If you're looking for exceptional entertainment for your wedding or special event, look no further than Speechless Music Company! I just saw them perform at the Firehouse Center for the Arts in January, and I immediately started thinking about how perfect they'd be for private events.
What impressed me most was their versatility and professionalism. While they were performing Taylor Swift hits that night, their instrumental arrangements showed they could adapt any music to create the perfect atmosphere. Their sound level was perfectly balanced - loud enough to get people dancing but still allowing for conversation, which is crucial for events.
The band members were incredibly polished and professional in their presentation, from their coordinated look to their smooth transitions between songs. They were also great at reading the room and adjusting their energy accordingly - exactly what you want for an event where the vibe might need to shift throughout the night.
I especially appreciated how they engaged with the audience without overshadowing the experience. They struck that perfect balance of being entertaining while staying tastefully in the background - essential for any wedding or corporate event. Their setup was clean and professional, and they clearly had top-notch equipment.
Based on what I saw, they would nail any event playlist, whether it's wedding classics, current hits, or elegant dinner music. Professional, talented, and adaptable - they're definitely worth reaching out to for your next event! -

Our entire experience with SpeechLess Music was absolutely amazing! From day 1, Scott spoke with me at length about exactly what I wanted, and they went above and beyond. They were professional, communicative, and fun! Our situation was rather unique in that my husband and I, who had already been together for a decade, were finally "officially" blending our families, including 5 adult children. I told Scott that literally everyone at the party was either 25 or 55 and to choose the music accordingly, which is exactly what they did. We had a trio play at our ceremony, which included accompanying our daughters who sang "To Make You Feel My Love" by Adele. They only had a few minutes to rehearse but the musicians put the girls at ease and made it sound as if they had all been practicing for weeks. During cocktail hour we had a jazz trio who knocked it out of the park and created exactly the right "vibe" that I was looking for. We had an upright bass which was the perfect elegant, jazzy, and original touch. My husband asked for a saxophone player and a keyboardist rounded it out perfectly. After planning for a year to have a gorgeous outdoor wedding on the water, mother nature did not cooperate and it poured all day. Once we walked into the reception space, all of that disappointment melted away. The room was even better than I imagined, the band warmly welcomed us, and then the music started, and the party never stopped. In my opinion, the band makes or breaks the wedding, and these guys were amazing. They played everything I wanted and then some. They got the mood of the crowd exactly right and literally everyone was on the dance floor for hours on end. I have never seen anything like it. You would look out at the tables and only a handful of people were left. My 85 year old mother, who has never "danced on her own" as she put it, was the hit of the party and never sat down. Every one of the musicians and singers was incredibly talented and I am a tough critic! Lizje was an amazing emcee, singer, and kept the energy high for 4 hours. At the end of the night we were exhausted but so happy. At brunch the next day I heard nothing but wonderful comments about the music. I have to say my favorite thing of all is that we had a professional videographer who put together an 8 minute "film" about the wedding. He put in so many clips of the musicians and they look like they are genuinely having a great time. Huge smiles on their faces, dancing, laughing, and enjoying being in the moment playing together. Thank you all for truly making this the best night of our lives! -

We were thrilled to have a string trio from Speechless Strings perform at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour in Cape Cod. The team was so responsive and easy to work with. They allowed us to select the types of songs we wanted to hear, made it easy to collaborate on a planning document, and checked in timely a month before our wedding. Most importantly, the performance was gorgeous. It brings tears to my eyes to think about how the string music sounded when we walked down the aisle.SpeechLess Music's reply:

My wife and I hired Speechless for our wedding - String Trio for ceremony, Jazz Trio for cocktail hour, and DJ for the reception. We had a wonderful experience! Communication was great throughout our planning process. The string trio played new arrangements for a couple requests that were excellent. The Jazz trio was so much fun at cocktail hour and graciously obliged my last minute request for Mr PC. Finally, our DJ was excellent and setting a vibe for the evening and incorporating a great mix of our playlists and night-of requests.
Would gladly book them again for another event! -

