Collaborative writing of a special, custom ceremony and wonderful delivery
Ann was easy to communicate with throughout the whole process, is very affordable, and very collaborative! We were also particularly impressed by crafting a ceremony draft with her using the materials she provided to come up with a beautifully unique and tailored ceremony! She kindly delivered the ceremony in the rain with us and made an impactful message with her delivery. Ann also filed the marriage license quickly the week after the wedding.

Amazing Officiant
We hired Ann from Splendid Ceremonies to officiate our wedding, and she exceeded our expectations! Not only is she kind, approachable, and organized-- but was extremely flexible and worked with us through several edits to get the script just right. On the wedding day, she arrived on time and came dressed perfectly for the occasion; she looks great in the photos, smiling and pleasant, while also brilliantly managing to move out of the important shots. Her diction and cadence was notably good during the ceremony (lots of people teared up). We found her pricing to be quite fair for what she provides. She submitted the paperwork on our behalf immediately, so we received our license lightning fast with a cute printout of the ceremony script. Of all the vendors we hired, she was easily one of the best.

Perfect day!
Ann helped create the perfect ceremony for our special day. We had an interfaith wedding, with my sister performing part of the ceremony. Ann incorporated everything we wanted and made the ceremony personal and heartfelt. My tough hubby even cried. It was a perfect day. I highly recommend her!! Very quick to respond to messages and very professional. We didn't have to guess or worry about anything. She had the best suggestions and helped us design the perfect ceremony. 🥰

We had some unusual ideas (like quoting a musical for our vows), and she just went with the flow and made suggestions to make the ceremony flow naturally. Ann was great from start to finish. We told her our plans for our mountain elopement and she was able to help us create the perfect ceremony. We wanted short and sweet and she did just that. Surprise wedding!!
We’ve been together for a long time but when we decided we wanted to get married on 8/8 and it was 8/6 I knew just who to contact. My hubby and I used Splendid Ceremonies, with Ann, for our wedding in October. To say she was amazing, wouldn't be enough. She was beyond responsive and respectful of our every need. I loved that she had a premade pamphlet of ideas for our ceremony. It really allowed us to create something a little less traditional and more "us". Ann was nothing short of amazing. She walked us through every step of the process, brainstormed and gave us plenty of ideas for the ceremony, and worked with us in detail to fine tune every single line and word. Even though we had no rehearsal, she was able to show up the day of, get all of the paperwork handled, and give us an absolutely beautiful ceremony. Small outdoor wedding in rural New Hampshire
Ann was fantastic to work with. My husband and I had no idea where to start with our wedding ceremony or vows; she gave us so many resources that helped us tailor our ceremony perfectly for us with her guidance. She was so knowledgeable about different customs and ceremonies within the ceremony (unity, knot tying, etc) and supplied us with resources to help decide if including one was right for us. Ann was so professional and responsive from the beginning to end of the process. Ann helped us create a custom ceremony and vows that reflect our relationship and she guided us through the process with her knowledge and experience. Ann helped us understand how it all worked and helped us fill the details that we were not even aware of! Following the wedding, Ann also promptly mailed us a copy of the marriage license, beautiful card, and instructions for a name change that was neatly organized in a folder for us to keep. I would highly recommend working with Ann for your wedding if you want a meaningful ceremony with an officiant who has the knowledge and experience to help guide you through the process!

Ann was the perfect fit for our scaled-down wedding! With our special day taking place in the middle of COVID we were lucky to come across an officiant who was vaccinated, considerate of guests' health concerns, and okay with being broadcasted on Zoom. It was clear Ann's priority was crafting a ceremony that reflected us and was open to whatever format we desired. Her delivery was perfect. A lovely person who made our ceremony perfect
Ann is the absolute best. She was extremely responsive and was very prepared for any situation. Due to weather, we had to shift our ceremony time, and she was incredibly flexible. She made our intimate ceremony so special and really listened to exactly what we wanted. We would highly recommend her, as she is a kind and generous person, who will make your ceremony really meaningful.

