Spruce Mountain Ranch was the perfect venue for our wedding! The location gives you incredible mountain views without the hassle of I-70 West, which can be a bit of a dice roll with weather. All of our out-of-town guests were absolutely enamoured with the views, and the evening was absolutely superb. We were at the upper ranch, and we would highly recommend it if it’s available for your wedding!

SMR made the process of preparing for our wedding seamless, and they were always happy to help with any questions we had. We did not have a wedding planner but did use a month-of coordinator (SMR requires at least day of coordination). SMR even had a staffing change when one of their senior staff members retired during our planning process, but they handled the transition seamlessly.

As far as wedding venues in Colorado go, I really think SMR will give you the most bang for your buck, so to speak. The staff and physical space were well worth the money we spent!

It was the greatest night of our lives, and we wouldn’t change a thing!

Spruce mountain is not only an exquisite venue to have your wedding- no matter the size, ( we had a smaller wedding) but the staff was absolutely exceptional! Snow decided to come on our wedding day and they quickly transformed another space for us to have the ceremony! They lead us through this change with love and care!

We had a wonderful experience working with Brus and the full Spruce Mountain team. They think of everything when it comes to logistics, and we didn't have to worry about a thing from the moment we showed up on wedding day until the end of the night.

Our experience touring the venue a year and a half ago, coming back for the Wine & Nosh event, and doing our 30 day walk through all made the planning process so smooth and exciting for us and our families. The multiple ceremony locations are all gorgeous, and we were thrilled to be able to get married mountainside with the natural beauty of Colorado in the background. Our guests loved cocktail hour and the indoor/outdoor dinner & dancing set up. Spruce is truly a 5 star wedding venue because of its natural beauty and the organization/care the team takes in scoping out all the details, like 2 beautiful getting ready suites for the bridesmaids & groomsmen, shuttles to take guests up mountainside, and open air string lights for late night dancing. Spruce is also a popular spot that many of our vendors were familiar with, which made logistics even smoother since our bartenders, caterer, DJ, planner, and florist had all done multiple weddings at Spruce before and had great recommendations on what could work well with our vision.

We hope to come back for future events and are so happy to have gotten married at Spruce!

Spruce Mountain Ranch was perfect for our 9/21/24 wedding! The staff was incredible during the planning and execution of our day! Brus Osborne was amazing to work with from our initial tour in 2022 all the way through our wedding day. Emily Wanderscheid was awesome the day of our event, so kind and helpful! With that said, Spruce Mountain Ranch is our favorite! The staff and the venue are the best! The venue is in a gorgeous setting that is perfect for wedding photos. You get a destination wedding location without driving 3 hours into the mountains. The place is always immaculately clean and has always had everything functioning perfectly. The layout of the property allows both the upper and lower venues to have their own special ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception locations without the two different potential wedding parties on the ranch ever seeing or hearing each other. You get your own massive area to celebrate your day. Both the upper and lower venues are setup to incorporate indoor and outdoor spaces that flow together. If I was planning my daughter’s wedding, I would definitely try to grab the date at Spruce Mountain Ranch. I LOVE SPRUCE! As a wedding planner, I get to work in a lot of places, and Spruce is one of my all time favorites.
From a logistical perspective, they have carefully and thoughtfully places guidelines in place in order to execute some of my best events. All of their staff is so kind knowledgeable, and helpful. They feel a like a warm hug to be around and work with.

We recently worked with Spruce and cannot speak any higher of the venue and the team. The views and facilities are absolutely stunning, and there certainly is no shortage of photo opportunities. The venue fit our theme to a T and the staff was beyond helpful and accommodating! I would recommend them to everyone!

