Absolutely Amazing!

Owls & Lions was the best entertainment we could’ve ever chosen! We did the hybrid mix of live band and DJ, and it was absolutely perfect — the dance floor was packed the entire night. I’ve truly never been to a wedding where every single person was dancing! Our guests are still raving about how it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. The vibes were unreal, and Owls & Lions brought so much energy and fun from start to finish.

Owls and Lions are the best

We cannot rave about Spinners (Owls and Lions) more. From the beginning, with soft acoustic music while the guests were arriving. To me walking out to a toned-down version of shipping up to Boston (awesome), and my wife walking out to Nicole playing Cannon in D on the violin. Transitioning to cocktail hour with Jay and Nicole playing upbeat acoustic and finding the perfect music for the mood. And finally, Jay turning it up and being the best DJ ever for the reception. They were the absolute best from first song to the last, we picked Irish goodbyes (an Owls and Lions original). We have guests of the wedding now turned onto their music, and we will all be going out to see them live again and again.

Highly recommend DJ Lou!

We wanted a DJ that would keep the vibes high energy from start to finish and DJ Lou more than delivered! The music was incredible - he played the perfect mix of songs from every era based on our suggestions while also playing our "must haves." Lou was so much fun and such a talented DJ - the dance floor was FULL from the minute we entered the reception until the very end. Highly recommend!

The Beverlee’s

Working with Jay, he set us up with The Beverlee’s and we couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. Molly and her bandmates/DJ were a HUGE hit as all our guests raved about them during and the days after the reception. They learned our first dance song and nailed it. Everyone was on the dance floor from the first song to the last. Annie and I highly recommend them - you will not be disappointed!!

Jay and the team at Spinners were just incredible! Highly communicative and understanding - from the ceremony through to the reception everything was perfect!

The Owls and Lions treatment for our cocktail hour and ceremony was such an amazing touch, that left our guests wowed! Just the coziest, classiest vibe!

The music for the reception was perfect, they hit it out of the park! Several of our 180 guests came up to us and said it was the best wedding music they’d ever heard, with many not wanting it to end !

Professional, Organized, Kind, and SO MUCH FUN!

Just the Best!

Jay Della Valle and his partner Nicole have so many rave reviews for their acoustic music as Owls & Lions, and DJ work as Spinners Entertainment, that they hardly need one more, but we enjoyed them so much, we couldn’t not post our biggest thanks. From the moment they appeared at our daughter’s wedding (with Nicole immediately reminding everyone of the best of Daisy Jones), they were gracious, cheerful, accommodating, patient, and brilliant musicians. It is no mistake that everyone loves these guys, and we enjoyed their work so much, we’re trying to come up with another event idea to have them back. We could go on and on, but since so many others have given this team five stars, we’ll simply say we can’t imagine having found anyone anywhere who would have been a better fit for our day. Just the best!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Jay and Spinners Entertainment! Getting married is a beautiful but extremely stressful process, however working with Jay made things not only easy but wonderful! Jay was recommended by my friend who got married and after having Jay at my own wedding I would undoubtedly recommend him to anyone! From our first conversation and he was kind, accommodating, down to earth and extremely knowledgeable. They are the Best!

Owls & Lions were amazing! From ceremony to cocktail hour to reception they nailed every part of our wedding and we could not have been happier. They are truly such a talented band. Live Band is the Way to Go!

We discovered Owls and Lions by mistake at our venue tasting in 2019 and I am so glad we did! After hearing a sample there we attended a showcase in Morristown where we really got to enjoy Jay and Nicole perform in addition to a sax player and guitarist. After two postponements due to COVID, what started as Owls and Lions for the ceremony + cocktail hour and a DJ for the reception quickly morphed into Owls and Lions for ceremony + cocktail hour and the full band/DJ hybrid for the reception. All I can say is, no regrets! We LOVED having live music and our guests had a blast!

I knew we’d have some dedicated dancers in our crowd, but a good bit of observers too. A band was an excellent way to get the dancers up and dancing and allow the observers to sit back and enjoy the show. Jay was great with communication leading up to our event and the night of he was sure to check in with us periodically to make sure we were happy with the vibe or if there was anything they could do differently to ensure we were having the best time. My husband and I aren’t huge dancers, so we were happy to join in part of the time, observe some of the time and mingle with guests at others.
Owls and Lions performed beautiful acoustic music with guitar and violin during the ceremony + cocktail hour and guests said their energy really added to the good vibes of the night. By the end of the reception so many guests were out on the dance floor singing and enjoying themselves. The band played Stand By Me right at the end of the night and all our guests circled up together and sang at the top of their lungs, definitely a moment we will always remember!

Super talented and accomodating!

We hired Jay and Nicole to play at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, and Jay DJ'd our reception. I would highly recommend this duo and live music / DJ hybrid to anyone who is looking to have live music at their wedding at an affordable price. The music quality was really great and they are both such talented musicians. Our wedding guests were especially impressed with the live music they played during the cocktail hour. Jay was also so helpful during the planning process and was available to answer all of our questions and customize the music to what we wanted.

Hoot & Roar

Jay & Nicole performed as Owls & Lions for my wedding ceremony [Nicole’s violin was beautiful in their instrumental rendition of Home] & cocktail hour [plenty of bouncy songs, including at least one original]. Jay switched over to the DJ booth for the reception. Being able to have both a DJ *and* a band was exactly what we needed; they were flawless!
Spinners was responsive when communicating over email & phone. My now-husband and I are the first in our friend group to get married, so we weren’t super sure about how many music selections were needed or what the most applicable kind would be (beat/tempo-wise). Jay walked us through everything over the phone, and made sure we were happy with all the choices so that our day went off perfectly!

