Kelly is amazing and has a unique style of photography. She captured all the moments we wanted perfectly while making us feel super comfortable and while being extremely unobtrusive. She is so easy to work with, she is quick to respond we received our photos quickly and in beautiful packaging. I would highly recommend Kelly to anyone.

Kelly was (and continues to be!) everything you could hope for in a photographer. The pictures from our June 21 wedding are absolutely GORGEOUS, from the snapshots of small, special moments to the stunning portraits. Her work has a contemporary feel without being trendy, and I have no doubt that our portraits will stand the test of time. Just as importantly, though, she was a JOY to work with: Omnipresent but never intrusive, decisive but never pushy, organized but also flexible. She has my whole-hearted gratitude and my very highest recommendation!

Kelly was the perfect wedding photographer! Leading up to the event, she was a dream to work with. She always replied quickly to questions and concerns, and she seemed just as excited about the wedding as I was. It's easy to see how much she loves her work.

For the wedding itself, Kelly did an AMAZING job. She's easy to be around, so all of our photos seem natural, never too posed. She and her assistant worked quickly. I loved that all the family photos seemed to take only a few minutes. That gave us more time to be with your wedding party and just have fun.

The photos turned out beautifully! Our venue, flowers, my dress, everything looked even better in the photos than I remember it being in person. Every shot is precious to me, and I know I'll cherish them forever. Yay Kelly!

The best advice I can give to a bride is to hire Spindle Photography! The owner and photographer, Kelly, is fantastic. I am blown away by every single one of my wedding pictures. She captured every moment and every detail--she didn't miss anything. Also, Kelly uses light in a really wonderful way, so be sure to get some sunset photos. She has so much talent and skill, and you will be thrilled with the results.

In addition to being a great photographer, Kelly is so pleasant to be around. Your photographer will be with you all day on your wedding day, so it's important to choose someone who is easy to get along with and fun. Kelly is the perfect choice.

We loved working with Kelly! She was easy going and worked well with the chaos of the wedding day. Kelly was able to catch the aspects of our amazing day, but blend in so we didn't feel each moment was posed with the thought of pictures. We were able to do our engagement, bridal, and wedding day with Kelly and each outing was better than the next. Also she was helpful in making decisions on vendors, schedules, and timelines of when and where to do things to make our wedding day go as smoothly as it did.

Kelly was absolutely wonderful. She and her assistant were very organized and able to capture every moment of our day beautifully. Some of our favorite photos are of us on a stairway platform outside, with the cityscape behind us-- it was a photo opportunity Kelly had an eye for and came out great! Kelly was a delight to work with, is incredibly sweet, and very conscientious. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a highly talented professional photographer to capture their special day.

I cannot say enough kind words about Kelly. She was AMAZING to work with from the moment we had our initial meeting with her in her office (before we even signed our contract) to the day she sent us our wedding photos (way ahead of schedule, I might add) almost a year after our first meeting. Not only that, she is one of the kindest people I've ever met and quickly makes you feel more like you are working with a friend than just a normal vendor. Her work speaks for itself - we used her for engagement photos, bridal portraits, and, of course, our wedding day and I couldn't be more pleased with all of the pictures. She has an amazing eye for detail and composition and somehow manages to beautifully (and discreetly) capture every detail and element of your big day and do it in a way that is naturally beautiful (without a lot of unrealistic filters and airbrushing). Finding the perfect photographer was high on my priority list, so I definitely had high expectations. Kelly went above and beyond and blew those expectations out of the water. Needless to say, we cannot recommend her enough! In fact, we're trying to find other excuses to use her ;) Thanks again, Kelly for capturing our day so perfectly and providing us with such stunning images to enjoy for years to come!

Kelly is simply lovely to work with and I could not have been any more blown away by the pictures she captured from my wedding day, in fact, I am pretty obsessed with them :) My friends and family have also raved about how beautiful my pictures turned out, and especially loved all the amazing candid photos from the reception taken on the dance floor! I have had MANY future brides ask me who my photographer was. I would recommend Kelly to anyone who wants to relive their wedding day just as it happened: lots of candids and not so posed.

Kelly was amazing! Besides the photography being beautiful, she is so laid back and calm and easy to get along with. As the MOB let me say how confident I am in the unique skill and creativity of Kelly Cummings! From the engagement pictures to the way she snapped at the wedding and reception - I know that we will have a difficult time selecting photos! Kelly started with us at 9am on the big day and continued until the Bride and Groom left the reception at 10pm. I kept hearing people making comments about the extensive coverage provided by Kelly and her colleague and friend, Morgan Trinker. Kelly was there snapping without being intrusive yet I know she captured intimate and special moments throughout the 2 days of rehearsal and wedding celebrating. I can't say enough good things about Kelly from Spindle Photography. First of all, her prices are great compared to other photographers we looked at. More importantly, she was absolutely wonderful to work with. She communicated with me throughout my planning process and was always willing to offer vendor recommendations and advice about anything wedding related. She worked with me and my day-of coordinator to make a photo schedule, which was important for keeping the wedding day stress-free. On the day of, she was also able to be flexible and think on her feet, which is important because inevitably, something won't go quite as planned. I really respect that she was able to wrangle my huge family and the large wedding party for all the formal photos, and they all loved her as much as my husband and I did. She is just a lovely person and played a major role in keeping me calm on my wedding day. She was there for the entire day, and captured every little moment. We could not be happier with the beautiful images that she gave us. Working with Kelly you can tell that she truly cares not only about the quality of the photos but also about the quality of your experience.

