Stage Right Lighting was amazing to work with. Sydney and her team made it simple for us to have the most elegant and beautiful wedding humanly possibly. They offered for us to come to the warehouse and look at some examples, but due to busy work schedules, we were unable to make that happen. It ended up not mattering in the long run because the photos they shared gave us the perfect vision of what they could accomplish. The result was stunning and we are so grateful for this team! I worked with Kacee and Sydney for my wedding and they truly went above and beyond for our wedding and brought my vision to life. They also really caught onto the “vibe” I was going for and made great suggestions for additions I didn’t even know were possible, like a custom designed gobo light shining onto the pool making the perfect center piece and focal point at our venue! I didn't realize how much it would take to decorate the barn with draperies and lighting -- wow! Stage Right showed up on time and worked with focus all day and as a team, transforming the space. They did show in the most discrete way possible both in setup and take-down, not interfering a bit with other wedding prep going on. If they didn't have a big truck, you'd barely notice they were there they are so smooth!

Wedding Wow!!
Staged Right lighting added the much needed wow factor to our wedding! Our October wedding and reception was held at a hotel in the ballrooms. The ballroom divider had to be pulled to separate the ceremony room from the reception room. I however didn’t want the ugly wall divider to be visible in our ceremony; the white drapery along with romantic uplighting provided by Staged Right did just the trick and gave the elegant aesthetic we were looking for. It truly looked like a fairytale!!
When last minute changes to the room layout came about during the week of the wedding, the Staged Right team adjusted to flip the room and pull the room divider draping down with no issue and minimal additional charge because we now needed to utilize the full ballroom for our reception. Our reception room with changing uplighting around the perimeter of the entire ballroom was beautiful and changed with the mood throughout the evening. As a finishing touch, our wedding Gobo sign with our names and wedding date provided by Staged Right was the perfect touch to feature behind our sweetheart table! For the professionalism, pricing, and day of execution, Staged Right was the perfect choice for us. I couldn’t recommend them more! Also, we received a copy of our Gobo sign as an ornament to add to our Christmas tree our first Christmas together married. Such a thoughtful touch!

Stage Right Lighting turned our church hall into an absolute fairytale! They truly made our vision come into light and then some! We are blown away with the incredible lighting provided by Stage Right Lighting. You took an already beautiful sailcloth tent and made it magical! SRL was incredibly easy and straightforward to work with. They created the disco installation of my dreams and I literally did not even think about them once (respectfully). Could not be more pleased with design and result
We hired SRL for our daughters October 28th wedding at the Hermitage Museum and Gardens in Norfolk, Va. The ceremony was held at 4:30 in the East Garden and the reception on the lawn under a clear tent. While the Hermitage is a natural beauty there are very few external lights to play up that beauty at night. SRL along with our awesome wedding planner helped us design our idea of perfection. Stage Right provided beautiful draping in a large tree running from high branches to the ground serving as backdrop for the ceremony. Draping throughout the tent and behind the sweetheart table was generous and beautiful. The lighting design included colored landscape lighting around the museum illuminating the architectural features of the building and grounds, up-lighting and beautiful chandeliers inside the tent, pin spots to accent centerpieces on all the tables (yes you need those), a generous amount of café lighting over the perimeter of the bar area that was hung in such a way that it drew your eye to the big beautiful magnolia tree that canopied the bar. Additional pendent lights of various shapes and sizes were hung in the magnolia tree to add more interest and light. And then they made my daughters dream come true – she wanted a chandelier to float over the dance floor – what did we get? A beautiful chandelier matching those in the tent suspended by a steel frame covered in deep green fabric so that it blended in with the garden scenery. And their pricing? Thousands less than the competition. Highly highly recommend.