Amazing to work with

It was so lovely to work with Jay. Despite being very busy, which I would say is a great sign, he made time for us and accommodated all of our requests. He was happy and present during our wedding and we couldn’t have asked for a better dj/mc. We also hired Owls and Lions which I heard from my guests were great! I unfortunately was too busy running around to enjoy the live music during my cocktail hour.

Jay and his company was definitely a one stop shop for us! He provided live music, dj, mc, and we even got our photo booth from him. Highly recommend! :)

The best!

From the moment we started working with Jay until the day of our wedding, he was an absolute pleasure to work with. During our first call with him, we could tell how passionate he was about music, his band, and making weddings unforgettable.

Jay is responsive, easy to work with, and he truly cares about the couple and their special day. We worked with him throughout the pandemic (postponing our wedding multiple times) and he did everything he could to put us at ease and accommodate our date changes.

We did a mix of band and DJ and they were AMAZING. Coming from someone who has been to too many weddings, I truly believe the music is the most important part and it makes such an impact on whether guests have a good time or not. Owls and Lions played during our cocktail hour and the first half of our reception and then Jay switched it up to DJ mode for the rest of the night- this was the perfect combination! He also made sure to get everyone on the dance floor at one point for a group photo which was awesome (and the photo came out great)!

Owls and Lions was hands down the best choice we made when it comes to our wedding. So many of our guests commented during and after our wedding about how talented the band was and how much fun they had (thanks to the great music)!

As the bride, I am so happy to reflect on our wedding day knowing that all of our guests had a great time and thankful that I was able to dance the night away (I think I only left the dance floor once to eat)!

Thank you Jay and Owls and Lions for making our wedding INCREDIBLE- it would not have been the same without your talent.

Truly the best!!

Jay and Spinners Entertainment are truly top-notch and made the music portion of our May ‘21 wedding planning so easy. The Honey Badgers provided amazing live music during our ceremony and cocktail hour. DJ Monopoli kept the dance floor packed all night and did a fantastic job playing songs that our guests of all ages loved. Everyone that we dealt with were true professionals and a pleasure to work with. We continue to get compliments on the entertainment from our wedding guests.

Jay made the entire reception!

Jay DJ'ed my wedding this past June 2021 and I can honestly say I am STILL singing! I still have guests saying how amazing the playlist was all thanks to Jay. He was incredible with keeping the party going and made sure everyone was having a good time. The music selection was EXACTLY what we wanted and I still don't have a voice from belting out all my favorite songs! He sang acoustically and played the guitar during my cocktail hour, which was a huge hit with my guests. I cannot say enough good things about him and wish he could DJ every event in my life! A crowd favorite!

Jay and Nicole joined us from Spinners Entertainment - as Owls and Lions for the ceremony and reception, and dj-ing for the reception. They were excellent! Their renditions of Wildflowers (Tom Petty), The Girl (City and Colour) and Crazy Little Thing Called Love (Queen) made the ceremony so personal and perfect. The party kicked off amazingly at the cocktail hour with live renditions of so many great songs. The DJ set had everyone dancing all night, and Jay worked with my sisters to ensure their duet/Matron of Honor speech went off without a hitch. Thank you Nicole and Jay!!

Amazing!!!!

Jay was amazing! We had Owl & Lions perform during our ceremony and cocktail hour and then Jay took over as MC/DJ for the night. The guests loved it all! Everyone came up to us saying how much they loved the Owls & Lions set. They gave the perfect vibe for a great start to the evening. Check out their songs and social media and youtube. Jay was also a phenomenal DJ. He made sure everyone was dancing the whole night and had a great time!
When the pandemic hit, we had to reschedule our 2020 wedding for 2021. Jay was the first person to reach out to make sure we were doing fine and that he was ready to go for the new date. Jay was also very responsive and put up with all of my random last minute emails (including my request the night before the wedding for Owls & Lions to play an extra song during our ceremony).
All in all, he exceeded all of our expectations, as both a performer and a professional. We highly recommend if you are looking for wedding entertainment!!

Highly recommend!

We booked Spinners Entertainment for our wedding on March 20, 2021. We were not disappointed! Our MC Anthony was incredible! He played a variety of music and would check in with us periodically to make sure we were happy with everything. I would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married! Owl & Lions were AMAZING

Let’s me just say owl & lions were absolutely amazing! They were beyond responsive, flexible and creative. Every guest at my wedding LOVED them singing while guests arrived, singing the recessional, professional, cocktail hour and slow dance songs during the wedding. They have such an unique spunk and a different spin of just a normal DJ. They even were able to replicate my wedding invite to be used as the photo booth print outs which I could not be any happier with! I would 100% recommend them time and time again. The guests enclosing myself still are talking about how amazing they were!

September Wedding in Hope, NJ

Unforgettable evening

This hybrid band will leave your guests wanting more. There are absolutely not enough words that can describe the experience I had with Jay with Spinners Entertainment and the rest of Owl and Lions. From the moment we spoke I knew this was the band I was going to hire. Planning a wedding can be stressful to begin with but Jay makes it that much less stressful from the get go. Leading up the wedding and the day of are a testament to his professionalism. What I can say is that the music will not disappoint either. From the ceremony all the way through the evening Owls and Lions has everyone on their feet. They played everything perfect and made the evening unforgettable. Almost 9 months post wedding everyone still talks about the band. That says something about them. I love these guys and continue to try to find ways to get them to perform again.

We loved Owls & Lions!

