My experience with Stand Tall Bakeshop was awesome. Luke was so flexible with our cake tasting, when we had to postpone our wedding, and was just overall very flexible and helpful with every step of the process. His cakes are sweet, but not too sweet and the frosting is to die for. I would definitely choose Luke for you cake needs! -

Luke is seriously the easiest, and best wedding vendor of mine that I had to work with. First of all, his site is easy to understand and there are tons of options for your cake. Second, whatever you have in your brain, he can probably do it. We asked him for a custom groom's cake and it brought it to life easily. Truly would not recommend a wedding cake/dessert vendor more than StandTall. Oh, and of course the cake is to die for! -

Just the best!
From tasting, to postponing, to finally having the wedding, Luke was nothing short of amazing. We fell in love with his flavors and buttercream at our in-home tasting and booked almost immediately. In early 2020, we postponed the wedding and he made his part of this process stress free. We even had him make a little cake for our original wedding date! When it finally came time for the wedding, he helped us create a stunning dessert display with 4 different cakes. We continuously receive compliments about how great our cakes looked and tasted. Looking forward to my next opportunity to order from Stand Tall! -

I am so thankful I chose Luke as my baker for my wedding day!! The cake was perfect. I got so many compliments on how beautiful the cake was and omg the taste of the cake. It was delicious!! When Luke sketches up the cake, it’s literally what you will get. Highly recommend Standtall!!!! -

I had the BEST experience working with Luke from Stand Tall Bakeshop for my wedding cake. He was so responsive, professional, talented, the end result far exceeded my expectations. We had 3 different cake flavors that were all exotic and different and everyone commented how good the cake was, a few guests thought the cake was fake because it was so beautiful. I cannot say enough good things, with all of the stress of wedding planning this was one vendor I did not have to worry about at all. -

Above and Beyond
Luke was the best vendor throughout our whole wedding process. He was extremely responsive, professional, and talented. We got so many compliments on this wedding cake. It was everything I invisioned and more. The flowers he picked were stunning. We loved that we got to sample many flavors to help us get a good idea of what we wanted. I cannot be happier with the flavors, quality and beauty of this cake. He even offered gluten-free for my top layer so that I could enjoy my own cake since I am gluten sensitive. Phenomenal! Luke was incredible.
From making the extra drive out to Rose Hill to deliver a cake box to helping create the perfect main & Groom's cakes!
Professional, creative, flexible and such a joy to work with. I can't imagine a more perfect set of cakes for our day and in the middle of a pandemic to boot!
I would 100% recommend Luke, the lemon raspberry cake & the chocolate peanut butter cake to anyone planning a wedding....or just planning for cake! -

Wedding cakes
Luke made a two tier cake for our wedding as well as a sheet cake and a grooms cake. They were all SO tasty and such a hit of the night. I told Luke an idea I had for the grooms cake and he blew the final product out of the water! Quality vs the price, absolutely astounding. Do not book with anyone else you will be blown away by Stand Tall. -

Perfectly amazing
I never imagined a cake more perfect than what Luke gave us. Our theme was “vintage/Halloween.” It was a two-tier cake with chocolate & espresso. His cakes are so beautiful. And my favorite part is that his frosting doesn’t over-power the flavor of the cake! We’ve almost finished our wedding cake, so we’re going to have to order more for our anniversary 😂😋 his sample box had us wanting to order more. I’ll only order cakes from stand tall from now on. No complaints whatsoever. Absolutely perfect. -

Best cake in Wichita
Luke was an absolute delight to have as my wedding cake baker. He was quick to respond, detail oriented and super easy to work with. Not only was he a super nice individual but his cakes were out of this world! He provides cake tasting boxes which I must say is clever and allowed us to pick exactly what we wanted from our own home. I can't even recommend a flavor because they were ALL so yummy! I even had guests text me after the wedding asking who made the cake because they loved it that much! I would recommend Stand Tall Bakeshop to anyone looking for a wedding cake! I would also recommend having leftover cake so you can eat it the whole next week! :) Thank you! We look forward to ordering an anniversary cake! -

