Alterations Dream Come True

Roxanne and Stardust are truly MIRACLE WORKERS! Long story short, I was not happy with my wedding dress alterations from a different company and my planner recommended calling Stardust. I was able to speak with Roxanne directly and she had me email her photos of my dress while we were on the phone. She quickly saw the issues and assured me she could fix it. When I went in for my first appointment she again reassured me that they could fix my dress to be exactly as I had dreamed. They ultimately un-did the previous alternations and started back from the beginning. The entire process made me feel 10 million times better. Roxanne was extremely patient with me as we worked through the issues and ultimately I ended up with my dream dress completely exceeding all expectations! I am incredibly thankful for Roxanne and her team for all they did for me!!

The perfect dress for me

I went to Stardust because my sister found her dress there 8 years ago. I was paired with Kathy for my consultant and she was incredible! I tried on several dresses and picked the perfect dress for me on our first visit! Kathy was incredible answering all of my questions, ensuring I was comfortable and happy with my choice.

When it came time to do alterations, Kathy even came down to check on me!

Roxanne is a master of her craft. She leads the alterations team at Stardust and she can work miracles. No matter what comes, no matter the timeframe, Roxanne can make it happen. She made my dress PERFECT for me. She helped me feel confident and beautiful in the dress I chose and was able to alter it to my body perfectly. I hugged her, a lot.

LOVE my dress!

Paik made dress shopping so enjoyable and stress free. I worked at a bridal shop a couple of years ago and knew that the Watters Judith dress was going to be my wedding dress. However, Judith has been discontinued and I was comparing every dress I tried on the Judith. I eventually found Judith's sister, Langdon. I knew immediately that was the dress I would be walking down the aisle in and I never second guessed my decision.

Amazing Experience

I was given Marianne as my stylist and she could not have been a more perfect fit! I am very picky and meticulous when it comes to shopping and she was able to find a dress for me that fits my style and flatters my body. She also took the time to sit with me, get to know about me and my fiance, and sent me a very sweet follow up note in the mail.

Overall, Stardust makes you feel like a million bucks and make you feel like part of the family.

Marine Ball

I went to several different stores to find a formal gown to wear to the Marine Ball in Las Vegas. I was about to give up till I went to Stardust. They assisted me as soon as I walked in the door with big smiles..! Myra is fabulous, she helped me right away,
I had an idea of what kind of dress I was looking for and usually don't go out of my comfort zone but Myra was so amazing she made me feel comfortable and also gave me options that I would have never picked. Because I took a chance and I trusted her opinion. She truly was there to help me in every way. I found the most beautiful dress, and one that I didn't even want to try on.
I am beyond satisfied with my dress!! I Highly recommend this store for anyone looking for dresses for all occasions thank you for helping me find a beautiful dress..

Excited to wear a custom, couture gown on my wedding day!

I shopped only at StarDust for my wedding gown and had a wonderful experience! My stylist really plugged into who I was and my style to reflect who I would be as a bride. All of the staff were extremely knowledgeable and genuinely excited when I made the decision on my gown. Although what I selected and the custom changes that needed to be made were at the top of my budget, my stylist helped me understand why I would ultimately be happier with the gown after doing so. I had somewhat of a difficult fit, but I feel confident that it will make the look worth it! My overall experience proved that StarDust is home to the true professional bridal consultants. Don't bother shopping anywhere else!

Amazing experience

Bride speaking (using husband's profile). The dress was absolutely gorgeous (I love it SO MUCH), comfortable, and of excellent quality. Stardust Celebrations has some of almost every style and I was able to find the dress of my dreams (actually better than I had imagined it to be). It was a struggle to find anything close to what I wanted because most stores carry predominantly lace but Stardust had so many other styles as well. Courtney and I immediately bonded and she was super helpful throughout the process and went above and beyond in her help. She even researched and helped me find an amazing tailor in a different city where I had moved to. Thank you so much Courtney and Stardust!

The entire team at Stardust was AMAZING! Because we live so close to the shop, my mom, sister, and I were there almost every weekend, either looking at bridesmaids dresses with Carson or getting my dress fitted with Shelby. Marianne was the best consultant- she made me feel comfortable, pretty, and like I had some control in the appointment.

Overall Great Experience

I'm not a shopper. I never have and never will be, and if I am I'm normally doing it online. So the thought of going wedding dress shopping and trying on all these expensive gowns was daunting to say the least. Stardust and Marianne (my bridal stylist) did an amazing job in helping me find my gown in a surprisingly short time.

I went into this appointment after going to a smaller boutique and being disappointed in their selection. I knew that Stardust would have a large selection of gowns going into my appointment but I didn't realize how important it was to have someone really there to help you along the way and learn your style. At the other boutique I went to, it was like a mall shopping experience: you go in, pick stuff out, try it on, and think it was just an okay experience. At Stardust, they really get to know you and your style just like they do on Say Yes to the Dress.

I will admit, when I watched Say Yes to the Dress, I thought that all the consulting that they did on the show was just for that reason alone, it was a show. Boy, was I wrong. Marianne started off my appointment in a similar fashion, getting to know me and really trying to understand who I am as a person, who I'm marrying, and what type of style that I envision myself on my wedding day. By doing this, she was able to pull the dresses that I was considering and pulled me a dresses I wasn't considering at all and help me realize that these newer styles that I didn't even recognize were really my gown. Also, another great thing about Marianne is that she did not sugar coat the experience at all. She was brutal and honest about everything, two traits that I really appreciate compared to other boutiques that just give you a yes man to you to get your money.

I had my Say Yes to the Dress moment here and I absolutely love the experience and would highly recommend to any brides out there!