We booked Owls & Lions for our wedding and we were not disappointed! They are the best of both worlds-- a band for the ceremony/cocktail hour, playing mostly indie folk rock, and a DJ for the reception, playing dance music to get people moving. Jay, Nicole and Chris are fantastic musicians/singers/DJs, very professional and extremely easy to work with. They could really read a room and seemed to know exactly the right song to play at the right time to keep the party going. Owls & Lions

We highly recommend Owls & Lions for a wedding venue or any other event. To say they met our expectations is an understatement. We have all been to hundreds of weddings and most DJ’s are the same, we knew we wanted something different, something better. Our venue recommended Owls & Lions and from our first call with Jay we knew they were the right choice. Jay and Nicole felt more like guests playing music at our wedding than anything else. The whole experience was so authentic and personal, which was a goal of our overall feel. Nicole played an instrumental version of our wedding song as I walked down the aisle and Jay sang it for our first dance. From start to finish the experience was incredible. Beyond our expectations

I can’t thank Spinners Entertainment enough for the amazing job that they did for our wedding September 8, 2019. From my very first phone call with Jay I knew that we would end up booking with them. His enthusiasm and passion for what he does is incredible. He was so easy and fun to speak with and share ideas with. Instantly he got the vibe that we wanted for our wedding and was able to easily guide us in our selection of entertainment. We loved that they have so many entertainment options to chose from!

Throughout our entire wedding day they evolved to suit the vibe of each setting. Jay and Nicole played guitar and violin out on the beach prior to and during our ceremony. Our friends and family said it was so cool to be sitting out on the beach listening to them play! Walking down the isle to the instrumentals of one of my favorite songs was a dream come true and they played it so well!

For cocktail hour we had their band Owls & Lions perform. They were absolutely amazing! If you are looking for a wedding band that will be different from all the rest, book them! So many people came up and asked us during cocktail who they were and where we found them! They definitely set the tone for a fun night!

Jay was the perfect MC and kept things flowing seamlessly. We kept Kevin the drummer from Owls & Lions all night so we had a hybrid DJ setup. In our opinion it was so much better than just having a DJ or just having a band. Him and Jay kept people on the dance floor all night.

So many people have called to tell us that it was the best wedding that they have ever been to and I attribute much of that to Jay, Nicole and Kevin. I had never met them in person before the wedding because we live a good distance away. When we finally got to meet on our wedding day they truly already felt like friends. We are looking forward to going and seeing Owls & Lions perform as soon as we can!

Accommodating and amazing

We really bucked tradition and trolled our families with our wedding, and Jay and the Spinners Entertainment crew not only enabled our insanity, but also made sure everyone had the best time. (Our bridal party walked down the aisle to a song from the "Dumb and Dumber" soundtrack and I, the bride, marched out to "Another One Bites the Dust.") All that, in addition to my pain in the ass mom's annoying song requests for our reception (and my own request to make sure that everyone in our reception knew it was her, not me, who requested Kenny Rogers), was made an amazing reality. Jay even made my in-laws smile, which I haven't been able to do in the almost seven years I've been with their son. I cannot recommend these guys enough, and I am absolutely honored to have had them make our day so special.

The Crowd Loved Them!

We had Spinners Entertainment/Owls and Lions with the full band/DJ, magic mirror package for our wedding last month and could not have been happier with the experience. THEY'RE THE BEST!

I have worked with Jay, Kevin and Nicole on a regular basis since 2010 when I first became and event planner and knew from the very first time I saw them play at a client's wedding that I would need them at mine. They can get a party started like no other band/DJ I have ever seen and they did just that at my wedding last month.

Not only did Jay give our guests a night to remember, but he was also there to help us with ideas throughout the entire planning process whether it was logistics and timing or music selection, Jay was always available to give us advice. They made every detail of our event special and even let my Uncle sing our processional song while Jay played the guitar along with him. They were open to any crazy idea we had and made it even better than we could have imagined. We truly cannot thank them enough for all they did to make our big day the best it could have been!

Out wedding day!!!

Where do I even start with jay, and The owls and lions. So my husband and I really wanted a band but had to stay within our budget. That’s where we found Spinners Entertainment. First of all, they are worth SO MUCH MORE than what the rates are. Which means your getting more for what you pay for 100% hands down. He gave us the amazing option of accommodating us with his amazing band Owls and Lions and also his exceptional Dj’ing skills. I could not have gotten enough compliments about Owls and Lions. I had an overwhelming amount of text messages about how great they were. They played for my ceremony, (the entire thing) while people were sitting and waiting and during when the bridal party came out to a song that meant a lot to us. They did exactly what I envisioned and it was PERFECT. The cocktail hour was even better. The party before the party is what it felt like because of the great positive and uppity vibes that they just were responsible for, had filled the room. I had them for an hour of the reception and regret not having them longer. They really got the party started. Not only do they get the party started right, they get involved in the actual party! It was amazing. I would recommend owls and lions to ANYONE for ANY event not just a wedding. Simply amazing. Now for jay. The last 3 hours of our reception was all JAY Della Valle. And let me just say this guy is indescribably AMAZING at what he does. The entire time Jay was calm, cool collected. He was confident in what he was doing. He had my party going NUTS. I have never seen an entire dance floor filled and all the seats empty at a wedding. It was EXHILARATING. He fed off of our crowd and our party and everything he played was perfect. Like I said everyone wanted to know who our DJ was because it was the best most fun wedding they have been at and I owe a lot of it to Jay and Spinners Entertainment. I can’t thank you enough jay and your crew for making my day become over and beyond anything We ever expected. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS !

Incredible entertainment team for any event!

Jay and Kevin are absolutely phenomenal. We took a shot with Spinners despite never seeing them before because my husband and I just had to have their band, Owls and Lions, perform at our ceremony and cocktail hour. We could not be more pleased that we did! My husband and I have a totally random, wide range of musical tastes and Jay incorporated all of our requests into the most fun night of music! Our guests were up and dancing the entire evening. We also had had a somewhat strange request for the dinner music, but Spinners delivered. Additionally, Jay totally took charge in getting certain aspects of our reception under control, and we are so grateful for his take-charge personality. These guys are the perfect balance of professional and fun. I can’t stop thinking about what a fun time everyone had, especially dancing and keeping the party going. I would very highly recommend Spinners to anyone for any event!