We recently had our wedding at the Upper Ranch at Spruce Mountain Ranch (October 2022) and cannot recommend it enough for your wedding or event. Our experience with Spruce Mountain dates back to late September 2021 when we first reached out to the venue. They were quick to respond and we visited within days. We worked with Brus Osborne as well as a few additional team members - everyone was professional, knowledgeable and made everything feel easy. The Upper Ranch is a one-of-a-kind venue built for weddings. The overall venue is rustic and cozy. The layout is perfect and each space is intentional. We were surprised with some snow so used the Aspen Room for our ceremony which still allowed us mountain views. I loved the statement fireplace for our cocktail hour. The Ponderosa Room is simply breathtaking. They require certain vendors and provide recommendations for other vendors if you ask which I appreciated - there are a million wedding vendors and this narrowed it down. All our vendors were outstanding. The fee was reasonable - especially in comparison with other Denver area venues. I’ve followed Spruce on social media since we booked it for our wedding and I have loved how every wedding is so unique and different, yet Spruce Mountain works with all of them including ours. Cannot recommend enough!!

We recently had our wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch and it was amazing - from start to finish! The ladies were always quick to respond and accommodating, letting us tour the venue whenever we wanted to show our parents, vendors etc. Leading up to the day of they were really organized and flexible with us - which was so appreciated with everything we had going on. It truly is the most STUNNING venue. I think every person at our wedding said at least once it was the most beautiful venue/wedding site they had ever been to or seen. Could not recommend more!

This venue is absolutely beautiful!!! They have an upper and lower ranch, and both have multiple locations you can choose to have your ceremony at. I loved that the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and the dancing all had different locations so our guests were always moving and not stuck in one spot. But you can also make it custom to how you want your day! Spruce Mountain Ranch is a family owned venue, so I felt super comfortable talking to them and I really felt like they cared about making our day so special. :)

The PERFECT Colorado wedding venue! You truly get it all when booking with Spruce Mountain. Epic Colorado landscape, pristine venue with tons of private space, amazing bridal cottage, and an attentive and professional staff. We got married at the Lower Ranch in September and it was perfect. There's a different space for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception which was great, and lots of outdoor/fresh air to enjoy the Colorado beauty! Out of town guests were blown away with the beauty of the venue and from start to finish working with Tara and her staff was easy and fun. They truly love what they do there and make their couples feel special and taken care of! Best decision ever booking this venue!!!

When we first toured Spruce, we knew it was the place for us! It is so beautiful and unique, and definitely has that ‘Colorado’ feel. We loved that we could utilize both the indoor and outdoor spaces, and that guests had multiple places to hang out. Couldn’t imagine a better place to have a wedding!

Absolutely a picturesque backdrop for our September wedding. Spruce Mountain Ranch (SMR) is a combination (balance) of comfortable and intimate. SMR venue quickly rose to the very top of our list for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. If you are serious about a place that accommodates your style and personality, SMR is an excellent venue. We selected the Lower Ranch (Albert’s Lodge, Colorado Room, Ames Patio and Grace’s Chapel) for our wedding and it was immaculate and perfect for our guests. You need to do a little work in finding vendors but it is worth the time and energy to create your special wedding. We are in our 50s and confident in our ability to make selections on caterers/beverages, entertainment, and décor; however, an event coordinator is also required for, at minimum, day-of the event and we are happy that we selected one especially as we were planning our wedding during the initial COVID months.
The SMR staff is efficient in responding to emails and provided as much information as possible. We planned for more than a year and everything to include the weather, executed to near perfection. The venue staff was ready and prepared with everything to include setup, sanitation stations, and cleanup. Our guests commented about how stunning the location is and how the staff ensured compliance with COVID requirements while allowing guests to feel safe and healthy throughout the day into the evening. We are grateful to Tara and her staff for the many ways that you made our wedding day the most special event of our lives.

