Spinning leaf vineyard was the most beautiful venue, both inside and out, for my June wedding. The all inclusive package was a great value and made planning so simple and easy throughout the entire process. I had no complaints about this venue and would choose them again 1000%

I absolutely love this venue. From the amazing views to the large amount of space inside and outside. We had our wedding outside and everything was perfect. The host was amazing! The communication was exceptional. This vineyard is amazing for weddings, events, or pictures. I would absolutely recommend Spinning Leaf to anyone.

If you were looking at this venue as a potential place for your wedding, book it right now! The staff is amazing, the venue is beautiful, and they make your life so much less stressful by helping you with so many other vendor relationships. We booked at this location after our destination wedding was canceled and relocated due to Covid, and the moment we walked to the door to meet with staff we knew it was the place for us. They were so kind and welcoming! We didn’t want a lot of stress after already having planned an entire wedding that got canceled, and they made our life so much easier by already having relationships with florists, bakers, and access to their in-house decor. We selected a caterer off of their preferred caterer list as well! Everything was perfect, and everyone was so kind and communicative throughout the entire process. I truly believe this is one of the best wedding venues you can find in the Charlotte area for a reasonable price. So many venues offering half of what Spinning Leaf offered were charging twice the amount! You will not regret choosing this venue - they make every dream come true. Our photos and video of our big day looked amazing!

Service and assistance was superb from booking to completion. The Spinning Leaf is very lucky to have such dedicated and genuine people who are truly with you through the whole experience. Not only is the venue stunning and the options unbeatable, but having the support I did through Covid and general planning stressors, was a game changer. I have and will continue to highly recommend this venue, the consultants and partners that are affiliated with the Spinning Leaf.

Spinning Leaf was exceptional and professional from start to finish in our wedding process! We chose Spinning Leaf because of their beautiful outdoor and indoor venue options that are accessible and STUNNING! Because Spinning Leaf included basically everything, we didn't have to worry about renting out tables, chairs, dining ware, linens, or a sound system. It saved us so much time and stress!

We worked with Jane to plan all the details of our wedding, and she was phenomenal. She has a gift as a visionary who can also piece together alllll the logistics that need to happen to bring the vision to life. And she is just so kind!!! We had an unexpected surge in our guest number about a month out from the wedding, and Jane was incredible. She put us at ease and figured out solutions to make room for all our guests for both our reception and the rain plan in case we had to have an indoor ceremony.

We couldn't have asked for a better venue experience! We are so happy that we had our wedding at Spinning Leaf!!

Working with Seth and Heather was an amazing experience, and worth well more than what they charge for services! The venue is gorgeous! Our only regret is that our plan for an outdoor wedding was rained out, but the backup plan for indoors was still beautiful.

Wonderful venue for any event. The staff and owners are so helpful and work to make your request come true! They are the best! The outdoor garden area is gorgeous and the mountain views make a perfect backdrop for your photos. We are very fortunate to have this venue in our town.

My wedding was absolutely gorgeous!! The communication between the coordinators and I was perfect. They were always just an email away ( and I sent a lot of emails as a stressed bride). The "special" i got included food and beer, so that alleviated a lot of the stress. My only reservation about the venue is it closes at 10 pm, so the wedding realistically needs to be over by 930 or earlier as everything must be out by 10 PM. I would start your wedding as early as 4. Mine started at 5 and it felt too quick. Overall, great venue and great staff.

Wedgewood wedding &events Spinning Leaf location is simply beautiful from the outdoor setup to the indoors setup! And Kyra and Bri were so helpful and insightful. Seriously, one of our top contenders!

This was our first venue tour and I have to say that I am obsessed. Very kind, very helpful (Kyra and Bri are superstars). A little over our budget, but I’m willing to make the sacrifice.

Me and my now husband fell in love with the venue at first sight. This venue is drop dead gorgeous and we were able to have our wedding outdoor. They have an option for indoor weddings if the weather is bad. All the staff were helful in answering my questions and getting all aspects and timeline in order before the wedding. There wine is also quite delightful. Truly a perfect day. The only negative thing I would say is we weren't able to get wine/beer while getting ready. It didn't affect me but I know some of my bridal party were disappointed. I think it was just miscommunication. I would recommend this venue to anyone.

