Hire Stacie!

Stacie was the photographer for our wedding on 8/12/23 and we are SO happy with our decision to hire her. She was so professional yet fun the day of and took care of everything so we could relax and enjoy our day. We got married at the Warren Center in Ashland and she knew all the best spots for photos. We just got the photos back a couple weeks ago and we love them! We look amazing and so natural in all of them. Could not recommend her highly enough.

Wonderful Photographer for any Wedding!

Stacie was the photographer for my wedding in December and she was incredible. Not only did the photos come out fantastic, but she was such a pleasure to work with and truly made the entire day stress-free. She also went above and beyond to help make sure me and my bridesmaids got to the venue without getting wet (it was very rainy that day) and she was the cleaning hero when I accidentally spilt a drink all over my dress. I received my photos a few days ago and I can't stop looking at them. I truly could not recommend her enough to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

Wonderful attitude, wonderful photos

Stacie was on the preferred vendors list, but I fell in love with her style as soon as I saw her photos. She has so much enthusiasm and is so passionate about what she does. She did such a great job making my husband and I, as well as our families, feel comfortable during photos - it felt like she was an old friend. Stacie was also so flexible with the intermittent showers on our wedding day. Our photos are gorgeous!!

Above and beyond!!

You must book Stacie Kirkwood as your photographer!! When we were out taking photos during my cocktail hour I ruined my dress with mud (which was completely my fault.) Stacie told me not to worry and when we returned to the venue she came with me to the bathroom and washed my entire train out in the sink making it look brand-new, while her awesome assistant wrangled my 50+ extended family for the best group photo we have ever gotten. She went so above and beyond what I expected of any photographer, and to top it off all of the photos she took were absolutely amazing. She was able to capture the joy of the day, keep up a positive energy, and before she left she made sure to find me and make sure I had every photo I wanted. Stacie Kirkwood is on your side every step of the way and I cannot recommend her enough

Highly recommend!

My husband and I recently got married at Zuka's Hilltop Barn in Spencer, MA and are SO happy we chose Stacie to be our photographer. We got our pictures back and absolutely love them. I don't consider myself photogenic but was surprised to see I actually liked pictures of myself! Stacie is extremely professional and has a great personality that makes you feel at ease. She managed to capture wonderful moments in our wedding in such a subtle way. We would highly recommend!! (Also-- her package is a better bang for your buck compared to other photographers we got quotes from- she sends you a zipfile of all your photos to do whatever you want with them!)

Wonderful experience with an amazing photographer!

I received Stacie's name as a recommendation from a friend and without hesitation its the best thing he's ever done for me! Stacie is a wonderful mix of professional and fun rolled into one. Getting some of my relatives into a large group shot was a bit like herding cats but Stacie got them all in line in a wonderful way. She has a great eye for lighting and gives you feedback on how to hold yourself so your pictures come out great. Throughout our wedding day Stacie worked hard to make sure we had the right shots and really found some nice opportunities to take advantage of the amazing sunset we lucked out with. I had multiple people commenting at the wedding and beyond about how awesome Stacie was and would happily recommend her to anyone. She is without a doubt truly talented, and on top of that she has an amazing upbeat personality and energy level. When planning your wedding do yourself a favor and decrease your level of stress by working with Stacie. You will not find a more talented, fun and reliable photographer to work with.

Allright where do I begin with Stacie she is a Hugger! I absolutely loved her when you have a husband that doesnt like to smile and looks like he is about to throw daggers in pictures having someone as genuine and care free as Stacie is amazing she made us feel comfortable and completely at ease it was almost as if she was part of the family. Stacie was referred by our venue rep and it was the best reference I could have ever received when Justine said she was the best she was not lying to anyone who wants pain free pictures that make you look real and not forcing it Stacie os the way to go

Stacie had done a wedding I was in a few years ago. I had never remembered vendors from weddings I'd been to but I remembered Stacie. She has a fun personality and I loved the pictures she did for my friend, I knew I wanted to meet with Stacie for our wedding. Stacie was the 5th and final photographer we met with and knew after our meeting that she was the one we wanted! Her background and personality sealed the deal. We even used the videographer and DJ she recommended who were also amazing. You will not be disappointed with your pictures if you choose Stacie!