I don't even know where to begin.... Speechless absolutely crushed it! Not only was the performance amazing but the service this team provided during the planning process and even during the event was second to none. We wanted the best band possible and without a doubt in my mind that's what we got. Not one person was sitting down, I mean people were dancing before dinner started... that doesn't happen. The number of people who came up to us and said this was the best band they've ever heard was overwhelming, my parents were actually speechless when they started playing.
I want to give the band's founder, Scott, a huge shoutout. What he was able to bring to our wedding was truly remarkable. He played a key role in making this a day we would never forget. Cheers to you, Scott. Looking forward to booking this band again! -

Speechless Music is thoughtful, accommodating, and professional. The artists are incredibly talented. We filled out an inquiry form on their website and received a response almost immediately from Scott, the booking director. We wanted string music for the ceremony and cocktail hour and DJ for the dinner reception. Scott was incredibly accommodating and willing to work with our smaller budget and COVID-19 restrictions. Once we worked out the particulars, we were provided a planning google-doc to outline special song quests, etc. Once we completed the planning document, we virtually met Amanda (part of planning committee) and Felix (violinist and DJ/MC) to go through the entire wedding day – start to finish. We had a string trio (keyboardist, violinist, and upright base) play for the ceremony and then had them move to the opposite of the estate to play during cocktail hour. It was a seamless process thanks for Felix and our venue staff. Our guests raved about the string trio throughout the night. Even the transition from stings to DJ/MC was seamless – again thanks to Felix! Felix is an accomplished violaist and has a talent for event coordination. For the dinner reception, we had MC services and a playlist. We felt we did not need a DJ because dancing was limited (COVID-19). We left the playlist up to Felix and it was perfect. He played quiet and calm music during dinner and provided cues for wedding party speeches. We would absolutely recommend Felix and Speechless to anyone!
Bonus: We placed a special request to have our song, Paradise by George Ezra played by the strings as our walk out ceremony song. After our wedding, Speechless sent us a copy of the music composition as a keepsake. Such a sweet touch that made us both feel so valued.

We booked speechless for our Newport wedding. They were AMAZING and really set the vibe while guests arrived and during the wedding ceremony. Additionally, the variety they offer of both classical and pop was great and allowed us to mix in some variety between the wedding and our cocktail hour. They were easy to work with and made the planning process easy and stress free. We highly recommend !!! -

We hired a pop quartet from Speechless for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Their videos are fantastic, but we were a little nervous: we walked down the aisle to a new song they had to learn, and we recessed to a song they've played before but we couldn't find in a video. Well, that was wrong. All the songs were gorgeous, and they sound great in our wedding video. Our guests loved it! And the folks at Speechless was extremely easy and pleasant to deal with. My fiance and I heard Speechless perform at a wedding expo and immediately knew they would be a perfect fit for us and the vision we had for our wedding. From the minute we booked a string trio for our ceremony and cocktail hour, planning with Scott and his team was seamless...and fun! We were SO excited to hear the custom songs (and all of the songs!) we picked for the band to play.
Just as we expected, the string trio was classy, lively, and filled our venue with a feeling of happiness and love. We had guests coming up to us all night commenting on how special the strings music was and how talented the musicians were. It was just the feeling we wanted our guests to have. We also cannot thank Scott and his team enough for the A+ customer service in planning and day-of execution. Being so well taken care of in the details of planning with Scott and his team made us feel very comfortable leading up to our big day.

Absolutely Amazing!
My husband attended a music conservatory for college and having good, quality musicians at our wedding was incredibly important to him. SpeechLess was absolutely amazing! We had them for the cocktail hour only but wish we could have had them all night! Our guests absolutely loved the live music and were so engaged with the band. They are fantastic musicians and so fun to watch, we would highly recommend them for any event!SpeechLess Music's reply:

