Elle has a grounding, joyful energy that carried the day. When we first met with her, we had what could perhaps be called "dumb" questions (how long the ceremony should be, how do we stand, what should the groom wear, what exactly was our dress code, what's a unity ceremony, etc.) but she had great insight and feedback, and provided excellent resources on potential ceremony elements. Thanks to Elle we were able to create a ceremony that was meaningful to us, our traditions, and our families. It is so clear that Elle loves love and it was an honor to have her be part of our love story. -

Elle was truly the most incredible officiant we could have ever asked for. From the very beginning, she was so collaborative and made us feel completely seen and understood. She took the time to learn our story and crafted the most magical, poetic ceremony that felt so personal and true to us. Her words were so beautifully written and delivered with such warmth and grace. On the day of our wedding, she had our entire audience in tears, and so many guests told us it was the most moving ceremony they had ever witnessed. Elle’s kindness and calming presence made us feel so grounded and at ease throughout the entire process. She truly has a gift for creating moments that feel deeply meaningful and unforgettable. We feel so grateful to have had her by our side on one of the most important days of our lives. Selecting Elle from Spirit Fire Life Ceremonies as our spiritual minister was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding on 10/14/2023. From the outset, Elle was incredibly easy to talk to and collaborate with, creating an atmosphere of warmth and understanding that was essential during the wedding planning process.
What truly set Elle apart was her dedication to understanding our love story. She took the time to get to know us on a personal level, ensuring that our ceremony was a true reflection of our unique journey together. Her ability to weave our story into the ceremony added a deeply personal touch that resonated with us and our guests.
Elle’s expertise shone through in the customized ceremonies she developed. The cacao ceremony was a heartfelt addition that brought an intimate and sacred feel to our special day. The fire ceremony she developed was not only visually stunning but also deeply symbolic, perfectly integrating our belief systems into the proceedings.

Elle helped to create and then facilitated the most beautiful ceremony for us. From the beginning, she was warm and approachable. She was supportive and helpful along the way, and PATIENT! She sent us lots of inspirational but non-required reading material that we were able to use to help guide us on our elopement journey. She has a beautiful poise and presence, and a grounded, calming energy. It is obvious that she loves the work she does as a celebrant, and that she holds the role in great honor. 5 stars!!! -

Working with Elle from start to finish was wonderful. We really didn't know where to even begin on the process of creating our wedding ceremony and Elle guided us every step of the way. From our initial zoom meeting, to all of her helpful questionnaires, suggestions, ceremony options and drafts she was able to carefully create a custom ceremony that would not only retell our love story of our lives coming full circle in the most intimate and special way.
The biggest thing that stood out to me as a bride was that upon our arrival to the ceremony site on our big day was that Elle had the most calm, warm, comforting and reassuring presence. She just really helped us and reminded us to focus on the fact that this was OUR day and not to worry about a thing. Her care, creativity, and warm demeanor are unmatched. Anyone who chooses to with with Elle will not be disappointed. -

Elle was AMAZING! And even "amazing" falls short! She helped us more than any wedding planner could, she was always available to answer our questions (no matter how silly they were) and even helped me with my vows!
She was very mindful of things we didn't even think of!!! Like "it's going to be too hot, maybe have water bottles ready for the guests" and things like that. I will strongly recommend her services to EVERYONE, she's honestly the best! I'll be eternally thankful for her patience, dedication, and honestly how great of a person she is ❤️ -

Elle was absolutely amazing. Our consultation left a lasting impression on us (we quoted her for 2 years). Elle was vital in helping us choose a pre marital coach and just there to answer questions along the way. One thing that stuck out was, we had a really big change 6 days before our ceremony that I had to notify vendors. Elle was quick to respond, send prayers, and offer suggestions for us to cleanse our energy. Our ceremony was beautiful and she really captured the essence of who we are with the vows she wrote. The theme was “love is our jam!” - ugh tears! Elle came to visit a few minutes before we began and I began peppering her with questions about the license and such. She grabbed my hand and said “All that’s taken care of. You’re married already, this is the fun part” My guests commented on how soft and loving her voice and spirit was. She. Was. Everything! I highly, highly recommend hiring Elle with Spirit Fire Love, it’ll be the best decision you make in your wedding planning. -