From our initial meeting where I shared my vision to turn a drab event room into a late night club to setup and breakdown, SRL was amazing. They designed the event space of my dreams complete with pipe and drape, disco balls, lighting, and a custom light up sign. They were kind, professional, and responsive the whole way through. In addition to getting married and sharing in the joy with all of our family and friends, we had three other top things that were most important for our wedding - Booze, Music, and LIGHTING. I am a huge believer that the total vibe of a wedding(or any event for that matter!) can be completely altered by the lighting, and Stage Right only proved that on our wedding night! We had an outdoor tent at the Hermitage, and they made my entire vision come true.
The lights were perfectly done exactly as I had asked - and then some! They draped string lights along the waterfront and throughout the venue and tent. But on top of that they had fantastic colored lights that strobbed and changed along with the music, making the second half of our wedding truly feel and be like the rager of a party we always wanted! The most perfect team to work with!
Stage Right Lighting was the perfect addition to my wedding day that I didn't know I needed when I first started the planning process. Due to COVID, my wedding had to be moved outside under a tent to be able to accommodate our guest list. Because of that, I needed to hire a team to decorate the tent for me, so I reached out to SRL and was put into contact with Kacee Atkinson. Kacee is literally the best person that could have came into my life during wedding planning. I talked to her every day the month of May and she was also so happy and excited to plan! I had a certain vision for the tent and showed her what I was thinking and she was going to be able to make it come to life. I was so excited for the tent and the wedding after we planned everything. However, the week of the wedding we got some bad news about the weather the day of our wedding. We ultimately had to move the whole wedding inside of the venue 3 days before. I was freaking out because I had a certain vision on how my wedding was going to look outside and I wasn't sure if it was possible to make it look perfect inside. I was so upset but Kacee, thankfully, proved me wrong and we spent hours (yet again) talking about how to make it look perfect. She was my saving grace and I am so thankful for her because she truly made my vision come to life! Kacee and the SRL team did the most AMAZING job the day of the wedding. The draping, decorations and lighting were absolutely beautiful. My guests (and my husband and I) were in awe with what they did! I tell my friends and family, I think our original plans changes because we NEEDED this team to be apart of our big day. They are simply the best and are great at what they do. Drapery and Chandelier
We used SRL for drapery and a chandelier above our dance floor for our wedding, and they did an amazing job! So many people want that rustic barn venue, but we had a ballroom for our reception. SRL helped to transform that space into something more special with their handiwork, and I would absolutely recommend them to those brides wanting to give a basic space a little more pop!

Beautiful Lighting!
Stage Right Lighting really transformed the reception space for my wedding! I’m so glad I decided to go with the uplighting package. I was able to choose what color I wanted for different moments, and the color changing lights during dancing was so fun! I would definitely recommend Stage Right Lighting for your event!

The draping and lighting looked amazing at Marina Shores, both inside and out! Thank you so much, and a HUGE shout out to Thomas who was in charge of lighting through out the evening! From my first phone to our last meeting the day before the wedding, Kacee and Courtney were on top of everything for my daughter's wedding. We got married this past November and used Stage Righting for our tent draping and lighting! We were so impressed with the quality of product they used and how gorgeous they made the tent look!! My husband requested last minute hanging string lights from Stage Right Lighting for our wedding to give to me as a surprise gift. When I saw them, it brought tears to my eyes. It was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The lighting made a huge impact transforming the ambiance. The Staff with SRL was soooooo awesome! They were thorough in making sure we were happy with colors displayed and gobo projections. Our only issue was the memorial table did not have a pin light placed on it as requested but due to having to rearrange items in the reception hall last minute it wasn't much any ones fault. Because thing happen like that. Everything was beautiful.

Phenomenal experience! Completely transformed my tent exactly as requested! I wanted a more romantic feel with lower hanging chandeliers and amber/ candlelight LED perimeter lights. We had our dance floor under the trees outside of the tent! The hung string lights in the trees and can uplighting at the base of the trees (in amber) to extend the romantic feel to the dance floor! They created the exact atmosphere I requested! I highly recommend them! Hands Down!! You will not be disappointed!!!

We decided a month before our wedding to get drapery and lighting to add to the reception room. It was a great decision! After seeing a previous event Stage Right Lighting did at the same venue, we were sold! They did an amazing job with the drapery and lighting at our wedding and it really added the room. Courtney was an absolute gem to work with and she helped so much with planning and executing the lighting style that I had envisioned. The string lights hanging from the balcony at our outdoor reception were so gorgeous and the column uplighting and landscaping accents really made it feel cozy and comfortable. I used Stage Right Lighting as my lighting vendor. The staff came to our final walk through meeting very knowledgeable with suggestions that fit perfect to make the night a success. I was pleased with their overall experience because as a bride, I knew what I wanted, but I was not as familiar with all the technicalities of lighting. They filled in the perfect settings and pins at points that set the stage in the right spots! I found them on Wedding Wire. And my wedding planner had received their name from a professional recommendation. Just as a result of their professionalism and finished product adding those "just right" touches to our ceremony and reception, I would recommend this company without any reservations.

We hired stage right for draping and cafe lighting to add to our venue ( the woman's club of Portsmouth) and it was the most perfect touches to make the venue more "us" it was a dream vision of mine and they brought it to life. I truly believe lighting is something that most first-ever brides take for granted - after one visit to Stage Right Lighting's fantastic studio, I was sold. SRL does an excellent job of showcasing and explaining how the right lighting highlights your venue, sets the right mood, and drastically improves the pictures of your wedding day. They are equipped with wireless lights that don't distract from the decor of the venue - and they absolutely bring the space to life. We had uplighting that opened up the room, pin spots that highlighted each floral arrangement, and band lighting that made everyone want to dance. After all the detail planning, the right lighting is crucial to bring it all together - I highly recommend choosing SRL for your special event.