Overall, I had a good experience using Spinning Leaf at the Vineyard for my April wedding. This venue was my top choice when deciding on a location due to the all-inclusive package offered and the views of the mountains. The staff at the venue were very friendly and accommodating when it came time to sign the contract to reserve my date which put me at ease. Leading up to my wedding day, they answered all of my questions in a timely manner, even when I re-asked the same thing (wedding brain is real). They were able to accommodate my liquor requests and any additional things needed. One negative for me was that you only have access to the venue for 10 hours and the venue does not open until noon so there was no way for me to get my hair and makeup done on-site while still being on time for my 4 o'clock ceremony. However, I felt very comfortable going into my wedding day regardless. On the day of my wedding, the staff members set up the decor I brought myself perfectly and were around to help if needed. However, by the end of my wedding, one of the staff members became very rude and abrasive towards some of my guests and eventually to my husband. She incorrectly accused my guests of smoking which was unpleasant and when my husband intervened to clear it up, she yelled at him, spoke very rudely to him and eventually walked away from him mid-conversation. This interaction is the reason for my low professionalism rating. Other than that one staff member, the rest of the staff were pleasant.
Lastly, the reason for my low star rating on responsiveness and professionalism was due to the catering staff provided by Spinning Leaf called Taste of the Town. They were included with my package and were the soul caterer for Spinning Leaf otherwise I would have looked elsewhere. Taste of the Town was not only horrible at communicating with me, but they outright stopped emailing me back about a MONTH before my wedding. Once I gave them my final guest count and meal choice, they did not respond to another email from me. This caused major anxiety and frustration. I tried to confirm what the vegetarian option would be for my wedding and they never responded. In addition, when I asked clarifying questions about what each appetizer consisted of and what was included in the charcuterie board, I felt the response I received was short, agitated and didn't even answer my questions. Clayton, the chef, told me a general description but said his boards change however I was looking for this information so I could choose the proper appetizers and not double up on things. Likewise, with my questions on the apps, I was asking so that I did not choose similar items/so I knew what I could expect. His responses were always short and he never offered any photo examples or anything to accommodate me. The quality of the appetizers I chose were not bad and the size of each appetizer was pleasant. However, my dinner choice was not great. I had a filet and salmon duet plate. The filet was overly seasoned with black pepper, making some guests (including my own) plates unedible and the salmon was fishy which I have never experienced with salmon before. In addition, one of my guests asked a server for salt and pepper shakers and was told "the bride did not request to have salt and pepper offered". This was absolutely unacceptable as who in the world would think they have to request something as common as salt and pepper? And for the server to imply to my guest that me, the bride, was the one to blame for this was absurd. Very disappointed in the food and overall experience with Taste of the Town.
Although some of my experiences were not pleasant, overall I had a pleasant and beautiful wedding day!

My husband and I were married at Spinning Leaf this year. Overall the experience was beautiful. The staff on the front end was fairly responsive, and we always knew what to expect. I do think there's some areas where the business can improve. They charge 250 for each time someone brings in outside alcohol. This is a direct charge to the bride and groom, which I don't find fair or helpful. The bride and groom are there to enjoy their day and honestly have no clue who is doing what, or can govern it and other people's decisions. Where spinning leaf can improve is both this policy, and having more on-site support the night of. It's a huge investment that the families make to have their special day. We also had several guests tell us that the bartender was very rude and left the bar unattended several points of the night. Again, an overall good experience, but if you are going to be strict about your alcohol policy, perhaps don't charge 3000 to stock a bar that's left unattended. It kind of looks as if you're taking advantage of your customers.

I would not recommend having a wedding here. Though it is very beautiful and scenic, there are so many stipulations. It rained on my wedding day and the venue wasn’t very compassionate or understanding. They are definitely all about money. The owner however ended up accommodating us with a plan b but the venue would not and did not set up or even help with our ceremony space. We had a micro wedding package and it’s probably the worst thing we could’ve done. Here’s the included things: cake, bride’s bouquet & groom’s boutonnière, wine & beer, etc. Our wedding cake was very beautiful but it was FROZEN solid so we could not cut it or eat it. We ended up throwing it away before we could not eat it at all. We were able to keep the top layer for our 1 year anniversary but we are not looking forward to eating it at all. Our guests were left really disappointed. My bridal bouquet & groom’s boutonnière were the wrong color AND the groom did not even receive his boutonnière. Thankfully my mother made him one just in case. The wine & beer was fine but the bartenders that they provided were not very pleasant or knowledgeable and were the only ones there from the venue. So we were left with a bunch of unanswered questions. Their contract definitely needs to be done over and they need to care about the couples that choose and pay to have their weddings there. The event director wasn’t even there when their contract states that someone from their venue would be there during the duration of the wedding. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It’s not worth the trouble at all. There are better venues out there that have compassionate and caring people. Take time to find them and ask the RIGHT questions. Be specific and definitely have a great wedding planner. You will need it because this venue will leave you on your own on one of the most important days. This venue will go downhill for sure. They may think they’re prospering but people will catch on to them. If you love yourself and your loved ones, PLEASE DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE. It will be a disaster like mine was. The venue has not since reached out to us with apologies or congratulations. Our wedding day was on Friday, October 8th, 2021.