I had the pleasure of working with Cathy at Stardust for my wedding dress appointment. She was wonderful! She pulled so many beautiful dresses that it was hard to choose. When the dress I fell in love with didn’t have an option to ‘open the cups’ I was upset. Cathy wanted to make my dream happen so she actually text the designer to see what we could do. He ended up calling her from China and told her that they could make it work and the exact measurements they would need. Cathy went above and beyond! My dress came in and was beautiful! The alterations team was exceptional. I wanted to make a few changes to my dress and they made it happen. They even hand beaded straps for the dress. I highly recommend Stardust Celebrations for your wedding dress!

The BEST experience you'll have at a Bridal Salon! Everyone we interacted with from Marianne to Robin to Carson to DeeDee were fabulous & made the special shopping day even more memorable!
When we walked in the door, we were greeted immediately by smiling faces & positive personalities! You are given 100% focus by each person who interacts with you & they genuinely want you to leave happy. My appointment did not feel rushed & after narrowing it to 2 dresses, my stylist let me know I could call back whenever I decided. After going to another salon that day, it was noticeable the service at Stardust was unique. I called Stardust & went back to order my dress! They stayed open late for us & celebrated with us with champagne, lots of pictures, & a fun sign! One of the owners even made an appearance at this time & after interacting with her, you can tell why Stardust is as special as it is!
My appointment was with Marianne & I can't even say enough about her! She came recommended to me & I will always recommend her now! Not only was she completely knowledgeable about their inventory, the designers, & my body shape. After asking me all about my fiance & wedding, she told me the dresses I put on my wishlist were already in the fitting room, & then she walked around the store with me-letting me browse the racks to see if anything else caught my eye. She talked through each dress with my guests & I, only after listening to my opinions on it first. She put accessories on me when needed & gave so much information regarding what would look good with each dress & my overall look. After ordering & paying for my dress on a Friday night, I began to second guess the color choice. Leaving Marianne a voicemail on that Sunday morning regarding my concerns, she called me back as soon as the store opened & had me come back into the store that day to try on dresses in both color options. She talked me through both options & when I decided to change the color it was no problem!

StarDust Celebrations is a wonderful wedding boutique! As a bride, I had the JOY of working with Marianne - who is AMAZING!! Just two months before our July wedding, she pulled out all the stops to help find me the perfect wedding dress. One that was even more beautiful than I could have ever dreamed of! She truly cares about her clients, and works hard to find out who you are - so the TRUE YOU shines through. She made me feel so special - I felt like I was on an episode of Girl Meets Gown! Not only was she caring about making me the most beautiful bride possible, she was entertaining and a joy to be around. Her enthusiasm and passion about weddings is evident in all she does. And come to find out, she got married at the church where we did. We loved her so much, she ended up attending our wedding! :)

Stardust Celebrations was wonderful! I walked in after a visit to the bridal boutique in Lewisville feeling kind of frazzled because the saleslady had been so harsh and rude to me and my mom when it became clear I wasn't comfortable with buying a dress RIGHT THEN, but at Stardust, everyone was really sweet and welcoming! I was mentally preparing to deal with more pushy salesladies trying to rush me through as many dresses as possible, but Courtney was super kind and patient, and she took the time to figure out my style and what would make me look and feel my best. She asked a few questions about me, about the style of the ceremony, and really encouraged me and my mom to talk about how we felt about each dress! I didn't feel rushed and I didn't feel pressured to pick a dress immediately, which made the entire dress hunt so much less stressful! We didn't find The Dress on my first visit, so I came back the following week to find that Courtney had already pulled several dresses for me to try, and it just so happened that the first dress that day (the Sottero-Midgley Ettiene) was The Dress! I'm absolutely in love with it and I could not have been happier with how professional and helpful Stardust was! Courtney really took the time to learn what I liked, and she understood how important it was to me that I get the right dress for my wedding day. I would absolutely recommend her and Stardust Celebrations - they did a great job! Thank you, Courtney!!!

This is the sister store of A Curvy Bride where I purchased my wedding dress.
I went to several stores looking for bridesmaid dresses, and on a whim my MOH and I stopped here with like 10 min before they closed.
We quickly browsed the racks and found a similar dress to one I loved at another store.
After my MOH tried on the dress, she loved it, I loved it.. AND I was able to get everyone a 15% discount since I bought my dress at A Curvy Bride!!

The stylist Jesse was so very helpful! My bridal party came the next week and put in their orders.
I even brought my step-daughter in a few weeks later and all the dresses came in together and EARLY!

I highly recommend this dress shop to anyone.

because of Say Yes to the Dress, I have always been in love with Hailey Paige dresses and i did the big no no and tried one on for fun. you guessed right, i fell in love! going to stardust and getting the dress from there has been a dream so far! everyone there on staff has been incredible to work with. my wedding dress consultant was MaryAnn and she was fantastic! she is hilarious and genuine about finding the perfect dress. i was able to tell her my favorite designer and the style that i liked and she pulled only 3 dresses and i found the one. they have been so helpful and caring about this journey so far! if you have the money to spend on a higher priced dress, i would suggest going there to find it! they have a wonderful selection and are great people to work with. it will be well worth your money!

This bridal boutique is absolutely beautiful. I will say the prices are steep, but there's always some on discount & without a doubt the dresses are the best & most gorgeous I've found in all Fort Worth & Dallas. If I had more time to plan my wedding, I would have saved for several dresses here. I tried on dresses with a lady there (so long ago & wish I remembered her name). This was the first place that I went after going to 5 other boutiques that really cared about what I wanted, how I felt, & didn't pressure or guilt me into feeling that I had to buy a dress before I left there. I did end up getting a dress from a designer here that discontinued my dress, which was sent accross the street to A Bridal Closet. However, I had my dress altered at Stardust & I had such a great experience. The ladies reassured me that my decision on my dress was the right one & made me feel like my dress was made for me by the time it was done. Everyone was professional, even when I looked at my daughters dresses there.

