Where do we even begin?! Working with Spynfo was seamless from start to finish. He is incredibly professional, organized and knows the ins and outs of the wedding scene to make sure our special day was not only memorable but so much fun. All of our guests RAVED about the dancefloor, he kept the energy high ALLLL night. And not only is he a DJ but also an EXCELLENT MC. He truly made the whole evening feel like a party. Literally almost all of our guests shared that once they finished dinner they didn't go back to their seats until the end of the evening. The music he plays keeps everyone up and moving and having the very best time. We also used the dancing in the clouds effect which created the most beautiful pictures and our guests also loved it. The photobooth bought by Spynfo and his team also kept our guests so entertained and helped to capture so many special memories. We really appreciated the wedding questionnaire he had us fill out ahead of time to make sure all of our requests and needs were met in terms of requests and just overall flow of the evening. We truly could not reccommend working with Mike + his team more they made our wedding day one for the books. DJ Spynfo/matrimony is a universal DJ! I knew being a destination wedding bride I’d be flying in a DJ from home and it was the best decision ever!we got married on 7/3/24 in Cancun with 156 guest and they are all still talking about it until today. I get texts like “Julie, I’ve never been to a wedding where the dance floor was not empty at some point of the night” …. Listen, my hubby is so particular about music and always has something to say lol. He had nothing to say ! From beginning to end our DJ was professional! We interacted with our guest and attended our welcome party so he can get a sense of our group and vibe . Like he took his task very seriously . Both hubby and i are Haitian and most of our guest was but I will tell you without giving him a playlist or anything , my mom thought he was Haitian, and he is NOT lol. From start to finish Mr. Matrimony was amazing. Great wedding package selections to choose from. Timely communication from the time we signed the contract till our big day. Mr. Matrimony sets up a meeting with you to review his worksheet which covers everything from music genres for guest arrival to ceremony entrance music down to last song of the night. He is great at what he he does and it showed during the reception as he got the crowd hype and out their seats with music and games. Highly recommend him for your wedding.
My Wife: He was amazing. He was professional, and took into account our needs on our special day. He kept the party going and people are still talking about how good he was today and our wedding was October 2023. -

Mike was the PERFECT DJ & MC for our wedding! Perfect communicator, very easily accessible, and most importantly, had EVERYONE dancing the entire evening (and I mean everyone – yes, even some of our elderly guests!)
We feel so blessed to have had him provide the music pre-ceremony while guests were arriving, during our ceremony, during cocktail hour and during reception. He is such a pro at what he does!
We provided him a few of the songs for the hallmark dances, and a few playlists for the general vibe of the evening, but we trusted him entirely to lead the musical experience for our wedding – and he delivered.
We easily recommend Mike for any event you could need music and an MC for. THANK YOU SPYNFO! -

Exactly 4 months ago on this day, Spynfo had my wedding rocking! From start to finish he had our 200 plus guests and the entire wedding party dancing. From hiphop / R&B to kompa & dancehall, the dance floor was never empty. Spynfo knows how to bring people together and he makes sure that everyone is having a great time. We HIGHLY recommend his services.