We knew that the venue was absolutely the most important thing when planning a wedding. We knew we wanted an outdoor wedding to enjoy Colorado mountains and scenery, for our mountain theme wedding. We scheduled many tours of other venues, but as soon as we stepped foot on the property, we knew it was the one. Skyler was our tour guide and she was so friendly and helpful in answering all of our questions. She showed us both the upper ranch and the lower ranch, and all of the ceremony sites, cocktail hour, reception areas, the bridal cottage, the grooms lounge, and even the chairs for reception! She went over the location of things like where the DJ sets up to where the bar is set up, to where to catering set us up. This really helped give us a vision of how things would look day of. This place really has everything together and we really liked that this venue had a lot of things that you don’t need to worry about like chairs and tables (for both ceremony and reception), an area for the caterer to set up, a built in bar, and a dedicated dance floor. The natural chairs they had we thought were so beautiful that we knew we didn’t need any chair covers or chair sashes. We went ahead and put a date on hold right then because we knew that this venue was perfect for us. We chose to hold our wedding at the lower ranch. At the lower ranch you can choose to have your ceremony at Grace’s Chapel, which is outdoors by a large tree near the cocktail hour and reception space, or indoors in the reception space (which is still absolutely beautiful with the fireplace and the mantle), Or the mountainside site. We chose the mountainside site for our ceremony. This site is up on the hill and overlooks beautiful scenery with mountains in the background. The cocktail hour was in the Colorado Room, which is an indoor/outdoor area that has a lodge feel with a patio for mingling. Our reception was in the Albert’s Lodge, which is absolutely stunning. This has a mountain lodge/cabin feel and there is wood everywhere, and has a large mantle and fireplace. It is a huge space. The dance floor is adjacent and it is outside, with large garage doors adjoining for a partial indoor/outdoor space for the reception as well. When guests arrive there are shuttles to take them up to the ceremony site. After the ceremony, guests follow the path down through the property and beautiful landscaping to cocktail hour. Then they walk right next door for the reception. We liked that there was designated spaces for everything, but yet everything flowed. The Bridal cottage is so nice! There is kitchen space, living room space, and a getting ready space with mirrors, lighting, and natural lighting as well. The grooms lounge can be a cigar lounge with the filtration system, and has a pool table and some furniture and bar area to hang out in. This ranch is also a working cattle ranch so you can see cows in the property in the distance (and makes it that much cooler). There are also two ponds on property. Another reason why we really liked this property is because pictures are super important to us and we knew there would be lots of great opportunities for beautiful pictures. We knew we had to schedule another appointment to bring our families to see it. Our families instantly fell in love with the venue as we did and said they definitely approved. Every single thing about this venue is miles above other venues we toured in terms of beauty and quality. We have had great communication with the venue and every time we have called or emailed Tara, she has responded the same day. Everyone there is completely invested in you and your day, and will do whatever it takes to make that happen. The upper ranch ceremony site is absolutely beautiful, however, we loved the reception space better at the lower ranch and ultimately chose that since the upper ranch didn’t have that same lodge feel. Know that potentially there could be two weddings going on at the same time, however the upper and lower ranch are so spread out since the property is huge that you would never even know. When you drive in there are chalkboards that direct you to the right area to park. Also know that this is a venue that requires certain vendors (for food, alcohol, and rentals). At first we viewed this as a negative, as some of these vendors are a littler on the more pricey side, but in the end, we actually really appreciated that. These vendors are high quality and know what they are doing. They are trustworthy, reliable, and have been to the venue many times before. Since many things are spread out and separated, knowing the layout of the venue is a huge deal. We made sure every single one of our vendors had been to the ranch before, before we booked them. With the ranch having a great relationship with these vendors, it actually made for a smoother day and a really high quality experience. This venue is a little on the more expensive side than other venues we were looking at, but we knew that the venue was most important to us, and that this was the one, so we were willing to compromise and spend less in other areas. When we came for our 30 day walkthrough, Tara was so friendly and made us so excited for our wedding! She was willing to do whatever it takes to make sure our day was perfect, including things like turning on the fire place even though it was July because we liked it for our theme and ambiance. When we toured the venue, it was hard for us to believe that anyone would have their wedding anywhere else but here! Every single guest we had commented on how this was the prettiest, and nicest venue they have ever been to and made it one of their favorite weddings to attend! Even when we would tell our other vendors that our venue was Spruce Mountain Ranch, they would always tell us that they enjoy working there, that it’s so beautiful, and it’s one of the nicest and highest quality venues they have ever worked with. On the day of, Kyla was our property manager for the day. When we arrived she warmly greeted us and introduced herself. She made sure we had her number in case anything came up. She was all around the venue helping in any way she could including set up and clean up. The ONLY complaint we had was that it looked like there were some gopher holes at the ceremony site, and so some with heels just had to watch their step at the rehearsal and ceremony (don’t worry, nobody tripped). This could have been due to the fact that the venue wasn’t used for a few months before our wedding due to gathering restrictions. Be aware that there are train tracks in the distance of the venue. On both of our tours, a train did go by and it was a noticeable noise. On the day of the wedding however there was no train. Otherwise, this venue absolutely made our wedding the most perfect day ever and we can’t thank Skyler, Tara, and Kyla enough for their help leading up to and on the big day. The venue was the highlight of the wedding and we couldn’t be happier with how things turned out. This venue is absolutely perfect in so many ways and has everything we have ever wanted in a venue. To anyone who is looking for a venue that is a mix of indoors and outdoors, with absolutely beautiful scenery, and lots of different spaces to spread out, this venue is for you! I would highly highly highly recommend this venue to any bride of any kind. I can’t say enough good things about this venue and we are so happy that we found this venue and chose it for our big day!