Book them NOW! You won't regret it.

My husband and I got married two months ago, and I am still absolutely BLOWN AWAY by how awesome these guys are. I was so nervous about music at the wedding because I have been to weddings before where the music wasn't great and no one danced. I wanted a party, I wanted a full dance floor, and I sure got it. Spinners Entertainment/Owns & Lions was the best decision I made while wedding planning, hands down. Jay, Nicole & Kevin showed up on time, played live music as guests were arriving and during the ceremony. They then played live music during cocktail hour, and Jay & Kevin transitioned to full DJ after dinner. They are SO talented.

Jay is a straight-up entertainer. During the DJ set, he was out on the dance floor singing to some of the hits and getting people going. I had friends texting me for days talking about how amazing they were. They completely exceeded my expectations. They played exactly what we wanted them to play plus they had fun with the DJ set and played the songs I never even knew I needed. On top of that, Kevin took some awesome videos of the party and fun boomerangs that they sent us after.

Do not hesitate to book them-- DO IT NOW! I doubt you'll be able to find anything else as awesome and for a totally reasonable price. Thank you guys so much!!

Our wedding was so much fun thanks to Spinners Entertainment! Jay Della Valle recommended our DJ James Vincent and he was the perfect choice for us. We left most of the decisions up to him for song choices, and the dance floor was packed all night! So many of our guests told us how great they thought the music was. Wedding 11.2.18

Wow! I cannot day enough about how fun our wedding was on 11.2.18!! All because of Jay Dela Valle & Spinners Entertainment! They kept the party going all night! Jay is such a professional; he knows all the songs to play to appeal to a range of ages. Just the right balance of party music and romantic slow songs. He asked my husband and I about what we definitely wanted to hear and worked with us through the entire process. He made sure to deliver everything we wanted :) Additionally, his energy is contagious! He announced all the entrances with such passion! The whole place was buzzing :) Even their lighting package is on point! Jay additionally is a member of the band OWLS AND LIONS. We asked them to play at our ceremony and cocktail hour. They walked up and down the aisle as guests were being seated for our ceremony. He played love songs with his band and got everyone in the wedding mood. OWLS AND LIONS also rocked out during our cocktail hour! He played fun music even some Irish music which we loved! It was the best of both worlds; having a band and a dj! Absolutely amazing!

Jay is amazing!!! He was recommended to me by a co-worked and I quickly had a call with him after hearing her rave reviews. After our first call (and listening to Owls and Lions) my husband and I immediately knew that he was the DJ for us.

We went to see Owls and Lions perform before our own wedding and when we talked to Jay, Nicole and Kevin it felt like talking to old friends.

We booked Owls and Lions for our ceremony and cocktail hour and then Jay and Kevin DJ'd for the reception. They kept the party going all night! Jay kept the flow perfect through first dances, father daughter, mother son dances and dinner. By the end of the night he was out on the dance floor with the party and had the crowd going crazy.

I cannot recommend Spinners Entertainment enough! This was honestly one of my favorite vendors that we booked throughout our entire planning process.

Jay and team were INCREDIBLE. From nailing our ceremony music timing through our unique multicultural wedding ceremony, to the awesome mix of Indian and American music that kept our guests dancing all night long, the live sax player, the magic mirror, and accommodating my last-minute request to serenade my now-husband at our reception (I literally texted Jay about it on the day of the wedding!) - they were perfect. Jay and Kevin were absolutely phenomenal to work with. They provided numerous options for us to select to make sure our wedding was perfect. The highlight of the night was definitely the Magic Mirror. It puts the standard photo booth to shame. All of our guests kept telling us they've never seen something like the Magic Mirror and how awesome it was. There was a line to use it the entire night!
As for the music, it was kicked off by Jay singing our first dance song. Our guests were extremely impressed with his voice and told us it was a great personal touch. After that, they kept the party going the entire night. The dance floor was always packed and everyone was having a blast.
Spinners Entertainment is definitely the way to go for your wedding or party. They're the absolute best.

Spinners was a highlight of our wedding! We contacted them at the recommendation of friends, and from start to finish, Jay made the entire process so easy. He is super friendly and funny, chill, organized, professional, and all around awesome. He was the DJ for both our ceremony and reception, and did so seamlessly. We were intent on getting people on the dance floor and keeping them there - and one of the biggest compliments of the evening was how awesome Jay was about capturing our vibe, and how people were nonstop dancing. Communication was open and easy - we let him know the general vibe of music we were looking for beforehand, and man, he hit it out of the park. We also got the Magic Mirror, which was SO worth it - none of the attendees (including us) had ever used such a cool photobooth. We cannot say enough great things about Jay - use Spinners, they are fantastic.

From 'Owl's & Lions' (an amazing acoustic duo) greeting everyone before the ceremony, a pianist hitting the keys perfectly during the ceremony, the acoustic duo again throughout the cocktail, and then Jay and Kevin as the MC/DJ team that kept the party going right.
Spinners Ent. was a great choice of whom to deliver our vision of the wedding. A couple major things about this company which we loved was that they were very customizable, and that they tailored every step of the way to just as we wanted it to be. Their TV screens setup showed live candid photos throughout the reception, which also provided us with an extra angle of professional photos to take home. Everything mentioned above, as well as their "Magic Mirror" photo station and lighting, made the event one never to be forgotten.