Kelly Cummings of Spindle Photography added so much to not only our wedding but to our entire weekend and our whole planning process. She was so encouraging and helpful that I would quickly call her a friend and not just a vendor. She took special care in getting to know me and my groom so that she could perfectly capture our weekend. We couldn't possibly be more pleased. Kelly with Spindle Photography was the best vendor I worked with during my wedding and I would consider all the vendors I worked with to be excellent! She made everything easy, beginning with traveling to my hometown for our engagement shoot. I was in love with my engagement pictures and had no clue how the wedding photography experience could top it... but of course it did. Kelly made sure everything for the wedding day flowed very smoothly and was very open to ideas that popped in my head as we went along. I would HIGHLY recommend Kelly to anyone! Kelly was absolutely wonderful to work with and her pictures are amazing! I just got married 3 weeks ago and she recently sent me a preview and I LOVED the photos! I am so excited to see the rest! My husband and I each had 8 groomsmen and bridesmaid. All of the groomsmen had been in each other weddings and they all said that Kelly was the easiest and best photographer to work with. (Let's face it, groomsmen love to have fun and goof off and she worked wonderful with them) My sister is engaged and she also is going to use Kelly for her wedding next year.

I hired Kelly based on 3 reasons. 1. I loved her photos on her blog. 2. I loved her prices with her packages 3. She had an unlimited time for day of wedding.

Kelly responds quickly to your emails. She has great ideas or suggestions if you need any help. She also takes photos extremely fast and with an artistic style and vision. She works with you on a wedding timeline for day of wedding for photos, so you don't have to worry about anything. I was able to be stress free on my wedding day and know that Kelly and her assistant would capture every moment we wanted. I would highly recommend Spindle Photography for anyone!!

Kelly was absolutely amazing! Looking back on all of the decisions I made planning my wedding, the best one was choosing Spindle Photography. The pictures are the detail that you will have the rest of your life and I am absolutely in love with every one of the 1,000 + pictures from our day. Kelly was a joy to work with and felt like an old friend by the time our wedding day arrived. She has such a great style and eye that every picture turns out amazing. Kelly is the best! From the initial contact via email to this date (3 weeks after the wedding), she has been simply amazing.

Photography was the most important aspect of the wedding for me, and I searched days and days for a perfect photographer. When I came across her work, I knew that the search was over. I fell in love with her soft and romantic style instantly and contacted her immediately. Her response was very quick, professional, and friendly. I knew right then that she was the one!

I worked with Kelly mostly via emails since I live in South Carolina. And she made the process of planning a wedding from miles away so much easier! She was always responsive. I never had to wait longer than 3 business days to hear back from her. Whenever I asked her a question, I felt that she really cared and that she took the time to communicate with full details and information.

Kelly is also very resourceful and experienced. She recommended some great vendors. I actually got my hair done by the hair salon she recommended.

On the wedding day, she made everyone feel comfortable. My 17-month-old niece is not always comfortable in front of a professional camera, but she was smiling the entire day! My husband and I had a lot of fun getting pictures taken.

I just received a preview of our wedding photos yesterday, and they literally took my breath away! They are so romantic and beautiful. We are so proud of our pictures, and we can't wait to share them with friends and family and with our children and grandchildren in the future. We love looking at our photos, and we would definitely love to work with her again.

She was so helpful at calming me down. She is just amazing. Just take one look at the pictures and you will be SOLD.

Kelly is the sweetest person, and when it comes to photography I couldn't say enough wonderful things about her. She is so flexible, and has a lot of experience. She made sure to get every picture that we wanted, and everyone was where they needed to be. Family pictures went very smoothly, and she made us feel comfortable the entire day. Now that the wedding is over, she is more of a friend than a vendor to my husband and I. I plan on calling her any time I need a photographer!

Kelly was wonderful from our first meeting and continues to be so now even months after my wedding. She is a professional first, but her kindness and confidence made me feel at ease even as a self-conscious subject of photographs. I can't recall ever waiting for an email response from Kelly--actually, she was so one top of things, she was usually the one to contact me with gentle reminders or follow up questions I had left to answer. When all is said and done, however, the pictures are the most important element. I will say that I was thrilled with the images Kelly captured from our wedding. Even with challenges placed on her by church rules, a tardy bride, etc., I was given a beautiful story in pictures of the most important day of my life. Kelly was a joy to work with, and I would recommend her without an ounce of reservation.

