Spring Brook Resort Reviews

We had our wedding and ceremony at Spring Brook in September, and also stayed in their cabins for the weekend. I was able to keep in contact with Anne, the site's wedding planner, for everything from the timeline to the food choices. She was very knowledgable and helpful with our decision making. Spring Brook has several food and bar options for the weddings they host. We were able to meet Anne for our food tasting, and to look at pictures from previous weddings to go over lighting, linens, etc. Before the wedding, Anne and her team set up the ceremony site and reception area. The only thing I had to do the day of was put the centerpieces together on the tables, and add any decorations to the ceremony site. Anne directed everything and was in constant contact with her team during the day. After the ceremony, one of the employees led the wedding party on golf carts to various spots for pictures. He was very helpful, and listened to what the photographers were looking for. Their food is amazing! We had pulled pork, chicken cordon bleu, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and a vegetable melody. At one point during the reception we had one bartender, but Anne helped him keep up with the orders. Anne really was amazing and helpful! I'm so glad she was there to help!
For the cabins, we stayed in the Stoney Chalet, and other family members stayed in the Champagne Chalet. Both cabins were beautiful and spacious. We loved having kitchen utensils there for us, and having so much space to hang out with so many people before the wedding. Both cabins were very clean and well taken care of.

Spring Brook worked out very well for the rehearsal dinner. We had a private dining area. There were 6 different meal options for our guests to choose from. The service was fast for the large party that we had and it was on a Friday night which can be busy. Good value of meals and I was happy with the taste of my dinner as well. It did take quite a long time to get the bill since it was complicated (around 25 people).

The absolute worst wedding I have ever attended. Food was awful, They brought out the food each plate covered. I could tell that something was wrong because they lifted some of the covers and took all the food back. They announced that there would be a delay in serving the food, 1 hour later they came back with the food on the carts and all were uncovered. I think they screwed up and prepared the food in a microwave because the chicken was as big as a robins breast, looks like they didnt have enough breasts so they cut each breast in half, the potatoes were the small diced breakfast potatoes, about 30 pieces, the carrots were tiny and about 8 pieces. The food had no taste and very cold. Everybody that I talked to felt the same. It was a very hot day and they only had 2 fans blowing so everybody was sweating. When asked to get more fans, they said that's all we have. Do yourself a favor and go spend your money somewhere else. And no there was no compensation for the lousy food, the wait, and the whole experience.