Stacie played a HUGE role in our wedding. Right from the start when speaking to Stacie on the phone we knew she was the photographer we wanted. Stacie is fun, energetic, professional, and charismatic. She was able to adapt to last minute changes, and take a drizzly day and make it look beautiful. We took lots of photos inside during our hour between the ceremony and reception due to the rain, but Stacie knew that I really wanted photos outside. At this point I had forgotten about my longing for outdoor photos, but she made it a point to continuously check the weather and pull my husband and myself away from dinner to take photos outside when the rain had subsided some (of course after asking us). These photos are some of our favorites, and this gesture was something that I wouldn't have expected. I had no doubts or worries about Stacie's services at any point in time from the time of our engagement to after our wedding.

Her photos speak for themselves, both engagement and wedding, but her talent goes far beyond the pictures. Thanks again Stacie!

I would recommend anyone to Stacie! She is so sweet and her work speaks for itself. My husband and I have so many wonderful photos from our engagement shoots and our wedding pictures. The day of our wedding was really hot, and Stacie was really flexible with scheduling and was able to get a lot of photos done in a short period of time. The boys were so thankful of that!! Now looking back at the photos, you can't even tell we were so hot. Stacie, thank you for everything.

Stacie was the best to work with! Coordinating and communicating with Stacie in advance was one of the easiest parts of wedding planning. On the day of, I felt like she was our impromptu coordinator, keeping us on time, on track, and smiling! All of my bridesmaids commented on how efficient the post-ceremony wedding party and family portraits were, and also how terrific she was working with the little kids and keeping their attention. I would highly recommend Stacie not only for the quality of her work and value of her packages, but the ease she brought to an otherwise stressful day!!

Stacie Kirkwood was the photographer for my dearest friend's wedding AND her sister's wedding, so of course, I wanted to use her for our wedding. When we sat down with Stacie for the first time to discuss the big day she immediately hugged us. She is full of energy and life and we loved her immediately. She is creative, intelligent, straightforward, and all her hard work seems effortless on her part. She communicated with us easily and promptly. Her paramount expertise emanated as she ticked off exposures during daylight, sunset, and night time. She had her father, Charlie, with her as a 2nd photographer and they were two peas in a pod. Together they worked swimmingly and professionally. We honestly consider Stacie like a friend...she's just the best!

We really loved Stacie from the get-go! She has a happy, enthusiastic and fun-loving personality and it shows in the photos she takes. We had an engagement session with her in the fall of 2015 and she made us at ease and comfortable in front of the camera. She was also very responsive to our questions and requests. On the day of the wedding, both Stacie and Charlie, her dad and second photographer, were very professional and patient, especially with the last-minute church ceremony pictorial. We’ve seen a sneak peek of the wedding photos that they took on her blog and they captured everything perfectly! We love all of them, especially the candid photos. Stacie has a knack for capturing candid, tender moments and we absolutely love those photos! She’s also really great with the kids at the wedding. We highly recommend Stacie to future couples who are looking for a wedding photographer!

Stacie photographed our engagement session in May 2015 as well as our wedding a couple of weeks ago. I can not say enough about how happy I am with her services! Our engagement photos were wonderful and our preview of photos from our wedding are so much more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! Stacie is extremely professional but also a delight to be around and great at her work. I would definitely recommend her to any future brides who are looking! She is located in the metro west but was willing to come to our venue up on the north shore. We love Stacie (and her second shooter, Charlie!)

I cannot say enough good things about Stacie. We worked with Stacie for our engagement photos in July, wedding in September, and in a boudoir session as a special present to my husband. She is AMAZING! I looked at many photographers and their portfolios before finding Stacie. All of the other photographer's pictures looked the same but when I saw Stacie's I was instantly blown away and I knew I needed to hire her immediately! Stacie is so energetic and fun to work with. From the moment we first met, I knew there was nobody else I wanted following us around and photographing us on our wedding day. She makes you feel so comfortable it is almost as if your best friend is the one photographing you. Due to the the time of sunset on our wedding day, we had limited time to work with for family and bridal party photos. Stacie was organized and efficient in getting all of our "must have" photos despite the limited daylight and even got us all back in time for cocktail hour. Stacie was very flexible and had no problem adding on an extra hour as things were moving slower than scheduled at our reception and we wanted to make sure we had pictures of our guests dancing! Our wedding photos came out better than I could have ever imagined. Everyone who sees our gallery comments on how they've never seen such gorgeous wedding pictures. We couldn't be more honored to have had Stacie photograph our special day and are forever grateful for our beautiful wedding photos, which we will cherish forever. Stacie was amazing!!! I can't even begin to tell you how great she was at keeping everything organized and on schedule. She
really made sure she was able to get all of the shots she needed. I have received so much amazing feedback from family and friends who have seen the pictures - they thought they came out incredible. One thing that really meant a lot to me was - during the reception, before Stacie took off, she grabbed my grandparents and John and I to take a photo together. I had mentioned that my grandparents got married in the same venue about 60 years ago. She remembered that and made sure we captured the same moment that they had, in a photo together. I was so touched that she made an extra effort to organize this, especially since i had forgot about it. She gave us this wonderful memory captured in a beautiful photograph, and it really meant a lot to me.

