She is a fantastic photographer, and I couldn't recommend her more highly. She helped us feel natural while taking thousands of photos and also helped direct our large group so we stayed on timeline. The subtle direction she gave was also so needed and made us feel more comfortable! The photos turned out beautifully!! -

I can't think of anything Stacy and her second-shooter, Walter, could have done better. They melted into the background when it was time for candid shots, they took command when people needed to be wrangled for group shots, and they went above and beyond to make the day as perfect as possible. The best example is Walter going and getting our dog from the hotel room so we could get some shots with him. The photos are beautiful too! As someone who is typically not very photogenic, I am amazed at how many gorgeous photos of me Stacy captured. 10/10, absolutely would hire again and we may travel back to the location of our out-of-day wedding in the future for her to photograph future milestones. Thank you Stacy and Walter! -

Best decision we made!
Stacy was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. The forecast predicted rain all day meaning we had to move our ceremony indoors and we wouldn’t get to take our outdoor garden photos like we planned. Stacy was never phased and effortlessly pivoted the plan to make sure we still got all of the pictures we wanted—and they are some of the most gorgeous pictures we’ve ever seen! Beyond her amazing talent, Stacy and her husband Walter were professional, efficient, and put us both at ease for the whole day. We are so thankful to them!! -

Stacy and her team was one of the best decisions we made for our entire wedding process. We love her and Walter so much! She handled our very large wedding party so well. We can’t stop looking at all of our photos, it’s hard to pick favorites because she did a great job capturing so many! Stacy was also a calming presence for me throughout the wedding planning process and was able to share some of her wedding wisdom to help us have them best weekend. -

Picking Stacy as our photograph was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She went above and beyond to make sure make sure she captured everything perfectly on the big day - and even captured all the small details you wouldn't even have thought of.
For the engagement shoot as well as our couple shots during the wedding, she was extremely helpful in guiding us and giving us direction on how to stand, where to place our hands, etc. to ensure that she could capture the best angles. I cannot stress how helpful this was, especially for my husband and I who don't take many pictures.
She was professional, personable and had great communication throughout, which made her very easy to work with. She was able to turn around the photos shortly after the wedding and they turned out gorgeous! I cannot express how happy we are with picking her. Also, she was able to capture all of our dog's (the ring bearer) adorable moments too! -

Capture moments, not just photos with Stacy Able
My wife searched through portfolios of a bunch of photographers in the area of our wedding venue and we agreed that Stacy was the obvious standout. In her previous work we saw the capturing of MOMENTS which gave us a glimpse of who these people are. We wanted not just visual documentation of our day, but those sparkle-in-the-eyes moments that happen when groups of people who love each other gather in celebration. We got that with Stacy.
She helped us first with our engagement photos. That experience solidified her as the photographer we wanted for our wedding. It's so easy to follow directions from Stacy and she finds ways of extracting beauty and interest out of seemingly simple set ups. It's a testament to her skill. When our outdoor venue was rained on, Stacy rolled with it and got some beautiful photos of us taking advantage of the rain (instead of avoiding it). All the while, Stacy was getting soaked and continuing to suggest great shots. Rain or no, we knew Stacy would be the right person for the job and we were very thankful for the results. We would go with Stacy again in an instant. -

The answer to your questions about hiring Stacy Able Photography is YESSSSSSS. When our destination wedding was impacted by coronavirus we made the decision to get married in Indianapolis, alone, with our families watching over zoom and postpone our wedding celebration for a year. One of the best decisions we made was finding Stacy and hiring her. We are SO grateful for her work, it made our makeshift elopement real and you will not believe how great the pics turned out. Stacy was recommended to us by a neighbor who knew she did wedding photography and I had not seen her work before but since we desperately wanted someone to photograph our wedding and she was willing to come, wearing a mask and maintain a distance, we hired her. OH MY GOD WE ARE SO LUCKY. THESE PICTURES BELONG IN A MAGAZINE. I am not just saying this, she is so good. I have had pictures taken professionally before and it is so awkward, I normally feel so uncomfortable, hate the way I look, my poses, etc. The pictures she captured were flawless. She was professional, prompt, helpful, and boy is she talented - just the best experience possible. It was beyond our expectations. People are still contacting me months after to tell me how great our photos look - like, friends of friends and beyond. People we don't even know are contacting me about these pictures. Hire Stacy! Amazing photographer results in PERFECT wedding day!
Stacy Able is AMAZING. She was incredibly easy to work with and her work truly shows how amazing she is. Prior to our wedding day, she wanted to know more about us and the details going into it. I loved her enthusiasm when I would throw an idea out there - she would run with it and she brought it to life. Yes, I had a wedding planner, but I consider Stacy a planner herself! She memorized the itinerary and knew exactly what was going on at all times. She gave me comfort with how on top of it she was! Also, her assistant/hubby Walter was awesome! It poured rain for most of the day and the two of them made me feel like it was a beautiful day. I highly recommend her! You will NOT regret it. -

Stacy was so amazing to work with. She wanted to get to know myself and my husband before our big day so she could get photos that related to our personalities. The photos came out better than I could've imagined. She took charge, but not in a bossy way. She needed to control 14 people before rain came and we got a lot of shots because of it. Stacy will be doing all of my future photos to come. -