My initial call with Jay Del put me at ease and I realized I'd come to the right place for our wedding's entertainment. After discussing at length exactly what we wanted and landing on a very reasonable price Jay assured us that Ollie would do a great job. The entire process was very easy. We spoke to Ollie the week before the wedding which bolstered our confidence even more. He was understanding of the type of night we wanted and delivered in a big way. Ollie was professional, dictated the mood of the room without being invasive or overbearing and was very kind. It was a wonderful night and Ollie provided the soundtrack. We have very little experience with hosting large events but moving forward we know who we will use for our next event without question.

We hired Jay anencephaly Owls and Lions after seeing them perform at a wedding showcase. Their sound was exactly what I was looking for, and I knew that Jay would understand our music taste. I was blown away by Nicole’s version of Still Falling For You that I picked out specifically for me to walk down the aisle to. She made it a perfect moment.
We didn’t get to spend a lot of time at cocktail hour to see Owls and Lions, but we heard amazing feedback from our guests.
Jay and his assistant Kevin were perfect at the reception. They pronounced all of the complicated Russian names perfectly, had amazing musics cued up, and found the perfect moment for all of our special dances. They even brought in an amazing vocalist, Erika, to sing during dinner which everyone loved! She made a big impact and entertained our guests. Jay kept the music going the whole party, and threw in a bunch of songs that fit perfectly with our taste. I would definitely reccomend Jay, Owls and Lions, and spinners entertainment to anyone who is planning a wedding!

Owls and Lions was at my wedding in June and that were absolutely amazing! From the ceremony to the cocktail and then the reception they did a flawless and wonderful job! I couldn't of been more pleased with their services!

The next day, my guests couldn't stop talking about how they loved the band during the ceremony/cocktail hour and how they never experienced anything like that. Ceremonies are usually the same old wedding ceremony but Owls and Lions brought a totally different vibe to my ceremony and made it all the more memorable!

Spinners Entertainment was absolutely incredible. Jay played the best variety of songs all throughout the night to entertain all our guests and at the end of the night when only the young guests were left dancing played the most BOMB mix I have ever heard. We also hired the sax player which was such a nice, unique touch. He not only complimented the up beat music but walked around during dinner time and played romantic music which was surprising and lovely. Then he did an autotune/daft punk song which was sooo good as well. The selfie mirror was also a hit and a nice upgrade to a standard photobooth since it allowed you to interact with it. Lastly, All of the guests loved owls and lions who played during our ceremony and cocktail hour. My wife and I made the incredible decision to hire Owls & Lions and Spinners Entertainment for our wedding on July 22, 2017. From our first phone conversation, I knew that we were in good hands with Jay Della Valle at the helm. He took the time to get to know us and our music tastes, and even committed to learning two new songs for the ceremony! During the reception, Jay and Kevin took our favorite songs and ran, following the energy in the room and playing a fantastic variety of songs for every taste. The dance floor was packed all night and we couldn't have been more pleased! Jay accommodated all our requests while also using his expertise and creativity to keep the party going. We didn't have to worry about a thing. Our guests could not stop remarking to us about how amazing the music was, from the gorgeous performance at the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, when Jay and Nicole roamed throughout the mansion performing acoustic songs to our guests. I don't even know where to start.. We held a wedding at my parents farm and really wanted a band. What we did get was so much better!!! Spinners Entertainment set us up with our DJ Jay. Jay heard about our original plan for a band and told us about the "Owls and Lions". This was a 2 person acoustic band (violin and guitar) and let me just say our guests were blown away with all the personal and intimate touches these two musicians brought to our ceremony and cocktail hour. When the time came to switch to the reception, Jay and his MC smoothly switched the setting and started the party. They were fabulous with the wedding party announcements and even gave the flower girls and ringbears (ages 4-10) a pep talk before entering the tent with all the guests. They kept the party going and to be honest we really did not make this DJ's life easy. We gave them a couple genre's and a few specific songs to play and told them to do their thing; AND THEY NAILED IT!! To top it off at the end of the night, Jay sang a final song while playing his guitar giving us one more amazing memory to hold on to while our guests watched close by and joined in on the serenading. We have already passed on both the information "The Owls and Lions" and Spinners Entertainment with Jay to family as everyone truly did fall in love with them!

Spinners Entertainment was absolutely fantastic. If I could give them a higher rating I would. Jay took care of my (now) husband and I so well and was responsive, supportive, and flexible from day one until our wedding. Jay is just a joy to be around! He did room lighting as well which took our party from ok to amazing. The room looked incredible. At the wedding, he made us feel like stars, double checked everything and led the way to an incredible party. People who NEVER dance were up and dancing and he seamlessly integrated our song choices. He also was able to transition from one thing to the next like a pro. Nobody does it like Spinners. We had the best party of the century. If you wanna challenge me on that, you'll have to hire Spinners and see if they can live up to their reputation! (Spoiler alert: they will).

We first heard about Spinners Entertainment from a friend of mine. My husband and I decided to see Jay perform at a wedding expo with Owls and Lions. We did not have to look any further. We knew we had to book them for our cocktail hour and after talking to Jay we knew he would certainly get the party going during the reception. I had so many people ask me during and after the wedding who the DJ was and how great he was! We even had guests (an engaged couple) go up to him during the night asking for his business card. The best part of the night is during dinner Jay sang "Walking in Memphis." He is so talented and we are so glad we decided to go with Spinner's Entertainment!

