Beautiful Tropical Wedding Florals

Most amazing florist to work with. It was so easy to connect with Tara from the very beginning. It didn’t take much to explain/share what we had in mind for our florals. Tara was super easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. She was able to bring our vison to life and really listened to what we were looking for. Tara is an incredible floral artist and visionary!

Our wedding planner recommended Tara to us based upon the vibes that we were going for for our wedding and Tara took everything we talked about and went for it. Our flowers were absolutely stunning. From the personal bouquets my bridal party and I had, to the flowers on our chuppah, and our centerpieces it was all absolutely beautiful and breathtaking and everything that we could have dreamed of. She was also so accommodating when I forgot about corsages for my MIL and GMIL and about petals for the flower girl. She was truly a gem and I also really appreciate her sustainable practices in how she does floral arrangements. My husband and I didn't have a "green" wedding wedding but we wanted to be as environmentally friendly as possible without compromising the aesthetic choices that we wanted to make and Tara was perfect for that since she tries to only use local in season blooms. Thank you for making our special day so absolutely beautiful!

Speechless 😍

Tara is a DREAM florist. She was a vendor I found a bit before our engagement and wedding but knew I wanted for our special day. As soon as our planning started, I reached out to her hoping she had the availability. Flowers were one of the main features I wanted to focus on for our wedding and she KILLED it. I knew what vibe I wanted to go for and what features I wanted, but the flowers and accents I wanted to be surprised by. From the installation over our head table, to the bouquets, table settings, accents, and bud vases, we were left absolutely speechless. Tara went above and beyond and we are so happy she could be such a huge part of our day. Our guests were blown away by her work just as much as we were. I will recommend her to everyone I know!!

A dream come true

We cannot express our gratitude enough for the absolutely unreal work Tara created for our wedding day. The florals were the most important element of the day for me what Tara gave us was beyond my wildest dreams. There are truly no words to describe how grateful I am that she was a part of our day. I am in absolute awe of the talent of Tara and her team.

I am going to be dreaming about the sweetheart installation and the bouquets for the rest of my life. The tables were literal perfection. I have seen hundreds of weddings in my career and literally nothing will compare to what she did. Every single person was in amazement over what was created and I will literally be shouting from the rooftops that there is truly only one floral designer any couple should consider.

Tara seriously made my wedding vision come true and I am forever grateful. She is truly one of a kind and we are so lucky to have worked with her.

The most beautiful florals EVER!

I cannot recommend Tara enough for your wedding florals!!! She was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. When I had my initial call with her, I didn't know how to put into words my vision for our wedding florals but it felt like Tara just knew exactly what I wanted and I trusted her ideas from the beginning! I followed Tara on Instagram before booking with her, so I knew what great work she did and I was SO excited to see what she was going to do for our wedding. Tara left me speechless (I was actually like freaking out in excitement) when I got to the venue on our wedding day and saw her arrangements. I knew her work was exceptional but OMG she exceeded our expectations times a million. I still cannot believe the beautiful work she put together and we received SO many compliments from our guests!!! Tara is Amazing

Tara is a rockstar! Because I know I didn't give Tara the best direction of what I wanted, I was a little nervous and unsure of what to expect. I was absolutely blown away by my florals the day of my wedding and got so many compliments from my guests. I had a vision in my head that I know for a fact I didn’t do a great job of articulating to Tara. I decided to just trust her and know that they would be amazing no matter what. I am so glad I did, not only was everything amazing, but it was EXACTLY what I wanted. Every centerpiece was stunning. My bouquet was perfect. I wish they could have lasted forever. Tara is incredibly talented and I am so appreciative of her hard work during such a difficult time, especially her dedication to maintaining local and sustainable practices.

Absolutely amazing!

I do not have enough words to express how much I love Tara's work. Tara's talent and creativity are unmatched. My jaw dropped when I saw the way the room looked after Tara worked her magic. It was breathtaking. She hung greenery from the ceiling throughout the entire room, which was no easy task. She spent nearly all day on a ladder to do so. And the actual floral arrangements were stunning. To this day people still mention how beautiful our florals were. Tara will not waste your time, she provided me with a quote within hours of chatting with her. She answered my emails in a timely fashion. She is straight to the point and as a bride I truly appreciated that. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with her.