I have no words for this venue other than phenomenal! The location and scenery is unmatched. Tara and her staff were amazing to work with. If I could do it again, I would choose this venue over and over! We had the perfect day!

As my husband says when we walked in for our tour of Spruce Mountain, I couldn't stop smiling. "There was no where else we needed to look." And he was not wrong. Spruce Mountain had that rustic elegance with an absolutely beautiful view. I love that everything was in one location so that it was a seamless transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. Tara at Spruce Mountain was extremely helpful, responsive, and a joy to chat with! She was timely in answering questions and emails and also very flexible in allowing for additional visits during the planning process. The only thing I would have done differently is requested more hours to spend there!

This venue is incredible. Its beauty is undeniable, and the staff (shout out to Brus) was super helpful throughout the process (even when a fresh blanket of ice forced us into a last minute audible to the patio, which was still stunning). Can't recommend enough.

They provide a great list of vendors to choose from, and offer great options for venue locations. The place is equipped with all you need to have a beautiful outdoor wedding. And, in the event of any inclement weather, there are plenty of options that will still allow you to have the wedding of your dreams!

We had our destination wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch and it was breathtaking. Everything we wanted and more. The ceremony was held at Trey's Vista and the reception dinner took place in the Courtyard. The facility is beautiful and the staff was easy to work with. Planning a wedding from out of state can be challenging, but Spruce Mountain staff made it as easy as possible. No detail was left undone and our day was perfect.

The venue was beautiful, ready to accommodate us on our day, clean, and absolutely so stunning for guests. We believe this was one of the best investments we made for our special day. Although it poured rain, it didn't take away from the beautiful venue for everyone attending.

Choosing Spruce Mountain Ranch for our wedding was probably the best choice we made in the planning process. We were planning a small wedding. We wanted it outdoors and secluded, but comfortable and classy. Once we saw the ranch we knew that was it. We had our ceremony at Grace’s Chapel, then used the Colorado Room and Ames’ Patio for the reception. Tara and the rest of the staff at Spruce Mountain make their couples their top priority. When we initially toured the ranch Tara told us they aim to make the wedding experience worry free for their couples and they absolutely do. They go above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect...and it was! Our guests were blown away with how beautiful everything was and we were so happy with every detail!

My fiancé and I had always dreamed of having a winter wedding, and Spruce Mountain was the perfect location. All of our guests came in from out of town and couldn't stop gushing about the venue: the ranch, the Colorado Room, the outdoor fireplace, Albert's Lodge, and more. The staff was so very helpful from the very beginning and they worked hard to make our vision become a reality. They required that we work with Peak Beverage (who was AMAZING) and that we select from one of eight caterers. Honestly, we appreciated having a smaller set of vendors / partners to choose from! The process can otherwise become so overwhelming. We couldn't have picked a better venue!

We loved having our special day at Spruce Mountain Ranch! After touring multiple venues, we knew that this was where we wanted to be at! I grew up on a ranch in SD and loved that we were able to get married at such a beautiful location with cattle! Family and friends raved about the venue and the stunning views. Everything was perfect!