THE DJ to hire if you want your wedding to be a dance party!
We attended a wedding in New York 5 years ago where DJ Spynfo (Mr. Matrimony) performed and that wedding was an absolute party thanks to his music selection and emcee skills. We knew from that moment we wanted him at our wedding, and even flew him across the country to Las Vegas because we knew he would make sure our wedding was a blast! He delivered beyond our wildest dreams. From the moment the reception started, people were on the dance floor and the energy never wavered because Spynfo had everybody all the way up! He knows how to read the room, transition among music genres and tempos, and instill confidence in guests to get them on the dance floor. And his emceeing is second to none! My wife and I just got married on Sunday, May 15th 2022. All of our vendors performed well, but DJ Spynfo was undoubtedly the MVP! He skillfully, effectively, and flawlessly handled our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.
I will put it simply – if you want a wedding reception that is exciting, amazing, and high energy, it is an absolute must that you hire DJ Spynfo. He is a true master of his craft and an expert at engaging the crowd and getting everyone to get up and dance.
Let me say this – I have never been to a wedding reception where in addition to a packed dance floor with high energy, there was also a congo line through the room, an energy pit with all guests literally jumping up and down in the middle, and a fun and exciting wedding soul train line. All 270 guests were engaged and on/near the dance floor. Our guests were dancing all night!!
Furthermore, I knew about him when I was in college, but he was then recommended to me by my coworker. To provide more context – I am black, and my coworker is Korean. Think about that – DJ Spynfo is the PERFECT DJ for your event whether you are Black, White, Asian, Latinx, Indian, etc. He will have your dance floor rocking with full energy from start to finish. I am Black (Haitian) and my wife is Latina, and DJ Spynfo skillfully and effectively met our requests for Haitian, Latin, afrobeats, RnB, and hip-hop music. Simply amazing! There was something for everyone at this wedding, which is exactly why everyone danced all night!
Why was he so special?
- He is a true professional; we had a call leading up to the wedding to discuss my needs and expectations for the big day. During dinner, he came to me to check how he was doing – this level of commitment was great to see.
- He was well prepared – he played the exact songs at the right time for ceremony (groom’s entrance, bridesmaids/groomsmen, parents, bride entrance), reception (entrance of parents, bridesmaids/groomsmen, and married couple). Each of the songs I picked had meaning, and he helped bring them to life during our event.
- He hyped everyone up! From our guests to the groomsmen, bridesmaids, and most importantly my wife and I – everyone was in the spirit and ready to party! When you hire Spynfo, you will NOT need another Emcee! His skills as an emcee are just as effective as his skills as a DJ!
At the end of the party, I received compliments on the DJ from everyone – friends, family, groomsmen, bridesmaids, etc. Again – if you want a reception and dance floor that is exciting, energetic, and lively, you must hire this man!

Amazing!!!
Wow! DJSPYNFO/Mr. Matrimony had my wedding turnt up. Everyone young and old was on the dance floor all night. My mom who never dances danced at my wedding. We all had a great time, everyone is still talking about it. The vibes were perfect, I felt like I was back in highschool and college partying. DJSPYNFO felt like family while also being professional from day 1. Don't hesitate to book him for your wedding or event you will not regret it.

It was sooo overwhelming planning our own wedding. Mr. Matrimony catered to our needs, had a wide variety or add ons and entertainment options! My husband and I had an anniversary party with a mixed crowd, He is Puerto Rican and I am Indian. Our BIGGEST concern for the party, was the music! We had waited so long to celebrate with our closest family and friends (due to the pandemic), that we wanted to make sure everyone got to party!! DJ Spyno/Mr. Matrimony was the perfect DJ to help join our Haitian and Trinidadian family. Even though we booked him before the pandemic, changed our wedding date and coordinator he remained consistent and patient. I absolutely loved DJ Spynfo and Mr. Matrimony Ent. The DJ Spynfo sends you a wedding worksheet which includes information on the couple, the ceremony, reception music and moments, and requested songs to play at the wedding. This sheet allows the DJ Spynfo to know what type of music to play, members of the wedding party, and the songs for particular moments such as the first dance, garter retrieval, cake cutting, bouquet toss, any toasts, etc. The DJ called us a few days before the wedding to go over everything on the wedding worksheet (family member names being called, songs being played, and all of songs attached to those key moments). DJ Spynfo and Mr. Matrimony did an awesome job during the ceremony and at the reception. DJ Spynfo and his crew really shines at the reception! Not a dull moment. The DJ kept the party going and made sure everyone was out of their seats. During the toast, there was slight feedback from the microphone and DJ Spynfo quickly adjusted the volume of the microphone to ensure the feedback was at a minimum. Once the adjustment was made the feedback was gone! DJ Spynfo played most of the songs we requested for the party (75%) but when it came to those signature moments DJ Spynfo was right on the money and played what you wanted. DJ Spynfo and Mr. Matrimony Ent. also has a feel of the crowd and plays songs you requested to get people moving! You won't be disappointed at all! I strongly recommend DJ Synfo and Mr. Matrimony Ent. -