Splendid Ceremonies Indeed!
There’s not much to say here about Ann that hasn’t already been said, but risking sounding repetitive: Ann is SPLENDID indeed! A wedding can be a very harried affair, trying to remember this, that, and the other thing - Ann has such a calm & reassuring presence, you can’t help but be reminded that regardless of what’s happening with the reception, she’s going to make sure her part is done 110%. She possesses something invaluable which you can’t teach someone: a balance of lightheartedness and gravity that is absolutely key. She was absolutely the right choice - thanks for making a day that was special to us, even more so!

Wonderful officiant for our wedding
Ann was our officiant for our wedding in October 2019. I would highly recommend working with her! She was kind and professional, and worked with us to get the ceremony just right before the wedding. She even invited us to her home for planning. On the day, the ceremony went smoothly and was very moving. It all seemed easy and we were in good hands. Afterward we received a copy of our ceremony text in a thoughtful folder. Highly recommend working with Splendid Ceremonies!

My husband and I are picky, not religious and were getting married in a different state so finding an officiant we trusted was not simple. I was very happy to have found Ann who made everything very simple by giving us a large variety of outlines and letting us choose exactly what we wanted said. She came to our rehearsal the day before the wedding as well and offered helpful tips and on the day of the wedding my mom mentioned that her delivery was great. We also didn't have a microphone at the outdoor ceremony but everyone said they had no problems hearing. Would recommend Ann in a heartbeat :)

A Perfect Ceremony
Ann is genuinely one of the nicest and warmest people we've ever met, and it was evident within just the first few minutes of meeting her. She exudes a personal desire to help make your wedding as special as it can be and tailor the ceremony to who you are. The ceremony that she put together for us was absolutely beautiful. We weren't exactly sure what we wanted for the ceremony prior to meeting with her - readings, vows or I do's, etc - but Ann welcomed our blank canvas and created a perfect ceremony for us. With how excited we were for the rehearsal and wedding day to roll around, it was so warming to see her share the same excitement as she shared those moments with us. We can't thank her enough for everything!

Ann was an absolute pleasure to work with. We had a unique situation where we had a very close friend who we wanted officiate our wedding, but he was not a Justice in NH, therefore he could not pronounce us officially. Ann was very much eager and willing to assist us with this predicament. She was even willing to look over his script to make sure it was proper and did not contain any errors.. this was all that we needed to choose Ann for our wedding after having been told by other JP's that we interviewed that what we wanted to do would ruin our special day. Ann took that to heart and made sure that we had the best day possible - even though it rained, we had an amazing day. If anyone is looking to have someone close to them perform the wedding, but is not a JP, my wife and I highly recommend Ann Poole , the price was very inexpensive and was more than worth it given how accommodating she was for our situation.

Where do we even begin?! It was such a privilege to work with Ann! She came as a recommendation from our wedding planner and we set up a time to meet in person. Ann was warm and open from the beginning. This being our first marriage, not knowing how much goes into a ceremony was overwhelming but Ann made sure that we were comfortable with everything as well as leaning on her for any advice and questions. Ann definitely made the ceremony process for us much more relaxing and working with her was very natural. My husband and I are already talking about in 10 years renewing our vows and we wouldn’t want to do that without Ann!

My husband and I reached out to Ann because I had witnessed her officiate a family friend's wedding a few years ago. After she sent us some "sample" ceremonies to review and advising us to do some ceremony research ourselves, Ann invited us to her home to meet and discuss what kind of ceremony we were looking for. Ann carefully listened to us talk about which ceremonial elements we wanted to include, and drafted an incredibly beautiful ceremony!! After the wedding, so many of our guests told us how beautiful and wonderful our ceremony was. Truly, working with Ann was one of the easiest and best parts of planning our wedding.

We needed a JP for renewing our 20th anniversary vows.
Ann got right back to us and was very efficient. We wanted to keep it small and simple, but as our plans fell through we decided the perfect place would be inside our Airstream, so our beloved pup would be there. We were very satisfied with how Ann handled the service and if we know of anyone needing her services, we would not hesitate to recommend her.