SO many people who attended our wedding in July of 2018 told us it was a wedding they will never forget! It was the most beautiful day with little to no effort on my part....I was able to get ready and enjoy myself before the ceremony, while all of the Spruce Mountain staff made my vision into a reality. Amazing venue and staff! We got married August 2018 on the mountainside near Albert's Lodge. The groom suite and Ruby's cottage are SO amazing for getting ready. All our bridesmaids and groomsmen loved the space. Our guests loved the venue too! Very Colorado and rustic, which is exactly why we chose Spruce Mountain. Tara was helpful throughout the entire planning process. We are thankful to have had the opportunity to get married here! What a beautiful and memorable day. I have no regrets that this was the perfect choice for a venue.

My daughter and son-in-law had a picture perfect wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch in September 2018. Our group of 220 took over the upper ranch and we had all the space -- and more -- that we needed. The venue is ideal, whether the weather is blue bird Colorado sky -- as it was for us! -- or inclement and you need to move indoors. The staff cater to your every need and are quick to fix any issues if they arise. (When the bridal party arrived the morning of our wedding we discovered the water wasn't running, but the staff moved quickly to get it restored.) All the vendors we hired told us how much they like working at SMR so that tells you a lot about what a great place it is. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend SMR to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding venue that is run with the utmost professionalism.

Such an incredibly beautiful venue. They were fabulous to work with & responsive to how we wanted the day to go. Beautiful outside space for the ceremony and contingency space in case it rained. Couldn't have been more happy with having our wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch!

Spruce Mountain Ranch was a great venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. We had our wedding at the upper ranch in the Ponderosa room. It was so spacious and already beautifully decorated by the venue we didn't need to add much to make it look amazing. Brus was very helpful leading up to our wedding day. I cannot say enough great things about Spruce Mountain. From the quality and professionalism of the staff to the beauty of the venue, it is truly first class from start to finish. I booked this property without even having a full 'site visit' since I live in another state and planned my wedding as a destination wedding. When I did get there for my full tour several months later, I was blown away at the beauty! All throughout my planning Tara and the staff were so responsive to all of my requests for recommendations (and each one were spot on, btw) and questions from my slide show to the weather. I ended up having a fairytale wedding at Spruce with a fabulous vendor selection, all recommended by Tara. Spruce is beautiful and simply comes to life even more when guests are there and the event is taking place. I will cherish the memories forever and am grateful for the ease and comfort that Spruce gave me every step of the way while planning my wedding from a distance. Thank you SMR!!

Spruce Mountain Ranch is an optical illusion. We looked at several wedding venues and selected Spruce Mountain as the place to create our family memories. Now that the event is over I look back and imagine the wedding in the other venues we considered. None of them would have come close to the atmosphere, beauty, class and level of service we experienced with SMR. The wedding pictures came out today and they are absolutely stunning, indoor and outdoor settings. The upstairs area for the Bride and Bridesmaid to prepare has separate makeup rooms with open windows that look out to the event space. This was magical. As the ladies prepped for the day they could see the vendors setting up the event below and everything coming together before their eyes. It does not get any better in terms of build up, excitement and all day immersion leading up to the most important point in two peoples lives. Thank you Spruce Mountain Ranch, we will be back with more "children".

An absolutely beautiful and perfect Colorado venue! Everything has been thought of, everyone we worked with was very professional and no question was ridiculous! Brus is such a pleasure to work with, she responds to questions, etc almost as soon as the message is sent! She was very helpful on finding the right vendors to work with. Made the planning go very smooth. Skyeler was amazing on the day of the wedding--she was very approachable, very helpful and always had a smile on her face. Spruce Mountain Ranch was the best decision ever! Our wedding was at the Upper Ranch (Trey's Vista + Ponderosa Room). We fell in love on our first visit, but seeing all of your details come to life in combination with SMR's scenery and venue is just amazing. We had multiple guests tell us our wedding was "magical" and that is largely because of SMR! This was a destination wedding, and Brus was quick to respond to all questions. We really felt taken care of throughout the entire process and on our big day -- cannot say enough good things about this venue. If you want your guests to be wowed... choose SMR!