We worked with Stacie on our fall engagement photos in 2014 and wedding photos in 2015. She is a total rockstar. We wanted to invest in our wedding photographs, and she is definitely worth the value. Stacie is the best! The best money we spent the entire wedding. Everything was off schedule due to me being late, and she rolled with it. Never complained and just shot beautiful photos. It was pouring out that day too, and she was out in the rain with us doing pictures. My wedding party was restless and kind of everywhere all at once, and she was able to coral everyone for those important photos. The engagement shoot was so fun, and the boudoir session I did with her as a present for my hubby was just as fun and easy. She makes you feel comfortable at all times. She is quick and gets all the shots she needs in the time needed. Love her!

Working with Stacie was one of the best parts of my wedding planning. I was a little bit of a crazy lady and Stacie was always very responsive and calming. From the moment my husband and I met her, we were sure she was going to capture our wedding day perfectly and she did. I did a lot of research and Stacie's prices were by far the most reasonable for the product that you get. I had a list of pictures that I was hoping for and Stacie made sure I got them all even in the rain. I absolutely love my wedding photos and could not have imagined anything better! Throughout the wedding so many people commented on how great she was and how awesome her personality is. If you have children in your wedding, she is fantastic with kids! I have referred her to friends and family every chance I get, in fact a friend has already used her and my sister is using her next Spring. I can never express my gratitude towards Stacie for capturing my wedding so perfectly. The only downfall is that you have to wait 6 months to get rights to your pictures but that was explained upfront so I knew what to expect. You do get to see them all within a few weeks of your wedding though! Just wish I could enjoy my pictures sooner! I highly recommend choosing Stacie. She will not disappoint.

I can't even say enough amazing things about Stacie! First of all my fiancé and I were so uncomfortable about taking engagement photos and after five minutes with Stacie she had us laughing and feeling at ease. The day of our wedding she managed to squeeze my long list of photos into a short amount of time due to daylight savings time. Her work is so amazing it is the best money we spent during the entire process.

I highly recommend Stacie Kirkwood based upon my recent positive experience with Stacie who photographed our wedding and reception. My friend had highly recommended Stacie who had taken beautiful family photos for her in Cape Cod. After meeting Stacie and seeing her work I knew immediately this was the photographer I would feel comfortable with and hire. Stacie’s photography captured the joyful story of our church wedding and reception at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA. Stacie is friendly, professional and experienced and provided excellent coordination to ensure we took the desired family and museum photos without detracting from our wedding celebration time. We used Stacie for our engagement and wedding photography and she was absolutely incredible. I can't say enough good things about her.

Choosing a photographer was one of the most important decisions in my wedding planning and I found her after an exhaustive search. As soon as we met with her, we knew we had made the right choice.

Stacie has an amazing eye for locations, poses, etc that make for incredible pictures. I'm not the most photogenic person in the world, but Stacie made me feel beautiful (she has ruined me for all photographs of myself moving forward). And her personality makes everyone feel relaxed and in front of the camera.

Stacie definitely makes you feel like your wedding is special and one-of-a-kind. We had a family emergency about a week out from the wedding and were considering canceling the whole thing and she was incredibly understanding and accommodating. She really made us feel so much better.

I hope for the opportunity to work with her again. And soon!

Stacie is a PHENOMENAL photographer. Her work is beautiful & she is able to capture such special moments between people. Her energy is contagious which helps tremendously when you're not used to the camera. My mother, who hates having her picture taken, was more than willing to get in front of the camera because of how comfortable Stacie made her. In addition, on our wedding day, it was snowing pretty hard. She was extremely adventurous and captured some incredibly beautiful shots of my husband & I outside! Stacie and her lovely assistant Anne where outstanding to work with! We had met with Stacie in advance and walked the venue and talked about the types of pictures we were interested in. I could tell instantly she has vision for light and architecture in a way that would make our photos exactly what we were hoping for. She moves fast, in a good way and gives very clear direction. What she can do with large groups of people, I’ve never seen before! She mentioned early on that once the ceremony/ reception started we wouldn’t even notice her....and we didn’t however when looking at pics people took on their phones, I see she was front and center and I know she got the perfect shots! When taking photos in the middle of crowded downtown crossing, on a Saturday afternoon we ran into a snag that Stacie was most impacted by, when I say she kept going and didn’t let it impact the shoot in anyway ( all I’ll say is I would have been thrown off my game has this happen to me). She is amazing and we were lucky to have her shoot our wedding.