Right when we met Ann, we knew she would be the perfect officiant for us. We had a great meeting where we discussed ceremony options, and she gave us some beautiful ceremony samples to pick and choose from or add or change to create our perfect ceremony. We wanted to do a special stone warming, which she said she had never done before but was very excited to do, and she wrote a great passage to explain to our guests what we were doing and why and how it works.
Ann was so warm and personable and catered to our every request. She offered her advice on our vows, which we wrote ourselves, and helped to make our ceremony personal and memorable for us and our guests. She also put everyone at ease during our rehearsal the day before, so everyone knew exactly what to do the day of! Everything went perfectly, and I could not have asked for a better officiant!

Ann was great! She met with us well in advance to talk about what sort of ceremony we'd like to have and had sample ceremonies for us to choose from. She was also open to our ideas for customization. We ended up editing two of the examples she gave us and putting them together. We also included personal statements to each other and a handfasting in our ceremony. The ceremony was perfect. Everything went smoothly. We could not have picked a better officiant.

We were very happy with our choice to have Ann officiate our wedding. She was very helpful in the planning process and helped us feel at ease throughout, from our initial meeting at her farm in Hillsborough to the rehearsal and ceremony. Before our rehearsal, she even helped us unload some of the wedding supplies from our car! She was also very proactive in helping us script the vows, and found a nice passage that we added to conclude the service. We highly recommend her!

E. Ann Poole was so organized, gracious, and provided everything needed for planning my wedding ceremony. I was in CT, planning a wedding long distance in NH and I couldn't be happier with her services. The guidance and input she gave via email on writing our vows was awesome. Ann was always quick with her responses, and very helpful at all times. I put together drafts of the ceremony script and she never had any issues with it. I loved the ability to make it my own and Ann provided that flexibility that was needed. She sent off our marriage license very promptly and we received it in the mail about a week after the wedding. Everything ran smoothly during the ceremony - Ann was even able to ad a bit of humor of her own, which we loved.

My husband & I hired Anne Poole to be our JP for our wedding at Pats Peak in September. She was always so responsive and a delight to talk to. She was on a list of preferred vendors through Pats Peak and that is how we came in contact with her. I knew that I would not be able to say my own vows without becoming incredibly emotional but I wanted to have a say in the wording and flow of the ceremony. I am an English major and so this really meant a lot to me. Anne was so helpful with giving me suggestions and proofreading my selections along the way. She was open to anything we wanted to add into our ceremony and never made me feel like this was her thing and not mine.
My husband & I ended up moving up our wedding date to start a family. I contacted Anne about our situation and she was very accommodating to the changes we wanted to make, even though things were on much shorted notice and further out of her travel area. She was always so easy to talk to and very professional. We didn't actually meet her until the day of our wedding and I don't regret a minute of it. I knew from the very beginning that I could put my faith in her and that she would help us get through this and I was right! She did an amazing job and got us through! I would recommend Anne to anyone looking for a very low key officiant who is personable and open to anything.

Ann was great! She was able to help walk us through the marriage license application process and provided very helpful examples and materials when we wanted to write our own ceremony. She had great suggestions for revisions, but allowed us to make it really personalized. She also was willing to do a handfasting for us, in addition to exchange of rings. I loved how she got everyone organized and feeling relaxed at the rehearsal. She was awesome. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

Ann did a delightful ceremony. We were very impressed with her professionalism and genuine caring to make to make our wedding beautiful. She was very receptive to sharing her experiences with previous ceremonies that she officiated. I would recommend her services in the future.

Ann was lovely to work with. We both have a very busy work schedule and she was fine meeting with us via the phone late at night on weeknights and Sundays. She also provided nice instructions on how to apply for our license and had a lot of nice suggestions for the ceremony. Ann also charged the most reasonable price of all of the officiants I came across in my searches.

Ann was amazingly helpful in planning our ceremony! We had no idea where to start and Ann pointed us in the right direction! Everytime I emailed or called her with questions or asking for help, she responded right away and had lots of great ideas! She was flexible when we needed a face to face meeting. She is so friendly and warm!
