Stunning job

John did a STUNNING job providing florals for our wedding. He was always a pleasure to work with, communicative and flexible as needed. He took our vision and made it a reality beyond our dreams, it made the room stunning. We knew the arrangements would be stunning after our preview meeting with John, but he took it to the next level in how he reacted to the room on the day of and made the space even better. The level of service was also superb including day of. I can't recommend working with John and Spitz & Peck higher

Beautiful florals

We couldn’t have been happier with our decision to hire Dalsimer Spitz and Peck to be our wedding florist. John was so easy to work with. He is personable, flexible, and is able to make your vision a reality with very minimal direction. I knew very little about what I wanted for our wedding flowers, but in a very short amount of time talking with him, he knew exactly what I didn’t even realize I wanted! He also made an adorable floral collar for our puppy!

A Beautiful Touch on Our Big Day

Dalsimer, Spitz and Peck set the scene beautifully for our ceremony and reception. John was an absolute joy to work with. He was accommodating, friendly and a master with florals and design. John and his team were able to bring our vision to life decorating our church and the entire venue. From centerpieces to bridal flowers, Dalsimer, Spitz and Peck left no stone unturned, playing their important part in our most special day.

Flawless experience

We used DSP for our daughter's wedding at the Crystal Plaza on October 22, 2022. Thank you to John and his team for a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect and absolutely beautiful!

Brought my Exact Winter Wonderland Vision to Life.

John was fantastic! Friendly, funny, easy to work with and talk to and stayed within my budget. At the last minute, I swapped out one arrangement for another - but on my wedding day, John surprised me with both arrangements and did not charge me any additional money. He brought my EXACT vision for a winter wonderland to life - I cannot put into words the feeling that overcame me when I walked into the ballroom for the first time and saw how the decor came together. It was unbelievable. And absolutely perfect. My only regret is that my photographer did not take more pictures. Thanks again John!

The flowers were absolutely beautiful! The centerpieces at my daughter's wedding were breathtaking! Each table had a different arrangement, so it wasn't monotonous. I was also blown away when I saw how beautifully they had decorated the chuppah! Total perfection!

We are so happy we chose to use Spitz & Peck for our wedding at the Westmount! They worked with our budget, created center pieces exactly as we wanted them, and decorated the whole outside with flowers and other decorations. They provided extra boutonnieres and flowers in-case there was an issues with the bouquets. We knew very little about flowers and had little vision for what we wanted, in regards to colors or style. John helped us navigate the 100's of choices they offer and he made the room look beautiful. These guys rock!

John from Spitz and Peck was the perfect person to deal with. We had just spent months with a different florist who talked and promised but then kept leaving key things out of the contract (watch out for that) so shortly before the wedding I scrapped the other florist, called Spitz and Peck and could tell right away that this was the right vendor for us. I told John our budget for the whole event (not including tips) and what I wanted and he found a way to deliver. He was very easy to reach, attentive to what we wanted, and most importantly, was a no-nonsense guy to deal with. He went through everything that was included and was happy to put it in writing. He did an excellent job and we were very happy with the results. Thanks Spitz and Peck!

We worked with John for our wedding at Crystal Plaza and could not have been happier! His knowledge and experience really helped make our vision a reality. Everything from the chuppah, to the arrangements down the aisle, to the centerpieces, to the bouquets was spectacular and beautiful.

It was a pleasure working with John. He's flexible, honest, and really guided us throughout the entire process with our best interests in mind. I asbolutely LOVED the flowers at our wedding and cannot thank John enough for everything.

You will not be disappointed with Spitz & Peck! I'd definitely recommend them to all brides!

My husband and I got married at the Crystal Plaza this past December. We worked with John at Spitz & Peck in Livingston, NJ and it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. John treated my family and I with respect and had great knowledge of our venue and it's floral needs. John and his staff did a great job setting up our Chuppah/ceremony room and the ball room...guests are still raving about our center pieces!!

We are very happy with how the flowers looked at our wedding and would recommend Spitz & Peck to anyone looking for creativity and comfort in knowing that the flowers at your event will be gorgeous!