Laura and her team are the absolute best!! We basically would not have been married without them. From day one they were very accommodating and carried our hands through the whole process. They do the behind the scenes work so the bride and groom don't have to worry about a thing. Just wait until the day of the wedding and that is when they truly shine. It was the smoothest day ever. All the advice we had been given was "you know don't be disappointed when things go wrong because something will go wrong during the day...not everything will be perfect and how you imagined." Well not if stardust is planning your wedding. For us it was flawless and we couldn't have asked for better service. Thank you Laura!!

I used Stardust Celebrations for alterations and they were AMAZING! If you are looking for a place to alter your dress look no further! I also purchased a veil from this store and it was perfect. My dress was purchased through their sister store (Lulus). I think had I come to Stardust Celebrations first, I would have bought my dress there as well. Alterations were around $250. They even accommodated a very last minute fitting (for an extra $125)- as I had lost quite a bit of weight a few days before the wedding. If you want your dress to fit perfectly, go here. They know their stuff and are not afraid to provide you with the right kind of fashion advice. The bustle on my dress was just perfect!

My first attempt to try on wedding dresses was unfortunately not a fun or organized experience. We made an appointment at Patsy's and I had heard great things but they didn't get to me until an hour after my appointment once the facility was closed, and it was not personal at all.
That being said, my second appointment ever for wedding dresses was at Stardust. THANK GOD. I wished it had been my first, I was treated like a queen, my family was welcomed and encouraged to help. I had Paik and she was wonderful. They provided opinions but did not push anything on you, and they really just go all out to make you feel super special. Provided champagne once I said yes to the dress. I can't say enough good things. And the selection is HUGE, while they also provide bridesmaids dresses, mother of the bride/groom dresses, jewelry, and SO much more. I highly recommend.

Stardust was my first stop when wedding dress shopping and it was my last! In between I visited nearly every single wedding dress store that exists in the DFW metroplex( Neiman Marcus, Lewisville, Ft. Worth, Dallas......so on....) and none of the compared to the service and selection of Stardust! My bridal consultant was Paik and she is very near and dear! She worked with me until i found the dress of my dreams and she was above and beyond for example she pins the dress samples to you instead of using ugly clips..this really lets you see how the dress will look on you. She is amazing and I am so bless to have had her to help me find my dress!

I had the best experience dress shopping at StarDust. Marianne was the most helpful and efficient person I could have ever hoped to have as my consultant and now my stylist. From the first moment we met, she was so helpful in helping me find dresses in the style I was looking for and allowed me and my mother to choose out any and all dresses that I wanted to try on. While in the dressing room, she got me into each dress in an order that would allow me to compare the dresses in the best way possible. She is so personable and is great at reading body language - she knew that I found my dress even before I did! And even with that knowledge, she didn't push me towards any dresses and allowed me to come to that conclusion myself. If you want to have fun finding your dress and find a great stylist, I whole heartedly recommend coming to StarDust and requesting Marriane!

There is no need to go to any other bridal shop for anything! Stardust seriously makes everything so easy. My first appointment I came in after trying on dresses at several other stores. I was exhausted and (probably cranky), but my assistant was so kind and helpful. We tried on a few dresses and I just couldn't make a decision due to brain fatigue. I needed to choose that weekend because my mom was in from out of town and she agreed to come in early on a Sunday so that we could try again. I found the perfect gown and had all of my alterations done in store. It turned out perfectly.

We seriously got everything we needed attire wise from Stardust. I bought all the bridesmaids dresses from them (Watters, every girl wore a different silhouette in the same color). Most of my girls were from out of town and they boxed and shipped them all over the country for me.

The groomsmen's suits were so easy and they provide a discount that makes them cheaper to rent through Stardust than anywhere else we looked into. They were also amazing about making sure the guys all looked sharp and even did last minute size changes when they picked up their suits.

The mother of the groom also bought her dress from Stardust and it was gorgeous.

Just do yourself a favor and check them out. Everyone is friendly (and sometimes sassy) and they want to make your life easy.

This place was AMAZING! They treated me (bride) and my party like queens. It was like I was in an episode of Say yes To The Dress. The store was amazing and like a mini Kleinfelds. We didn't even plan on stopping and they didn't have much curb appeal, but I am beyond happy that we did. They got me in right after I walked in and worked with my short time schedule.

I shopped at Stardust and even though most of their dresses were out of my price range, they did a great job of only showing me dresses in my price range. I found two that I loved and were in my budget and my attendant did a great job of making sure I felt comfortable and beautiful!

Marianne was my bridal consultant, and she was one of the biggest blessings of my wedding planning process. She helped this picky bride find the perfect dress (no small feat!) with no pressure nor gimmicks whatsoever. She took care of me like I was her daughter, and by the end of the wedding planning process, I truly felt like Marianne was part of the family.

Ruth's honesty, experience, and sense of humor made alterations a wonderful experience. She listened to and addressed my concerns and made my dress fit absolutely flawlessly. Ruth even hand-sewed part of my mom's wedding dress into my dress. Ruth transformed my dress from something beautiful to something absolutely unforgettable, and I am forever grateful!

After I had such a wonderful experience with Stardust for my dress, I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for my wedding needs. I used Stardust for my wedding day accessories, bridesmaid dresses, tuxedos, and invitations.