We had the most wonderful experience working with Tara at Splints and Daisies for our wedding at Terrain. Tara has such a talent for working with florals and provided the absolute most beautiful set up I could have imagined. The process with working her was so seamless. Flower Magic

I didn’t have a particularly detailed vision of our wedding flowers, so the best thing I did was hire Tara. You can rest assured that no matter what she does, it will be magical. I put the most impactful décor of my wedding into her capable hands and she more than delivered. She was honest about what flowers (and greens!) cost, and helped me figure out how to get the most bang for my buck. When our table situation changed a few weeks before the wedding, she was flexible and solution-oriented. I’d hire her again tomorrow.

Beyond my ideal vision

Tara was a dream and SO easy to work with. She was so receptive to my vision and her creativity made my day beyond perfect. People RAVED about my flowers, especially her beautiful installation. Stunning Flowers

I can not recommend Tara enough. She was beyond professional, helpful and patient. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted from the beginning but ended up making some changes a couple months before the wedding. She always replied promptly to all my emails and was very flexible. Tara took my vision and made it more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. She really is an artist. I still cannot get over the details of my bouquet. Choosing her will be one of the best decisions you make.

Unreal, magical and the best of the best.

I am still speechless over my wedding flowers. Tara took my vision and made it more beautiful than I could have ever possibly imagined. She truly is an artist and a florist combined and my day wouldn't have been as perfect as it was if it wasn't for her. So many guests came up to my husband and I and told us the flowers were the most beautiful they have ever seen and we agree! Tara completely transformed our venue into a magical, enchanting, bohemian dream. I can't recommend her enough and several of our guests who are getting married in 2020 wanted her contact info and reached out to her before our wedding was even over. Stop thinking about it and hire Splints & Daisies. It'll be the best decision you make, besides marrying your soulmate. :)

Mother freaking nature

We were going for an enchanted forest theme and HOLY CANNOLI did Tara deliver. My mom casually mentioned she wanted the place to be "dripping" in flowers and Tara delivered in the most spectacular way. She made us a gorgeous flower archway of our dreams, hung greenery from the rafters, did a ridiculous fireplace piece, and made the most gorgeous nests of greenery and flowers for the tables. The bouquets and boutonnieres were divine. I don't have words for how gorgeous she made our venue. It was plain and open before she arrived and she blew the roof off the place with floral decor. The best part is that I barely had to give her direction, she has amazing style and knows exactly what flowers will look best. Put your wedding in her hands and you will not regret it for a second. She is the absolute best.

Amazing Floral Artistry

Tara of Splints & Daisies is a true floral artist! Give her an idea of what you like and she brings it to life beyond what you could have imagined. From our first meeting, my husband and I felt totally comfortable with her. She is super friendly and down-to-earth. We talked about flowers we liked and brought a Pinterest board of the vibe we were interested in, but we put full trust in Tara to do her thing. Going into our wedding day, we loved that we would get to be surprised by all the florals and it was more beautiful than we could have imagined! My bouquet was a gorgeous floral statement, free flowing with wildflowers and a large protea as the wow factor. We had discussed doing something special and different for my husband being in the plant science industry, and she created the most epic floral bowtie with real flowers and in our wedding colors. From the bouquets to the centerpiece garlands with flowers to the boutonnieres and pomanders, everything was stunning! She even had some beautiful flowers that were able to be used in my hair and really completed my bridal look. And flowers for our cake that were the perfect compliment. Tara's style accentuates nature's beauty and we loved that she also focuses on bringing you the best local flowers and using green methods that reduce waste. Our guests still to this day over a year later bring up how beautiful all of our flowers were, especially how cool the floral bow tie was! Tara was SO awesome to work with and we ecstatically recommend her!!!

Absolutely breath taking. My husband and I wanted very classic, elegant, and romantic floral for our Wedding. We liked mostly white, baby pink with a hint of gray or blue. On the long rectangular table tops with had a blue runner that Tara lined with simple monochromatic flowers. They did a breathtaking Moon Gate for us and a hanging 6' ring above the head table.... It was incredible. My husband worked with Robertson's for years and his standards are super high. He even wanted to pick out the Bouquet for me and worked (somehow) with Tara on that. Tara, you KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK. We are still so pleased and love looking at photos of your beautiful work. Every thing you did was perfect. Thank you!