Luke was amazing throughout the whole process! I told him I was looking for a Geode cake and he hadn’t done one before so we went back and forth with sketches and ideas a couple times before we settled on something. He also was reasonable in helping me stay within my budget. When the big day came, he was in and out in a flash setting it up. The cake turned out so beautifully, I am still receiving compliments not only on how it looked but also how good it tasted! Finally, when we got back home from our wedding, there was a handwritten letter with the sketch of our cake from Luke wishing us his best 💜 Stand Tall bake shop is seriously the best possible choice. -

Luke Peter was such a pleasure to work with for my wedding cakes! He made 4 different cakes for me and they were delicious and beautiful! He was extremely professional on every level and was quick to respond to my last minute changes!! I would HIGHLY recommend (mainly because of taste) but they are beautiful as well!! We had orange poppy seed w/ vanilla bean frosting for our cake and many other flavors for the others!

Stand Tall absolutely stunned us. Luke replied to emails quickly, had reasonable pricing, and was overall our easiest wedding vendor to work with, hands down. When our day came, our cake was 10 times more beautiful than we’d envisioned, and it tasted amazing, too! My mom got compliments on our cake for days when she took our leftovers to work with her. If you want more of our two cents, orange poppy is his most delicious flavor. He is already popular and seems to be getting more popular by the day, so seriously, get him booked ASAP! We would choose him again for our cake in a heartbeat. -

Where do I begin? This journey started while I was going with another bakery who I just didn’t feel way right. When another cake for my bachelorette party fell through I found Stand Tall. Unfortunately he was too booked to make my bachelorette cake BUT I was so impressed by his talent that I HAD TO go with him instead of the other bakery I wasn’t feeling right about. Not only was the cake AMAZING, but his professionalism and artistry was beyond expectations. The Thank You note that was sent afterwards with the hand drawn sketch of our wedding cake was the cherry on top. I would recommend for your wedding, baby shower, birthday or if you’re just craving a tasty cake! -

Luke was amazing to work with!! I highly recommend doing a few tasting boxes. It would be worth it because all his cakes are delicious and it is hard to choose the flavors! The outcome of the wedding cake and the grooms cake decoration blew me away, it was perfect!! I couldn’t of asked for a better cake to celebrate my big day!! -

Luke is great to work with! He's helpful and flexible. All the cakes are delicious with perfect amount sweet, and icing/cake ratio! And he delivers tasting boxes to your house! You can try a variety of cakes/icing combos from the comfort of your home! All around a wonderful experience and very affordable! I highly recommend! -

We ordered a 3 tier cake and a 1/4 sheet cake and were easily able to serve 140 people and had plenty left over! -

I'm going to be honest, to me, the wedding cake is far more important than the catering. I'm a sweets guy, I come from a family of individuals who love sweets, so when looking for a wedding cake for our wedding this was a very important decision. Stand Tall Bakeshop knocked it out of the park in every way I could think of. The website is incredibly intuitive to use and very well designed, the ordering process was smooth, meeting with them was easy and the experience was incredibly fun. The tasting box was a great experience and I much preferred it to a tasting at the company because we were able to include our friends, family, and roommates and get multiple opinions on what flavors we wanted. We gave the owner freedom to design the wedding cake based on a few requests from us, mainly color and flavor, and it was absolutely beautiful, and more importantly delicious. We got a wedding cake, a grooms cake, multiple sheet cakes, and brownies and it was incredibly affordable and everything was amazing. My favorite is the brownies by far and I could not recommend them enough, they were the first thing to run out at the wedding (before we even served dinner) and I heard rave reviews from everyone who had one. This is a perfect wedding cake that will be better than more expensive options, no question. I would highly recommend Stand Tall Bakeshop to anyone looking for sweets for a wedding or any other occasion. -

Standtall is by far one of the best cakes I have had. My husband and I did the sample boxes to decide on a flavor and I highly recommend doing that. The buttercream is so good and not overly sweet like other places. He gave me sample sketches based on what I wanted and it helped me decide the design of my cake. And it was my dream cake! The color, design, and flower placement was perfect. I absolutely loved it! -

We had lots of cake ideas on Pinterest for our wedding and we wanted to be able to take our favorites and merge them together. Stand Tall Bakeshop was very welcoming, helpful, and gave us lots of feedback and other great ideas to make it "like others" but also "our own." We appreciate the great communication and the beautiful cake design that was put in place to make the perfect cake. And while cakes on Pinterest are beautiful, there is nothing like having your own special touches! -