DJ Spynfo is a all around great DJ. We wanted him to play for our wedding, but by the time we were ready to book him he was already booked by someone else for the same day.
He is such a good DJ that he is booked super fast.... all the time wow! even though we felt sad we weren’t able to book him for our wedding. He searched high and above to find us another DJ and percussionist who would be a very good fit for us. Guess what!! He was able to deliver. The alternate DJ he found for us was just as good.
All I want to say is thank you Spynfo! Also, thank you for just being available and returning our phone calls and emails, being very punctual, down to earth and very easy to work with. Even though we didn’t get to hire him for our big day we know his work quality was one of the best and we would def look to hire him for another one of our event and recommend him to others! DJ Spynfo was so great to work with! During the pandemic, we changed our wedding date 3x and each time Spynfo was always ready and willing to work with us on the new date. He was very responsive and always available to give us some much needed wedding advice when we asked. He's not just a DJ, he also provides other services--such as live streaming!
Our wedding was amazing! Spynfo was able to get everybody on the dance floor! Our guests cannot stop telling us how much fun they had. His team had great energy and kept the party going! Micro Wedding Dream
Not sure where to start, 2020 has definitely been a trying year for everyone. We were set to get married in April but like many others, we had to postpone. We decided to postpone for September but unfortunately had to cut our guest list to 50 people. We were also told there would be no dancing, " A WEDDING WITHOUT DANCING IS NO WEDDING" lol.
Mr. Matrimony made our 50 guest wedding seem like a 200 guest wedding, he got everyone involved and yes we were able to dance the night away. Not one person stayed sitting down everyone was dancing at their table or on the dance floor. Our night would have never been the same without him. He really turned our micro-wedding into a dream and better than we could have both imagined. We are so glad we booked him and forever grateful. -

When I was planning my wedding, I knew that DJ Spynfo would be our only choice! Not only did we attend St. John’s University together but we have always remained friends over the years. Before my wife and I arrived to the reception, we can hear the party was already jumping and we we're jealous and couldn't wait to get out there. My guests were like, "we were literally on the dance floor as soon as we arrived at the reception, the music was just that good." Our crowd was diverse... I mean we had everyone from the West Indies to Africa to Europe to Asia at our wedding and EVERYONE enjoyed the night DJ Spynfo gave us. We got so many, "that was the best wedding I've ever been to" comments and are still getting them 2 months after. DJ Spynfo kept the crowd engaged, played everything from the good to the hood, and somehow had my Japanese mother in her kimono swag surfing and palancing! He has an amazing ability to read the crowd and knew exactly what to do keep the party going from the beginning to the end. Man he was even in the crowd dancing at some point. DJ Spynfo is GREAT! He made our wedding so much fun!! He knows good music. He knows how to turn up. He knows how to get all ages on the dance floor. He's not only a great DJ but an amazing MC. We didn't have to go from table to table to say hello to everyone, because DJ Spynfo got everybody on the floor!

DJ Spynfo was incredible! I've been meaning to write this review since our wedding on 11/11/19. He brought the house down. He was communicative from the start and answered all of our annoying questions promptly.
We had a great turnout for a Monday (Veterans Day) and there wasn't a person sitting in their seat during the reception. He warmed up our guests with the ice breakers games and they stayed warm the entire time. I was surprised to see people i NEVER see dancing at family events on the dance floor.
He managed to incorporate all of our suggestions while also reading the crowd. If you're shopping for a DJ and he's available on your day I recommend you choose him before someone else does. It's one less thing to worry about. The music will be on point for your special day. Everyone we spoke to said the DJ was great and a few will be calling him when they start planning their special day.
Thanks again, DJ Spynfo. If we're ever in need of a DJ for any other special event you'll be our first call. -