I worked with Paik to buy my dress and with Ruth for alterations. I absolutely LOVED my experience at Stardust! Paik let me browse all of the dresses and did not ever rush or pressure me to do anything!! She was solely concerned with helping me find THE dress and did not care how many dress or how long it took. Stardust was the first place I tried on dresses, so I came back after I tried on at a few different spots. I got down to my favorite two - both at Stardust - and I swear I was in there for an hour trying to pick! When I finally chose she was as excited for me as my family and took care of me through the process of buying it, up to alterations!! Ruth with alterations was also just as amazing!! She knows exactly what she is doing and I LOVE the way my dress fit. I wish I could wear it all the time, it wasn't too tight and I was able to move easily in it - and in 4 1/2 inch heels!!! I highly recommend Stardust to anyone!!! Also - they have so many partners to help with other aspects of your day, and you get a discount for purchasing your dress with them!

Stardust Celebrations is really the place to go first when you are planning a wedding. I had always believed that you should go to people who specialize in one thing and do that one thing well...but at Stardust they really do it ALL well, from choosing the perfect bridal gown with the help of Marianne, having it altered to perfection by Ruth at Altered for the Alter, getting bridesmaid's dresses and mother-of-the bride dress with Courtney, through invitations and tuxedo rentals.

This place was amazing! The entire staff was great to work with especially my consultant Marianne Phillips. She took the time to hear what I was looking for and she picked out the perfect gown!! The owners even came over and introduced themselves. They made the whole experience wonderful with a champagne toast after I said YES to the dress!!!

Marianne was wonderful to work with. She is hilarious, but really knows what she's talking about. She was patient and helpful as I tried on what felt like every dress in the store. After finding the one, she was quick to keep me updated on the status of the order, and once it came in, was so helpful in setting up alterations. Please go see Marianne Stayer Phillips! She has bee such a joy to work with. Because of her I found a gorgeous wedding dress I could afford and the tuxs for the grooms. As a bride who has not been planning her wedding since she was 5, I was very vulnerable when it came to people giving me advise and I took it without doing a ton of research. This is what happened when It came to alterations for my wedding dress. I purchased my dress in New Orleans and had it altered in IRVING, TX. After picking up my dress I was very unhappy and was told that there basically was nothing she could do at this point. Then my friend Renee referred me to Stardust and they immediately wanted to accommodate me. I told them I was getting married in 2 weeks and she assured me it could be finished in time. And it was. It is perfect. Everything that the other seimstress told me couldn’t be done because she was being lazy, they did the exact opposite and educated me on my dress and what needs to be done down to the T. Riley was so so sweet and made me feel so much better about my pretty dress that had been altered very poorly and put my mind at rest until I picked up the dress. It fits absolutely perfect and was done in plenty of time! Thank you ALTERATIONS at STARDUST for helping make my dress to how I pictured it in the first place. Y’all are awesome!

I had searched a couple different stores for my wedding gown and never had great customer service, it's an exciting time so you want people to be excited with you! All of that changed when I met Liz, she was wonderful right off the bat. I am very indecisive, so you can imagine wedding dress shopping. I had my heart set on a Lazaro ball gown that was $3700. I never really pictured myself in a form fitting lace dress until Liz pulled it for me. I was surprised how well it fit and showed off my figure. After that trying on the lace dress, I realized the Lazaro gown was not for me. The best part was my Robert Bullock gown was $1800. Score! Liz really helped pull me out of my comfort zone but trying something different and it worked. I loved my gown, simple and elegant for my beach wedding.

I came back for a fitting and worked with MaryAnn to get a veil. I told her exactly the style I was looking for (Long veil, no frills, just plain) and she had the perfect one. I wanted a dramatic veil for my wedding and she helped find the perfect one. My pictures look gorgeous with it flying in the wind :) Thank you Stardust Celebrations for providing me with that perfect bridal experience. It's really important to feel special when you are shopping for your gown, veil, etc. and they made that a reality.

I would recommend Stardust to any friends/family looking for a wedding dress! Liz was so helpful and found me my absolute perfect dress... it was exactly what I wanted! She also made the experience so fun and easy, nothing like what I thought it would be. The Alterations department has been so nice in working with me on appointments since I live about 3 hours away. The veil and hairpiece I bought were also amazing and so pretty! I cant wait until I can put it all together... its going to be perfect! GO HERE! Its the best :)

I scheduled my appointment with StarDust and went in eager anticipation of experiencing the experience commonly depicted on TV. I was extremely pleased when my expectation was not only met, but surpassed. I had a funny, down to earth, extremely helpful sales associate named Liz. Her sense of humor immediately put myself as well as all 6 of my guests at ease. She asked me what my expectations/desires for my wedding gown were and pulled several dresses that matched my description. She happily lugged all of the heavy dresses into the fitting room and talked me through the entire process. She was extremely respectful of my budget and never picked a dress that was outside of my price range. As a matter of fact, when I requested she pull a particular dress for me, she reminded me of my price range. Unbeknownst to me, my mother had also had her eye on this exact gown! Liz pulled the gown and assisted me into it and knew immediately by my cessation of talking that this was THE GOWN! The great service of StarDust did not stop there. The alteration process was a breeze and everything arrived as ordered, in the appropriate time frame, and was completed way before the estimated completion date despite me getting a "late start" on gown searching! Liz and I have kept in contact and are now even Facebook friends! I did more than purchase a wedding gown from StarDust, I found a friend!

I would highly recommend StarDust to anyone searching for the perfect dress!

We were so pleased with all aspects of our experience with Stardust Celebrations in the assistance in finding the perfect dress and accessories. It was a wonderful experience. Wendy, the sales associate, did a great job helping my daughter find "the dress" and all the accessories. When we wanted to add a component to the dress, the personnel at the store worked with us to add the design features that make it absolutely perfect. It is difficult to express the gratitude we have for Ruth in working with us to get the dress altered and the design work done. Ruth and Riley were just delightful. Our experience could not have been better and our lives have been positively touched by these women.