Jay Della Valle is the man! We knew after he performed at my sister's wedding that we were going to book them for ours! We hired Owls and Lions to perform an acoustic ceremony as well as Jay as Emcee and DJ for our reception. The wedding music was unstoppable. Owls and Lions set such a beautiful tone for our ceremony, it was magical. We had a winter glam wedding, not necessarily the theme that might come to mind when considering Owls and Lions but they were absolutely perfect for our indoor, evening wedding. Jay knew exactly the vibe we were going for an nailed it. He helped us combine songs for the first dances and really knew how to get the crowd going! I never stopped dancing! Guests are still talking about our wedding, our dances, our music and how much of a ball it was. I know so much of this is thanks to Jay and his team at Spinners Entertainment. We are so happy, thankful and grateful for your services that day. We were so happy to share our special day with you and we have already recommended Jay to friends and family. I hope to attend another wedding with Jay & Spinners Entertainment so I can have that much fun again! Cheers!

My wife and I hired Jay to handle EVERYTHING for us... the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception... and EVERYTHING was perfect. For the ceremony, we were very particular and told Jay we had several songs along different parts and even cues when each song should play... Jay took it all in with a 'no problem' and nailed each one! During the cocktail hour, we had his guitar/violin duo Owls & Lions perform live which was amazing and we were already getting compliments from our guests. At the reception, again, all expectations were above and beyond. All the songs we wanted to hear were played and Jay stayed away from all the songs/genres we weren't into (which was REALLY important to us). He rallied the crowd when needed, knew when to slow down the music, and even blew people away when he sang one or two songs himself!
The right DJ is SO important when it comes to a wedding... the music really can make or break the event. As far as we're concerned, Jay (and his team) is the perfect choice to making the music ensemble everything you imagine at your wedding. You can't go wrong hiring him.

Jay was amazing! We are both in the industry so we had very high standards on our DJ and other vendors. Jay knocked it out of the park! We gave him the a vision of what we we wanted in a DJ and he ran with it. Not only did he have the party going but also made sure to include all different types of genres of music to get others on the dance floor. He was flexible and we did not have to worry at all because he took care of everything. We also had Owls and Lions play at our ceremony/cocktail hour and our friends and family are still talking about it. We would highly recommend him over and over again!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Jay and Spinners Entertainment made my wedding amazing. People still talk about him and the amazing party he emceed, sang, dj'd and all around entertained us all night! The music was prefect from mellow cocktail hour acoustics to amazing tunes everyone loved from all genres that had everyone up and dancing. Jay is a great guy, talented, professional and A MUST HAVE!

Amazing entertainment that guests are still raving about! Spinners Entertainment brought the house down at our wedding reception and made it a night to remember.

We worked with Mike M. who spent a lot of time with us before the wedding to ensure he understood our vision of a perfect wedding reception, and he absolutely delivered. Mike's professionalism and attention to detail immediately put us at ease as we knew we were in good hands. In addition to hosting the party, Mike was diligent and attentive to everything that was going on during the reception to make sure the night went off without a hitch.

As for the music, we went with a pianist during our cocktail hour, and then paired a DJ with a saxophonist and a percussionist during the reception. The guests LOVED the DJ/live music combo. All of the music was absolutely incredible which kept the dance floor packed all night.

While planning our wedding my husband and I were growing increasing frustrated at the tacky sales pitches from entertainment companies spending more time telling us what they do then listening to what "we wanted" for our wedding. We accidently ran across an Owls & Lions video online and immediately knew this is what we wanted for our wedding!!!! We reached out to Jay and entire process from beginning to end was as easy as you could wish for - Jay was only concerned with what our vision for our wedding was and for the parts that we didn't have a specific request in mind, Jay put us at ease making recommendations. We were completely confident he would make everything special. He did not disappoint!!!Owls & Lions played during our ceremony/cocktail hour and Jay (Spinners) was the DJ for our reception. If you want to add that special touch to your wedding Spinners Entertainment & Owls & Lions is the way to go! Let's face it the wedding night goes by so fast and it is a whirlwind (I know everyone tells you this but you don't believe it will happen to you :) one of our fondest memories from the evening was an entire table eating dinner busting out in song to Billy Joel Scenes from an Italian Restaurant (Jay's dinner music selection) and it spread across the room with everyone joining in. The wedding photos of everyone dancing and singing all night says it all - proof everyone had a blast! After all that is what it is all about - friends and family coming together to celebrate this special occasion and having a awesome evening. My wife Heather and I recently got married a few short weeks ago and feel so lucky with how everything turned out on our special day.

Jay, Nicole and Kevin provided the entertainment for the entire event. Owls & Lions acoustic for the ceremony and cocktail hour, with Jay and Kevin from Spinners Ent. Dj'ing and Performing for the reception with live vocals and percussion.

Coming from a long musical background, I was a fanatic when it came to this portion of the night and would be lying if I said I wasn't at all nervous. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I saw while doing my research of all aspects and after several conversations with Jay, I decided to just tell Jay to be an artist and give us a great time with great music. I said I want everyone dancing and non stop energy.

At no point in time was ANYONE at our wedding disappointed. Starting with the ceremony and cocktail hour.. All 3 delivered perfectly classy, tasteful and fun performances. Nicole's violin skill and gorgeous voice, Jay's acoustic guitar and diverse vocal talent along with Kevin adding on point percussion made everything perfect on a nice fall afternoon.

During the reception.... exactly what I asked for... limited top 40, just great music. Jay sang at all the right times and Kevin adding live drums gave the appearance of a much bigger and more extravagant show than we could afford. Not not a single person sat all night long. Literally.... We had people coming up to us all night long asking how they weren't famous and saying that our wedding was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding and the music was by far the best they ever heard.

I have to agree 1000%!!!

I have been thinking of all the things I can organize just to include them in for the music at work events, family events and more.

Everything went so easy and smooth.. you would be a fool to not use them all! Thanks to you all for the perfect night.

I can't wait to get together for the next event!

