Everyone I interacted with at St. Luke's Chapel was caring and efficient especially Elizabeth. Her assistant Jim was kind enough to take photos for us and Chaplain Harris was truly a minister of Christ-like warmth and wisdom! -

Perfect ceremony venue!
St. Luke’s chapel was the perfect spot for our wedding ceremony! The size was the perfect for our 200 guest wedding. Elizabeth was incredibly responsive and made the process so easy. She had great recommendations and insight! -

A Dream Bridgerton Wedding at St. Luke's Chapel, Charleston
From the moment we started planning our wedding, we knew St. Luke's Chapel in Charleston would be a magical place to say our vows. And truly, it surpassed every expectation.
The Venue: St. Luke's Chapel is a gem in the heart of Charleston. Its historical charm blends seamlessly with its beautifully maintained structure, creating an ambiance that is both elegant and welcoming. The chapel's stunning architecture, with its intricate stained glass and perfect acoustics, provided a fairy-tale backdrop for our ceremony. Its quaint size made our wedding feel intimate and personal, which was exactly what we were looking for.
The Coordinator: Elizabeth, the coordinator, was a star from start to finish. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Elizabeth coordinated with vendors and our planner effortlessly and ensured that every aspect of our day went off without a hitch.
The Experience: The chapel's setting in the historic district of Charleston added a special touch to our day, offering beautiful photo opportunities and a charming atmosphere for our guests. From the enchanting walk down the aisle to the heartfelt exchange of vows under the chapel's soaring ceilings, every moment felt like a page out of a storybook. -

Nothing like old Charleston charm. This beautiful chapel has so much neat history. Elizabeth was very prompt with answering my emails. The information is well prepared and organized, so really all of your questions are answered with her information packet. Either way, I was able to reach out and receive a quick response for any other miscellaneous questions. Loved this little church, pictures don’t even do it justice. -

We loved having our wedding at St. Luke's Chapel! The chapel is stunning, and I was so pleased that we could have the intimate feel we wanted without spending too much time, effort, and money on decorations and rental fees. Photos inside and outside turned out amazing! Parking was convenient (which is a luxury in downtown Charleston). Mrs. Brown was very professional and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend St. Luke's for your wedding venue! -

Perfect! Could not have been better!
St. Luke's was the perfect chapel for our wedding. Elizabeth Brown, who is in charge of scheduling/coordinating weddings there was very responsive to all of my questions and was very quick to help with any issues or concerns that I had. If you go to school or work at MUSC, this chapel is very affordable compared to most buildings downtown and can fit quite a lot of people in it. The outside is beautiful with gorgeous gardens to take pictures in and enjoy the outdoors. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, beautiful chapel in the downtown area. -

Beautiful Chapel with Intimate Feel.
St. Luke's Chapel was everything I wanted in a wedding chapel. It was large enough to accommodate a sizable wedding while still feeling intimate. The staff is very friendly and always available to answer any questions. The grounds around the chapel make a perfect backdrop for wedding photos. -

Best Ceremony Venue!
I can’t imagine our ceremony going any better. St. Luke’s was the perfect historic, picturesque, downtown chapel to exhale de our vows! Not to mention Elizabeth was SO responsive and easy to work with. They even let our little dachshund Winston walk down the aisle! -

St Luke’s Chapel is the perfect spot for a Charleston ceremony!! It is in a great location in downtown that is easy for everyone to walk/drive/Uber to. We had our wedding here and everything about this place is amazing. The pricing is awesome especially compared to others in the area, the have no restrictions like most churches do which makes it so much easier for destination couples too. Elizabeth is the contact there and she is so nice, responds quickly and helped answer any questions I had. The chapel itself is gorgeous but the courtyard outside is especially pretty and was the perfect spot for our photos after. This is definitely the best place for a ceremony in all of Charleston!! -

Ceremony Location
Excellent location for a Charleston wedding! We had a great experience with St Lukes. Elizabeth is quick to respond and very easy to work with! The church is so lovely and barely needs any decorations to make it into the wedding of your dreams. The church sets over 300 and the grounds are also great for pictures! Overall great experience. I definitely recommend using Saint Lukes Chapel for your Charleston wedding! -

Her professionalism and mannerism was above and beyond. The chapel is just beautiful by itself. It’s one of those places that does not have to be decorated to be stunning. Rev Rossi was precious and included our infant daughter in our ceremony to bless us as a family. He made the ceremony so intimate. We highly recommend Rev George Rossi to officiate your wedding. We also recommend St Luke’s Chapel as your venue. You will not be disappointed. Thank you, Mrs. Elizabeth for making our special day possible.

Everyone was braving the icy rodes and her team was there and we had everything we needed. In addition, the church is so beautiful I was able to save on decor because it needed very little. St Luke’s Chapel was everything I imaged and more. Elizabeth Brown was so helpful and always a phone call away. St Luke’s Chapel was just an exquisite venue to have a wedding. Not only full of history, you need very little to no decor at all. Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful and I’m so thankful I was able to get married in such an immaculate place. -

Danielle Sent on 12/31/2011Love the chapel! So beautiful. Our wedding here was perfect! They do schedule events back to back, as in one ends at 5:30 and the next BEGINS at 5:30. Because of that, they are not very flexible. -

What I HATED was the coordinator at the church micromanaging our every move. She literally stood at the back of the church with her arms folded during the rehearsal and the wedding. I did not appreciate the "evil eye" she gave us.... probably because she thought we were going to run over our allotted time (there was nothing else scheduled for the day).
