Joe was INCREDIBLE! From the very beginning to receiving our photos, Joe was easy to reach, flexible, and very accommodating! Both our engagement photos and our wedding photos turned out far better than we could have imagined! Joe became a friend who we will definitely go back to in the future for other photography needs! -

Erin Sent on 06/12/2017We used Spicy-Meatball for the photography and DJ services on our wedding day back in May and we were NOT disappointed!!!! It rained on our wedding day and we were planning on doing the majority of our pictures outside (which was a huge disappointment) but Joe was able to reassure us that our pictures would still be great even though we couldn't manipulate the weather.... And boy was he right! Our pictures are phenomenal! We were able to see the majority of the photos he took at the wedding within 2 weeks!
So many of our guests even complimented us on how great Joe was and how sincere and personable he was - not just to us, but to them. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

User2580361 Sent on 04/18/2016Let me start out by saying that I am a very sentimental person, however, we were on a pretty tight budget from the get go. With that said, we wanted our wedding day to be as "captured" as possible but also be a fun event that people genuinely enjoyed. So we decided that we were willing to go with the professionals for photography. When we met Joe for the first time, he was quickly able to relieve any nerves we had and made us feel so comfortable that we decided then and there that he would be a perfect fit. We decided that we would opt for both photography and DJ services with Spicy Meatball (Joe and Alison) as it seemed like a perfect idea! They blew us away with how fantastic they did!!! Seriously, I cannot even count how many people personally told me how impressed they were with Joe and Alison and the compliments are still coming!! They were so accommodating and I have the most beautiful pictures that captured the love that was shared on our wedding day perfectly. Spicy Meatball was worth every penny!! I cannot wait to display the photos all over the walls in my house! -

Sarah Sent on 06/29/2017Alison is absolutely amazing! She is always available via text. She doesn't have "packages" and everything is personal and unique to each wedding, which I love. There are no "hour blocks" or cut offs with Spicy Meatball which is totally unique. We are having her for our photographer and our DJ and I'm so excited to get some of those late night dance pictures that so many couples miss out on. She is open to all suggestions and I really feel comfortable chatting with her, even for advice beyond pictures and music. She's truly an expert and so willing to share her knowledge if needed. -

Alison was faced with the almost insurmountable task of making two un-photogenic people look good and she made it happen! We had a great connection to her personality and her skill behind the camera. She did our engagement and wedding pictures, both of which were beautiful. She was there early in the morning and didn’t leave until the dance was well underway. If you are looking for the best photographer in MN – hire her. -

We had our wedding in June, and I was first hesitant about hiring Joe & Alison for both photos and DJ, thinking that it would be so much for them to handle. As it turned out, not only did they DJ and take fantastic photos, we also practically got great toastmastering at the reception, and Joe went from table to table for photos and make sure we got our guest book filled out. He seems to be able to make everyone smile, and I think he became a friend with everyone there. He also gave comprehensive photography advice to my brother-in-law who would do some photography at another celebration overseas. Having them at our wedding thus made our big day so much more wonderful! -

He was full of ideas to help us accomplish what we wanted. Our guests had a great time and our pictures came out great! -
User2092383 Sent on 04/09/2015With Joe and Alison you feel like one of the family from the first time you meet them. What a wonderful Husband and Wife team that will make your day unforgettable. I was able to book them through a referral of a friend before I went to her wedding. I knew they were the right photographers for us from the beginning just by the way we felt so comfortable with them. My fiance and I have seen them in action at my friends wedding and they were amazing, hey did Photography, DJ and Open Air Photo booth for them. Everything went so smoothly I can't wait to see the results from our wedding.
We also did our engagement photos with them and they are also going to be doing a friends family photo and baby photos. There is nothing they can't do!