Dj Spynfo aka Mr. Matrimony was on the 1’s & 2’s at our wedding and we were not disappointed! He was punctual, which was a big deal to us. He knew exactly what to play to keep our guests entertained through cocktail hour and right into the reception. There was never a dull moment in the action. He kept our loved ones engaged with fun games; maintained high energy and most importantly, kept our peoples on the dance floor with the right music! My husband and I recently used Mr. Matrimony for our wedding and I cant recommend him enough. I think selecting a DJ for our wedding was the 2nd hardest decision made while putting it together. BUT!!!!! Mr. Matrimony is not only a fantastic DJ, but he is also quick at responding to your questions and concerns and very organized. I never had to ask him for anything twice. We wanted to have a 2nd wedding just to relive the night!! Our destination wedding in Sint Maarten was a long couple days leading up to the Big Day! Best DJ Ever!
I'm so happy my wife and I went with Mr. Matrimony. We did extensive research on every wedding website to find the DJ that would take this memorable day to the next level and Spynfo did just that and more. To this day, people still rave about how awesome our wedding was, how much fun they had, and if we can get married again so they can do it all over again! And we're always asked, "where did you find your DJ?!" Spynfo is the man! My wife and I come from two different cultures and Spynfo was able to bring together two worlds to get them jumpin' on the dance floor to celebrate our love. If I had to do it all over again, I'd choose Spynfo all over again without a doubt. If you want a great wedding DJ that listens to your needs, wants and that delivers, go with Spynfo. If you want to have a memorable wedding day where no one is sitting, everyone is dancing and spinning and having a blast - go with Spynfo. I'll always go to Spynfo for all my DJing needs. Having DJ Spynfo/Mr. Matrimony at our wedding was one of our best decisions. We knew that having the right DJ and MC was important. We spent a lot of time looking for the perfect person, and we found him! He was extremely easy to work with, and helped us put together the best party of our lives. We had high expectations, and he exceeded them easily. Everything seemed so natural and effortless for him as he got everyone out of their seats and on the dance floor all night. Everyone was dancing practically the whole night, and they continued to dance as they left after the wedding! It was such an amazing experience, and it could not have been any better.
DJ Spynfo/Mr. Matrimony was professional, and courteous. He was quick to respond to all correspondence and delivered everything we asked. We could not have been any happier; our family and friends were talking about how great he was all night and the next day! Thank you for making our wedding that much more amazing. DJ Spynfo brought the party. He did a great set for the night. It was soooo appropriate. It kept the party going for everyone in the room. He understood exactly what I wanted and never seemed bothered by my emails Hahaha. The younger guests and the older guest all enjoyed themselves equally. It was the best, best, best. People that don't usually dance were on the dance floor. He worked well with my event planner. He came over to our table to talk to us a bit and took a picture with us outside. He was very present and made the touching moments of the night memorable. Please don't hesitate to book him. He's beyond great. He loves what he does and he's amazing at it. Please reach out to him. We didn't have a tough time picking a DJ because DJ Spynfo/ Mr. Matrimony came highly recommended from so many of our friends. He sure lived up to the hype however the hype didnt start on our wedding day. It was his attentiveness leading up to the event. He really wanted to understand our vibe so he could align with our vision come wedding day. The work he put in pre-wedding really came to life on our wedding day. He absolutely crushed it! Our guests cant stop raving about his energy and how he gracefully commanded the crowds attention with his mc'ing ability. The other takeaway was his ability to work seamlessly with the band that we hired. The way he and the band transitioned between sets embodied "cohesion" at it's finest. I cant thank him enough for over-delivering on our wedding day. My wife and I look forward to recommending him to all of friends and family! -

We got married 3/16/19 at Chateau Briand in LI, NY. Having lived in NY most of my life, I moved to Maryland to be with my fiancé 2017 (we met in 7th grade French class). I told him that my last hooray, our wedding, must be in NY...he agreed!
Groom: We knew Mr. Matrimony came highly recommended. My wife went to SJU with him and knew his awesome reputation. Yet, WE STILL WERE NOT READY for his awesome performance and professionalism as a DJ and Emcee to our wedding! Our guests raved about him all night and folks who never danced were OUT OF THEIR SEATS and on the floor from start to end. Any party we have from now on we’re going to consider Mr. Matrimony. Our baby’s 1st bday gonna be lit!!
Bride: Right after we booked the venue, DJ Spynfo (Mr. Matrimony) was the next call. We went to SJU together and he went from being the campus DJ, to the tristate collegiate DJ, to club DJ, to major radio station DJ and now to wedding DJ. There was only 1 person I could trust to make my vision of a high energy wedding reception come true...Spynfo! Being Grenadian/Jamaican-American with an American groom with southern roots, I didn't know how our guests would get on with each other. Well, I had no need to worry! He surely delivered the energy with creative icebreakers, getting a feel for the audience and catering to the vibes present. From the youngest to the oldest, everyone was moving their feet and their hips, swaying, 2 stepping, surfing, chipping, whining and wobbling! At one point while playing the newly crowned Soca Monarch, Grenadian Mr Killa, song Run Wid It, the chant goes "I want you to pick up something....anything"... next thing I hear is DJ Spynfo start chanting "Pick up the Bride! Pick up the Bride! Pick up the Groom! Pick up the Groom!" Up we went as our guests lifted us both up in chairs jumping up to the beat!!! FIYAHHHHH! When I tell you that my friends and family are still talking about what a grand time they had...mi naaaaah lie!
Thank you so much for listening to our concerns, taking initiative and creating a spectacular atmosphere for the festivities, uniting our loved ones on the dance floor as they celebrated our love!