We had Stacie photograph our wedding in June and really were happy with her. She has tons of energy and a very upbeat attitude that made the picture taking process fun. She was very easy to communicate with before the wedding and got all of the shots that we were hoping for (plus a ton more.) She went and scouted out our venue before the wedding to find some great spots for pictures and our photographs are great! We moved all around the city so that we don't have the same backdrop for each picture and she had lots of ideas for interesting shots. We can't wait to get an album to show them all off. She also sent us a link to a slideshow only a few days after the wedding that we could share with family who couldn't make it.

Stacie was amazing, and continues to be. Her energy, flexbility, professionalism, "invisibility" (I can barely remember seeing her or her 2nd shooter the whole day aside from formals), and just overall awesomeness really contributed to the perfect quality of our wedding day. She was also super easy to work with leading up to the wedding and really helped calm me when I was, well, freaking out. She was really quick putting up the initial picture blog -- my husband and I eagerly looked at the pictures over and over again on our honeymoon -- and just as responsive with all of our online pictures. She's even been so understanding and patient as we're taking FOREVER to choose our albums. All of our friends and family were impressed with the pictures and how they captured the energy and love from the day, and we could not be happier.

Stacie is wonderful! She is professional and her work is beautiful. She is fun, flexible, easy to work with and makes everyone feel comfortable. She is lighthearted and made us laugh throughout the day, she feels like a close friend not just your photographer. She made me feel at ease leading up to our wedding and on our wedding day, she even helped with my dress when no one else could see the clasp. Stacie was our dream photographer. Her personality is amazing and our families and friends loved her. My husband, who isn't a big fan of lots of photos, even commented on how great she was. On the day of my wedding she eased all of my fears and was extremely organized and ensured all photos on a pre-made shot list were taken. Her assistant Charlie was also fantastic as well. I have seen a brief preview of photos, which are beautiful. I can't wait to see the rest! Her packages are reasonable and inclusive. For example, the package I selected had the necessary hours of coverage as well as a wedding album that will be put together at a later date. I have recieved the blog photos from my wedding and Stacie did an absolutely amazing job, we cannot wait to see the rest of the photos. From the moment I met Stacie while searching for the perfect photographer, I loved all of her work. She is bubbly but down to earth, and has the ability to capture the most perfect moments without you even noticing. She is easy to get in touch with with any questions leading up to your event date. Stacie shot our wedding this past October. She was amazing! When we met her we knew she was going to be the person we wanted to photograph our wedding! My husband came to our first meeting, and said I'm not going to go with you to any others because he loved Stacie so much! We had a shot list in place, and we made some additions and minor changes throughout the day and it worked out. Myself and the girls were running a bit late from the hair salon and we were a bit rushed when I was getting ready, which she was so calm..and told me not to worry about it. She still made it to the church on time, and got shots of the boys. We made a stop to take formals, and it was great. Our limo driver was trying to rush us, and I didn't want Stacie to feel rushed..so I pretty much told her to continue on with her shots she wanted. The limo could wait since my pictures were more important. I love her style, very natural and perfect shots. We thought about spending less on a photographer, but the results wouldn't even be the SAME! I have friends that spent less than what we did, and there pictures don't even compare to the ones Stacie took! I HIGHLY recommend her. She ended up staying an extra 1/2 hour since we wanted more formals with extended family. She posts some photos the next day on her blog, and ours came out amazing!!! I'm excited to see the rest of them. In a nutshell, Stacie Kirkwood is a unbelievable photographer!

Honestly, you can't go wrong with Stacie. When we left our first meeting with her, my husband looked at me, laughed, and said "I wanted to ask her to grab a drink with us!" She is truly that friendly, interesting, and fun to be around. On our wedding day, she had a terrible cold but she was still able to keep our wedding party in line, and the photos we've seen on her blog are AMAZING. She is accomodating, creative, professional. Stacie did both our engagement photos as well as the photography for our June 12, 2010 wedding and she was absolutely amazing!! My husband and I felt like we clicked with her the first time we met her and I loved her upbeat and outgoing attitude! She was so great the day of the wedding and I really felt like she was one of the girls! :) She always had a smile on her face and got along great with everyone and even made it a point to learn family and bridal party member names! She was also extremely organized and was so great at directing everyone during formals in order to get them done as quickly as possible. All of the photos came out amazing and we really feel like we are reliving the day every time we look through them. She even did a photo slideshow set to music for us and every time I watch it, I tear up...it's beautiful and so touching! She really did an outstanding job and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer.