Where do I even begin to start to say how much I LOVE these people? Courtney and Jeramie....the greatest people I've ever met.
When my wedding was fast approaching...so was Hurricane Matthew. My entire year of planning went down the tubes...and I had to flip my beautiful outdoor-estate wedding to an indoor-museum wedding...in a different city. Jeramie and Courtney had like 12 other weddings that very same weekend. (which the hurricane effected all of them...not just mine). 4 days before my wedding they met me at my new venue and dealt with me as I tried to formulate a whole new plan through tears. They both made me so calm and have faith that it will still all be beautiful.
5 AM on my wedding day came...and I was up (of course) and saw that Jeramie was off to MOCA to start setting up for my wedding...even though almost all of Virginia Beach didn't have power...and so many places were flooded. Stage Right went ABOVE AND BEYOND any expectations I could have ever had for my wedding. I am forever thankful for Courtney, Jeramie and their entire crew. Look no where else for your lighting needs, they can seriously do...everything.

They were all great to work with, from start to finish! Any question we had it was answered almost immediately and we couldn't have been in better hands for our wedding day! The lighting was wireless for the most part so you didn't have any problems with having to had pesky wires or tripping over anything, they transformed the Chrysler Musuem into something even more magical than we expected and it was beyond beautiful. We also love the little gift of our Gobo being turned into an ornament keepsake!

As every brides does, I planned and prepared for hopefully a beautiful wedding. I addressed every vending aspect except the lighting. I thought to myself, what are a few lights?? I doubted they would make a difference in the big scheme of things. As the date became closer, I decided to check into “lighting” just to see what it entailed.
Caroline at Stage Right had the most fabulous ideas to highlight our evening! We added a few ceiling pin-lights. These tiny beams of light shown on every table’s centerpiece and creating a look as if the flowers were lit from inside! The beauty they added to each table was astonishing! Caroline suggested up-lights for the walls. Oh my! Again, what an amazing difference that added! A warm romantic glow welcomed guests as they entered our reception. A total transformation to an already lovely room, but now it was an AMAZING room!
Let me be the first one to say that adding the lighting made a HUGE difference in our presentation! A total transformation with just lights!! WOW! Even our professional photos looked more awesome with this lighting addition. I can say without a doubt, that with all the planning a bride does, the difference a few lights can make is INCREDABLE … I would have been terribly disappointed in myself had I not added Stage Right to our Vendor list!! They were not only incredibly imaginative, creative, but professional, courteous and super friendly. I will recommend them again and again – as they were the PERFECT “finishing touch” in making our magical evening! What a difference a few lights make!! We had a fabulous wedding with UNFORGETTABLE lighting!!

Our reception was in an outdoor venue with a tent that I was determined to glam up. Thanks to an elegant grand chandelier and beautiful lighting, this was accomplished! I arrived at my reception and thought to myself "this is even more beautiful than I had imagined!" Pin spots made my cake table, sweetheart table, and centerpieces really stand out. The up-lighting really reflected the elegant, romantic mood of the evening. I also highly recommend the dance floor wash- which really makes photos stand out. Stage Right was very responsive throughout the planning process and great to work with, with an easy electronic system. I would definitely hire them again!!

We worked with Caroline and everything was great. We got a similar proposal from another company but really thought that the Stage Right team seemed the most professional and put together. She ran decisions by me (I could request specific colors for all stages of the evening) but I often felt comfortable deferring to her professional judgement. They helped us adjust the plans as the guest count came down but were prepared to jump back up if needed. We had a custom logo for our wedding which they made into a light. When we walked in to see our reception room before the guests, it was on the dance floor. We asked them to move it to a wall where it could be seen the whole night and they made the change in no time. Their beautiful lighting definitely elevated the event!

SRL truly made our "Winter Wedding By The Sea" magical---from snowflakes on the ceiling to snow falling during our first dance. They helped to make our special day absolutely perfect. The planning process with the SRL team was so easy, and they had some amazing ideas for our big day. We are so thankful for their team and the amazing job they did on making our wedding day dreams a reality.

SRL has a great team of experts who know exactly how to put on your dream wedding. I worked with Caroline Harrison, and she was fantastic at her job. She did the uplighting during cocktail hour & the reception. She hung up a vintage bar sign for us, and put together our late night for us. She was awesome & I'd recommend their team for your next major event or wedding!

Very beautiful lighting. All of my guests were very impressed by the intricate detail this companied was capable of. I chose to have a slight Harry Potter theme with my wedding and Stage Right was able to recreate floating candles over my dance floor that looked absolutely amazing. We also had a beautiful wall display.