Elle was a phenomenal officiant and we could not ask for a better person to marry us.
After some initial stress after family drama over initially choosing a relative as an officiant, we chose her in her hunt for a professional officiant because she exuded warmth, positive energy and showed a genuine interest in understanding our cultures and our love story to do the best possible job. She drafted an excellent ceremony script based on our vision and questionnaires we submitted and accommodated a series of last minute tweaks.
Our relatives loved Elle and our guests praised her for having a voice like honey, a powerful presence and for keeping their attention over a 30 minute ceremony. And she kept us at ease and made our wedding feel beautiful.
Strongly, strongly recommend Elle, would give her six stars if we could -

My bride and I wanted to find someone who would hold a line for our day without it being overly religious or oppressive. Don't you find that wedding ceremonies can be somewhat stuffy, a bit too serious, even heavy-hearted? Well not here.
We met Elle Sojourner via Zoom as a reference from another officiant from WeddingWire that was booked on our day and our venue was out of their range. I'm so, so glad that we were able to be passed off to such an amazing woman. Elle is caring, and not in a customer service way, but in a "I'm not going to be the one to marry you unless I believe you both want to be there" kind of way. She was a friend from the minute we spoke with her, and she was the most comforting, encouraging, and loving person we could have asked for.
She took great care to curate a very personal ceremony surrounding us and our love stories for one another. She is funny, quick-witted, and takes her role as a celebrant incredibly serious. Leading up to our wedding, she was in constant contact keeping is on a timeline with small reminders, and trickling information in as needed so as not to overburden us with details.
The day of, there were some weather concerns, and a few wedding day blunders (as are to be expected) and never once did Elle break her stride. She remained stoic, optimistic, and full of light the entire time. She was so amazing, in fact, that a number of our guests wanted to speak with her after the wedding just to tell her how wonderful she was in her role as our officiant.
Elle made this entire experience just that, an experience. Her personal, loving touches to the entire day shown through immaculately and with seemingly no effort on her part. Truly a blessing to have found her for our day. -

Elle was fabulous; not only did we thoroughly enjoy working with her and appreciate her guidance and support during the wedding preparations, but she created a fantastic ceremony! I cannot count the number of people who commented on how amazingly personal and moving it was. Many people told us it was the best ceremony they'd ever attended! And very importantly, we LOVED it. I cannot wait to get our ceremony video and watch again because I couldn't soak it all in at the time. So highly recommend!! -

If you want to start your marriage off on the right foot, you must choose Elle as your officiant!
Elle was ABSOLUTELY incredible in three ways -
1) she was EXTREMELY THOROUGH, FUN, AND PROFESSIONAL in the lead-up
2) she was FAIRLY PRICED, especially given she provides unlimited revisions for no extra charge
3) she MADE THE CEREMONY ENERGETIC, BEAUTIFUL, TAILORED TO OUR REQUESTS, AND ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL!
Honestly... Elle made the ceremony the most memorable event of the whole wedding (which is almost never the case)!! She brought a level of relaxed humor, she did not fumble even a single time, and she made me and my wife so comfortable in an event where we would otherwise be nervous. -

Elle is amazing. She's warm and empathetic, has a gift with words, plans things down to the last detail, and has wonderful gravitas and charisma. She put together a beautiful ceremony based on the questionnaire we filled out -- warm, funny, romantic, and just the right length. We each did one-on-one sessions with her to help workshop our vows, and she left us each feeling more confident and relaxed about what we had written. Words are my profession (lawyer), and I was impressed with her drafting skills, and her ability to match tone while remaining authentic. She was very on the ball throughout the process; she answered emails promptly and also reached out periodically to make sure we were all on the same page. Her ceremony script included every detail: from the musical choices to the choreography of handing off my bouquet to my MOH to the announcements before pronouncing us married. True, she was more expensive than other officiants we looked at, but this is not a "wedding tax" situation -- Elle puts in the hours to make sure everything goes smoothly, so her work is a bargain at the price. She made sure that the most important part of our wedding -- the part when we actually got married -- was not just smooth, but magical. -

Elle Sojourner is a powerful officiant and ceremonialist with a gentle, compassionate, and organized demeanor. My now husband and I were wed by Elle this past April. We know our love is sacred, and with Elle's support through the whole marriage process we felt very safe and well cared for. We co-created a beautiful ceremony that imbued my husband and I's spirit, energy, and two different cultures in a way that felt true and authentic to our vision. Elle guided us through the creation process to the ceremony and through the paperwork parts. This all in the time of corona mind you!