John from Spitz and Peck was fantastic with our flowers. He knows exactly what he is doing and makes the room complete. He even added flowers on our cake and extra flowers on our table to make it extra special. I would recommend Spitz and Peck if you want a fabulous room for a great cost.

John of Spitz and Peck provided the flowers for our daughter's wedding on Saturday evening, Oct 27, 2012. John was a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. He helped us select magnificent center pieces that were different from everyone else's. In fact, many of our guests commented on how beautiful and unusual the center pieces were.

All the bridal bouquets and the flowers for the Chuppah were also beautiful. And, everything was delivered and set up on time.

I would highly recommend Spitz and Peck for your wedding.

Our flowers were BEAUTIFUL! John truly took into account the vision I had for the day and ran with it, and it was everything I wanted and more. The center pieces were stunning, the ceremony and ketubah were breathtaking, and the bouqets were gorgeous. We were thrilled with every detail. We had the center pieces taken apart at the end of the evening, so each guest could take home a bouqet, and it was a wonderful touch. John was professional and friendly, and we very much enjoyed working with him. He helped make our wedding look beautiful and magical, and I would absolutely recommend him to other brides!

John at Spitz and Peck is amazing. This is the second wedding that I have used John for. Both my daughters weddings were spectacular and both so different. The chupahs at both were just magnificent. The centerpieces were gorgeous. John is the consummate professional. He is kind, patient, creative. Any request will be honored. He will stay within your budget to the penny. We loved Spitz & Peck!!! We booked our wedding with John and he was such a dream to work with!!! He knew exactly what we wanted before we even finished our sentences!!! Our flowers on our wedding day were absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! Our friends and family did not stop raving about the centerpieces!!! There were flwers decorating the cocktail room, on the tops of our ice sculptures, in the bathrooms, on the trays of the passed hors d'ouevres, just everywhere! It truly looked like a platinum wedding! Our ceremony was so perfectly romantic with a flower arch with draped organza and the aisle lined with candles decorated with the most beautiful roses and mini calla lilies... and my bridal bouquet! Just a dream come true! We are SO happy with Spitz & Peck!!! Thank You! :)

John is the best!!! He created my vision perfectly!! You could see the time and attention to detail in everything he and his team created. Very easy to work with, and totally gets what your thinking. I couldn't ask for a more professional and creative florist!

Having chosen the Yale Club in Manhattan as our reception venue we had to use one of their florists...which I was nervous about at first and I met with A LOT of florists. I have to say hands down Spitz & Peck not only was the most friendly and nicest vendor, but they were the most efficiently priced too. Spitz & Peck took my vision that I thought was out of the realm of possibility and brought it to life. I have NEVER seen more beautiful flowers at a wedding EVER. Spitz & Peck was so professional and really listened to what I wanted, especially given the fact that I changed my colors from our first meeting to the time of the sample meeting. I was blown away by my flowers on the day of my wedding, everything from my bouquet, the BM bouquets and the Centerpieces were above and beyond. I would use them for any event without hesitation.

We used Spitz and Peck for our June 26th wedding and they were absolutely amazing. John totally "got" me from the start. I had a clear vision of what I wanted my flowers to look like and even some unreasonable expectations (bright pink peonies in hot, late June) and John came through on every last thing down to the last flower including PEONIES! People were floored by all the arrangements and the Chuppah looked amazing. About two weeks before the wedding, John showed us exactly what we would see on wedding day and we were not disappointed. I still get excited looking at the pictures. If you are working with John, you cannot go wrong!

Spitz & Peck were amazing, they had actually done my sister's wedding 7 years earlier and we had no question they were who we wanted to use for my wedding.

John was amazing he knew exactly what I wanted and from our first conversation he was able to put everything together perfectly. The flowers were out of this world. The bouquets were so beautiful and the centerpieces were out of this world.