Choosing Spruce Mountain Ranch for our wedding was one of the best choices we made! With many family members coming to Colorado for the first time, we wanted our guests to experience the true feel of the outdoors without having the trouble of driving through the extensive mountain switchbacks. Choosing Spruce Mountain Ranch for our wedding venue was the best choice we made for our wedding. Not only did the venue provide spectacular views, but it was kept absolutely pristine. We fell in love the second we pulled onto the property! We had the pleasure of working closely with Tara to organize the details around our ceremony at Grace's Chapel and reception in Albert's Lodge, and she made everything seem so effortless. On the day of our wedding, we had two Spruce Mountain Ranch staff members on site who helped to ensure the event was running smoothly. I’m so happy we chose Spruce Mountain Ranch for our wedding venue! We spent a long time trying to find a place that would accommodate all of our needs, and Spruce was the only one that could do it! It’s such a breathing-taking and beautiful site with lots of ceremony options. Tara and the rest of her staff were so helpful and accommodating. Our wedding day would not have been as perfect as it was if it hadn’t been for Spruce! We highly recommend them to any bride and groom looking for a beautiful venue and reception site and awesome people to work with.

We booked Spruce Mountain Ranch with 30 days to go before our wedding because our wedding would no longer fit our backyard. The staff was awesome! We were really in a bind and they helped us out. Even better, the site was stunning! Beautiful views, professional day-of-event staff, and fantastic photo locations. The Colorado Room and Albert's Lodge were perfect!

Spruce Mountain Ranch is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Colorado. The natural rustic beauty made it so easy to fall in love with this location. When you visit, you don't want to leave. It takes you away from the busy hustle and bustle of everyday life while you're there. The venue is a working cattle ranch with a separate guest ranch. They host weddings at both locations. We got married on the mountain side of the guest ranch. Tara helped us with recommendations for all the vendors we needed and made the planning very easy. There is a lot of flexibility there. They provided transportation to help move our guests from the parking lot to the mountain side location. The walk through the day before was very helpful so everyone in our wedding party knew where to be and when. We held our cocktail hour at the Colorado Room which couldn't have been a more perfect place. The indoor/outdoor space is breath taking. It made for an easy transition to move guests to the outdoor dance floor next to Albert's Lodge for bridal party introduction and our first dance. We then held our dinner reception inside of Albert's Lodge with dancing outdoors on the patio. The open air was so nice for dancing. We also made use of the bridal cottage and cigar room that day. The staff was professional and responsive and helped me with all my details. We had our guests stay at hotels in the Park Meadows Area and rented a charter bus so no one had to drive if they didn't want to. I'd highly recommend this venue to anyone. Call early as it will book up quickly for summer weddings!

Spruce Mountain Ranch was the perfect venue for our daughter's wedding. Tara was especially helpful in facilitating the event--she had suggestions and guided us through the process as we planned the day--being new to Colorado, her help was greatly appreciated. SMR is a popular venue, but we felt like the only/most important family at the ranch. They do an amazing job at making it feel personal and special and all yours. We wouldn't change a thing about the day--Spruce Mountain made it perfect!!

We looked at SO many venues in Colorado near the mountains and I don't have a single regret about booking Spruce Mountain Ranch. It was certainly expensive, but it was worth it! I worked with Brus and she was so responsive, even answering a quick question I had via email on New Year's Eve (not that I expected her to!) and always answering her phone—which was so important for me since I was planning this wedding from Seattle. And when we showed up for rehearsal the morning before and the grass was overgrown and there was new fencing put up that I didn't like, she straightaway got the grass mowed and taken care of and spoke to the owners about the fencing (it used to be a wide open meadow and the fencing made it feel more closed in, I know they took my comments to heart and have since added some trees to block out some of the fencing). Brus even had recommendations for vendors when I needed it. The only thing I wish they would change is their exclusive contract with Peak Beverage for the bar... Not having options means it's harder to get a good price from Peak. Though they did already have some great options they didn't have the kind of flexibility I wanted, and it wasn't like I could say I would go to another vendor if they didn't help me out—because they knew I couldn't use any other vendor! Overall, though, everything turned out beautifully and our guests were so impressed.