I would like to start this review by saying that one of my best friends is the lead singer in a rock band and we go to a lot of concerts and musical performances every year. Music is one of my passions!
Aside from the ceremony, the most important aspect of our wedding was the live music. I even had our venue change the floor plan to accommodate a bigger dance floor.
Needless to say, I was relentless in my research for the perfect band. We decided to hire Speechless, and I’m happy to say, it was the best part of the reception!
We chose an eight piece version of this multi talented, multifaceted group of musicians.
For our procession and recession they played beautiful instrumental versions of some of my favorite Beatles songs.
During cocktail hour and dinner they played jazz with rich melodies that relaxed and loosened up the crowd.
By the time we hit the dance floor they were in full dance mode with some awesome all time favorites and current pop songs.
But more than just their musical talent, the band knew how to interacted with our guests. The high energy was contagious...from the saxophone player coming onto the dance floor, to the lead singers pumping up the crowd.They had great personalities.
Speechless was so good that my guest were googling them on the Internet the next day.
If you like to dance, and you love live music, then you need to hire Speechless! I scored a home run with my wedding reception thanks to Speechless!SpeechLess Music's reply:

SpeechlessMusic did a fantastic job at our recent wedding! We hired a quartet to play our ceremony and cocktail hour -- and they were a hit with everyone. I even requested a song off their usual repertoire as my bridal entrance song. Leading up to my big day I was a bit nervous since there was no way to hear the song in advance. Well, I had nothing to worry about because they played the song BEAUTIFULLY and I couldn't be happier with their work. The team was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process, and I highly recommend SpeechlessMusic. They're a little pricier than other area quartets...but you definitely get what you pay for! :)SpeechLess Music's reply:

Don't think about it. Just hire them. They're that good.
There is no better wedding or party band than SpeechLess. We were impressed with them from the minute they began playing until the end of the night. They played during our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and impressed everyone. We received more positive feedback about them than any of our other vendors. Look no further than SpeechLess if you want a band that will make sure your wedding goes perfectly and keep the dance floor packed (even during breaks).

Barbara Sent on 04/23/2018I booked an acoustic duo (violin and guitar) for our intimate wedding ceremony and drinks reception a few weeks ago and I am so glad that I did. We were travelling from abroad and only had 10 guests at a restaurant wedding so initially we were not going to have any entertainment but on a whim I found SpeechLess online and from the moment I found them I knew they would only enhance our day. I loved their music selections and repertoire and from the moment I contacted Scott he was fantastic!
The restaurant had reservations about me having live music in our private dining room due to the size. I was able to tease out all of their concerns with Scott and he assured me that the music would work well in the space we had and that if on the day there was anything that didn't work they could adjust it.
On the day the guys were just fantastic, true artists and they obviously enjoy what they do. They did a fantastic job with our chosen music selection and had even learned 2 new songs as a special request from us. They nailed both of them! Guys if you ever record either of those songs as an acoustic demo please send them on to us!!! Scott has since sent me the sheet music for our special requests which was a lovely touch and it is great to be able to add them to our memories!
Thank you so much for the fantastic job you guys did. The music is one of the things that stands out to me most about the day, it really helped to make it even more special! I would recommend you in a heartbeat. The trio performed contemporary songs as guests arrived before our ceremony, during the processional, recessional and cocktail reception. They were able to learn the music to specific songs we requested during the ceremony, which made our day even more special. Our guests are still talking about the music and they loved that we were able put such a fun twist on a classic element of a wedding. Thank you for making our day so memorable! -

We had our ceremony in a small church, and I was hoping to find some sort of soloist or duo that wouldn't overpower the space. SpeechLess Music was the perfect fit with a violin, guitar duo. Our guests had so many great things to say and their arrangements of the music choices I picked were flawless. Very responsive via email as well which put me at ease!

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with their entire team. Not only were they a dream to work with prior to our wedding, but the music they played during our wedding was absolutely outstanding.
They have an entire list of instrumental combinations you can pick from - We chose violin, guitar, upright bass and percussion (4 musicians total), which was perfect for our intimate event. If you are looking for more, they also have fantastic singers, a full brass band, piano and more. They are very well versed in contemporary music as well as traditional jazz and classical. Every single person who attended our wedding commented on how amazing the music was. They even learned a few specific songs we requested that were important to us for our ceremony.
We cannot recommend Speechless enough and our only regret from our wedding is that we did not have them play for longer. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! -

We hired Scott for the guitar and another band member for the violin for our ceremony and cocktail hour. They were incredible for both! They were able to play the songs we requested for our ceremony, and played covers of Top 40 for the cocktail hour. Everyone loved them!