If there was one issue I would say it was with the delivery people, I specified three times to them when they were at the house that they were supposed to take the grandmother's corsages to the church and the mother of the grooms. They ended up leaving them behind and since the groomsman had been instructed about giving them out it ended in a situation where we had to take the corsage back from my grandmother because it was meant for my mother-in-law. I also had specified not to have a runner and they put one down anyway and they didn't tell anyone about the flowers to the blessed mary so we did not find them until the ceremony was over.

The little details don't matter in the end though you have to remember what was most important was how absolutely amazing everything looked.

Jon at Spitz and Peck was great to work with, and really carried through the vision we had in mind for our wedding. He has a lot of experience and seemed to already know what we wanted before we had to tell him. He was always friendly, fun, and flexible, and willing to experiment. I was blown away when the truck pulled up to my house and they opened the doors so I could see all of the decorations. They were amazing, and exactly what we wanted.

These florist were flexible and were up for the challenge of our wedding...they were accomodating and the flowers were beautiful. They were able to see my vision for my wedding. We were getting calls for weeks after the wedding on who our florist was!!!

John was wonderful to work with. The centerpieces at our wedding were beautiful. They were tall glass cylinders with orchids in them and candles arranged on each table. I didn't take much consideration into what I wanted my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets to look like (and I wish I did), but they were still beautiful. The flowers came at the appropriate delivery time. My husband also planned a surprise for me, with bouquets of flowers and those were beautiful as well. A big thank you to John for his time and professionalism. It made our wedding day a breeze.

John and all of Spitz and Peck were wonderful to work with! John was extremely helpful, understanding and flexible during the planning phases of our wedding. He respected our budget and made suggestions accordingly. You could immediately tell he has been doing this for many years, and he is a true professional. He was also very accommodating when small changes or additions were needed in the weeks leading up to the wedding. The day of the wedding everything came out perfectly, and John was even there supervising the set up at our venue, The Westmount Country Club. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for personalized, high quality service!

John was wonderful - he fulfilled my vision and dressed the room better than I could have imagined. He also participated in conversations and direction on lighting on vendor coordination and was incredibly adaptable throughout the process.

The flowers were beautiful! They were exactly what I wanted! I have bad allergies to flowers so he made sure the flowers he used were not as scented as others. The only negative thing that happened was on the way to the church the van got a flat tire. They were putting flowers in the church when people were arriving. They apologized and they offered my mom a free arrangement for the future. They made my mom a beautiful arrangement when my nephew was born. I put 0 in the how much did you spend because I can't remember.

Keep in mind I had an original florist vendor in mind, from Flushings, NY, that quoted half the price. Ended up with Spitz and Peck as they were the cheapest flower vendor amongst our options for the Yale Club of NYC. We had no other choice based on our budget.

Pros:
1. Flower arrangements were beautiful, especially the ones during our cocktail hour.
2. They were able to get my salmon peonies in May
3. Nice to work with.

Cons:
1. Flower as main decoration on cake was not what I had requested. Decorations on cake were underwhelming.
2. I told them by budget, and it was ignored. ($2500, and final bill was $4600, without prior notice)
3. Not worth its value (prices felt inflated/over priced)

I hired spitz and Peck to provide the flowers for my wedding in May, 2007 and would not recommend them to anyone. Prior to the event we discussed my preferences, reviewed pictures of what i wanted and I was continually assured that they would provide exactly what I wanted. For example, I requested crystals be placed in the bottom of all of the centerpieces and throughout the event. Despite constant reminders on my part, there was not one crystal at the event. I showed them multiple pictures of a floating huppah made of butterflies and was told that they could copy the picture without problem. Instead I was given an iron frame which resembled a house that had been toilet papered. I requested tons of french tulips and when they showed me the sample I informed them that I wanted double the amount in the centerpiece. I ended up with half. There were two absolutes to my vision- no pink and no roses. On the day of I was handed a bouquet of pink roses. And to top it all off, after we paid them in excess of $13,000, they called my father away from the kettubah signing and pictures multiple times to insist that he provide extra tips for the delivery and set-up. After checking with others in the industry we learned that this is absolutely not standard practice. I would seriously caution anyone against using them for any special event as they misrepresent their product and disregard their clients wishes.