Just WOW. I knew my wedding day could be lovely, but I just never dreamed it could be as lovely as it turned out to be. This was in no small part due to the backdrop of Spruce Mountain Ranch (SMR) and the kindness, support, and professionalism of Tara Ames, Erin Mondragon, and Skyeler Sheveland - my SMR girls!! Once arriving at the ranch, it's clear that the scenery and setting is beyond breathtaking. However, it is the PEOPLE that make the ranch what it is. Tara gave me vendor recommendations and always answered my questions kindly and quickly, even when she was out of the country. Erin helped identify a solution to a vendor problem, having only ever met me once and giving me the most needed hug when the problem seemed unmanageable. Skyeler helped put all the details in order and kept everything running smoothly - she even told me to stop cleaning up at the reception and get out of my dress and dancing shoes. I have never felt more loved or supported! The SMR girls feel like family to me, and I knew how much they wanted my day to go off without a hitch. I cannot thank them enough for being part of my day!

Beyond that, the value you get at SMR is beyond compare. From a cost perspective, you get one of the cheaper site fees in the Denver metro area and you get more than your money's worth for that: an adorable cottage to get ready in; a built-in backup location for rain; the ranch all to yourself; chairs and tables; and an on-site contact to help keep everyone and everything in order. The Ranch even has a hotel and transportation deal with the Inverness Hotel and the Marriott Park Meadows, so everything is taken care of in and in one place! We also rented out Ruby's Cottage for an extra two hours so that we had time to relax and get our makeup done. The SMR girls are so accommodating, so loving, and so helpful.

Truly, there is no other choice for a wedding venue if you want a memorable day filled with beauty, laughter, and love!

This was the absolute perfect wedding venue! The staff was amazing to work with, they were very professional, responsive and helpful during the whole process. The venue it's self if beautiful and hardly needs any decorations. The groom's room and bridal room were so spacious and perfect to get ready in. We also saved a lot of money going with this venue because we could bring our own alcohol. We would happily recommend this venue to anyone!

Spruce Mountain Ranch was the perfect venue for our daughter's wedding reception (
The wedding ceremony was in our church). It perfectly captured the "rustic elegant" theme we wanted. Guests flowed from the indoor dancing to the outdoor s'mores. We had 306 guests from babies to grannies and it was just perfect for ALL of our friends and family. Couldn't be happier!

Spruce Mountain Ranch was the perfect location for our daughters wedding! The majority of the guests were traveling from out-of-state and the couple wanted a "Colorado wedding." We knew it wasn't practical to take people to the high country for many reasons, and SMR was the ideal location to give our guests a true Colorado experience. The views are lovely, the atmoshpere is nothing short of spectacular. It was very intimate and the ranch made the day and everything about it very very special. We are so grateful to Tara and her family for making Spruce Mountain available to us.

We had a truly stunning holiday wedding at SMR. Our ceremony was down in Albert's and reception was in Ponderosa. Both venues were totally transformed. Not to mention, the SMR team lights up a number of trees around the holidays, making it ideal for a Christmas wedding.

My daughter and husband just had her wedding ceremony and reception at Spruce Mountain in November. If you are looking for a true Denver home feel this is the place. From the moment we met with Tara in January until the day of the wedding in November - she was great to work with, giving ideas, providing guidance, and so much excitement. Family and friends can't say enough about how great the venue was as it truly made you feel so warm and had that "at home" feeling. Adding snow was a special touch too! You could't go wrong with having any event at Spruce Mountain no matter what time of year it is.

This is a spectacularly beautiful setting for a wedding! The arrangement of the venue is very conducive to a natural flow from the ceremony to cocktails to the dinner reception. Our bride was very concerned that rain might spoil the day but they had a great backup plan and it worked out beautifully! We found Spruce Mountain after an exhaustive search for a natural setting that wasn't too far into the mountains. We had a lot of guests coming from sea level and didn't want them all to get altitude sickness. It turned out to be not only the best place locally, but of all the places we looked at it was the best. They worked with us on the date they recommended the greatest caterer and everything went so smoothly! It is a great representation of the beauty of Colorado, which was perfect for our guests who came from Australia, England, Sweden, Netherlands etc. We loved everything and although you always expect something to go wrong at a wedding, nothing did.