Jay and his team are the BEST in the business! From day one of communicating on everything on availability, pricing, and vibe of our wedding, we had a flawless experience. So many wedding vendors are talented, but not great 'business people' and I can personally say that Jay is the extremely professional. Now - on to the fun stuff! We had a clambake outdoor Jersey Shore wedding. Owls & Lions provided live entertainment during our beach ceremony and cocktail hour, and even surprised us by leading our ENTIRE wedding down the street in a musical parade to the venue. Everyone commented on how special that was. Jay MC'ed the night and his DJ team took every note we had about playlist/vibe to heart. Everyone danced the entire time and did not want to leave! I cannot recommend Spinners Entertainment enough - I've already passed on his contact info to 3 brides in 3 months!

Jay Della Valle (or "D-Jay" as my husband likes to say) was amazing! We had Owls and Lions for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and a live drummer during the reception. Our wedding guests are still complimenting us about the music at cocktail hour/ceremony and the drummer. My husband, a few guests, and I got to play the drums! There wasn't a moment where people weren't dancing. We've seen him at multiple weddings and he is always amazing!

Jay is an amazing DJ! He really knows how to get the crowd going! He was so good at my sister's wedding last year that I booked him for mine. My husband and I met Jay and his beautiful Owls & Lions partner Nicole while visiting wedding venues. Although we did not choose the venue, we definitely had our hearts set on Owls & Lions immediately!

We met Jay for some information and knew right away that he would be the person providing us with music and entertainment for our wedding day. He was so kind, empathic, and talented - we knew there would be no one else for us!

Jay and his amazing musical crew not only performed for our ceremony and cocktail hour, but they also shed their acoustic shells to become an INCREDIBLE band-DJ hybrid for our reception. People at our wedding were ASTOUNDED by how talented Jay and his colleagues are. Some even said they would pay to fly the entire crew out to California when their children were married.

What we loved the most was that Jay really "got" us. We told him our ideas at the start of the planning process and we provided him with the space to use his creativity and talent. It is so difficult to choose music for a wedding, as they can actually make or break the party and fun; there was something about Jay we knew we could trust and he definitely did not disappoint. He became such a great source of ideas and support throughout the entire stressful process. He even became someone we now consider a friend.

You cannot go wrong with Owls & Lions and Spinners Entertainment for your wedding day! Oh, and by the way - their "selfie mirror" was another huge hit at our party. Ask them about that too!

DO NOT THINK TWICE! I'm so beyond words with how amazing Jay is as a person, professional, and talented dj/musician. Spinners entertainment was the best find! Jay and his team were absolutely a pleasure to work with. Preparation was hard for me due to a recent surgery and Jay made the process completely easy and stress free. My guest were very impressed by owls and lions during the ceremony and cocktail hour as was I. I felt awful they had to withstand the heat but they always had a smile on their face! Jay once again impressed everyone with his singing of thinking out loud for our first dance. I questioned using that song thinking it was a little overused but the way Jay sings it brings complete new life to it to the song. Jay and his team made the night fun, entertaining and was able to get everyone on the dance floor. I was able to enjoy my wedding and guest with no worries. We don't even know where to start. David and I were married at Ninety Acres in August with about 40 people. We knew we wanted a live acoustic duo and after hearing them, we fell in love. Jay and Nicole made our dream wedding come true! Jay with the acoustic guitar and Nicole with the violin... not to mention their incredible voices. I tear up seeing the video of me walking down the aisle to Canon in D performed by them. For the cocktail hour, we wanted it to be interactive and fun. David and I have specific taste in music that is current, classic rock, country, folk, etc.... and not only did they play the perfect music, but even played requests from our guests! Beyond the fact that they are extremely talented as an acoustic duo... they played outside in over 100 degree weather on the hottest day of the year! That being said... you would never know it! Our guests would've wanted to go inside to the AC, but instead Jay and Nicole had everyone happily dancing and singing around the beautiful venue garden. We are so grateful for them! All of our guests wanted to know where we found them and still can not stop talking about them! I honestly can say Jay and Nicole made our wedding dream come true! I just hope we have some kind of event in the future when we can have them play again! LOVE them!

Jay and Nicole hands down made our intimate wedding a celebration that all 16 guests continue to fondly reminisce about. This dynamic duo in voice, musical talent and demeanor had us all singing, dancing and joyously celebrating our very happy day with each other for 3 hours straight. Our age range was 17-63 and Jay and Nicole, lit up the room and garden, with what became the glorious trio of their voices, instruments, and musical souls. It was the single most best decision of the day. I cannot say enough great things about them and their ability to read the gathering, read a vibe, get it going, and keep it going. Love Love love them. They will make your hearts sing.

Jay Della Valle was our DJ/MC for the night and we could not have been happier. We saw Jay at another wedding we went to actually which prompted us to go with him. Not only is he a great MC, he plays the kind of music you want, gets everything going, and he even sings some songs that make you do a double take because he is so good. Thanks to the combination of Spinners Entertainment, Owls and Lions, and Jay Della Valle, our wedding was perfect. Jay is great! He made our wedding such a memorable night. All the guests had a blast. The band and music was perfect. He was able to get everyone to dance. The photo booth was also a big hit. We are so pleased with Jan Michael! He did such a great job communicating with us in the days before the wedding, figuring out what music we liked, and then running a wonderful afternoon of dancing, speeches, games. He made sure that this was our affair (which included a lot of admittedly unusual music that we picked out - some 1920s cabaret music, some ballroom dance mixes, etc) while also making sure that everything went smoothly. We were very impressed with how well Jan Michael balanced between contributing his own MC and DJ skills to the occasion while at the same time facilitating the celebration as me and my wife had imagined it.

