony. The reception was a blast! I come from a music/audio background so the entertainment/dancing aspect of the night is very important to me. Steve and his DJ did not disappoint! I had multiple, like at least 10 people come to me during the night to tell me how sick the DJ is.
Steve as the MC made sure that we all dances, speeches and other "milestones" were met in a timely order, and made sure that we were always comfortable with the flow of the night. Steve really was the captain of the party and made sure to guide everyone to having a great night. -

Stephen was awesome throughout the process of the planning of our wedding and in delivering the goods. Stephen and Timmy/Tammy provided a wonderful environment and had a full dance floor with family there dancing we had never seen dance in our lifetime. Really beautiful job. Stephen is also an extremely professional and kind person who took extra time to give advice on many other things about the actual wedding process and his tips and advice helped us navigate the process, along with his gentle prodding and multiple checkins video chat/email/texts prior to the wedding day. Also photo booth definitely worth it ✌️

Steve and DJ Wall did an amazing job at our wedding on Labor Day weekend! He worked with us through the whole wedding preparation process including ceremony and reception. He was very attentive and detailed orientated. He was very receptive to our choice of first dance music and worked with us to finalize our wedding songs. DJ Wall's mixes were very fluid and integrated many of the tracks we had requested. A lot of guests came to us and praised to us on how awesome the music was. Everyone got on the dance floor and there was no time for us to sit down at our table as the MC Steve and DJ Wall did a great job in keeping our guests engaged!

Steve and his team at Stem did our wedding at Harvard Club in midtown NY. Steve was super proactive and provided hands-on guidance from early-on and really made our day-of wedding planning super easy. He stayed in steady dialogue for months in advance and provided a detailed spreadsheet to plan the day to the minute that we continued to refine right up to the wedding.
When it came to selecting music tailored to his clients, Steve had a broad range and songs to choose from and will do his best to meet any unique song requests.
Steve included amazing additional services like editing songs to your desired order & length, which worked out amazing for our first dance.
For the day-of Steve seamless covered the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception without missing a beat. As our Emcee, Steve kept the party live from the beginning as the guests entered the reception, until the lights came on to call it night.
Would strongly Stem Productions...super responsive and easy to work with. There were many stressful parts of our wedding planning, but worrying about our DJ & Emcee were not one of them. -

My favorite vendor to work with!!
The title of this review is not a lie! Steve, the head of Stem Productions, was my favorite vendor to work with. He was THE most organized and efficient one of all my vendors. For the most part, I was the one reaching out to my vendors to check up on the status of things, but Steve was always proactive and reached out to us first--which was SUCH a great help for me, with all of the other wedding prep craziness I had to deal with. There are just some people you click with, and my husband and I had great chemistry with Steve.
In terms of the preparation, Steve was so easy to work with, and helped us tremendously in prepping for our wedding. The way he works is so efficient, with spreadsheets that we have access to so we could all keep up with one another. Let me tell you, I created my day-of itinerary based on the google spreadsheet that Steve made for us. It literally had all the day-of events and was the perfect reference for me to use while trying to envision all of the events that would happen that day.
I cannot rave enough about the exceptional service he provided. He was always so easy to reach and addressed every single one of my concerns. I had made NUMEROUS changes to song choices for the ceremony, yet every single time, Steve was on board. Additionally, he provided GREAT input and gave us his honest opinion which we really valued and appreciated. We used Stem Productions for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception--the best decision we could make. In terms of the music and sound, everything was PERFECT. There were no hiccups--Steve (who was also our MC) and DJ JVC worked seamlessly to make everything run smoothly. My father and I did a choreographed dance, in which Steve made the mash-up song for us to dance to. He made a few different versions so that I could select the best one. This was something I always wanted to do with my dad as the father daughter dance, and thanks to Steve, it was a HIT!!
During the reception, he would periodically check up with us to make sure everything was going all right and would give us a heads up of the next series of events we had to prepare for. He was a great MC and really had the entire audience engaged. Steve went above and beyond his role of MC-ing and really made the night perfect for us. Not to mention, he had all of our friends on the dance floor all night!! There are not enough words to express how much we appreciated Stem Productions!!! -