I can't say enough how much I loved the flowers at our wedding. Tara was wonderful to work with from our first phone consultation to the final delivery of the flowers. We live three hours from where we got married, but Tara made everything run smoothly. She was great at listening to what we wanted, and we completely trusted her in using her judgement for the floral arrangements. Her flowers were bright, beautiful and gorgeously arranged. Tara was amazing to work with and I could not recommend her enough. We got married in August at The Cork Factory Hotel in Lancaster, PA and from the first call we knew Tara was the perfect fit. She was so knowledgeable about the venue and willing to work with out budget. She is super attentive and perceptive and was able to take our pinterest boards and conversations and make our dreams a reality. She gave great suggestions and was open to all of our ideas. The bouquets and hanging floral arrangement from a ladder as our alter exceeded our expectations. I would tell anyone to book her without hesitation and am already looking for another reason to use her!

We just had my daughters wedding in Lancaster. Being we live over 3 hours away, its hard to get a hands on approach to it. Tara was amazing. I put my complete trust in her, and she far exceeded my expectations!! She was very helpful in planning this wonderful day. Her arrangements were simply stunning!! These accents can make or break a party, and the ones Tara gave us were the perfect touch in our beautiful venue. Tara could not have been more patient with us. We had a bit of a guest crisis like 3 weeks before the wedding - half our guests were unable to make it... and then another one a week later (when suddenly more people COULD make it)! We were scrambling trying to figure out how to make it work! But Tara worked with us wonderfully, and in the end, everything was lovely. When we first got engaged, our venue in Harrisburg recommended her immediately, and I am so glad. Thank you!

Tara at Splints & Daisies was incredible to work with. I don't know a whole lot about flowers, I wasn't even sure what the pricing was in the wedding floral world. Tara helped me with an initial budget and then we expanded where I thought necessary. She was very easy to work with and I couldn't wait to see what she would create; I just wanted to leave it in her hands with a few suggestions from me. When I finally saw the centerpieces, it was my exact vision brought to life! It was woodsy and whimsical and refined and I wish I could have kept one of them as well. When the bouquets and flower crowns arrived I teared up. I had wanted mostly green and white with pops of yellow and blue, with a wildflower feel. She hit the nail on the head! Everything was gorgeous, I am forever in love with my floral crown and have preserved it so I can keep it forever. Even my bridesmaids are doing the same! I had a vision of Marie Antoinette in her gardens at Versailles, picking flowers and creating flower crowns and bouquets and that's exactly what I got. The only downside to not living in the same area as my wedding is that I can't use Splints & Daisies for everything. I loved working with a local, small business owner with local flowers. My wedding day was a dream and would have been incomplete without her gorgeous greenery and flowers. I'd recommend them over and over again.

Tara and her team were absolutely phenomenal!! She took the basic ideas we had in our minds and absolutely ran with them, creating a beautiful rustic yet romantic feel to all of the florals for our bridal party and our reception venue. She was extremely prompt with all of her communication and was available to answer any of the odd questions we came up with. We loved that she’s also an avid hiker and nature lover, since those passions so obviously were apparent in her beautiful creations. We’ve already recommended her to a number of other couples getting married in the area, and we’ll continue to send people her way for years to come!

Tara was so willing to accommodate all of my requests. She incorporated the paper flowers I had made into my bouquets, bouts, and centerpieces. The flowers were absolutely stunning, brightly colored, and very fresh. She delivered them in a timely manner so we could use them in photos before the ceremony and during the planning process, she was immediately responsive to emails. Her floral designs are truly works of art, I'm so glad we decided to go with Splints and Daisies.

Splints and Daisies created all the flower arrangements for my winter wedding, including two flower crowns, the bouquet, four boutonnieres, two corsages, and a mantle piece to drape over a fire place. All the arrangements were beautiful and smelled fresh! The S&D staff were friendly, understanding, and professional. S&D is a great value for their high quality flower arrangements and professionalism. This was not the first time I’ve allowed S&D to create arrangements for me and it will not be the last.

Can I give 6 stars?

Tara is INCREDIBLE. I admit, I'm not the biggest flower person. But Tara's flower arrangements completely transformed my wedding. When we spoke before the wedding, I just told her that I wanted bold colors, nontraditional flowers, and for it to be fun and playful. Wow, did she deliver! My bouquet was one of my favorite things about my wedding, and THAT is really saying something. Tara is also super great to work with and clearly loves what she does. The flowers received some of the highest compliments after the wedding--seriously, she is the best.