I have nothing but the best things to say about Stacie. I would highly recommend Stacie to all of my friends. Having just moved from London to Boston and organizing my wedding day from scratch in a new city, was a little daunting, Stacie eased this for me. I spoke with a number of photographers and my final choice was between Stacie and another photographer who had recently won Boston Best 2008 and 2007. There was no price difference to consider, the Boston Best awarded photographer had reduced their fee as our wedding was during an off peak period, being in December. I could have hired the photographer with the known accolades but I chose Stacie as she had her finger on the button of what I was looking for and ideas that inspired me. We warmed very much to her great personality after our first meeting. As well as creating the wedding style photographs, I also wanted to create some classic black and white 1940s style photographs and Stacie achieved this beautifully.

Stacie works with the up most professionalism, is always on hand with regards any queries you may have running up to your wedding day. Stacie made us feel at complete ease, totally relaxed and added to our enjoyment of the day.

My husband and I certainly have no hesitation in recommending Stacie she is defiantly our Boston Best and such a lovely person with great sense of humour.

Stacie Kirkwood is the most outstanding fantastic photographer you could hire for your wedding. From the moment I spoke to Stacie on the phone I could tell she had a passion for her work and her clients. She helped us recreate our wedding day because our original photographer was horrific and we had no photos. Stacie was amazing. She always answered my questions quickly, always reassured me, was on top of EVERYTHING, down to shot list and timeline (which my 1st photographer never even asked for). She has an energy that will blow you away. She didn’t stop from the moment we saw her to the moment she left. She actually went above and beyond what I was expecting. On the day of our redo she was phenomenal! She remembered every single person’s name (after meeting once) in my wedding party. That blew me away. She would point to someone and say "Camille" can you come over here, and she had the right name and person. And children...... if you have children in your wedding she is fantastic with them, she is a natural. She can get any squirmy 4 year old to stay alert enough for the camera and SMILE. Simply Awesome. Every single person in my wedding party commented on how incredible she was.

But more importantly the photos. The photos were without a doubt awesome and left me and my husband speechless. I cried the first time I saw them, they were breath taking. She just captured all the tiny details, all the surprise tender moments; she truly knows what she is doing. I say this because we were burned on our first photographer. I wish I could show you the difference between someone who is skilled at what they do (Stacie) and someone who isn’t. She helped me get over the pain of not having the original photos from our wedding day, recreated the day like it had actually happened, and made me feel like the bride I was supposed to be. You cannot and will not go wrong with hiring Stacie Kirkwood for your photographer. She really cares about the work she produces, and cares about her clients. She is awesome and I can’t say enough wonderful things about her. Hire her! She is worth every penny!!!!

We continue to get comments on how wonderful our wedding photos are--how they look like normal, yet classic. Stacie was very open to our ideas and provided us with a great structure for our day. I think everyone's biggest fears of choosing a wedding photographer are that they take cheesy and cliche pictures, or are that they are not flexible with their time. Stacie was the woman in charge at my wedding and we couldn't be happier with her work. The pictures turned out great, she had some fantastic ideas, and was very easy to work with. Charlie was also a delight and a great guest a the groom's pad! They stayed for the entire reception and never seemed to be in a rush to get their pictures in and leave. The final product was great and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Her knowledge of the Falmouth area was also a big plus, as she had a pretty good idea of where to go to get the pictures we wanted. I would definitely recommend.

Stacie was the photographer for both our engagement photos and for our wedding. We absolutely loved her energy and positive attitude. We had the ambitious goal of getting portraits of our extended families during the event, and we were very impressed at how Stacie was able to professionally wrangle large groups of distracted guests... she even managed to get photos with everyone smiling and looking at the camera. There were some photos that my husband or I had our eyes half open, but it didn't detract from the large number of beautiful photos that Stacie and Charlie were able to capture. Stacie is a talented photographer and a really charismatic person who provided us with great memories of our wedding day... and her pricing is very reasonable too :)

I love my pictures! They came out great and Stacie was fun to work with and very professional. In hindsight, I wish I had chosen someone who had been to my venue before--there were a lot of beautiful backdrops (a lake for example) and we don't have one picture of it!