I truly enjoyed coming to Stardust. Every time I came I was greeted with a smile and felt welcome. Everything is very well organized and professional (unlike some other salons I went to). Melissa was the absolute BEST consultant! She really had a way of figuring out what I wanted and putting it into words even when I couldn't. I did not end up getting my dress here, but only because I found a dress by a designer they did not carry. I came multiple times and was never rushed or pressured into getting a dress which gives them high marks from me. I would absolutely recommend coming here!

I had a wonderful experience finding my dress at Stardust! I worked with Liz who was amazing through the whole process. I was so indecisive, even going back on my decision at one time and thinking I wanted to get a different dress! Liz was so patient with me and accommodated me through the whole process! I ended up falling back in love with the dress I initially bought (it was just commitophobia and nerves I think haha).

They carry some pricey gowns but as long as you know the price point you want and stick to it, the value is good. They carry gowns of all price ranges! No more than most other places.

I also got my wedding invitations and veil and bridal belt from them. Since I bought my dress there I got a discount on all of them! It was a much needed savings! I literally saved several hundred dollars after it was all done! Nina helped me with invitations. Melissa helped me accessorize. All the girls there are great! I have no complaints!

Marianne at Stardust Celebrations was amazing and helped me say yes to the dress! I'm tall and thin with a long torso and strapless dresses don't look great on me. I have a lot of space between my shoulders and boobs, weird I know. Anyways, I had the hardest time finding a dress and no joke went to 5 different bridal salons in San Antonio and had no luck at all. While in Dallas I stopped in and Marianne listened to my needs AND didn't hover while letting me browse. I tried on a beautiful Watters strapless dress which had everything I was looking for in a dress except straps. Marianne is the only consultant out of everyone who ever helped me that said "That's no problem, we'll just order some extra fabric and make a halter". Those words made me the happiest girl ever! We added a halter to the dress and it was absolutely perfect. She's funny, blunt and very honest which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend Marianne and Stardust Celebrations!

Kristen and Devan were our planners for the wedding. Those two did a fantastic job. They coordinated the final details with the vendors and ensured that the day ran smoothly. We did the Twinkle Twinkle package and that was the perfect amount of involvement for us. Kristen and Devan were amazing and we were very happy with the services provided. I did not have to worry about anything on the day of the wedding because they took care of everything!

I traveled to Plano, Texas to find my dream wedding dress. From the moment you walk in Stardust Celebrations, you feel like a celebrity. I was greeted by the Stardust family and welcomed with open arms. Kathy, was the sales girl that listened to exactly what I wanted and brought me a number of dresses to choose from. The first dress, ended up being The One. She helped me accessorize everthing from the earrings, the sash and the veil, all of which I ended up purchasing. At the end of the day, I not only found my dream dress, I found a lasting friendship. I also purchased my invitations and save the dates from their wide selection there. Stardust was the third wedding dress shop I went to. I just wasn't in love with anything I had tried on yet. I met with Liz and told her my vision and she took me immediately over to the dress of my dreams. We tried several other dresses on that day but the Hayley Paige was the one. Stardust is amazing. If you are in the Dallas/Fort Worth area (or even if you're not) you should not go anywhere else! I went dress shopping on a whim with my mom- we had other plans that day and decided to ditch them to dress shop. I called Stardust on a Saturday, and they were able to get me an appointment that afternoon. I had a consulation with Melissa (if you can work with Melissa, she is the absolute best). I had no pictures, no magazines, and no real idea of what I wanted. Melissa, my mom and I walked through the shop and looked at dresses at or below my budget. While pulling dresses, Melissa got a much better sense of my style and what I was looking for. I tried on about 10-15 dresses. There was a particular dress that I wasn't sure if I liked on the hanger, but I was willing to try it on and am so glad I did. As soon as she dropped it over my head and I saw myself in the mirror, I burst into tears. It was perfect. Melissa paired a gorgeous belt with it- it would not have been the same dress without the belt. I was told by many people (and I believe it was sincere) that I had the prettiest wedding gown they had ever seen. I would have never picked that style if not for Melissa and Stardust.
In addition, they invited me to a special veil trunk show where I got my gorgeous veil and hair pins to wear with the gown all the way from Paris. I bought my shoes at Stardust too- ask for the 'tango' shoes they have there. I can't remember the designer, but they are gorgeous and meant to be dance shoes so they are easier to walk on and extremely comfortable.
Kayla in alterations is also amazing. She is extremely meticulous (which you want when getting your dress altered). I recommend Stardust to any other brides as well as the mothers of the bride (they have gorgeous gowns for mothers too).

The staff at Stardust is wonderful to work with! Maryanne helped me narrow down my dress "style" based on what I wanted-- and helped intervene on my behalf when friends and family were trying to steer me in another direction! The dresses are beautiful and the staff is extremely professional without being pushy.

We ordered my dress (which came in early!) and belt. I lost 30 lbs between the time we ordered my dress, and the weeks prior to my wedding. Ruth in the alterations department is amazing! She took 7 inches out of the top of my dress, and it looks as if it just showed up from the designer.

I would recommend Stardust to ANY bride looking for a dress.

I loved working with Liz at Stardust!! She was so fun to be part of the big decision on the dress, she was very in tune with what I was wanting and let me go with her to help pull dresses. I'd been to another salon prior where they had me go sit in the dressing room while they pulled dresses for me. I felt like that left me out of part of the process, so Liz had it just right. Stardust was fantastic at getting the dress and veil in on time, were extremely flexible on alteration appointment and really worked with me to be sure I was 100% happy with the fit of my dress. I highly recommend coming here, first!!!

