We can’t speak highly enough of our experience having our wedding reception at Stella Mare’s. Our guests loved everything - particularly the bartender, Francisco! Francisco was amazing and made sure everyone was having a great time. The entire service staff was so attentive and thoughtful and the food was delicious. We rented the Ocean and Citrus Rooms and had a private patio where the bar was setup - it worked perfectly for the size of our micro-wedding (36 guest total). Planning with Jen went super smoothly – she was communicative and great to work with! Highly recommend.

We loved Stella Mare’s as soon as we visited. I can’t imagine our vision of an intimate, romantic dinner in a more perfect setting. Their in-house wedding coordinator, Bonnie, was incredibly helpful, friendly, and flexible. I loved working with her to plan the specifics of our day. The food at Stella Mare’s is by far the best part!

The staff was amazing at Stella Mare's. They really helped me to realize my dreams. The food was fantastic! The decor was lovely! I love the flowers and mountain views. All of my guests were impressed.

We had our wedding reception at Stella Mare's recently, and we are so glad we chose this wonderful restaurant. We had eaten there a few times prior to making our decision, and it never disappointed. The food is top-notch and the service is outstanding. Philippe really runs a great operation, and everything is impeccable. Bonnie, the events manager, was great to work with. We had 45 guests, and this venue made for the most intimate setting -- overlooking a beautiful bird refuge... It was so romantic! Our reception ended up very affordable, and guests are still talking about how great the food was!

It is rare to find a place that excels at both fine dining for romantic dinners or brunches AND does a superb job with events. Stella Mare's hits on all cylinders. Thank you - Philippe, Tomas, Bonnie, and staff!

We will continue to come to Stella Mare's every time we are in town. I can't wait to go there for our anniversary, but hopefully I won't have to wait that long!

I love Stella Mare's.
It is too bad that they do not have their event center anymore. I had about 50 guests and had partial buy out of they restaurant (Main, Ocean, and Citrus dining rooms including their patio).

Our guests LOVED their food, drinks, and their setting. The staffs were great and I enjoyed every single moment of my wedding day.

Although 3 rooms are connected with French doors, I wish they can open all they way. I have placed pins and screws so that they cannot be opened all the way.

Overall, I highly recommend this awesome place if you are having an intimate affair. If not, they are great for reception dinner or day-after brunch.

Stella Mare's is an adorable vintage restaurant with some of the best food I've ever had! Working with Bonnie (the event coordinator) was such a pleasure and she really put my mind at ease. They have a full staff of educated individuals who are more than happy to help and give any information required. We of course had their food at our reception, and even chose from their wine and champagne list. They print their own menus and signage to put outside, but are more than happy to work with the bride to personalize those things if there is a particular logo or any other personal touch you may want.

There are only 2 things that prevent me from giving Stella Mare's a perfect score. There is a rather large fee for the moving of furniture after the initial setup. Also, there was a small hiccup on the day of the event. We understood that our setup time would be restricted by if there was a morning event, however when we checked with them they said we could come in a few hours early to setup. However, when my family and friends went to setup, they were not allowed to do so until the very last minute. Luckily I had a pretty relaxed setup, and the Greenhouse room is so gorgeous on it's own, but my setup team felt very stressed and upset. But other than those two small things, everything was perfect!

This place was amazing! We sat in the greenhouse which was beautiful. The food was very good and so was the service. I would definitely recommend this place.

They were very accommodating and lovely to work with. Things were done efficiently and even thought I was planning the wedding from out of state, I never worried that things wouldn't be done exactly the way we wanted. The setting was lovely and so was the staff. Highly recommend Stella Mare's. You get so much for such a reasonable price!

Stella Mare is a beautiful quaint location is Santa Barbara. The food is fabulous and delicious! The atmosphere relaxed and elegant! Everyone enjoy the service and attention to detail provided by the servers and the staff. We all enjoyed every moment during the reception. The only draw back was coordinating the event and the response time for our reception requests and dealing with finalizing the contract. I would recommend Stella Mare for events and dining.