There are no words for how amazing Jay and Nicole were!!! Owls and Lions played at our ceremony, cocktail hour, first dance and father daughter dance. They even learned a few new (and challenging) songs for us and performed them BEAUTIFULLY. Guests keep raving about our amazing band. We had a different "dance" band for the receptions so when guests compliment our band I have asked "which one, the reception band?" since they played more hours. Every single person has said "oh they were great too but I mean Owls and Lions!" Their vocals are spectacular. I was nervous about having vocals for the ceremony but really didn't want the typical instrumental processional. Jay and Nicole absolutely blew us away. It was perfect.
It's pretty tough to find a violin and guitar female/male vocalist duo. I never could have dreamed up a better duo. If you're considering booking them do not hesitate!! You'll be so glad you did!!!!

Spinners Entertainment was at my cousin's wedding back in 2015. They had Owls and Lions play their cocktail hour and then Spinners DJ the reception. The entire time I sat there (with my then boyfriend) telling him how awesome their music was. He told me I should take one of their cards just in case. We were engaged 2 months later and after booking a date with our venue, Jay was the very next call I made! We couldn't have been happier with our choice. The entire night ran smoothly - even with a surprise slow song at the end to bring my husband and I together for a last dance. All of our friends were chanting "One more song" as they didn't want the night to end. Thank you again for everything!

My husband and I chose Owls and Lions and Spinners Entertainment for our own wedding after discovering them at our friends' wedding. If you are a music lover, you must have Owls and Lions perform at your ceremony and cocktail hour! Their sound is perfection and we were so sad that we were busy during our cocktail hour and unable to soak them in the way we did as our friends' guests! Our friends, however, got to enjoy the music that they had missed at their own cocktail hour... so I guess it's a fair trade!
As for Jay Della Valle as DJ, we got so many compliments on our music! Guests who never dance at weddings (until after several cocktails) commented on the music choices and how they got them on the dance floor right away and straight through the night. My husband and I have music taste that is off the beaten path of the "typical" wedding music, and Jay did a great job incorporating "our music" with more mainstream selections to give everyone equal opportunity to enjoy the dance floor.
Jay also provided amber uplighting for our venue, which created a soft, cozy glow.
I wish that Owls and Lions and Spinners Entertainment could provide the music at every wedding I attend. They are truly the best!

We just got married a week ago and what can I say.... Jay and Nicole rocked! We had a cocktail type wedding and had them play for the entire time and they were awesome! It was liking being in your favorite bar watching your favorite band! I can't thank them enough! I planned our wedding in 6 weeks and we were so lucky they were available. Jay also played at our ceremony ( just perfect)! I can't say enough how easy it was to work with them, very fair price and we are still getting so many compliments about them! Jay and his team at Spinners made our night one to remember for life. What a Fantastic performance from the live entertainment at cocktail hour to the busiest dance floor I have ever seen at any wedding I've been to. Jay really puts in the time to make everything run smooth and to the point. I would highly reccomend Spinners for anyone looking for professionals and a group that loves what they do and truly put their heart into your special night.

We were happy with Jay. He included a list of songs we requested, got our guests dancing, kept the volume to a level we asked for, and made announcements when we needed them.

My husband and I got married at Rockaway River Country Club in January and used Spinners per their recommendation. They were absolutely FANTASTIC. I have a big Irish family that are pretty hard to handle. They like to steal the microphone and put on performances of their own and have a very.. odd taste in music. They did EVERYTHING to make sure my and my husbands family were accommodated too. They even learned some of the lyrics and dances of the Irish music! They were organized and energetic and I honestly have never experienced a better DJ in my life. I would recommend Spinners to everyone for any kind of event!

Such an easy, stress free, and pleasurable experience to work with Spinners Entertainment at my wedding which was recently held at the Rockleigh Country Club. I'm still getting comments about how incredible the entertainment was- and the wedding was months ago! Mike Murphy was our MC/DJ and he exceeded our expectations in every way. Personable, friendly, so charismatic- his energy was just what our party and our guests needed. We also had a Polish band performing- and Mike was able to work with them and share the time in order to create a seamless blend of great music that kept people dancing literally the entire night. I would't hesitate to recommend Spinners Entertainment and specifically Mike Murphy to any of my friends or family. Thank you Jay & Mike!!!

My name is JoAnn Melillo Lester. I am on the reunion committee for the Barringer High School class of 1960. We have enjoyed class reunions every five years. Our reunions were always very successful and happy events; however, this past October, we were overwhelmed with a superb combination of entertainment. Jay Della Valle was a fantastic DJ and singer. Vinnie Della Valle (Jason Craig) was the perfect showman; his charm, charisma and fabulous voice impressed everyone. Vinnie’s energy and great personality were infectious. We were all brought back to our “Happy Days” and he encouraged everyone to join in on the fun.
What a fabulous reunion we all enjoyed with thanks to Spinners Entertainment!

Jay Della Valle and his staff absolutely made our wedding the most memorable night for us. His staff was professional and he was extremely accommodating. Planning a wedding is extremely stressful, but thankfully Jay made this super easy for my fiancé and I. We had him and his partner sing during our cocktail hour (still getting texts and calls saying how amazing they were) and he kept the party going right up until they were kicking us out! Please note that Jay is not just a DJ, but he is an entertainer. We will be using his services again for our next event. 2 thumbs WAY up for Spinners Entertainment!

Jay and the team at Spinners were simply amazing. Jay met with us and reviewed all the information we needed to ensure our guests would have the best time. Jay was very responsive to my emails and addressed my questions in a timely manner. He also suggested some add ons to my package based off of his professional experiences and I am glad he did. My husband and I as well as my guests were very impressed with Jay's performance!!

Amazing performers and MC. They made the wedding perfect for all that attended. Without them the ambiance wouldn't have been what we wanted to create. We would recommend them to anyone!