I went to seven other stores and was having the worst experiance ever. People were rude, wouldn't help us because we did not have an appointment but they were all standing around doing nothing. i just had a baby and I am a size 16 now and the dresses i did like were not in my size, some places i only got to try on one dress. I am still loosing the baby weight so even if i liked the dress i wasnt happy with how i looked in them. needless to say i was very frusterated.

THEN, we went to stardust. MARY ANNE was AMAZING! she was not pushy and she was all about what i wanted. Gave me several ideas and made me feel beautiful (how a girl should feel when trying on wedding gowns) She even paperdolled me in the dresses that werent in my size so i could see exactly how they would look on me. Genious!! She is fantastic at her job!

I actully did not find a dress there that i just loved. So, she recommended me to go to Lulu's in downtown said she is sure i will find something there. And i did, the dress made me cry and i new immediately that was the one. I hate that i do not get to buy a dress from Mary Anne but i will recommend everyone i know to go see her.

I loved my experience with Stardust! Everyone was extremely helpful and attentive. I always felt like a VIP whenever I was there, and even after I had picked out my dress, they arranged for me to meet the designer at his trunk show and have him add his personal touch. OK – I felt the absolute need to post this amazing review bc I ALMOST cancelled my appt w/ Stardust (SD) based on all the bad reviews…I actually made the call to cancel and my asst @ SD (Liz) re-assured me that everything was going to be great and I decided to try it anyways. I dreaded my appt…up until the point that I walked in. After that…I have never had a more pleasant and happy experience! Not one person at Stardust treated me badly or gave me dirty looks (Like reviews said..) Every single person (we shopped in the various departments that they offer for bridesmaids, mother of the brides, tuxedos, wedding glasses, cake servers, garters, etc etc)…every single person was pleasant and helpful and happy to give their opinion and help us find exactly what we wanted. We had a budget…and not ONCE did we feel that we could not find the perfect dress in that store. I am not a sample size…some of the reviews said that they wouldn’t even let you try on dresses if you weren’t a sample size…this couldn’t be further from the truth! I have been to several other bridal shops before SD, and there was one in particular that I thought I would get my dress from…but after my experience here – there is no question that they are the best…the best people, the best dresses, the best everything :) I ended up ordering a dress that I did love…and everyone thought was beautiful on me…however throughout the week I decided it wasn’t “the one”…I called Liz – she figured everything out to cancel the order and I came back in to look. She had pre-pulled things that she thought would be “the one”. …and sure enough…the 2nd dress I tried on (it would have been the first but I was being stubborn on trying on this ridiculously poofy one first haha) …so the 2nd dress I tried on that SHE picked out for me…was ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. It is a Monique Lluillier (SP?) and besides a hem…no alterations will need to be done…it is that perfect…omgosh!! SO – sorry for the long review…but I just wanted the brides out there to know…do not be afraid of all these horrible things that ppl are saying…bc SD made my dress shopping experience unforgettable!!! AND I saw several brides there at the same time as me that were having just as good of a time :) :) :)

I cannot say enough nice things about the team at Stardust. Everyone from Liz in sales to Kayla in Alterations did such a fabulous job. The store has a very wide selection of gorgeous gowns and everything else you could every possibly need. We also ordered our invitations and tux's here and everything was perfect. Stardust Celebrations took care of me and my family like they had known us forever. They see so many brides everyday, but while I was there they made me feel like it was all about me. The sales woman we had was fabulous. She was sweet and very knowledgable about the gowns. It was like she knew exactly what I was looking for. The alterations lady was really great too. My family lives in San Antonio so we had to go up to Dallas to find they dress and go back to pick up the dress and make alterations. She met us on her day off early in the morning, just to make sure my dress was perfect. We also got my hand dyed shoes for the wedding there, my veil and hair piece. Everything was perfect. Wish I could do it all over again. Truly a great experience!

I actually went to LuLu's Bridal for my dress, but I couldn't seem to find them on here. Since they are a sister store to Stardust, I thought I would comment here.

LuLu's is AMAZING. The staff there is BEYOND accommodating and they are ALL nice. Lisa was my consultant and she was the best. She kept my spirits up and kept me laughing when I tried on a dress that didn't look so hot, which was very helpful for me since I was so nervous about it in the first place. It was like I had known her for years and I had just met her 5 minutes ago. I had to rush my dress since I waited so long. It was estimated to come in August (my wedding was in Sept eeek!!) and it came at the end of July... which was great! Ruth was the alterations lady and she was very nice and very easy to work with. I will say if you want to book a Saturday, book in advance. Her weekends fill up FAST!

Overall, my experience at LuLu's was top notch. After spending a whole day shopping for wedding dresses, I couldn't imagine buying my dress anywhere else than LuLu's.

We went to Stardust for my wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses, mother of the bride dress, and alterations. THEY WERE AWESOME! I was so nervous trying to find the perfect dress and Wendy was the most fabulous person to work with. She was hilarious and made my mom, maid of honor, and myself feel so comfortable. She was able to figure out what types of dresses I was looking for and what types looked best on me from the very beginning. I could not have asked for a better sales person to work with. For our bridesmaids dresses, I think the woman we worked with name was Myrna. She was so fabulous. I changed the color of my dress later on, and she was completely able to work with me on fixing it. Most of my girls lived out of town, and she was able to take all their phone calls and questions when they had them. My mom loved the woman she worked with for her dress. The lady made her feel so comfortable and really helped her find a dress that fit her style. We loved working with Kayla in alterations. She was so fun and made our appointments quick and easy. I don't think we were ever in there for longer than 30 minutes each time we met with her. She was even able to work with us on waiting a bit to alter it for the final fitting. Overall we had a great experience with StarDust. I wouldn't have gone anywhere else.