Tara did an amazing job of taking my limited vision of some colors I liked and turning it into stunning flowers for my wedding! She was flexible and responsive when we changed the location of the wedding from outside to inside the night before! We were so pleased throughout the entire process. Tara gave us suggestions and recommendations during the planning process and was understanding and prompt with changes and updates. Splints & Daisies far exceeded my expectations for our wedding flowers. Our flowers were absolutely breathtaking, and Tara, the owner, was very professional, responded quickly to emails, and very personable! Tara is insanely creative and her passion shines through in her beautiful designs. She even worked with me (on several occasions!) to experiment with fig leaves from our fig tree to see if they would wilt or hold up in my bouquet. She knew it was meaningful and incorporated that personal touch so perfectly. If you get to have Splints & Daisies as your florist, you are one lucky bride!

Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers! To be honest with you, that morning was a bit stressful with watching with weather. But when I saw those flowers you walked in with, my stress went away! I knew our wedding day was going to be perfect rain or shine! You exceeded every expectation I could possibly have. I always thought you did beautiful work based on the pictures I always see but to see everything in person was just breathtakingly gorgeous!

I received a ton of compliments from our guest constantly asking who did my flowers. I rave over the wonderful work you do and how amazing of a person you are!! I'm still in awe of the work you did. The bouquets, centerpieces, garland, etc was the most unique and beautiful I've ever seen! The different colors and different use of the flowers, branches, greens was just amazing! I loved your use of all the different colors: burgundy, dark reds, purple, yellows, etc - so unique!!

I can not say enough good things about Tara's beautiful work. I was teary-eyed as soon as I walked downstairs and saw our flowers for the ceremony and in absolute awe when I walked into the reception and saw our centerpieces for the first time. Tara listened to everything we wanted and came as close to perfectly executing what we envisioned as I think was humanly possible! As an artist, I can truly attest to Tara's artistic ability. Tara was incredible. She was super sweet and professional from the moment we first met. She was extremely accommodating, and dealt with a couple of last minute changes very well. My words and praises do not do Tara well enough. My flowers were to die for. I refused to do the traditional bouquet toss, it seemed sinful with how gorgeous were to throw them in the air. I loved working with Tara, she really listened to my likes, dislikes and brought an image to life! I would not hesitate to recommend Tara to anyone, wedding or any other event. A true artist.

Tara and the Splints & Daisies team were amazing! My wedding flowers came out better than I could have ever imagined! Is there any way I could possibly give 6+ stars in this review?!?! Tara and her staff are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I knew very early on the type of floral design that I wanted in my wedding; garland on the tables and draped over signs, tendrils behind the sweetheart table, and a big cascade bouquet. And boy, did Splints & Daisies deliver! The flowers were beyond exceptional, the look was gorgeous, and I had thoughts of forever storing my bouquet in the refrigerator to admire longingly and smell.

Tara has a true gift of turning something beautiful in to something beyond your wildest dreams! My wedding was in mid-June, so peonies may or may not have been in bloom any longer. Tara knew that peonies were my favorite flowers and reassured that she would somehow work them in. She is a magician because there were peonies in my bouquet, in the bridesmaids' bouquets, in my now-husband's boutonniere, in the garland, in the alter floral arrangements, and on the cake. They were everywhere!

Just a couple of weeks before the wedding, I asked if it would be possible to add some green tendrils behind the cake display-and she did just that! I had guests approach me saying that the floral arrangements were the most beautiful they have ever seen. She also added dabs on honeysuckle, as that is another favorite of mine, in my bouquet and in the garland at the reception site. Walking in to the reception room, one could just smell the sweet honeysuckle-it was divine!

She is responsive to emails and can make your flower dreams come true! You do not even need to consider another florist because Splints & Daisies is it!

Tara from Splints & Daisies absolutely blew me away on my wedding day. Never in my life had I seen flowers so beautiful... until I saw my bridal bouquet. I could tell that so much thought, care and time went into it and in that moment I was speechless. It was breathtaking. I remember all day long every time I saw a new floral arrangement being so happy.

From start to finish, Tara was so wonderful to work with. Looking at any of her work its obvious that she's extremely talented, but shes also very organized and responsive. She was the dream wedding vendor.

At the top of the list were amazing flowers for this wedding. Our daughter had a vision with silver vessels and clear glass. Absolutely hands down, some of the most artistic, creative floral creations ever. She was on time decorated 14 tables, plus a mantle, all the bouquets, etc. and made it seem effortless.

Splints & Daisies did an amazing job executing my vision for wedding flowers. I brought some pictures of styles I liked and the color theme and Tara was able to run with it. The centerpieces and bouquets turned out even more beautiful than I imagined. She was willing to work within the budget I had set and allowed me to provide my own wine bottles as vases. Tara and her team delivered and set up everything with plenty of time to spare before pictures started. I highly recommend Splints & Daisies for wedding floral design.