Kelly is an excellent photographer, but also an excellent person in and out to work with. She really connected with myself and my husband, to work with us on what we envisioned and make it a reality. We had a hard time before finding her of finding someone who wouldn't just put us in the similar stances that most wedding photos are in. We didn't want the cliche everyone joking and laughing and "fake" photos, we wanted real moments captured in the best way possible, so we could look back at the photos and say, we had the best time of our lives with our loved ones and never held back! Kelly did that! The end result is absolutely stunning and something I know we will look back on with lots of joy, every time, without asking ourselves why didn't we do this or that, it is all there!

I am a huge review person, so this is a little long for those of you who want to get a really good look at Spindle Photography � you won�t be disappointed!

Kelly Cummings recently shot my Destination Wedding in the Dominican Republic. I came across Kelly's work online after searching for several months for the right photographer. I was immediately drawn to her photojournalistic style of shooting. As soon as I went to her website and blog spot, I was able to see a nice collection of her work, and also enjoyed having direct links to many great wedding and party planning websites and blog spots. I could tell immediately from these resources and the way that Kelly presented herself that she was exactly what I was looking for. Her clean, simple style joined with whimsical charm was the perfect fit for the wedding that I was trying to create!

Because of the distance factor (I am in New England!) I worked with Kelly over the phone and through emails to put together a plan for my wedding. I immediately felt a connection with Kelly�s warm and efficient personality. I felt confident after each conversation that she was taking my input, and combining it with her expertise. I really felt that we made a great connection, and couldn�t wait to book her for the wedding trip!

Kelly flew to our destination (Punta Cana, Dominican Republic) to meet up with us a little way into our trip. We went over the final details, and she immediately fit into our large group of family and friends. They were all very impressed with her warm personality and southern charm! She spent much of the day prior to the wedding acquainting herself with the very large resort, scoping out ideal spots for pictures, and carefully going over the details of timing, lighting, etc. We were dealing with some difficult and unknown light conditions. I had planned our ceremony on the beach not realizing that in the exact half hour that it was to take place (6-6:30pm) the sky goes from beautiful dusk to complete darkness! No lingering sunsets in Punta Cana! So we were dealing with a huge time crunch! I was a little worried about how this would affect the pictures, but Kelly calmly assured me that she would be able to get the shots that we wanted regardless of the light conditions! Once again, her confidence transferred to all of us, knowing that she would make it work!

The day of the wedding, Kelly arranged to meet up with me at the resort�s spa and captured some great images of me and my bridesmaids getting ready! She fit right into the mix, and we didn�t even know she was there taking pictures. One of the things that most impressed me was Kelly�s ability to be in the moment with me throughout the entire wedding day. A perfect example of this (and her incredible attention to detail) involved her making sure that my mom got to place my wedding veil on me, and also that we got some priceless shots of such a special moment. Moments like these often get rushed through in the craziness of getting to the ceremony, but Kelly was so amazing at slowing everyone down even for a brief amount of time in order to document these special moments on camera! She calmly accompanied me all the way through the resort to the ceremony, and somehow got herself in place to get the most beautiful ceremony shots ever! Kelly got great shots from so many angles, and made sure to get shots of our entire wedding group. After the ceremony, she got more wonderful group photos, and both classic and unique shots of us as a couple, the setting, the decorations, etc. Throughout the entire night, everyone kept commenting on how calm and collected Kelly was, despite moving to and from several different areas of the resort, dealing with a very humid night, and as mentioned before, constantly changing light conditions�enough to stress any wedding professional out!

After our wedding, we were so excited to see the pictures! We were able to see edited photos the VERY NEXT WEEK on the Spindle Photography blog spot, and our friends and family were able to access them very easily. We knew the photos would be good � but they were absolutely perfect. Kelly could not have done a better job capturing our wedding day on film. She made sure to get all of the little details, but paid just as much attention to all of the classic wedding shots that you need to get � couple shots, wedding party, family, setting, etc. And most important to me: she captured the whole day in a photojournalistic, simple, artistic, flattering, and whimsical style that is all her own! I would recommend Kelly Cummings and Spindle Photography 100% for your wedding. When people start asking who the photographer was as soon as they see the pictures, you know they are good! Kelly is a 5 star photographer! She was recommended by our wedding planner and she did an excellent job! She is very talented, organized, she manages time well during the sessions and is very prompt. She is also very creative which adds to the value and the awesome quality you already get with her shots. She is fun to work and is very professional. We were cracking up at some if the shots because the ideas turned out to be so funny. The other more serious photos look classic and timeless. As far as the turnaround time on proofs goes, we actually got our edited proofs back weeks before they were due and they looked amazing. Check out her site, look at her work, and know that you are investing in a photographer who will be an asset to the best day of your life.

Kelly was such a joy to work with and led us through the process seamlessly. She made us feel comfortable and guided us to make pictures that would capture our day perfectly! Highly recommended and you get the rights to all of the photos she takes of you!