Lulu's was by far my favorite wedding decision when picking what I was going to wear down the isle. The staff there (Sharon, Lisa, Ruth) were just FANTASTIC and 5 stars just doesn't cut it for them. We went to a couple of different bridal shops and were so dissapointed in their customer service. One salon told my mom I could only try on 5 dresses and if there were more I had to make another appointment. Another made us wipe our hands before entering the shop and would only let us bring 1 person to pick out dresses. Lulu's customer service is unmatchable. You really think you are the only bride in the store the way they treat you. They are genuinely happy for you, not pushy, respond to email and voicemails, and are just fun to work with. Ruth was amazing at alterations, especially since I had a lot of changes with my dress. PLEASE PLEASE go to Lulu's if you're looking for your perfect dress. As a side note, we also went to Stardust and their customer service was impressive as well. Please see Marianne. She is wonderful!!!

Lulu's was incredible. Found the absolutely perfect dress, was able to schedule fittings from out of state and they worked with me to get everything done in time. Had the dress cleaned and pressed ready to go days before the ceremony. Definitely recommend them.

I had a great experience with Stardust Celebrations. I worked with Wendy and she was fantastic. They were patient with me -as I came in 3 times before I finally purchased. Then I came in probably another 3 times in the 5 months waiting for my dress to be made to try on the sample to show my family members what I picked out.

The dresses are expensive, but these dresses are handmade. This is not Davids Bridal.

Go to Stardust for the great selection and great service!

I bought my Jim Hjelm gown at Stardust and couldn't have been happier. I worked with Nancy who is the most patient and sweet woman! I spent a good 3 hours there trying on probably 50 dresses and Nancy just patiently helped me try on dress after dress, giving me honest advice about each one. When I finally made my decision, she followed up regularly with me to advise on the status of the dress and to make sure I was happy with it. The store is nicely laid out, spacious, and elegant, and they have a large selection of dresses with a wide price range. Highly recommended!

I bought my bridesmaids' dresses at Stardust and my wedding dress at Lulu's (their sister store). I was VERY happy with the level of service I got from Ashley (Stardust) and Kim (Lulu's). The dresses were beautiful, and they came in earlier than expected!

The only thing I was disappointed in was that when I picked up my wedding dress, it did not have the lace trim it was supposed to have around the bottom. I don't know why it came without it, but the women at Lulu's took care of it and made sure the lace came directly from the designer and was attached to the dress just perfectly.

I also HIGHLY recommmend getting your alterations done through their contracted seamstress - I've forgotten her name, but she has been working on wedding dresses for years and did a flawless job!

You will find no better personal service at any other bridal salon in DFW. The women here make you feel like a princess. Trying on dresses and deciding on my dream gown was an absolute joy thanks to my consultant Marianne. She was amazing throughout the whole process, always knowing exactly what I needed and providing me with everything. I ended up buying a pretty pricey dress, more than I originally budgeted, but it was worth every penny. It's one of the most unique and stunning dresses I have ever seen, and everyone at my wedding told me the same thing! We also got my bridesmaid dresses there, and they were gorgeous! The fabric, color and different silhouettes were so beautiful that everyone at the wedding was saying they were the best bridesmaid dresses they had ever seen. Everything that Stardust had a hand in for my wedding was absolutely wonderful. I recommend this store to ALL newly engaged brides I encounter.

I had heard negative things about Stardust from other brides, so I was hesitant to visit there first. Went to David's Bridal and had an AWFUL experience. Alfred Angelo was fine and so was Brides by Demetrios (we got the BM dresses there). I saw an ad in the paper for Stardust for their sample dress sales. We decided to go. The sales rep was not pushy and let us stay in our price zone. She was quick, honest, and VERY helpful. Once we got down to 2 dresses, we went downstairs and cleared our minds over a glass of wine and some lunch. (BRILLIANT IDEA....WINE at a bridal shop!!!) The decision was made and was celebrated over a glass of champagne while I stood on the block in frontof the mirror. Great memory, and a couture sample dress (reg. priced $3500) for $800.

We had the pleasure of working with Marsha Ballard-French. She was amazing, she really helped us with anything we needed. We had to plan our wedding from Alabama and she was so easy to work with. All we had to do was tell her what we wanted and the budget and she would find it for us. Our wedding was the most beautiful wedding and exactly what we had always dreamed of. The day I went looking for dresses I had 4 appointments. The first appointment was at Stardust and my dressing assistant was Wendy. She was AWESOME! I brought with me a collage of dresses so she could see the type of style I liked. Their store is two stories, definitely the biggest out of the 4. Wendy picked out 5 dresses for me to try on, the second being one I ended up buying. The other stores I went to were nothing compared to Stardust, they were rude and had no idea what they were doing. Wendy has been in this business for a long time so she's fully aware of what she's doing. Highly recommend Stardust.

After searching at several Dallas-area bridal shops, I ended up at StarDust Celebrations. I'd heard great things about them and since I'd had a few bad experiences with the other shops, I wanted to see why they were different.

First impressions with Marianne were lovely. She's hilarious and was incredibly fun to work with. She really listened when I described the type of dress that I was looking for: material, cut, fit, "look", etc. Some brides end up in dresses that are a total 180 from what they think they want, but I was not one of those. I did try on several that were not at all close to my ideal dress, but Marianne found the perfect one just prior to StarDust's Watters fashion show this past April. It was absolutely gorgeous and I was so in love with it (still am!). It was a tad over budget, but since "I said yes to the dress" (complete with champagne!) on the night of the fashion show, I received 10% off.