I am so, so incredibly happy that we went with Stacy as our wedding photographer. Not only does she take the most beautiful photos I've ever seen, she's an absolute dream to work with! From the moment we contacted her, she was friendly, accommodating (we had to change up our engagement photos a few times due to weather and she was incredibly flexible), efficient, and made us feel super comfortable. Even my husband who despises taking photos enjoyed taking photos with Stacy. Our friends and families at the wedding also took notice and could not stop talking about how amazing she was, she told everyone exactly where to go, how to pose, and made even the most awkward of people feel comfortable posing for photos. You cannot go wrong in hiring Stacy as your photographer, she is truly incredible! -

The last thing you need is more stress on your big day, so do yourself a favor and book Stacy.
She's the best - we were fortunate enough to have found her for our elopement and were over the moon about the photos.

We found Stacy after our initial photographer had to cancel on us. We had been in a hurry to get another photographer locked in quickly for our October wedding, so I did some online searching and set up a meeting with Stacy to get to know her. We immediately felt that she was like a friend and we could tell she was very professional, bringing printed books for us to peruse her work. We hired her for both engagement and wedding photos and we were not disappointed. She works quickly and gives clear direction without being too pushy. Her shots that she captured from both days of shooting were incredible and we loved the care she put into making the perfect memories for us. On our wedding day, Stacy brought her husband Walter as her second shooter and he did a great job capturing alternate moments and helping Stacy make sure that she covered just about every moment we had wanted to remember. We can't thank them enough! -

M Sent on 04/09/2018I cannot express my gratitude enough for Stacy Able Photography. Stacy is a talented photographer with a passion and true gift for what she does. Beyond her amazing talent, Stacy is both professional and personable. Not once did I have concern or a worry about her capturing our engagement session and our wedding day, which included a destination elopement and a union celebration with family and friends. Stacy provided support in helping us identify and understand our needs for our day and a through walk through of what each event would entail. On the day of our elopement, she was just the person we wanted to steward our day and capture all the magic -- and that she did! While we are a fairly introverted couple, her enthusiastic, easy-going, yet focused and detailed demeanor helped us relax and unwind and enjoy our day. She gets extra props for handling a surprise early Spring blizzard. She knows how to make the best of the environment to capture the perfect shot. Check out her website and see for yourself! Andrew Sent on 03/31/2018My wife Sarah and I were married in April 2017. We met with Stacy in mid-2016 and clicked with her immediately. We loved the examples of past wedding albums she created for her clients and she was very flexible on creating a photography package that worked best for us and our budget. Our custom photo package included our engagement photo session, wedding photos, our hardback wedding album, and a flash drive with all of our images.
On our wedding day, we did pictures in downtown Indy and also went to the grounds of the IMA (now Newfields). Stacy was very familiar with the grounds of the museum and where to go for the ideal pictures. We felt completely comfortable and trusted her eye to capture our special day. We would highly recommend choosing Stacy for your wedding day or for any event. She is very thoughtful and one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. -

We had Stacy take our engagement photos and our wedding photos and she is seriously talented. For our wedding she captured intimate and silly moments, and was able to work under our tight schedule and limited photo locations. She had to fly in to Texas where we live and where the wedding was held at, and from planning to execution, she was en pointe. She was everything we were told she would be: professional, friendly, and most importantly, she knew how to take a great photo! The chapel where our ceremony took place was dimly lit, and we had a very limited amount of time allowed on site. Stacy had to rely on her instincts to capture us in our best light, and she succeeded wonderfully. Stacy had a good eye in finding the best shots, allowing us to create some beautiful moments.

From the day of our first consultation to our engagement session to our wedding day and beyond, she captured every moment and detail better than I had even imagined in my mind. She is also not one of those photographers that snaps pictures of you and cuts out. As busy as her schedule is, she always makes you feel like you are her number one priority and it shows through the promptness of her services. This was the best decision I ever made above all in my wedding planning process! -

Melissa Sent on 04/23/2013First of all, let me say that I absolutely love Stacy as a person. Not only is she fun and outgoing, she is just a cool person to be around and spend time with - when I noticed her dancing at our reception, I pulled her out on to the floor to join us! I can't say enough great things about Stacy personally, she is a wonderful person and she goes far beyond what most would do to ensure that you get great photos that you love.
In regards to her photography - again, I can't speak highly enough of her work. I did two shoots with Stacy, one of which was boudoir and let me tell you, there is NOBODY better to do a session like that with. Stacy made me feel absolutely comfortable, had a ton of ideas for posing, and I ended up with beautiful photos that I will cherish for MANY years to come.
At the wedding, Stacy (again) had a ton of poses and advice for us. She was absolutely wonderful at wrangling our wedding party and family in a nice but firm way - we definitely didn't have anyone wondering off during photos. I never noticed her taking photos, with exception of the ones I specifically posed for, of course. She was super friendly to everyone - just another great reason to choose Stacy as your photographer.
5/5 is the highest I can give, but I would give higher if I could. I absolutely loved working with Stacy, and will absolutely be working with her again when the time comes for maternity and newborn photos!