Tara’s work was nothing short of amazing for our wedding! When it comes to flowers for your special day, Tara is "the one". I truly cannot say enough about how incredibly talented and wonderful she is to work with. She really is magic! There were many unexpected changes of plan along the (long) road to our wedding, and Tara took them all in gracious stride. It was huge for me to be able to give a basic idea of what we wanted, throw up my hands and know the end result was going to be spectacular. Our flowers were more stunning than I could have ever imagined. I would travel the 300 miles from our home in Virginia to work with Tara again!

We contacted Tara of Splints and Daisies just a few weeks before we eloped during a four mile hike down a mountain and past several waterfalls. I was hesitant to get flowers, afraid they wouldn't hold up well during the hike/ceremony, or they wouldn't match the very organic/woodsy style of our elopement day, etc. However, after seeing some of Tara's work online, I knew Splits and Daisies was the perfect choice. Tara created a floral crown, bout, and nosegay for us that perfectly matched our style and held up extremely well during our very unconventional wedding hike. I was so amazed at how beautiful my flowers turned out thanks to Tara! I asked for wildflowers and specified some colors along with wanting succulents for the boutonnieres and they turned out so beautiful and amazing! There was a family tragedy that occurred a week before the wedding and when I asked Tara, to make extra bouts she took care of it without a problem. I am so thankful that I hired Splints & Daisies for our wedding because the arrangements were so beautifully done like art I just couldn't believe how gorgeous everything was that she put together. I asked her for a simple floral crown and it was perfect! My now husband could not stop complimenting the crown and even he couldn't get over how beautiful my bouquet turned out.

Tara, really is an artist, I was not disappointed in the slightest.

Tara was so so wonderful! From our very first email to the day of the wedding she was extremely helpful in every way. There were days that we would email back and forth six or seven times a day. I was telling people she would be in my bridal party by the time things were done because she was just that kind and responsive. I had seen some of her work online so I basically gave a her a bunch of ideas that I couldn't put into words and let her have total freedom with what she interpreted by my mess of floral terminology. She came through and made our day so magical! We had no real theme besides flowers either so I guess a lot was resting on her shoulders but I had no worries that she would do a great job. When I finally saw them the day of it was like she was in my brain the whole time. She gave us everything we'd hoped for. It was the most beautiful wedding is ever been to and it was mine all thanks to Tara!!! Fifty five stars if I could!! We love splints and daisies!

The owner, Tara, is so talented! Prior to my wedding we only spoke via email and I had basically just told her in a few words and 2-3 sample pictures what I was looking for, for our boutonnieres and bouquets. Tara is absolutely amazing. From the moment we had our first consult - she was so easy to talk to -- super responsive through email - and when i needed to add/subtract florals, she was on top of it. We had a bridal bouquet, 7 bridesmaids bouquets, 3 corsages, groom bout, 10 bouts, 14 table arrangements, 2 ceremony arrangements, 1 welcome table arrangement, and 2 for the dessert table. I had no idea what to budget - i had never done this before! We ended up spending under $3000 which i really thought was more than fair. Everyone raved about the flowers! The bouquets and centerpieces were exactly what I had envisioned, but so much better!!!! I can't believe how gorgeous they turned out! I love how Tara uses local flowers that are in season. Tara was a complete joy to work with. I went into my meeting with her with a bunch of random photos and really unable to put into words exactly what i was thinking. Tara is a floral genius! I genuinely have never seen more talent with flowers in my life! I actually had signed up with another florist prior to meeting with Tara but after meeting with her, I knew I could never trust anyone else with our wedding flowers and I cant even tell you how thankful I am that I made the switch! Perfect! Tara was great to work with and she listened to all of my ideas. We changed out date from November 2015 to February 2014 and that was no problem for her! I showed Tara photos of two bouquets that I really liked and she combined them to make an original bouquet for me! It was the perfect winter bouquet!!!! When I saw my bouquet on the day of my wedding my jaw just about hit the floor. It was incredible. Beyond amazing. Tara's flowers are so beautiful! Tara, the owner (and designer) of Splints & Daisies, was the first person I spoke with regarding flowers for my 2013 winter wedding mostly because of her proximity to my venue (the Cork Factory Hotel)...HOWEVER, after one meeting and regardless of her location, I knew she was "the one"! I am completely clueless when it comes to flowers - heck, I don't even have a favorite flower - but I did have a color palette and some ideas in mind. Also, I knew that I wanted to use the same floral decorations in the ceremony and in the reception and that I wanted some fun/funky element included. Cue Tara's eye for flawless design! She took my ideas and transformed them into exactly what I had pictured in my head. She is magic!!! Her laid back disposition and air of confidence made me feel like I was in great hands, and, I WAS! My reviews are overdue but as our anniversary approaches I can't help but get sucked in to the memories of our wedding day and I STILL feel the need to gush over my perfect day and pay homage to those who made it so.