Destination Wedding In Aruba
Having DJ Spynfo host our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. From the beginning Spynfo was very responsive and professional with all his communications. He sat down with us and discussed in detail the vision of our dream wedding. Having a destination wedding can be very complicated with securing equipment and planning coordinating travel schedule. DJ Spynfo made those task much easier by accommodating to our event schedules and helping us secure equipment (for a reasonable price) on the Island of Aruba.
His energy was felt by both the guest and wedding party throughout the reception. Spynfo has an unbelievable ability to make those around him feel both welcomed and comfortable upon immediately meeting them. He kept everyone on the dance floor the entire time! I would recommend Spynfo to any person or couple looking for a great DJ to host their wedding reception or upcoming event. Our guests are still raving about how great he was. -

So, so good!!
DJ Spynfo & Mr. Matrimony did an amazing job at our wedding!! Our guests had a blast, and they were able to keep ALL of our guests on the dance floor for the entire night! They were extremely knowledgeable and gave us great advice given their experience, and worked with us to get the right music for the mood and crowd. ALL of our guests remarked on how fun the DJ’s were, and how good they were with getting everyone moving. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough!! -

Alicia Sent on 08/06/2018Where do I began speaking about this master party starter? DJ Spynfo gave us everything that we asked for and more. We wanted a blessed ceremony and a party reception. DJ Spynfo made sure that the tone was set for both! He asked for a list of music and everything that we asked to be played he made sure was done, which definitely kept our ceremony and reception in the flow we were looking for. We had a wide range of age groups at our wedding from age 12 - 84 and not one person was sitting in their seats. Everyone was up on the dance floor partying and I was told from everyone that this was the best wedding that they've been too. I've been to other weddings that he has done and i've always been impressed but by far ours was the best. (Just a little bias :-) ) Thank you Spynfo for exceeding all of our expectations and we look forward to using you in the future for other events.

He incorporates a table game to get ppl familiar or comfortable with one another. He and his mcee had complete crowd control and 100% rocked it! Tons of people including staff from the venue expressed how much fun he was and inquired how we found him. He's very charismatic and a real humble guy. Work ethic speaks for itself and pricing is very fair. We'll never use another DJ for any event! -

Must I say my DJ did just that..... Everyone was one the dance floor including us. I forgot that I was wearing my wedding dress because I have having so much. He played the best of the best and I would recommend him to anyone. He's very professional and friendly and I'm so upset that I forgot to take a regular picture with him wearing my dress. I was on the dance floor all night my wedding is a night that I will always remember.

Kristen Sent on 05/29/2018If I could give more stars I would- DJ Spynfo was everything. My husband and I got married on Thursday, 5 days later my family and friends are still talking about our music. First, let me start by saying he’s punctual, for every email or text message sent, Spynfo got back to me within a reasonable time. Second, he’s knowledgeable. We met early in 2017 and discussed the genres of music we’d want, everything we selected he produced at the wedding- and then some, talk about knowing your audience. Getting our guests on the dance floor I thought would be a challenge as we had a wide range in age, Spynfo made that transition easy, everyone had a great time! Lastly, he’s approachable and a people person. There’s nothing worse than having a vendor who is unavailable, unapproachable or downright rude. Without reservation, I recommend Spynfo for ANY event! You will not be disappointed! Thank you again !! -

Finally, I found DJ Spynfo on the WeddingWire and I admit at first I was a bit apprehensive about selecting someone from the internet, we then read all his reviews and everyone spoke so highly of him. When we reached out to him his professionalism was great! He answered every question that we had, I even expressed my concerns to him and he put us at ease. We were sold after we watched his wedding reel and after our initial conversation!
We loved that DJ Spynfo's service didn't even call for to an MC as many companies insisted we must have. He does it alll! He provided the music for not only the reception but also the wedding ceremony! He was entertaining and the music was amazing! He played all the genres of music that we requested and added his own flair! He conferenced with us serval times especially days before the wedding taking precise notation to be sure he got it just right and he did! Some of guests were able to literally let their hair down, others danced the night away! We are so very happy that we used Mr. Matrimony for our August 18, 2017 wedding. We booked him a year before our wedding and everything went seamlessly! He was outstanding! Hands down we would recommend DJ Spynfo, thank you so very much for setting such a great ambiance for our wedding and thank you for you impeccable service. You helped make our wedding so very special!