It was such a pleasure to have Stage Right Lighting provide lighting services for my wedding. They DEFINITELY went above and beyond with not only their professionalism but their lighting but their customer service as well. Dave, Caroline, Courtney and the rest fo the SRL crew were amazed my guest not only with their uplighting, creative gobos, and table spotlighting, but they also had the ability to make it snow on the the dance floor ( with low lying fog I might add ) during our first dance! It was mesmerizing! Thank you, Stage Right for being the pros that you are!

I had not planned on paying for lighting, but I am so glad that I did! Caroline and Courtney took extra time to help me plan the perfect lighting scheme for our event. They provided me with a lot of options and tailored a package to our venue and budget. The techs who worked that evening did a wonderful job working the light board. We were very pleased with everything!

My lighting was perfect and just enough for a barn wedding! We had a little bit of uplighting outside the barn, but the gorgeous string lighting inside the barn on the ceiling above the dance floor! It was the perfect touch to our simple country wedding, but not too much to take away from the atmosphere! Thank you so much for the lighting and not recommending anything too much for what I was trying to go for. Jeremy knew exactly what I needed and made our wedding perfect!! Thank you so much!!!!

Courtney and Stage Right are the best. I was the Bride and event planner and I never had to worry about them. From start to complete finish they are above the 5 star. The whole crew was fantastic, friendly and professional. They can make a wedding sparkle. I will recommend them to everyone. I used all the bells and whistles and everyone loved it. Stage Right was an amazing part of my wedding ! Their spotlights, washes, uplights, and gobos added the perfect touch to our winter themed wedding. Working with Dave, Caroline and Courtney couldn't have been easier or more enjoyable! They got to our venue in plenty of time to set up so that everything was ready way ahead of time ! We got married at a rented beach house in Sandbridge. I didn't even think about professional lighting until it was suggested by our wedding coordinator. I'm so glad we went with Stage Right rather than just using the spot lights at the house or whatever was available. They were so helpful with suggestions for lighting and we got a discount through our coordinator. There was also a pool on the property and we had floating balls in the pool and a spot light design shining on the pool which looked awesome! The string lights they set up on the upper and lower deck looked so great. During the set up, the technicians put one of the poles right in the middle of our ceremony spot, but as soon as I asked if he could move it and arrange them differently, he was more than happy to oblige. Overall, we had a great experience with Stage Right!

WOW! My husband and I are still talking about how wonderful it was to work with Stage Right Lighting. They are such professionals, and truly make your night unforgettable. The lighting at our wedding was everything we wished for and beyond. We completely put all our trust into Stage Right Lighting from choosing the right colors for our reception, and we wouldn't have had it any other way! They truly took the time to get to know us, and had understanding of how we wanted our night to look like. They captured our personalities and style right on point! It will be a night my husband and I will talk about forever. Thank you from the bottom of hearts for making our lighting a dream that will be captured forever in our photographs and wedding video.

Stage Right Lighting made our event so beautiful. They are so knowledgeable and kind, and I cant thank them enough for making our wedding lighting so cozy. It felt so warm and so us. It felt as if the lighting almost put you at ease. We had amber lighting, and against the yellow and white accents we had it just made the room look beautiful. Caroline Harrison with Stage Right Lighting did such an amazing job at my wedding. We had a couple meetings and she was so personable and easy to work with. She had many examples of lighting from prior weddings she had done to give us an idea of how things would look. She really helped bring my vision to life. On the day of the wedding, when I walked down the aisle into the ceremony space, is when I saw the final product of our altar/sweetheart table backdrop which was so gorgeous and magical! We had such a romantic feel at our ceremony, I could not believe it was my wedding! The reception looked amazing as well with the pinspot lights on our centerpieces and the uplights which were changed throughout the night to set the mood for bridal party intros, first dance, F-D and M-S dances. The lighting really made our wedding and we would highly recommend Stage Right over any lighting company out there!

In the wedding planning process, lighting was the thing that I knew the least about...but rather than that being a stressful thing, Stage Right made it all so easy. They provided wonderful ideas, an easy to use proposal that allowed me to cater our choices to our budget, and were so helpful in answering questions about what they thought would look best or were the biggest priorities for lighting an outdoor reception. I worked with Caroline and Courtney in the planning process, and they were both so great in guiding me to choosing perfect lighting for our wedding!! The set up and breakdown crew guys were kind, knowledgable and respectful (they were able to hook into our dryer outlet inside the house and run power outside to do both the lighting and our DJ, as well as a few other power needs -- I don't know what we would have done without them knowing so much about power!!) When I walked into the tent at my reception, I felt like I was in a gorgeous, special room, rather than just under a plain ol' tent. The string lighting was beautiful, and the uplighting made the tent feel fun and helped give the party so much energy. Not to mention, the lighting tech, "B" was amazingly nice, and so helpful throughout the evening. We could not have been happier that we chose Stage Right!! Thanks again for helping make my reception everything I dreamed!!