My perfect day started with the flowers! I cried one time during my wedding day and it was the moment I walked into our reception room and saw my flower arrangements. They were better than I could have hoped for. Tara took my vision, added her personal, professional touch, and delivered more than flowers -- she delivered an entire atmosphere.

The arrangements were bigger and better than I imagined. She added some of her unique touches that made my arrangements special and not just a carbon copy of the photos I procured as inspiration. Tara worked within our budget. She was incredibly prompt any time we emailed her with questions. She kept open communication and went above and beyond in her delivery. She made sure my day screamed professional and fun all at the same time.

I would highly recommend Splints & Daisies to anyone looking for something more than ordinary. When we gave Tara the freedom to do her craft she gave us extraordinary results.

I gave flexibility over to Tara, and she blew me and my husband away with the floral arrangements. We wanted the rustic yet elegant look and she totally nailed it. We were nervous because we were not certain what we were going to get because we only gave her general ideas, but we could not have been happier with her. She was great at responding and extremely helpful in helping us make decisions and sticking to our budget. All of our guests are still commenting on how beautiful our wedding was and how awesome the florist was with her decor. I would recommend this florist to anyone who wants their wedding to be the wedding of their dreams.

Tara was any easy choice when it came to deciding who was going to handle the flowers for my wedding. Three weeks before the wedding we found ourselves in a terrible situation. Our original florist was not going to workout for us after all, so we were left to find a new florist. Amazingly, the next day I called Tara and to my delight she was available on October 21st. I gave her our budget as well as my daughter's wishes for the use of Calla Lilies as the main flowers and Tara created exactly what we were hoping for with a little flexibility on our part.
My daughter's bouquet was stunning....and the rest of the arrangements were lovely. Thank you for saving the day Tara.

Holy friggin' cow! Have you ever had your entire bridal party gasp at the floral arrangements because they are so beautiful?? Tara is so talented, so professional, and so nice! Her website is fantastic - she is super-artistic, creative, and yet will work with you. As an artist myself, I trusted her to do whatever she wanted. The only parameters were the general colors of my bridesmaids' dresses, and the fact that I loved dark calla lillies. She created the most gorgeous free-form bouquets, centerpieces, and flower boxes for our wedding. The guests were floored. In fact, they stole them! We hardly had anything left to take home ourselves after the wedding! That is a true testament to how beautiful her creations are. If you hire her, you will NOT be disappointed!

Brides that want gorgeous, artistic magazine quality arrangements, look no further THIS IS YOUR FLORIST!! Tara is simply amazing and really knows how to stand out of the crowd with her flowers. She took all my input and put together quite frankly, the most beautiful bouquets, boutonnieres and center pieces I have ever seen in my life. She really captured everything and more that I was hoping for my flowers.

My budget was set low, and while Tara's initial proposal came in above my budget, I know she did her absolute best to keep things cost effective without sacrificing the look. In the end, I bumped up my flower budget because I knew there was no one who could compare to her talent or come close to her price point for what she was offering. Tara is a true floral artist with an unmatched talent and a sharp eye for design!!

The bottom line, if you're lucky you'll spend the rest of your life getting traditional rose bouquets from your husband; make your day the most special ever and use Splints & Daisies to create unique and stunning arrangements beyond your wildest dreams!!

Tara creates arrangements that are truly works of art! Everything she did for our wedding was incredible! She does a fantastic job! She is down-to-earth and easy to work with! Pricing is very reasonable considering the incredible flowers you are getting! In terms of planning out your day with her, it would be good to prepare ahead of time and take along photos of the kind of arrangements you are looking for and have an idea of what kind of flowers you would like to utilize. She has great ideas and can take your suggestions and create something incredible! You can also rent mirrors, candles, vases, etc from her for your centerpieces which is very helpful!

