We contacted Minister Michael fairly late in our wedding planning, but he was quick to respond and assured us he could do all that we were looking for in the budget range we were hoping for which included a lei exchange and ring blessing. He sure delivered, and more! Our nerves immediately dropped when we saw Minister Michael perform his duties with such ease- it was clear he has done this plenty of times before! He even included a few surprise elements that made our wedding day all the more special, including a just hatched monarch butterfly that we were able to release as now husband and wife, a marriage certificate, koa ring bowl we now use everyday, and script of our ceremony. 30/10 can’t recommend Minister Michael & his team more! If you’re local to Oahu, or visiting to get married, you found your new minister!!!Minister Michael Hawai’i's reply:

The team members we worked with, Michael and Mindy, were so warm and personable. We had an intimate wedding using the Lono Package (SUPER fair price, considering it even includes travel to the venue and a personalized ceremony).
The day went off without a hitch thanks to Minister Michael and team. I've never even attended a wedding as a guest before this, so when Minister Michael called to give me an idea of how the ceremony would run, that really calmed my nerves. He worked seamlessly with our photographer to make sure we got pics of all the highlights (lei exchange, ring exchange, the KISS), and gave us tips and tricks for things that hadn't even occurred to me! All in all, we felt so seen and cared for on our big day.
After the ceremony, we had folks asking us who officiated because he did such a great job! When we renew our vows, we will certainly be coming back for Minister Michael. 10/10, gold stars, highly satisfied- all of the accolades!Minister Michael Hawai’i's reply:

Minister Michael is amazing with communication and has the biggest Aloha I’ve ever seen. He did an amazing job at our wedding and it was a big blessing personally because he also helped marry my auntys wedding back in 2012. One of the very first things we think about when planning a wedding is, "Who is gonna be our officiant?" I felt so overwhelmed in making sure I chose the right one amongst the many that are out there. We wanted the "perfect fit." After reading multiple reviews, I finally stumbled upon Minister Michael.
I messaged him, expecting to not get a response back for at least a few days. But to my surprise he responded the very next day! Right off the bat, I knew communication would never be an issue which lets be honest, that is one of the BIGGEST relief especially when planning a wedding.
Minister Michael was the perfect fit that we were looking for. He has different packages and when we requested a change in anything, he did it right away. I ended up changing the original date, time, and place of our wedding and he was so gracious and professional about it all. He even reserved the whole day just for our wedding because so many changes were made, which we appreciated from the bottom of our hearts.
If you're looking for a wedding officiant who has great communication skills, respects your time, professional and actually cares about making your wedding day everything you could hope for... look no further and BOOK HIM! Perfect Officiant for Our Hawaii Elopement
We had an amazing experience with Minister Michael for our wedding in Hawaii. From the very beginning, he was responsive, professional, and easy to communicate with, which made the whole process stress-free.
On the day of the ceremony, everything went smoothly. He guided us through each step and created a warm, meaningful atmosphere without making it feel overly scripted. We really appreciated how natural and personal the ceremony felt. He thoughtfully prepared some beautiful details for us, including a wooden ring bowl, a shell necklace, and a pearl hair accessory. Everything was very carefully chosen and matched my fiancée’s outfit perfectly, which made the whole ceremony feel even more special and personal.
Highly recommend to any couples planning a wedding or elopement in Hawaii.

Minster Michael was very responsive to my 1st email, enjoyed our conversations thru emails. We live in AZ, Minister Michael fit our wishes for our perfect day in Hawaii.
Minister Michael, very professional as an officiant, detailed, a fine gentleman a pleasure to know, now a friend.
His attention to detail fits who we are. The alter I'll always remember with the surprises he placed creating the perfect spiritual Christian and Hawaiian Culture themes.
Our ceremony was at the Four Seasons, Ko Olina, Hawaii, the wedding and concierge staff, highly recommend for suggest for future Weddings.

Michael and Mindy were a special part of our day. In advance, we connected with Michael for nearly 45 minutes over Zoom to discuss the details, including how he could marry us on the beach and the specifics of his wedding packages. We were traveling from California with our two adult sons (25 and 28), and after 14 years of living by a Golden Hawn/Kurt Russell-inspired mindset, we envisioned a small, quiet family affair.
Michael met us at our beach of choice—Kawela Bay on the North Shore—which was about an hour’s drive from his home in Ko Olina. He delivered a beautiful ceremony that celebrated our love with heartfelt empathy and grace, making it absolute perfection.
When asked by family and friends, my response has been: it was the right time, the right place, and with the right people. I am deeply grateful for Michael and Mindy. They were responsive, affordable, andMinister Michael Hawai’i's reply:

We had a wonderful experience with the ministry service for our wedding ceremony. Communication was excellent, and they were flexible and dependable throughout the entire process, which made everything stress-free for us.
The ceremony was beautiful, and the release of three butterflies was a special and meaningful touch. We’re truly grateful and highly recommend their service.

Choosing minister Michael as our wedding officiant was the best decision we could have made! We have nothing but great news to share and will always cherish how special minister Michael made our day. He was very easy to work with and was excellent with communication. When we inquired about working with him he responded within 30 minutes! Wow! Minister Michael also had so many different options to choose from that it almost seemed too good to be true. He offered great insight and made what could be a daunting task, super easy. He gave us a list of places to check out for the scenery, makeup and floral options, restaurant suggestions for after the wedding, and took such beautiful pictures. He is basically a one stop shop. The wedding flowed seamlessly and he far exceeded our expectations, even giving us gifts at the end to commemorate our day. Trust me, if you're debating on who to go to, he’s your guy!! Perfect Wedding Day
Michael completed our wedding in 2022 down at Turtle Cove and it couldn't have turned out any better! The weather was perfect, the spot Michael picked out was beautiful (plenty of turtles that day), and his wife Mindy assisted with fabulous wedding photos which we still get compliments on to this day. Nice ceremony
Minister Michael was flexible on scheduling our date, he forwarded us the script so we didn’t need to do a rehearsal. It was a quick ceremony but with his flexibility we were able to do our vows at the end.