Everyone that I've worked with at StarDust has been so lovely, from Marianne to Kayla in Alterations to the front desk staff and even Mr. French. I highly recommend this vendor and will happily pass their name on to any of my friends getting married in the future!

I think I tried on over 30 dresses before going to Stardust! Upon arriving at Stardust, I just knew my dress was going to be there! They had my favorite designer that I had been stalking (Lazaro) and that's pretty much where I stayed. Marianne helped me find my GORGEOUS dress and she also treated me, my mom, and best friend great! She made us all feel comfortable and we felt like she was being honest with us about her thoughts/opinions. The only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars is because of the size of dress that was ordered for me.....I had one measurement that was throwing me into the larger size and the measurement was doing so by HALF an inch....needless to say, I had to pay for this in alterations. I just wish they would've ordered me the dress in the other size so we wouldn't have had to pay SO much for alterations, but regardless....the alterations department made my dress fit me to a "T!" My mother also got her MOB dress here. This was a GREAT experience, and I'd definitely go back if we ever choose to do a vow renewal in the future! :)

I loved my experience at Stardust. Maryann was very helpful and super funny! The only complaint I have is how long it took my dress to arrive. I purchased the gown in January. Originally I was told it would arrive and be ready for alterations NO LATER than the first week of May. Unfortunately, my gown didn't actually make it until the end of June. Which was cutting it pretty close with alterations for my August 6 wedding. Other than that everything was great. I loved my dress! I wish I could wear it everyday!

My dress was perfect, the price was okay... (a little above the original budget..), Wendy (my consultant) was awesome, and Kayla in alterations was amazing! The only reason I gave them a lower score on professionalism was because of a consultant (I think her name is Mary Alice?) who was a giant a-hole. I wanted to buy flats for the reception and she was asked by the front desk to help me. She argued with me about wearing heels to the ceremony and flats to the reception. She mocked me to Kayla when she went to "tattle" on me for wanting flats. She was an overall nightmare to work with and if you book an appointment at Stardust ask for Wendy.

I purchases my second, yes second and FINAL, wedding dress from Stardust. I worked with Wendy and Marsha. I had fallen in love with a dress from the Bliss line. We rushed the order. The dress came in a week later than it was estimated to come in. Wendy worked with me and returned all my calls when I was panicking about my dress. She made sure that I worked with Kayla to get my alterations in time for my bridal portraits even though the dress came in late. Marsha talked to the wedding dress designer and got my rush fee back since it was late too! Wendy, Kayla, and Marsha are all WONDERFUL! My dress was beautiful at my wedding and I owe it to Stardust!

I had a wonderful experience at Stardust! The service was truly top notch. When I made the final decision on my dress, they brought out Champagne and we toasted. They also turned on the bridal march and I got to come out holding a bouquet of flowers. Very fun! My consultant, Melissa, was very helpful and even gave me her cell number and called me after hours several times to give me updates on when the dress would be in and to inform me of upcoming sales. I will say that I definitely could have got my dress a lot cheaper by going elsewhere, but it was worth it for me to pay a little more for the high quality of service. With the purchase of the dress you also received an hour of consultation with a wedding planner (which I did not use), and 2 free pressings. Alterations and accessories cost an arm and a leg, so I definitely went elsewhere for the purchase of my veil, shoes etc. Overall a great experience! My dress arrived timely (ahead of schedule) with no problems at all, staff was very helpful, and the salon had a huge selection of beautiful dresses!

The main reason that I used Stardust was because the designer of the dress I wanted was having a trunk sale and I wanted to save 15%. Going in I knew exactly what I wanted, so I was a pretty easy customer. The business is very nice and well kept. I also got my bridesmaid dresses there so the girls could save 15%. They did a very good job altering my dress, which was almost a disaster because I every undergarment showed through it. In the end I was very pleased and the dress fit like a glove!

I had such a great experience with Stardust. They were very friendly every time we went down there, the selection is huge, and the alterations were fabulous.

Let's face it, finding the dress can be the most incredible day of your wedding planning and at the same time, the hardest.

Living in Austin, but planning a wedding in Dallas, I needed to find my wedding dress in ONE DAY! I wanted my mother to be able to join me in the hunt as well as my future mother-in-law. We created a timeline and a game plan.

Never having tried on a wedding dress, I thought going into the ordeal that I would've been a pro due to the countless hours of viewing "Say Yes to the Dress" on TLC. NOPE. All that did was make me love EVERY style of dress in every store. I wanted to try everything on and my A.D.D. was in high gear. I couldn't concentrate on one type of dress to even begin narrowing the choices down.

Then, we went to Stardust and met with Wendy. I had it in my head that I would find my dress at a cute boutique tucked away somewhere, so I was a little apprehensive at first to try out such a large store in a suburb. However, Wendy recognized the scatter-brained look on my face and helped calm me down. We started pulling dresses. I then showed her a picture of a dress I found on Pinterest, which was a style I hadn't tried quite yet. Turns out, thanks to their HUGE inventory, they had the actual dress! After putting it on the first time, I didn't want to take it off. She helped me realize that I was standing in my wedding dress!

Once I had my "yes" moment and I cried, mom cried, and we all hugged, they gave us champagne and allowed us to relish in the moment. I never felt rushed to get out of the store once we had made our selection.

Tailoring and fittings also became a problem (because I reside in ATX). However, Stardust was very organized and was able to get me in on Saturdays when I would be in town.

I also got my bridesmaids dresses and veil at LuLu's (their sister store) in Dallas. LuLu's is also a phenomenal experience as a bride! Prices are a little lower than at Stardust, but the customer service is just as wonderful!