In planning our April wedding, my husband and I put a lot of trust in our vendors in recommending other local professionals. Splints and Daisies was recommended so highly to us by both Tony Gibble Photography and In White Bridal, that I knew from the start it would be a wonderful choice for our flowers--the end product far exceeded all of my expectations.
In one brief meeting with Tara, I was able to describe in little detail what I envisioned for our wedding. Besides selecting the colors and approximate sizes, I left the creative design of our bouquets, church flowers, and reception centerpieces up to Tara, and I was blown away! We received so many compliments on the beautiful, simple, and unique flower arrangements--I wish I could have kept them all!
Tara was fantastic to work with and was very accommodating in delivering our flowers to several venues on the day of our wedding. The value and quality of Splints and Daisies service and floral creativity cannot be beaten.

Beautiful floral arrangements (PERIOD).

I loved working with Tara. She was helpful from beginning to end. She gave me great advice.

I absolutely loved her stylized, but organic look of her arrangements. Nothing she did looked cluttered or clumsy. My outdoor wedding had such a beautiful backdrop of a waterfall at Pheasant Run Farm B&B. Her flowers accentuated that natural beauty.

Her prices are more than fair, I had quotes four times as much. I had florist who said they couldn't get the peonies I wanted for less than $9 a stem. And all those quotes were proved to be overly-inflated once I visited Tara.

Her work speaks for itself. She's a well known vendor in the wedding community. I love those flowers. I hated to leave them for my honeymoon, but I donated a bunch to our lovely B&B hosts, Bob and Vivian so their beauty would not be wasted. Gorgeous! Gorgeous! Gorgeous!

If there was a key element of design that lifted our wedding decor from
pretty to stunningly gorgeous and innovative it was Tara's floral work from Splints and Daisies.
We had been in search of a florist who would listen to our ideas and get excited over our sketches. Our color scheme was bold and we were asking for three different centerpieces that would make an impact in the Eden Resort's towering Courtyard spaces. We wanted to have a feeling of under the ocean and elegance, candlelight and color, full blooms and sparkle all wrapped in one.
From the start Tara "got it". She immediately expanded on our plans and offered suggestions for flowers ~ both traditional and exotic~ that would suit our ideas. There was not one idea of hers that didn't give us chills of excitement.
We asked for goldfish and she delivered! Those little guys swam around all night in her vases adding flashes of brilliant color and life to the oranges, fuschia, corals, and yellows.
Tara accepted our thoughts graciously and with quiet confidence. She assured us that she had worked with fish before and although other florists had balked at the idea she was thrilled at encorporating them into the design.
She has immaculate attention to details.Her follow up after each meeting was clear, prompt and professional. We were able to leave our ideas firmly in her capable hands..... and then there was the moment we walked into the Eden's Courtyard.....absolutely breathtaking ~ there was our vision in full color and lushness, every petal, and leaf (and fin) in perfect place.
We had collected several accessories over the months of preparation to add to the headtable, and once again Tara excelled. She asked to place all accessories herself to ensure our vision remain complete. That being said, she was also able to work side-by-side with the Eden's exceptional staff ~ they made one brilliant, successful team.
Her pricing? - an extraordinary value especially considering the quality of the flowers and her remarkable talent and attention to detail.
We also were very appreciative of Tara's concern for the environment, and her sustainable and responsible methods were a key reason we chose her as a florist. (The fish have a happy home in a large pond today due to her care)
Tara, you were the calm voice of confidence and we were able to hand over our ideas and relax knowing you would perform.
You are a creative genius and your final results exceeded our expectations - you have an exceptional eye for color , texture and composition and we will forever be grateful for the key role you played in Jess and Cooper's wedding weekend. Most appreciatively, Cherie, Stephen, Jess and Cooper.

I chose to click on Splints & Daisies at first because I liked the company name -- in the vast multitude of wedding florists, this kind of creativity and attention to detail goes a long way toward connecting to a potential client. Then, upon visiting her site and perusing her work, I was intrigued and inspired by her unique, bold style with an emphasis on eco-friendliness. When we opened communications, and I told her I wanted to give her free rein with only my wedding thematics as a guideline, it was love at first...quote?

Tara, the owner, operator, and creative force behind the company, worked up descriptions of each and every floral arrangement she envisioned at our rustic, elegant Winter Solstice wedding. Candles filled the detailed ideas, as did feathers, branches, and fern fiddleheads. Bright green popped against ivory and chocolate. The icing on the cake was the idea for my bouquet: with flowers cascading off a faux, birdcage-style lantern, it would incorporate the theme of light in a very tangible way.

On the day of our wedding, she was there at our reception site to set up all the branchy table arrangements herself, hanging over 50 tea lights in tall vases to give depth and height to a blank, peaked ceiling. She made sure every flower got to its wearer, from grandmoms to groomsmen. Her enthusiasm, creativity, and eccentric style brought drama and elegance to our special day, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else in the central PA area.

At the end if the day, too, remember -- you are paying professionals like Tara to do exactly what they do best, and Tara above all does it brilliantly. When it comes to executing the vision for your wedding day, be flexible and encouraging, not controlling and demanding. With the former approach, you will receive a far better product that fits within your vision while taking full advantage of the fantastic artistic talent you are hiring!

Splints and Daises was a life saver for my wedding. 2 and a half weeks before the big day, a different florist was stalling and non-responsive and wouldn't work with my requests. I sent an email to Splints and Daisies, and within 2 hours Tara called me to assure me she could do what I wanted within my budget. The bouquets were beautiful- exactly what I wanted. I found Splints & Daises online and was IMMEDIATELY in love with Tara's personal style and the unique types of flowers she uses. When I met for our first meeting almost 1.5 years ago, I realized they're in the same complex as our wedding! It was meant to be. At the meeting I gave Tara a few pictures of some arrangements I liked, the colors of our wedding, and our budget. She gave us a large array of arrangements for our tiny budget and was always very helpful with any questions we had before the wedding. I trusted Tara to come up with something beautiful and unique so I never saw a preview of the flowers, but I was ABSOLUTELY ASTOUNDED by how beautiful my bouquet was when they dropped it off. There was even an artichoke in it (I love artichokes)! Everyone gave us compliments on how original and gorgeous the flowers were. Tara knocked it out of the park! If you like her style and don't mind giving up some control over this aspect of your event, I would highly recommend letting Splints & Daisies take care of your floral arrangements for you.

I felt like Tara and I were on the same page from the very beginning – I loved her unique, natural floral design aesthetic. We worked together to figure out which flowers would be in season, in our budget, and still have the overall look that we wanted. Tara is such a creative and talented floral designer! I didn't really know what I wanted, my inspiration photos that I gave her consisted of a bunch of mish mashed ideas and she was able to create a concept that surpassed my expectations. Not only were the bouquets and bouts amazing but she also created fantastic centerpieces that were exactly what I had in mind. If you are a slightly offbeat bride who doesn't want the typical "lollipop" bouquet (although she does those really really well too) you should check out Tara for her interesting, different designs. If you're into non-flower elements as well (succulents, berries, cotton, twigs, ferns, etc...) she can come up with some great ideas.

I wanted rustic, non-classic flowers and arrangements and she delivered. The flowers were fresh and perky and stayed that way for DAYS afterwards (a few buds on my bouquet kept blooming a week later!) For anyone concerned with wilting flowers, you do not have to worry about that with Tara's creations. She is a bit pricey but she really creates amazing, one-of-a-kind arrangements. She really gave our wedding a unique, special look and she's so sweet to work with. I e-mailed her countless times with new ideas and modifications and she was always willing to accomodate me. I was also amazed that she accomodated a lot of my other wishes as well, like candles, candle glasses and wood slabs, things I thought I was going to have to buy or rent elsewhere.

Thank you, Tara, for being such a huge part of our day. The flowers were amazing and exactly what I didn't even know I wanted; more than I expected... perfect!

It's funny but I'd never really considered how much floral arrangements would mean to me when I started planning my wedding nearly a year and a half ago -- in fact, I'd given it so LITTLE thought, that during my initial meeting with Tara, I said "ooh, I hadn't thought of that" or "I don't know, what do you recommend?" several times.

Once we got rolling with ideas though, I was really excited to see what Tara would create ... I was a little disappointed to learn that there would be no mock-ups to view prior to the big day (unless we wanted to pay an additional fee), but trusted in her talents, as seen on her website.

On the wedding day, I was pleasantly surprised by the creative bouquets she had created for me and my girls -- I'd gone with a more botanical feel and given specific colors, and the results were quite unique when put into action -- I loved the one plant that looked like a baby head of cabbage surrounded by purple and orange flowers and some fun textured "grass-like" elements.

I barely had a chance to look around and see the centerpieces she had created for our reception, but know that the guests thought they were quite fun, which was the aspect I was going for.

I would definitely recommend Splints & Daisies to anyone, whether for a wedding or just for a really interesting and very artistically-inspired floral arrangement.
